2  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How do I find bitcoin accepted ebay sellers? on: September 17, 2019, 01:11:17 AM
I do remember seeing a description that the persons accepted BTC as payment but it was a collection in person.

Guess there would not have been a trust issue.

I am curious how and why would the buyer pay the eBay fees? Guess out of his own cash to avoid exchange fees until eBay implements are direct.

I have seen people and known a few that use ebay as free advertising and then conduct the deal off site,  I've seen it mostly with expensive cars and ebay will ban you permanently if they discover you doing this.

3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: time to change BTC to ETH? on: September 17, 2019, 12:53:34 AM
I have been holding both of them for about 1.5 years now, not fully but 1 years and 2-3 months.
Of course, I still have more bitcoin than ethereum but I find it easier to put "savings" into ethereum and money I earn and make goes to bitcoin directly.

So, I work and get paid, I instantly send 5% of it to ethereum, than I keep about 10% on bitcoin, than I withdraw all the rest and spend it, most of the time its enough for me, for the past 2-3 months I had to cash out almost all of it because I went to vacation and I had no money this year so I had to make a debt just for vacation (I know it sounds silly but I had to reset myself). After that I just went ahead and started paying my debts, I will be debt free in 2 months and will start saving again, putting 5% of all my income to ethereum and 10% to bitcoin.

I think yes))
From a trader's perspective, still BTC must be a good choice when considering the enough volatility to make use for their trading whereas ETH is not giving enough movements to make use it for profitable trading.

Hah, don't stress yourself about going into debt for a vacation.  When we die all we have is our memories, no point in being the richest person in the graveyard.

I'm sure that ethereum will see a larger percentage gain over the next year considering how much it dropped off from the all time high.

People are quick to cry racism at everything now, not saying that it doesn't happen but people are too quick to blame things on racism.

Communism/ socialism has definitely gained popularity among the younger crowd.  Doesn't take a math genius to look at where all the new productivity gains are going to, heres a hint: its not going to hourly workers on the bottom the totem pole.  Wealth disparity is similar to what it was in the gilded age.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice for a poor newbie on: September 17, 2019, 12:41:15 AM
IF your end goal is money you need to think about ownership and have the mind of a capitalist.  Not just making money by speculating, when you have actual businesses that make money off others you will become wealthy.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin Observer - GRN/BTC - Price Movement and Discussion on: September 15, 2019, 10:48:39 PM
@HairyMaclairy. In your opinion, will grin diseased dick itself to $0.50? What is your crystal ball showing you hehehe?

@Febo. 20 years, grin's inflation will be lower than 3%. The price will depend on adoption.

20 years is an eternity in crypto,  Why couldn't they just put a reasonable inflation rate at the start for grin.  Tech can be great but if price doesn't pump people wont care.

10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [US Only] Legalization of the sex trade? on: September 15, 2019, 10:33:22 PM
funny thing is people tend to think of prostitution as only males buying sex from females but the opposite is just as common in many places.  Woman are just as horny as men, don't be fooled by what you see on televsion.

I have 1 wife and i am barely dealing with her, i have no idea how someone can have 4 wives, i would go crazy Cheesy

This tbh.

Paying for sex might save on medical bills or lawyers.

If you go in the rest of the world, you will find that Americans have a lot more "things" than any others.

I had this "cultural shock" when my country went out of communism. Now after almost 30 years, half of the people I know also "has" (quotation marks are very important!) houses, cars and so on, but they are debt slaves.
Actually I am too. And I find it a good way to dodge inflation. Of course, I hope that, among other benefits, Bitcoin could also save me from debt someday.

It's interesting that as opposed to Germans, for example, in my country everybody tries to buy his own flat (or house if affords it). Of course, the result is that everybody will pay for it about all his life. And of course it's counterproductive, since it obstructs relocation based on better job or school for kids.

So I don't know if this is really by choice or social pressure (!).

If you are living in America (and now in most of Europe) you are not raised, you are harvested.
That's this feeling that makes some people crazy and shooting everyone else.

The Elite need people to do stuff they cannot do. They want to be served. You may think that robots would do the job better but it is not true. The humain population is way better than robots. You don't need to repair them, you just let them die. You don't need to build them, they reproduce themselves. Just give them entertainment and food, that's not too costly and use them until they die.

