841  Economy / Speculation / Re: Q4 prediction for Bitcoin? Time to buy now? on: October 04, 2018, 03:39:00 PM
I don't think we will see bitcoin below six thousand again.  Now is the time to buy.  If you wait for lower prices you will be waiting forever and miss out on the next bull run.  Also, time in the market always beats trying to time the market.
842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: October 02, 2018, 09:35:41 PM
Hello every body.I am a Newbie. I joined Crytopia about four months ago. I hold ont and dog Now I want to practice to trade .Please help me give some idea for Newbie as me, I should trade or not? I really want to receive the instruction of the go-ahead, thank a lots.  Kiss Kiss

Before you step into real trading I would use one of the many demo sites that are available.  You can practice with "play money" before you step into the deep end with real money.

The biggest tip I can give you is be patient.  Don't fall for the sudden spikes and keep low buy orders just in case the price experiences a flash crash.  Honestly though, it's very difficult to make consistent profit trading and not many people can do it.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Downsides to crypto on: September 03, 2018, 08:47:31 PM
Obviously I prefer crypto over the current banking system but one thing that can suck about cryptocurrency if your not careful is that transactions are not reversible.  If you carelessly send coins to a wrong address or a hacker gets access to your private key those funds are gone and you will not get that money back.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think ICO investors are Decreasing? on: September 02, 2018, 03:50:51 PM
ICO investing is definitely dying.  Most ICOs have turned out to be scams or they are trading at a price much lower than the presale price.  Most investors lost a lot of money already so they are very hesitant to put more money into this market.  Maybe when we start another bull run and bitcoin hits 20k we may see more ICO investing again.
845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does anyone gamble in race sports? on: September 02, 2018, 03:36:47 PM
I prefer to bet on football  and basketball, I'm not really into racing (nascar, formula 1, motocross).  I've placed a few bets on horse racing but I was really out of my element.  I had no clue what I was doing and ended up picking whatever named I liked the best Smiley  I have a friend that visits the dog/horse races a lot, maybe I'll start going more so I can learn more about it though.
846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: September 02, 2018, 03:32:50 PM
Dirk could have retired like two years ago, he is not making any big difference to mavs roster and he is only playing because that dude brought a championship to mavs almost all by himself.

During the era of multiple superstars getting together to win, remembering the time dirk and some role players won it really brings a lot more meaning to that championship, but he is playing only because of that rings worth, otherwise he would have been already forced to cut with the way he plays. Vince as well, both of them are not contributing to their teams like they used to, they are just playing because they were once amazing players.

It's impressive how long Dirk and Vince Cater have been able to play.  You don't see many 40 year olds with the athleticism that Vince Carter still has.  VC's own cousin Tracy Mcgrady had to retire at the age of 34 and Kobe Bryant could barely even make it up and down the court at age 37.  Carter is a true genetic freak, I've seen some amazing highlights of him still dunking at age 40.
847  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The black blockchain summit on: September 02, 2018, 03:25:49 PM
I haven't seen any mention of this, and the summit happens on September 10th. The website is -
https://blackblockchainsummit.com/

The objective is to improve the black communities with the use of blockchaintechnology. I think it's a shame that the emphasis is on skin colour, rather than on the improvement of under- privileged communities in general.

What do you think?

I think separating events and celebrations for only one race just creates more racism.  Do we really need special incentives that hire minorities or a whole month to honor black history month? All this does is divide everyone and creates more hostility.

I think this event is ridiculous for singling out one race of people.
848  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Up or down from this point? soon 8000 or 6000? on: September 02, 2018, 03:10:32 PM
My advice is to not worry about the short term price swings.  I'm sure bitcoin will rise massively over the next few years so you should be thinking with a long term mindset.

I I had to choose etween btc reaching 8k or 6k first again I would choose 8k easily.
849  Economy / Economics / Re: The US Dollar has DEBT and Bitcoin has none on: September 02, 2018, 01:22:12 PM
Governments can't adopt bitcoin as their only currency because the current financial system runs off debt.  You can't just create more bitcoins with fraction lending like how the central banks do.

