201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING - Coinomi Wallet CRITICAL Vulnerability Made Me Lose My Life Savings on: May 25, 2019, 04:23:54 PM
Makes me sick how very few people are even held responsible for their actions.  They just forget about it and show no sympathy for the losses they caused.   I've gotten to a point where it is hard to trust anyone after seeing all these hacks, scams, and phishers.
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Same thing happens to everyone who tries that! on: May 25, 2019, 03:48:43 PM
This message is to anyone who think being on a mission to kill Bitcoin is a "wise" decision. Use Craig Wright as a case study and compare it to the life he'd have if he were to focus on building his own platform and promoting it in his own way.

Secondly, take a look at all those so-called "Bitcoin killer coins" and look at their fate without Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the most loved asset in this ecosystem and so it's meaningless to try to make it your hunting mission. Together, Bitcoin lovers are stronger than anyone or any coin.

So next time you think about killing Bitcoin, remember you'll be "dead and forgotten" before you even start.

Have a nice evening!!!

Are you forgetting about all the altcoins that outperformed bitcoin.  Ethereum did over a 1000x and absolutely outpaced bitcoin's gains during that time.  As much as I love bitcoin it is a lot easier to make high gains on low cap altcoins.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What could I do? on: May 25, 2019, 03:41:32 PM
But I don't steal money if I use the code right I mean the code of btc I use the code of btc so I'm not make fake money I mean I wanna make a btc original what could I do?
So you are trying to be like Ver= BCH and CW=BSV?

The issue here isnt about stealing money. If you are really serious with this goal then better asked em out to those person i do mention above. Cool

The difference is those guys are already multi millionaires if not billionaires.  The have the money to spend on advertising to make their coins successful.  Without a large marketing budget you aren't likely to get anywhere.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: where do you trade your Altcoin? on: May 25, 2019, 03:39:36 PM
Even though Binance got hacked its still my first choice when it comes to exchanges.  They have al lthe major coins listed with high volume and they even covered their customer losses after the 7000 bitcoin hack.
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you start crypto gambling? on: May 25, 2019, 03:37:44 PM
I don't really remember the first thing I gambled on with crypto but I used to be more heavy into the dice games and roulette.  I also did a fair amount of sports betting, usually on basketball games.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Sign Up with Rizin Fighting Federation on: May 25, 2019, 03:35:01 PM
Some still think that there is a chance of another rematch between Pacquiao and Mayweather.  The amount of money to be had if they fought again would be immense and Floyd already has career winnigns over one billion.

I don't think that it will happen. Manny Pacquiao has tried his best to schedule a rematch, but Floyd Mayweather has rejected his request outright. We can't blame Floyd for that as he is having much better options when compared to Pacquiao. Also he may be thinking that a rematch may accrue less revenue when compared to the original match.

Maybe your right but Floyd doesn't really have anyone left to fight and the way he is blowing through money he may some really big payouts before he is too old to continue boxing.
207  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Socialism is so bad that it allows poor people to live. Horrible true story on: May 25, 2019, 03:32:51 PM
The most ideal situation is to at least have a base floor of life for people.  Let people continue to make large amounts of wealth but I still believe the basics of life should not be in the free market.  Healthcare, shelter, education, food, these things become a nightmare when only left to the free market.

Its not right for someone to own 20 houses and let them all sit vacant, that is a major flaw in the system.

Why would companies cure illness when they can make more profit by treating the symptoms?

209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The used of Bitcoin in Africa on: May 25, 2019, 03:15:24 PM
Bitcoin is the last thing that AFricans need, many o them don't even have the technology infrastructure to implement bitcoin payments at stores.  The real problem is the wealth inequality and as long as other countries keep using Africans as cheap labor nothing will change.
210  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying goods or services using crypto on: May 25, 2019, 02:17:50 PM
I prefer to keep crypto, btc and eth can touch high this year.

Doesn't make too much sense to spend it right now does it, especially when most people are expecting new all time highs by the end of this year.  I always try to immediately replace any bitcoin that I do happen to spend though.
211  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favourite outdoor games on: May 25, 2019, 02:16:40 PM
I prefer playing soccer

I have been playing soccer since I was a kid, I remember my mum use to be so angry back then because I always get to be very dirty and I always spoil my wears.

