Unbelievable score by Pakistani girls! The target is big enough for them to defeat India girls for the first time (not sure). I mean look at the way these khawatin's batted. They only lost four wickets but they beat the shit out Indian bowlers.

I was checking the strike rate of Pakistani batters and was surprised to see Naseem's strike rate which was 172 and my response was WOW! What went wrong with Indian bowlers is still a mystery as woman are Grin. I missed out when Pakistan were batting but now I am watching it live now.

Edit: I don't think Pakistan can defeat India after watching our girls going after Pakistani bowlers.

Users of Metamask can now buy crypto using the mobile app. Metamask has integrated onramp.money’s API on its app that supports various local payment methods including UPI. I tried to make a purchase of INR 1000 worth of ETH and it gave me a quote. At the moment you can only purchase Ethereum and USDT from the app. The processing fee is not that much but you cannot ignore the staggering network fee and I also felt that the rate are high.

Venkatesh Prasad is not happy with KL Rahul

Found it on Twitter yesterday and I thought of sharing it here.

In my opinion, he is correct and none of the veterans are questioning this guy's ability to bat on any format. His selection is purely based on favoritism and not performance. What do you guys think?

MOST WICKETS IN TEST BY INDIAN

  • Ravichandran Ashwin - 451 - Ranked 2nd
  • Ravinder Jadeja - 246 - Ranked 8th
Skipper Rohit mentioned something really interesting after the match, he basically said that these guys put a lot of pressure on him regarding who should bowl first and from what end as they are too good and want to touch milestones as quickly as possible lol. Tells you a lot about how competitive this duo is and still very good friends.

LOL! Going into the history book matters more to players in there short career span. How Rohit has been handling these guys shows how good his management skills are as a captain. I am not sure if other captains in the past had face such problems. This also proves how good these bowlers have been since they started their career.

I never expected the match to end on day 3. I was in the impression that Australia will hold on till day 4. No doubt this match showed how poor Australian batters are against spin bowling. Ashwin & Jadeja were the two pillars of Indian team that made this incredible win look so easy.

Congratulations to team India on defeating Australia by an innings and 132 runs.

The last statement summarizes your attitude. You are calling PCB as beggars.

I wonder if any of the smaller boards (outside the pig-4) have a favorable opinion towards the BCCI. CSA and WICB may enter into deals with them, but even they know that dominance from the BCCI is not good. Here in this case, there are no excuses. Asia Cup was awarded to Pakistan, since they are one of the full members from Asia. So they have every right to host the tournament. The BCCI didn't had a problem when the tournament hosting rights were awarded. Their issue started only a few months back.
@elevates is not making this statement out of thin air tho. Sharriff Junior actually said this recently.

That statement became a huge issue in Pakistan politics and he also got brutally trolled by on social media. Ultimately he had to come out with an answer on why he meant by that statement. You can read this article to improve your GK Grin. I mean @elevates only quoted what he said. What can you then expect from PCB it is still based in Pakistan.

All thanks to Jadeja, Patel, Shami & Rohit India are in a commanding position in this test match. What a debut by young Murphy. This guy has a long way to go! 7 wickets in his debut match proves he is a spinner who will be now feared by big batters too in the future.

A lead of 200+ runs and the pitch now showing a lot of turns for the spinner means that this test series won't go for all 5 days. In my opinion it will end by the fourth day.
2008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 10, 2023, 10:47:13 AM
This is why he is known as Sir Jadeja. First he showed how good he can bowl and now after his half century he again proved India will need him in both test and ODI format. Axar Patel again doing his best as a batter. The confidence this guy has on himself shows with the amount of balls he has taken to score 37 runs. I think he is eyeing a half century and most probably he would get it. I still believe 150 is a good target but anything beyond it is a bonus.

The first match in ICC Women's T20 World Cup will be played today between the hosts (South Africa) and Sri Lanka at the Newlands stadium in Cape Town. South Africa is included in a tough group along with Australia and New Zealand and therefore wins against the two weak teams (Sri Lanka and Bangladesh) is absolutely necessary for them to qualify for the next round. Group B is a bit more easier, with India and England being the only strong teams (other teams in this group are West Indies, Pakistan and Ireland).

