2021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin gambling is legal? on: December 02, 2017, 01:11:13 PM
Not in itself no. BTC gambling is legal as much as any other gambling is legal.

The problem are that:
-For one most of btc gambling sites aren't registered as gambling entities and don't have governmental approval.
-Even if they have, there is a duty to respect the KYC policies and definitely no gambling site do that correctly

But the truth is that nobody cares! No governement can make the link between you and your gambling so why should you care about the legal aspect of it? ^^
2022  Economy / Services / Re: JOBS & SERVICE REQUEST BOARD (Use this board to post Hiring requests) on: December 01, 2017, 09:45:51 AM
What I need done (Job Details) : I'm looking for someone to create a gambling website. Classic crypto casino but with a speciality: the site will be funded through an ICO so each owner of the new tokens will be owner of a share of the bankroll. I want to get on the casino website the current possession of tokens of each user and that the weekly (or monthly) benefits of the website are shared accordingly.

Amount I am willing to spend : Don't care. I'm in IT so I know it's expensive. I'll just ask for an explanation of the amount of work and I feel like the pricing is reasonable I can pay up to 5BTC

I need this done within (time): I got a few months

Portfolio / Experience Required : Experience is a plus but as I said I'm in IT myself so I know how to detect a fraud.

How and when I will pay :
(advance/post completion) We can separate the work in parts and I can pay for each part delivered BUT AFTER REVIEWED! I want the project to be reviewed by independant devs who will look for errors (which aren't a problem as long as you fix them) or backdoors/malware (which will lead to 0 payment and a public complaint)

Will I use escrow for payment : Sure I don't expect you to just believe me.

And OP thanks for your work, it's indeed hard to look for a service in this forest of sig campaign...

Hey man,

Just to say that this guy and this group are actually making quite a good job. Of course it hasn't been a long time so I'm not talking really about the results, but about the fact that when I said it lacked visibility and everything was hard to follow, he changed everything to make it much more clear.

The new form is really good and easier to follow, we can actually see what you're doing.

Thanks for your hard work and your honesty.

Hey!

Well I'm updating the post because I'm still looking for someone.
Don't hesitate to PM me if you're interested

Cheers
2025  Economy / Economics / Re: Obligatory: Is Bitcoin Cash A Bubble? on: November 29, 2017, 06:01:29 PM
The question here implies first to define what a "bubble" is.

I assume, when we are talking about economic bubble, we are talking about things (banking products, buildings, tulips, etc) that are becoming more and more valuable, until a breaking point. At this moment, the price given to such things is not anymore in lne with its actual value. Thus, a problem appears in the relationship demand/offer.

However, with classic economic bubbles, the things are tangible. It is actually possible to take them back. The value given is determined by real actors.

For the bitcoin, though, there is an inherent value that is determined by a line of code. So can it burst?

I truly don't know the answer to such question!
2026  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin 10.000$!!!! What's Next? on: November 29, 2017, 02:17:27 PM
Hi,

All theses issues are quite hard to discuss as for most of them, we do not have distance...

I am pretty sure some large investors (investment funds, consulting firms, and so on) are already investing in bitcoin. They would be dumb to ignore such trend. But are they gonna use it? Store it? Buy it by bulks or just low amounts? Will they affect rates by trading it?

This is hard to say. Even for them, I guess.

Regarding the question of bitcoin as a daily currency, I think many people could be interested. But many is not enough and the bitcoin community is (sadly enough) still a drop in the ocean...
2027  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: November 29, 2017, 01:46:04 PM
Large institutions, governments and major economic actors are not inclined to see the bitcoin grow... just because it does not serve their own interests.

Through bitcoin, you cannot hide your transactions anymore. Evrything is written and can be followed. And as it is "written" (coded) by many at the same time, you cannot buy/threat the actors so that your operation disappears. And this, is not compatible with they way they operate.

The question of volatility is a fake problem. They do not care about volatility, they even play on t. I mean, we have seen the effects of the subprime crisis and today, banking by-products are worse than ever, trading is made at crazy rates with any products... Volatility is their main business.

But bitcoin cannot be as what has been made cannot be hidden or deleted.
2028  Economy / Economics / Re: do you think bitcoin is controversial ? on: November 29, 2017, 01:28:20 PM
Hi,

Of course,  bitcoin is controversial!

It is a new tool, wth a community that can remain hidden behind online wallets and that has first developed on the so-called dark web. There are scams, frauds but also some actors playing with things they do not control.. and thus facing unexpected effects!

Bitcoin is new. It is under development. Therefore, it is controversial. Is it good or bad, can it be misused, etc..

Truth is that bitcoin is a new field full of opportunities. It is not "good" or "bad", it is just a currency. Its future depends on everyone's actions with it!
2029  Economy / Speculation / Re: $11k - when do you sell on: November 29, 2017, 12:43:23 PM
Hi,

The question is simple in fact: if you sell now, are you making a profit?

If so, then you can sell. Of course, your profit is potentially higher if you wait but it can also be absorbed in a sudden drop in prices. So sell when you are making a profit and buy when you think the price is low enough for you to make further profits.