They have locked the social elevator, and poor cannot get rich anymore unless they are chosen by them. Musk, Zuckerberg, Gates, they are chosen, tolerated, and approved. They are also protected. The rest have nothing to raise from their original status.

That's when Bitcoin came. Now some people from the plebeian crowd have a lot of money and have not been chosen... big problem.

I think its not necessarily about humans doing tasks better but the ones in control love having the power over other humans and watching them suffer.  They get a sick joy from it I believe.  I do agree with you about the inner circle regarding Musk, Gates, and Zuckerberg.

This shit is becoming like an FBI investigation lol, You guys want to know exactly what the money was spent on?

I wasn't asking for anything that's not already on a public ledger but your indignant response is quite telling.

On this transaction to an (I guess) exchange, we also have some BTC from

0.07 btc

to

Yes, that's what I was getting at. That address is likely a Binance deposit address because the funds end up in a known Binance wallet 1NDyJtNTjmwk5xPNhjgAMu4HDHigtobu1s.

I can't really see a transaction in BitBustah's wallet that would match his story about runescape "pool", that's why I asked.

This shit is becoming like an FBI investigation lol, You guys want to know exactly what the money was spent on? Jeez Are you going to make me disclose my drivers license, mothers maiden name, runescape account and clan members accounts as well?  Guess all I can do is laugh at this

Don't appreciate you making accusastions which basically amounts to witch hunting.  I do have some family members that use this forum and have also pooled funds before with my runescape clan members to cover our event expenses.  I only have one forum account and I am free to send merit to anyone that I want if I believe the post is good enough.

How did your family/clan members ended up giving you their private keys?

Its not rocket science................ Copy Paste Send, Import. Much Difficulty, Such wow

Are you saying that 12 people decided to give your their private keys instead of just sending bitcoins to you? I find this hard to believe.
I didn't say that they gave me their private keys, I did share the wallet with a few family members of mine ( I won't say who),  rest was runescape clan members and I told them how they could earn some btc for our clan so gave them addresses of the electrum wallet so we had our funds pooled.

I understand that it is basically just my word vs whatever you guys want to believe at the end of the day.

electrum is super easy to export and sweep, maybe difficult for a noob but thats off topic.

For sure nobody has 10 random friends that want to join on the same thing, at the same time, on the same forum with the same wallet.

They are obvious alts.

The question is for the others accounts, they are now used on relevant signatures and if I will tag them all they he probably will be kicked out.

So even if maybe has no cheated with the very high-rank accounts... (I'm still looking at the history of these accounts) does he deserve a tag on every account?

19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 07, 2019, 04:36:18 PM

2015-16 72 games , 2016-17 66 games , 2017-18 48 games
With that stats, that is not helpful to any team, although in the later season his points averaged has increase.

This is why a lot of hardcore Knicks fan are so mad with the management behind it.
Porzingis stats was not that bad. There are worse things that happened with other players out there.
Plus, you can never have that kind of tall guy again with a great shooting capability and defensive awareness.
This kind of guys are rare. Nowitzki and Durant, that is why these two never got a lower salary. They are super rare.
Maybe it wont happen again in the next 10 years to have that kind of unique player.
Why let him go for this:
Dennis Smith Jr., Deandre Jordan, Wesley Matthews
Porzingis can do what this three can, maybe better and it will just be one seat for the entire roster.  Grin

Knicks have been terribly run since 2000, they did have that lucky finals run as the 8th seed in 1999 but ended up losing to the Sours.  That whole ordeal with Isiah Thomas and Stephon Marbury was terrible, they were threatening to bring up dirt on each other.  The carmelo era which was a total letdown, the Jeremy Lin saga that brought them more hype but they didn't get much out of it.   Phil Jackson didn't do much except command a big salary for his "championship experience".  Most fans want Dolan to sell the team already and let someone else run it.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheaters . who caused the cryptocurrency to go down on: September 07, 2019, 04:31:24 PM
What do you think about the project that spent a lot of money to advertise but was taken advantage of by cheater, I saw a person who created a lot of accounts to cheat and eat over 5000 $, there are really a lot of very good projects. but it is these fraudsters that cause those projects to die. I think there needs to be a company specializing in combating fraudsters. Cryptocurrency can grow

There are cheaters in every business, its not something you can prevent.  From Fifa officials rigging big matches to retail employees stealing from their place of work.  Its just human nature for a lot of people to want more and it will never be completely prevented.
