the earth is about 59billion billion years old and I do not know exactly what will be the correct answer for it as you can find it on google but I know one think due to evolution we are here today

Well, probability math and cause and effect say that evolution doesn't work.

And regarding the age of the earth, you are wrong. You are off by 5 minutes.

Cool

The math you showed had nothing to do with evolution.
Read up on what it is

It has already been used for other scams, so sure it can be used for God scam too.

204  Economy / Reputation / Re: Douglus should remove cryptodevil from DT due to conflict of interest on: September 25, 2016, 06:41:20 AM
Solution to the problem:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust

Just enter

~cryptodevil

and whoever else you want to exclude

End of problem

This removes the problem for you. However trust is meant for other people to see, and you ignoring a guy won't make them see anything different.

I think most of the people that have been here a while have made their own trust list long ago. Over time you learn who you can trust or not. Default is pretty much just there so the newcomers have something to start with
205  Other / Meta / Re: Should we change our passwords? on: September 12, 2016, 07:17:29 PM
Don't change it too often. The more paranoid members on the dt list might mark your account as sold or hacked

207  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: September 12, 2016, 06:47:26 PM
Another reason why some atheists hate religion is, they want to be first. They want to look good.

Scientists and astronomers just know that there are aliens out there somewhere. It is only logical to conclude this, considering all the space that is out there.

But many ancient religions have talked about angels, or their like, thousands of years ago. The ancient peoples didn't exactly understand outer space like we do, but they understood the aliens. There are even those ancient religions that have knowledge of the Nephilim... descendants of some powerful aliens that visited earth long ago, and mingled their DNA with human DNA.

Scientists are upset that the ancients knew all about aliens. So, they try to downplay this ancient knowledge so that they can be first. In their attempts at being first, they try to ignore God, and say He doesn't exist. But guess what? The ancient peoples were right about aliens, so why wouldn't they be right about God?

Atheists... such a group of smart people in some ways, and so ignorant in other ways.

Cool

Only ignorant for trying to reason with the likes of you fairy-tale believers.

When it comes right down to it, the only reasoning atheists do is faith based in the things that they stupidly believe. Oh, sure. They have lots of "compartmental" logic about the things that they believe, but the whole premise of many of their beliefs is totally ridiculous. And when you show this to them, they claim that the users of REAL logic are

fairy-tail believers. [ Grin ]

I mean, look at the three major Big Bang Theories and the 4 major Black Hole Theories. None of these theories are compatible with any of the others. Yet, because they have so many theories, Big Bang and Black Hole just have to be true. How stupid can you get?

Yet, when you throw real, factual scientific laws at them, like cause and effect, complex universe, and universal entropy, they ignore the proof that God exists as shown by these three things. Rather, they go about trying to use non-factual theory to prove that the facts are not facts.

What a bunch of blind, intelligent, morons these atheistic scientists are!

Cool

Spoken just like Jesus!!!

Oh, wait.

so, you are going to convert, because you have no science that can refute it.

Cool

Still lying about sience

Oh, I am sure I make mistakes about the science that I speak or write, here and there. But, unlike you, most of what I write or speak is truth. You wouldn't know one way or the other, however. It is shown by the fact that you can't use science enough to even start to refute anything I say.

Cool
You still haven't linked to the whitepaper that proves it.
No whitepaper, no sience

What? Is your birth certificate your white paper? Some description. Maybe you don't exist.

Cool

Maybe  or maybe not. Its irrelevant. Show the evidence, or stop lying

Sin is something made up by religion to stop people from thinking.
In the real world there is no such thing

Sin is imperfection. Imperfection causes death. Not made up at all. Death is real.

Cool

What do that have to do with anything. When you are dead you are dead. Religious or not

Ah. I get it. You are talking about the fantacy world that you are not really dead, you are ending up in a better place. I am talking about the real world. You die. your brain rots, game over

All holly books is BS then you read them and not just cherry picking
217  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Christian BS on: August 30, 2016, 06:36:38 PM
Christianity is so contradictory

+1

Christians are simply unwilling to take the time to think about what they are reading in the bible, if at all.

LOL... Christians don't actually read their bible... if they read it, they would become Atheists

LOL!

That's why there are Bible classes in churches all around the world

Exactly my point... Christians need cherry picked verses read to them...

They do not read it themselves, cover to cover... or they would become atheists

When in doubt... ask google:
https://www.google.com/#q=the+fastest+way+to+become+an+atheist

Agree. I didn't really care when I was younger. A friend of mine went to a few hallelujah meetings and was "born again"
He asked me to read the bible and I did. The book is really disgusting. I have been an atheist ever since.
I talked to my friend and told him to read the book. He is also an atheist after he did it.
The things he was told about the bible in church turned out to be lies

And no I'm not going to help by quoting this time. read the damn book and maybe you will see the light
I have many times. That's why I'm an atheist

You literally just said you are willing to stake your future on what you read in a book that you don't even believe in. REKT.

