The rock miner ipo is only offering a pretty small amount of shares to the public(approx 20%). I think Rockxie should disclose if other board members/bitfountain have an interest in the remaining 60,000 shares held outside of the public offering or if it is just him.

I predict that AM will get out of mining altogether, and will move to a B2B chip seller.
It is a possibility but we will need to wait for Friedcat to make an announcement to that effect

Seems like something very important happened before the New Year in ASICminer and it completely changed the direction of the company. from rockminer.com site : In November 2013, the team of ROCKMINER is founded with members who have rich experiences in software and hardware R&D, production and sale. ^^ maybe this was a part of that internal revolution inside the ASICminer, which was discussed here in past? also looking at Friedcat last post count : September - 9 posts October - 4 posts ---break--- November - 1 post : "The projected time of taping out of Gen3 is January 20."

I hope ASICMINER has like 1 PH/s online hashing for shareholders before Rockminer gets 1 single chip.

Too expensive apparently. 6. I read, that you are also interested in self mining, what is the expected size of Rockminer mining operation? Do you want to use immersion cooling or air cooling?
Mainly are cooling, immersion cooling is too expensive.

Is renting a massive datacenter to air cool 1MW worth of hardware really better than a nice little efficient immersion cooled datacenter that can fit in a storage container? FC already said the immersion cooled datacenter will be used and it will be more than 1PH. That is in addition to the air cooled datacenter and franchising.

Mabsark, how is that even relevant. Rockxie was talking about himself not implementing immersion cooling because it is expensive. _mr_e was referring to AsicMiner, who already has immersion cooling already setup and ready to go. Your answer is the biggest non-sequitur I've seen in 2014 so far. Congrats.

Rockxie said immersion cooling is too expensive so that would be a very valid reason not to use it. I suggest you pay more attention to what you read.

Rockxie Pays AM for Chips and we get a dividend Then Rockminer pays out the dividend from those chips to its holders Dividend Initial dividend: depends on the chips delivery date of ASCMINER ,in May around. Total Amount of Dividend: the profit after deducting the profits retained within ROCKMINER. Time and Frequency for Dividend: Dividends will be paid out on Wednesday every two weeks.

And it is not like some random shady company asking for funds out of the blue. This is a verified reseller of AM hardware.

For me it looks like AM is not willing to issue profits as dividends to the shareholders. So they set up another company, which is maybe RM, holding 80% of RM's shares. Then they sell the chips to RM in a lower price, which means lower dividends as AM's shareholders would expect. Then the margin would be totally at RM's side.
======Everything above is only my assumption.======
Unless there are other companies than RM are also purchasing chips from AM, then I would highly doubt there is benefits tunnelling behind the scene.

Why do people assume FC is out to pull a fast one? Must I remind everyone that after collecting 20,000 btc during IPO, AM proceeds to pay out 200,000 btc in dividends alone. Financial reports are public and there is no trickery going on. And what makes you assume RM is the only customer for gen3 chips? I assume every asic hardware manufacturer will be using AM's chips soon.