The only match I am interested in watching is on the 12th of this month. South Africa is far better as a team than Srilanka. They are also one of the world cup's favorites as the world cup is being played in South Africa, home ground advantage cannot be ruled out. The other three teams to watch out for in this tournament are Australia, England, Newzealand, and India.

Indian middle order made a match bit interesting for a while but this new partnership should calm the nerve in the Indian dressing room.

Safe to say Iyer will replace SKY in the next match, given he's completely fit and if not then Gill should get a game in the middle order.

Also won't be a bad idea if they push KL, Kohli and SKY down to lower order and replace them with Ash-Jaddu-Axar or even with Bharat.   Grin

As usual Indian middle order has been the same for all the formats. The opener or the lower middle order always comes to the rescue whenever the team needs it. Shreyas Iyer is fit and most probably SKY would be replaced by him in the next test match. At the moment the match is looking interesting.

Rohit out after a long stand. I was hoping him to score 150 but the pitch is looking pretty bad. It is not at all easy for a batter to play comfortably on this pitch. I reckon a target of 150 would be good enough for India.

Oh come on, there is no need to shit on KL today, he touched the double digits after all, that's a big improvement. Having said that he did okay today despite soft dismissal, things could've been different in case of an early wicket.
Literally Bro such stubborn attitude of KL Rahul proves him he is nothing but a shit. Did you see his face when he got out? He couldn't believe that he played that shot! I wouldn't say that he got tricked by the bowler! It is just that he was avoiding such a trick by being attentive.

What he did was taking the last over casually. He think himself as an established cricketer for India. He is the exact example of a middle class guy who got a brilliant opportunity after getting into the rich class. Thanks to his marriage to one of the richest family of Mumbai.

How can you be so lazy when you are not in the form? He simply layed down his guard as he was still over confident.

He started having that casual attitude when he started rotating his strike. I was angry when Kholi was not performing but I was happy that his defensive & will do attitude got him through. Such an attitude was a positive sign for his team mate and helped him regain the respect of his team mates. They also started believing in him and on a big day he got his form back.

Terrific start by team India which got spoiled by KL Rahul. He has consistently proven that he is a worthless piece of shit. Niether he wants to be a keeper nor can he be an agressive batter and today he proved in the second last over of the day that he has forgotten how to play defensive. I still cannot understand why he gets selected.

All he had to do was to either rotate the strike or stick to the wicket till the end of the day. He should know that there are much better batters who can replace him.

I also don't understand the logic behind sending Ashwin now. He is a batter who has always proved himself down the order. India needs batter like him when middle order suddenly collapsed down the order.
2013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 09, 2023, 08:17:13 AM

Australia in deep trouble now. Both Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne are now back in pavilion. Ravindrasingh Jadeja has taken 3 out of the 5 wickets to fall so far. The partnership between Smith and Labuschagne gave an impression that Australia may make a comeback, but then the latter got out to an unnecessary shot. Now it is Handscomb and Carey at the crease. Australia looking perilous at 109/5 and may not even manage to get to a total of 200. Looks as if the outcome of the first test has been already decided in the first two sessions of play.
Sir Jadeja at his best again! Another partnership getting destroyed before it bloomed by Ashwin. He was kind of getting desperate as he was not able get wicket. Took the crucial wicket of Carey. 6 wickets gone and Australia have managed to score 168 runs. India looking to restrict the Aussie within 250 and the way they are bowling they might be able to do it.

World number 1 and 2 batters are allowed to play well even against quality bowling  Grin lol they are at top for a reason.

So far there is no demon on the pitch as there is no inconsistent bounce or turn and batters need to apply themselves, that's what these 2 are doing.

I didn't like SKY's inclusion in the playing XI but i guess he's there for X-factor in absence of Pant. If by any chance he clicks then he can give you quick runs and that's what management is hoping.