Yup. the book fiction. Its crap. the God exist only in you nightmares. He is just as real as the easterbunny.

However, science and nature show that God is the great reality.

Cool

Again. Science have never proven a all mighty sky-daddy

But you can use the things of science to prove the existence of God.

Cause and effect, complex universe, and universal entropy all exist, and science affirms them. If you took one of them away, we would have either no universe, or a completely different universe. Combined, they show God. But since you don't WANT to acknowledge that God exists, you won't take the time to understand how science proves He exists.

However, nature shows that God exists. Complex machinery isn't built without intelligence. And the most complex machinery of all is found in nature and its existence.

Cool

Show me the paper.
You said a while ago that science works thru engineering nowadays.
That's true, but to prove the engineering, they have to write it down so other scientists can test it.
That is called a peer rewired paper.
Show me the link to the paper where they prove it

Imagine that you wanted to see that air exists, from a scientific standpoint. There is no paper for thousands of fundamentally known things of the universe.

The scientific evidence that God exists is fundamental. Probably no other paper has been written than the unscientific writings that I am doing here, and those of scientists who show that cause and effect, complex universe and universal complexity are real.

You can figure it out for yourself by taking the papers that show the three, and combining them to show God.

However, nature shows God by the fact that it is machinery, as science is expressing every day.

Cool

There is zero evidence that god excist. Even if you proved that evolution is wrong, the age of the earth and so on, it still wouldent proove a almighty sky-daddy. Science dont say. "I don't understand iot, therefor God". They seek answers. We tried to live in a christian world. Its called the dark ages.
Christianity is the enemy of humanity

Before anyone sees something, he doesn't know that it exists. Putting all religion aside, science proves that God exists. I will explain with the example of the pool/billiards professional.

Somewhere during a game of pool, a professional pool player looks at the pool balls scattered on the pool table. Then he says, "I am going to tap the cue ball, which will hit ball x, which will hit ball xx, which will hit ball xxx, which will hit ball xxxx into the corner pocket over here." Then he does it. Few people can do this on a regular basis.

In the beginning of the universe (The universe had a beginning because if it didn't, all-pervading entropy would have reduced it to no complexity by now.), electron x hit electron xx, electron xx hit electron xxx, electron xxx hit electron xxxx, etc., right on down to the present, with countless numbers of hits. And electrons weren't the only thing. All sorts of atomic and sub atomic and energy waves and who-knows-what-else are there doing the same thing, from the beginning right down to the present. The result that we see today is complexity all around, and especially in the intelligence and emotion of mankind.

The universe is countless numbers of times greater than the professional pool player in the complexity it has produced.

When we look around in nature, we see nothing that could have caused the universe. More importantly, we see nothing that could have caused life, and especially intelligence and emotion. Yet these all exist because of cause and effect from the distant past. Whatever produced the universe, life, intelligence and emotion, must have been a great "pool player" to have set these things going in the distant past.

We have no evidence of anything happening spontaneously in the universe. Many things look spontaneous, but they were really caused by something else. This means that there is no random. No random means that everything was set up to run the way it does. Whatever set the universe up to run the way it does, in the face of entropy, so that after thousands of years of cause and effect, it still produces intelligence and emotion, must have been very great, containing a vast amount of intelligence and emotion in itself, far greater than mankind.

Look up the word "God" in the dictionary. There are many aspects. Often the first aspect contains wording like "the one Supreme Being, the creator and ruler of the universe." Since there was a beginning, and since there is great pool/billiards-like cause and effect beyond understanding, and since there is intelligence and emotion, whatever caused the universe had all this in itself. None of these things happen by random accident. We have no evidence of random accident, because universal cause and effect rule random accident out.

Whatever that "thing" was that caused the universe, did it according to intelligent plan, and with emotion. If it didn't, we wouldn't have intelligence and emotion. The definition of the word "God" in the dictionary fits whatever set the universe up. In fact, we cannot begin to understand how great of a God God is.

Most important. You won't understand this stuff without thinking about it. And you don't have to allow yourself to understand it. But if you investigate these things thoroughly, to see if they make sense, you will find God in them.

Cool

Scientifly no it wont. A all knowing skydaddy just makes more questions. Whare did it come from. Why does it not unerstand biolgy and so on.
And even if science found a God. Why Would you think it is yours and not none of the others?
the whole idea is idiotic.

You are attempting to turn God into a religion. God is not a religion. People build religions around wht they think about God. And this is exactly what you are doing.

The thing that I am doing is talking about scientific logic and examination, not religion.

Cool

There is nothing scfientific in the idea af an all-mighty skydaddy.
Its fairytales you tell to your kids to make them behave. the whole idea is idiotic