Avoid waitng too long and you will avoid most huge losts.  Roll Eyes
2030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoins? on: November 29, 2017, 12:30:12 PM
Why bitcoins?

Well, because it is the "first" crypto-currency.
Because thanks to the blockchain, we my be able one day to get rid of banking institutions.
Because it is a potential huge source of development for economic theories.
Because it is still a "new" place, with many opportunities (as well as scam, I must admit)
Because it gives me a feeling of control that I don't have over traditionnal currencies.

And because I like playing with (more or less) new tech!
2031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here lives on crypto currency daily? on: November 29, 2017, 11:31:42 AM
Hi,

I have a paid job aside... but I must admit that the money I own through bitcoin is equivalent to the minimum wage in my country

Actually, Iwould have to trade it for "real" money but I could live only through bitcoin. Except that I don't because my IRL job pays waaayyy better than my trading skills!  Grin
2032  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin rising so high? on: November 29, 2017, 11:19:35 AM
Hi,

I think you can explain the rise with two factors.

First, due to the very definition of how bitcoin is created. It has to rise in value over time.
Second, it is a new playfield. People are tempted to buy, try and.. see what happens. Maybe at some point a bubble may burst but.. Traditionnal economists have actually no clue about it as the bitcoin is "new" and has specificities that are not shared by the traditionnal "real" currencies.

And last, in the real world, we have seen bubble bursting, we have observed its devastating effects on people. But unaffected people are still playing. As long as you have players, the game is on!
2033  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will fall down on december on: November 29, 2017, 10:51:00 AM
Hi,

Bitcoin is indeed rising up quite fast... but actually this has already happened in the past.
It is great to keep that in mind when you trade it...

Last, regarding december...I would say it will be quite low before New Year but.. impossible to be 100% sure!  Wink
2034  Economy / Services / Looking to hire: gambling site developper on: November 29, 2017, 10:12:14 AM
Hello everyone.

We found a first developper to handle the ICO of our project and the whole technical innovation of it.

But we're still looking for someone to work with on the construction of a gambling site.
We need someone able to CODE, not to just copy past a sold script, thank you I know how to do that...
The idea is to have a long term partnership with someone who will continue to work on the site after the launch.

Experience REQUIRED.
PM me if you're interested
2035  Economy / Services / Re: NEVER LOSE A TRADE AGAIN !! on: November 28, 2017, 07:47:11 PM
Hey!

So I'm not here to really complain as the service is free. But the problem is that you put TONS of signals and only follow those which actualy work. You don't update on a regular basis all your signals, you just say when a target is reached.

It's hard to follow the result of your advices because we can't really see what is the global result of your signal.
It's like you gamble and show ONLY the winning bets.
2036  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to Hire - ICO developper on: November 27, 2017, 09:42:04 PM
Still looking for developpers.

The project will include creation of a gambling website btw.
Yep I know that's not the original part of  the project don't worry  Wink
2037  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to Hire - ICO developper on: November 26, 2017, 11:34:40 PM
No problem for the hijack it was an important precision ^^

Just to precise: I'm looking for a developper not a project manager. I'm already fairly competent in management of IT project as it's my daily job. I lack the technical skills, not the managing/marketing skills.
2038  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to Hire - ICO developper on: November 26, 2017, 09:56:21 PM
Hey there.

I don't see what's freaking you out here. In the rest of IT world when external developers are hired by a company they're paid at the delivery. I'm an IT engineer (not a coder, on the project management side, I can code but I'm really not good at it Wink ) and that's just how the world works. That's why if you feel ready for this task we'll agree on a technical book of delivery of what should be the final product. As long as the final product fulfills the requirements the escrow must releases the funds to you.

It's exactly the same in the rest of the world: you make a contract with a dev team, they do the development and if the final product fulfill the requirements you have to pay them. Nothing wrong here. And if you're not able to draft a technical book of delivery precise enough to cover you, that means you shouldn't work on independant project from the start and just go work for a big company ^^

I can't just pay you and then hope you'll develop what I asked for, see my point?

And for the last: ICO developers are the LAST priority not the LEAST. I can't hire a development team if I don't have the idea, the target, the market study, the funds and the strategy for the ICO... That would be like hiring workers for a house before having the field and the loan from the bank xD

If you feel like you're able to do this and are interested, just tell me what guarantee you're looking for and I'll be happy to comply if I can!
2039  Economy / Services / Looking to Hire - ICO developper on: November 26, 2017, 08:00:14 PM
Hello everyone!

I'm starting to gather a team to launch a new ICO.
I've got the money, the designer and the campaign manager but we need the backbone of every IT project: the developpers.

Normally one developper should be enough but I'll also need 3 persons to check the final code for security problems.

Waiting for your PM if anyone feels up to the task.

PS. The task will be paid when everything is finished, working and checked for security problems. Funds will be put in escrow if you desire it.
2040  Economy / Services / Re: NEVER LOSE A TRADE AGAIN !! on: November 26, 2017, 07:30:03 PM
Hello there!

I've signed up to your channel and will be happy to follow you.
I've always loved trading but without being so good at it. As long as you're not a pump group I'll be happy to follow you and pay for good signals!

Cheers
