And thanks to Rockxie, we now know, that the first batch will be !at least! 1Ph ... I don't expect lower price than 0.99$/Gh for privilege to take very first batch, so we're looking at 1,000,000$ for 1Ph so around 1666 BTC (600$ USD/BTC) minus expenses. Also question is , why we should sell 1Ghs for 0.99$, when competition is selling 1Ghs for $5 ? (I am not sure about that $5, but the point is that its much more expensive).

We should have a sub forum where you can get in contact with a fellow bitcoiner to show who will show you his city for free or tips

Great idea, not just city, but country Smiley

I just want to share some insights from my work with Kevin past 3 weeks.

Kevin is very professional person and he knows what he's doing. He was very friendly, helpful and patient during whole process. I learned a lot from him.

Btw if you need some special features for your company setup? Just ask him, he'll recommend you the best solution.

Also his prices are unbeatable ! Very cheap, like 50% under the normal prices everywhere else on internet.

Thank you Kevin, again.

I recommend this guy.

207  Economy / Securities / Re: [ANN] [ROCKMINER] IPO Announcement - miners using GEN3 ASICMINER chips on: March 25, 2014, 07:09:57 AM
Hi rockxie,

I understand your team need incentives to work on this project.

Would you be willing to disclose how many btc were raised by distributing the 60,000 shares?

I am sure many here would like some precise figures .

It is hard to make a judgement without the proper facts.

many thanks

He refused to answer this several times in last 24hours so the answer is they didn't bring any BTC or they bring a very few investment themselves to the table and they are just creating value out of thin air and taking 6000 BTC worth of shares for free, or almost free.

Goat got it :

He ignored it like 5 times, the answer is clearly no.

I am bit disappointed that human like this is ASICminer boardmember and used to work for ASICminer in past, this RM seems to be the next scam in bitcoin mining world which aim is to raise BTCs from Bitcoin community for 1Ph of gen3 AM chips(risk free & interest free loan) and then start trying to assemble them and retain 80% of profits for their work. I'll pass too. Sad

Then Nexus 5 with a clean Android system must be your choice .
Sony , Samsumg , Moto also have some good phones. But , sure, it will costs much more money if you choose one of those above.

You right, I have tablet from China and I am satisfied, just don't want to pay unnecessarily money for "western brands" you know, looking for parameters not brand.

most of you guys , the european , are rich.isn't it?
But I saw many western people in this forum , you know , poor .

Its not about being rich or poor, its about being smart and not sheep Wink Nevermind, I will buy it from alibaba.
209  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: March 24, 2014, 08:07:05 PM
But AM has their crazy immersion cooling setup... Why would they want to let all that investment go to waste?

Seems like something very important happened before the New Year in ASICminer and it completely changed the direction of the company.

from rockminer.com site :

^^ maybe this was a part of that internal revolution inside the ASICminer, which was discussed here in past?

also looking at Friedcat last post count :

September - 9 posts
October - 4 posts
---break---
November - 1 post : "The projected time of taping out of Gen3 is January 20."
210  Economy / Securities / Re: [ANN] [ROCKMINER] IPO Announcement - miners using GEN3 ASICMINER chips on: March 24, 2014, 07:44:59 PM
Total: 75,000 shares
Public Offering: 15,000 shares
IPO Price: 0.1BTC~0.15BTC/share

You are asking for around 2k BTC (or ~$1million) to investors and you will retain 80% of all profits, so you consider what you are bringing into the deal worth around $4million, can you precise what is worth that much that you are bringing to the table ? Will you and the other private holders work for free for a year, did you bring money to the table... ?

Also everybody is (rightfully) asking for your business plan, expected income, expenses ...

Great questions, me, redmetal, ex-trader, coldguy, spinoff were asking something very similar. But Rockxie went offline, so maybe we'll get answer tomorrow before IPO, or not. This piece of information is very crucial before any investment into RM.

@Bonam : Beautiful calculations, I did something similar myself. I will add one more thing :

1500 BTC from this offering = ~1.68PH of AM gen3 chips ... the manufacturing target is 6-10PH year, so RM need to do only 4-6 cycles (3-2months for cycle... its possible). So what exactly are we crowd funding here? Why they need our BTCs? For 1st order of batch 1 AM gen3 chips?

@Adrian-x : Thanks Smiley
211  Economy / Securities / Re: [ANN] [ROCKMINER] IPO Announcement - miners using GEN3 ASICMINER chips on: March 24, 2014, 04:16:49 PM
If we purchase IPO shares, then we are using real BTCs to invest in the company. If rockxie yourself or your partners are giving shares to your own, we should know how many shares are you valuing your work/time/energy/etc.

Yeah, I mean ... I don't care if you guys took some shares(reasonable amount) for your idea, work, assembly line, rent of building, R&D, materials, just give us the numbers. And how many BTC left from private round(with proof).

216  Economy / Securities / Re: [ANN] [ROCKMINER] IPO Announcement - miners using GEN3 ASICMINER chips on: March 24, 2014, 02:47:36 PM
Thanks, one more thing. Some math here :

We're talking about 75 000 shares, (60 000 private and 15 000 public).

... so RM should have 7500 BTCs in IPO address after sold-out IPO. 6000 from private investors and 1500 from us. One great feature of the blockchain is that is an ultimate public ledger. So the question is, can you provide the proof, that you raised 6000 BTC in private round? I just don't want to see, that you're giving shares for free to you or your friends. Shareholders are equal, right? After that we can control flow of money in company, how much will go for chips orders, how many for other expenses etc, very transparent way, thanks to blockchain.
217  Economy / Securities / Re: [ANN] [ROCKMINER] IPO Announcement - miners using GEN3 ASICMINER chips on: March 24, 2014, 11:13:03 AM
Right on time Rockxie. I am interested in this offering and I'm planning to invest some BTCs into your operation. Therefore I have few questions for you, if you are not comfortable to answer them, doesn't matter, just write that you don't want to answer.

1. Can you provide your real identity to us?
2. Where is Rockminer located? In which jurisdiction registered? And location of manufacture?
3. How can you be so sure, that AM gen3 chips will meet expected performations, when they are not tested yet? Why not wait for official specs of gen3 chips and release IPO after that?
4. What is your backup plan, if AM gen3 will not meet expected performance?
5. Why you split ASICminer into 2 companies? What's the story behind this?
6. I read, that you are also interested in self mining, what is the expected size of Rockminer mining operation? Do you want to use immersion cooling or air cooling?
7. Do you plan to offer mining solutions for large industrial mining farms and custom datacenter solutions?
8. What about transparency of sales and shareholders audit? How do we know how many miners RM sell? The addresses for payments will be available to public?

Thanks Rockxie, that's all for now :-)

219  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: March 23, 2014, 07:01:42 PM
Cheap sharez ...
Cheap shares? 0.003 is round3 IPO price(after 0.001 and 0.0025), its not cheap. This is maybe the last chance for some small holders to exit before this go under 0.003 for a long time. So glad I jump out from this earlier Smiley So many red flags about this. Maybe I will buy-in later again, if NEO will be able to make profit ... if ever. Good luck
I would try to get a refund on that crystal ball of yours if I were you. Last sale was 600 @ 0.00412996 BTC. So yeah totally under 0.003!  Roll Eyes

You can kiss my ... ehm ... crystal ball Kiss

220  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: March 23, 2014, 01:57:24 PM
Would rocksie delivering in March equal "mass delivery"? Or are we talking sample chips quantites?
>>>
The sample miner will be availble in April and the chips would be AM's Gen3.
specification: AM gen3 chips, 40nm, 1TH, 500W.