Also if they ended up creating a government currency with a ledger that was able to be changed by a single person then it would no longer be a true decentralized cryptocurrency.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: September 01, 2018, 03:17:15 PM
This doesn't have to do with money but I once spilled my drink on the blackjack table.  It was pretty embarrassing but the staff was nice about it.  They even give me a replacement drink Smiley  I do most of my gambling online these days anyways since its a lot more convenient and more relaxing.
851  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why obama did nothing against the pedo networks ? on: September 01, 2018, 02:51:40 PM
What I mean is that the President doesn't have control over the central banking system.  The Fed and the banking system are run by a group of manipulative individuals.   They basically have unlimited money because all they have to do is type numbers into a computer screen.  I think if you go against the Central Banks you end up dead like John f. Kennedy.
852  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 20k again on: September 01, 2018, 02:36:19 PM
Of course bitcoin will hit 20k again.  Adoption is only going to increase while mining rewards will get lower overtime.  Personally, I think btc will be back up to 20k levels at the end of 2018 or in early 2019.

For the people that bought over 10k, all you have to do is be patient and hold.  Professional investors have the ability to think long term and not chase short term gains.
853  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earns token on: September 01, 2018, 02:31:12 PM
New projects are announced everyday in their numbers but you have to be very careful and do your own research about the project and the team in order not to be a victim of scam because there are several scam ICOs. You will see new icos announced at the altcoin announcement section.

Most the new ICOs are scams or they end up being completely worthless. I don't understand why people continue to waste their time working on these bounties.  You are working for free and you are just promoting their scam to other gullible investors.  Your time would be spent more productively doing l anything else.
854  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why obama did nothing against the pedo networks ? on: August 31, 2018, 03:55:49 PM
Because the whole thing is run by wealthy billionaires and millionaires.  The wealthy people control our government and they can basically do whatever they want without consequences.    These people are living like kings while normal citizens are going to jail for minor crimes.  It's a very unfair system but it doesn't look like it will change anytime soon.
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: August 31, 2018, 03:45:47 PM
I know its been repeated constantly but don't gamble what your not willing to lose.  Keep a portion of your funds for your gambling budget and use the rest for your necessities.  Some people like to spend their extra money on alcohol, concerts, clothes, but I prefer to use my extra money on gambling since I have a fun time doing it.  I allow myself a gambling budget and I don't go over that limit so I don't have trouble with not stopping.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the best airdrop? on: August 31, 2018, 03:36:06 PM
i am already joined many airdrop but i didnt get much profit from it, like i joined almost 100 airdrop, but still i didnt get much profit without hydrogen, so can you suggest me some good airdrop.?

Don't waste your time on airdrops.  The vast majority of them are completely fake and they only exist to steal your personal information so it can be sold or used for malicious purposes.  Nothing of value will just fall from the sky, life doesn't work like this.

If you really wan't to contribute to this forum you should offer a service that is in high demand like website building, graphic design, or coding.
857  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am not sharing my crypto love? <3 on: August 31, 2018, 03:30:44 PM
Giving investment advice to friends can really strain your relationships.  If your investment advice goes south then they want to put all the blame on you. IF the advice turns out great they may only want to interact with you for your financial advice instead of being a true friend.  It's not smart to mix close relationships with money.
858  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: MARGIN - Yes or NO on: August 31, 2018, 01:17:49 PM
I'm in the holding camp.  I've tried to day trade in the past and ended up losing a lot of money.  I'm not denying that people can be successful in trading but it is still very risky.

Margin trading can give you much higher profits but it comes with a high risk.  With the amount of corruption and insider trading that goes on in this market, trading on margin just gives another tool for whales to use to increase their pockets.
859  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it good to recruit other person to join Blockchain technology? on: August 31, 2018, 01:12:01 PM
I've been trying to get all of my friends and relatives involved in cryptocurrency.  Most of them are receptive of the technology but the older ones are hesitant to use it.  I think crypto is a generational thing.  Adoption rates will rise with the younger crowd and it will eventually become the dominant currency in the world.
860  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: $450,000,000 for a single painting. on: August 29, 2018, 07:42:53 PM
Not sure if this is the case here but these expensive paintings are often used for money laundering.  The value of some of these paintings are crazy, the Mona Lisa has been valued at over $1 billion dollars.

48 million dollars for a car is also ridiculous.  When your a multi billionaire though you have so much extra money you might as well blow it, can't take it with you when you die.

Call me a socialist or whatever but its very depressing how much some of these ultra rich have while a large amount of the world is living on 2 dollars per day.