Two wickets again in quick succession. 4 down but the real danger Smith is still playing. This match is going to be an epic one that is for sure. I am happy that MR 360 got a chance in this test match. Whether he can be as agressive as Panth we will come to know most probably by tomorrow. I also feel that if he performs then the management might  give him more responsibility like make him the VC if test team too in the coming years. At the moment on the field it looks like Rohit is the captain and Kohli is the vice captain  Grin

Well.. this is the problem for PCB. Asia Cup is organized by the ACC. So in case the BCCI pulls out of this tournament, the PCB can't retaliate by pulling out of the ICC tournaments. Then they will be liable for financial penalties imposed by the ICC. For the PCB, the best option would be to enter in to a deal with the ACC. They can swap the hosting rights with other boards who hold the right to host the future editions of the Asia Cup. Or they can move the tournament to a neutral venue and enter in to a revenue-sharing agreement.
What you suggest is ideally the best option available for PCB. Do you think PCB will agree to such settlement? Najam Sethi is still saying the same thing that Ramiz Raja was saying earlier. I do not understand what makes them think they are bigger and better than BCCI? In every juncture they have been humiliated against their argument. A small board like PCB should always comply with a big board like BCCI if they want to generate good revenue from cricket for their country.

Australia had a bad start as they lost 2 wickets in quick succession early in the match. It now seems that both Smith and Labuschagne are slowly turning the match. Indian spin is not looking that affective for now, may be after the lunch we might see some wickets taken by the spinners.

Good to see SKY and Bharat given an opportunity in this match. If KL Rahul was not selected as the VC of Indian team then I am pretty sure Shubman Gill would have been playing in today's match. India need to win all the 3 test matches in order to qualify for the Test World Cup.

Lol this pitch giving nightmares to Australian media and fans. They already started saying that this is an unfair pitch as the Australian team has 5 left-handers in their top 7 lmao.

Loving the premature comments. They should be hopeful that with such a pitch they have a more or less equal chance of winning the match.

I am telling you this pitch would be a nightmare for every batter. Knowing the Australian side I know how well they play spin. For a change, I am happy they will be experiencing a pitch suitable for the spinners. They are more accustomed to bouncy pitches whereas this pitch will test their batting skills so it will also be for Indian batters. Who wins the toss will be important on this pitch. I hope luck favors Rohit! I also have a hunch that this test match will be over before the 5th day.

@doomloop I believe that the Asia Cup will be shifted out of Pakistan and ICC will cite their current economic crisis, and in the end PCB will agree for a compensation which would be a wise choice given their current crisis.

Why would ICC intervene in a tournament that is not governed by them? Just to let you know it is not funded by ICC. It gets it revenue from broadcasting right generated through any tournament conducted by it for example Asia cup. Which country contributes more to its funding, the answer is simple India. Therefore I do not think ICC would intervene in the Asia cup.

PCB can request compensation from the ACC if the tournament is moved out of Pakistan. But I don't know whether that will be a viable option, because the ACC is not a very rich board.

I doubt PCB would get any compensation. Jay Shah would simply cite recent terror activities in Pakistan as the reason for shifting the venue. The ACC is not liable to pay any compensation. If Pakistan pulls out of ACC then it will be a big mistake as it won't get any support from other boards in this council. BTW all full members except India are going through an economic crisis. Just to let you know apart from these two countries the other full members are Srilanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.

Why are we even discussing this topic when we know what will be the outcome?

Yesterday, DK was interacting with fans on Twitter, and when asked about the biggest threat for India in the upcoming BGT. He said, Nathan Lyon and Steve Smith.

Nathan has an impressive record in tests he has already taken 436 wickets in 115 matches. In India, he has taken 34 wickets in just 7 matches. In my opinion, he is a big threat to Indian batters. Steve Smith has been good against Indian bowlers. Out of 6 test matches played in India, he has scored 660 runs which includes 3 centuries and a half-century.