Over the past 5 years though I haven't been consistent enough as I use to be when I was in high school, probably because the friends i came to meet in college weren't much of soccer playing fans.

It is called Football! lol, just kidding but I wonder if we have more Americans or Europeans here on this forum.

Soccer/Football is a great sport to play outside because all you need is a ball, you don't need a lot of gear or equipment like you do with golf.
212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much did you make from gambling in 2018! on: May 25, 2019, 02:09:44 PM
I pretty much broke even over last year but I haven't gambled as much as I usually do.  Just have been really busy with real life things but I will probably have more free time soon to gamble with.
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HAVE YOU EVER MET ANY SUCCESSFUL GAMBLER on: May 25, 2019, 02:05:55 PM
The biggest win of anyone I know personally is my relative that won $600,000 from the lottery.  After taxes were taken out they spent nearly all the money on a house.  So that win didn't really change their life much but gave them a piece of mind from owning their own home.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How halving Bitcoin will affect the price of cryptocurrency? on: May 25, 2019, 02:02:23 PM
Just because bitcoin is halving doesn't mean the price will increase to a new high.  There are still a lot of people that bought in high that are waiting to dump so expect this next bull run to take a much longer time.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH pottential 10X or more? on: May 25, 2019, 01:59:47 PM
In relation to bitcoin ethereum for the year very decently fell. But it seems to me only with the introduction of pos, it will begin to really grow, but for now flat until the end of the year at least and growth only with the market.

I don't think that only PoS will make the price of ETH grow strongly in the past. I think whales are returning to the crypto market because the US and China continue to trade war. They do not want the money they are losing, and they have to invest in crypto.
Our market has grown very fast in the past 2 months and that is a positive sign. The price of ETH can reach $ 400 threshold by the end of 2019.

$400 is still a very low price, my prediction is that it will at least be $800 by that point.  Proof of Stake has been delayed many times by the team and people are starting to get impatient.  Vitalik has been hailed as the young genius of crypto but things aren't looking as good as they once were.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese citizens could safely hold Bitcoin on: May 25, 2019, 01:45:09 PM
Bitcoin's reach in China is really extensive.  OF course we know that bitcoin mining is dominated by China but their government is now more open to crypto.  Asian countries seem to have a much more favorable attitude towards crypto than European nations.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: May 25, 2019, 12:55:05 AM
Wow Vitalik hasn't been active on this forum in over 2 years.  I know he is worth hundreds of millions but it would be cool if he came back and added some of his insight to this thread instead of only communicating through twitter.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India on Bitcoin: Will the Newly Elected Indian Government Pass Crypto-Friendly on: May 25, 2019, 12:53:16 AM
Bitcoin won't magically lift indians out of poverty but it may give their country some new jobs in the crypto sector.  Any country that goes and tries to completely ban crypto will just lose out on economic activity and loss of tax revenue.
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The key reason for gambling on: May 25, 2019, 12:49:36 AM
gambling for me is a way of fun. I don't play to earn money because casino always wins and only lucky one can take jackpot.
It is for you mate but for the other players, they'll consider this a bread and butter for them, considering this a source of income to sustain their needs.
It is not a question of why casinos will always win cause that makes them stand for a long time.
It is a very difficult thing to consider that gambling is a source of income, you can't juice up gambling site to sustain your daily needs that are very risky to us to consider. Anyway, I also thinking of this but unfortunately, this isn't working out because I don't have luck enough to make a profit. But this is the fact and what gamblers came up their mind that the reason for gambling is to earn a profit on it, we have our different perspective on gambling we respect their likes and mind our own business.

I guess thats true but there will always be some group that is lucky and able to make consistent money.  That is just how life is and it isn't fair.  The key thing is to not let the jealousy consume you because believe me, I have been there before and it is a place you do not want to be.
220  Economy / Services / Re: Stake.com - A signature campaign for everyone! Earn up to 0.1 BTC weekly on: May 24, 2019, 11:27:57 PM
Now it will be difficult to withdraw even the minimum amount, increase the payment of at least $ 1 for 10 posts
Make privileges for old members

Most signature campaigns don't even give spots out to Jr. Members.  I know the rate may seem low but keep in mind that the signature that Jr. Members can display is very small and not noticeable to most users.
