 oh man you are hero member, if that account isnt bought you should have some experience how crypto works. I can assure you it is not bought. I used to own a faucet and stuff loooooong time ago... I used to be positive like you, but now I am not. When I started mining I made 3 euro a day with just 1 GPU. For me it has never been this bad. The world has changed, that's why I think BTC won't rise that much anymore. It's not a bad thing -crypto will never die, but for me it is not making me enough money anymore. Good thing is I have a few GPUs for when I buy my Oculus.  I'm certainly going to keep some good gpu's for VR when I decide call it quits with gpu mining. Great minds think alike. Is the Oculus still the best on the market atm? |

Of course, you should stop mining if you are losing money paying electricity, obviously is better to put the amount of money you will spend directly into coins.
Anyway even right now, and the profitability is worst that when you posted, with a cheap energy you can mine with some profits.
We are not getting rich, but we keep everything running so that is ready for the next bull run.
I don't believe in the next bull run. I hope BTC will reach 10k euro again, then I'll start mining. |

Testing ahashpool vs blazepool, current profit .bats (not 24hr actual) with a 5% switch and 30s interval, each with a 6 x 1070 rig, they are overclocked the same, 75%/100/500, but have slightly different hash rates due to different models in each, but fairly close. I had to disable keccak on blazepool bc it kept showing the profit as orders of magnitude off.
Currently about a day into the test, the btc/24hr is approximately the following:
blazepool - 0.0018384
ahashpool - 0.0015329
So currently blazepool is winning by about 20% 1 day in. I'll try to keep going for at least a few days. Hopefully the rigs stay online the same, I've had occasional trouble with them hanging up every once in a while, can't figure out why, which would skew the results.

Thank you for testing on Blazepool. How many cards are you running and did you include the nemos benchmarking times in that 9 hrs? Judging an autoswitching miner along with an autoswitching pool with 9 hours of data without comparison to any identical setup with other pool during the same timeframe is kind of unfair. We welcome everyone to do a little more systematic testing. Afterall, it's really for your benefit and the community's benefit too to investigate deeper.

Not dissing your pool. Love the design. I can see a lot of efford went into it. Took me hours for Nemos to end benching. For me the earnings are too low, but that's not because of your pool; It's because of the times we live in right now. |

If a 6 card rig does 0.00179 daily in BTC, after 3 years that = 2 BTC. If BTC stays at the current level $8200 USD/BTC that is $16,400 from a SINGLE RIG.
Sell your rig today for $4K and you miss out on $12,400 if the currency STAYS FLAT. Possibly miss out on even more if BTC/LTC/XVG or whatever you diversify in goes up in value.
That's the difference between us. I don't believe in this crypto thing like I used to. Again, I hope I'm wrong. |

Strange that there is no ready to go system to check if a teamviewer ID is not online or chrome remote desktop control API or app to check if an host is online or not.
I think is very simple but I searched nothing found for now.

You mine and hold when its not producing, the coins you mine now could go up 20-40-100% when you decide to sell them. Its just like someone who has a Gold Mine, they mine 365 days a year 24 hours a day even if Gold is low, because some day its value will go back up and they can then sell what they mined earlier. I'm mining alot of XVG /LUX / DGB / MDC
"could" or not. How many people bought BTC when it was 18k because it "could" go up even more? A lot. Will it reach that price again, it "could". And if so, it "could" take months, perhaps even years. The world has changed the last year. Goverments are trying to get control by new laws, taxes, ... They even go as far as cutting off the power. Hackers steal coins, coins are being forked into other coins, ICOs rip people off, ... It's not how it used to be. I would say this is the worst time for altcoins ever. From the deepest of my heart I hope you are right when you say things "could" get better.. I made ROI for my humble rig. If the value of BTC goes up, I will earn some nice money. But at this time, it's pennies. I have a deadline set for myself. If earnings won't be better, I'll sell my rig. My choice. (I've seen others saying thesame, so I know I'm not the only one here) |

@BitBustah You probably know the math more than I do. Generally speaking, if your electricity rate is not outrageous, GPU mining is still profitable even though it's not dream-like as in December17. Just no idea how people justify buying 1080Ti's for 800-1000 dollars these days. Yeah... I invested 2000 euro in GPUs.. I'd rather wait to mine when the earnings a good instead of mining when they are bad. I'm aiming for a lifespan of 4 years so... Rather 4 good years than bad.  |

@BitBustah I just ran another benchmark session. The latest Nemos does benchmark longer than the duration set in the bat file. Mine is running for 7 minutes now and counting even though interval is set to 300. It should eventually complete.
APIs are closed at the moment.
Another request.. Please please please also offer the earnings in EUR on the wallet page. Can't be that hard to program. |
