2021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Well, I just got scammed on: July 01, 2018, 12:24:42 PM
I am sorry for your lost and sharing your experience which I think will help others. However I believe you are really eager to to buy the AIGON token to the extent that you didnt check well the information about the ICO before you invest. one of the most efficient way of going about ICO before buying is to make sure you really identify the major website of the ICO before you invest. there are many ICO listing website including bitcointalk that can provide you with that information. Telegram are full of scammers that are targeting investors daily so becareful next time. in fact I will not advise investor to buy any token by simply transfering ETH directly to an address provided by someone or group of people on telegram. it is a sign of scam.
2022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign is so Tiring so as Merit on: July 01, 2018, 11:31:30 AM
Unfortunately now a lot of scammers who do not pay us coins for the work done . But there are good companies that make me a profit, for the sake of this I work here
That is the reason why bounty hunters should also do analysis before joining any campaign. just like some investors that have lost money into the hand of some Scam ICO, the bounty hunters also stand a chance of wasting there time energy promoting ICO that turn scam, do not reach milestone and so on. Just like I will also say to some of my friend doing bounty hunting.not all bounty campaign worth doing. you need to take your time and analyse the campaign and set a target for yourself if your want to earn great and above all do your job diligently. the time has passed when free token are giving to bounty hunters who do little or no work.
2023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does bitcoin need to improve? on: July 01, 2018, 10:45:05 AM
Well I do not think bitcoin is still being dethroned because all price of other altcoin are being measure in bitcoin which mean bitcoin still rocks. even ETH which seems to be the biggest altcoin has not been able to take the place of the bitcoin completely. when you look closely about bitcoin you will understand that its solely use as a digital currency compare to altcoin such as ethereum which some other services which most altcoin have be able to tap from. ETH has a feature that allow smart contract to be created with it. I believe if such improved features is added to bitcoin, it will be good idea which will bring money value and respect to the oldest crypto.
2024  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you use cryptocurrency cards? on: June 30, 2018, 01:29:18 PM
I think if we use such a card it is very good, and it is very useful for us all, and I myself am very happy to use the card because it can help for future success.
The problem is not in the use because we all know this is going to break barrier between the traditional banking and the cryptobank but the problem lies on the providers of this card. they are not interested in given out cards to unregulated cryptobank because of the issue of scam and money laundery which many have said cryptocurrency promote. when you listen to many peoples comment here on the thread you will realized nobody have said it emphatically that they are making use of the card despite the fact many ICO goal are centered around debit card provision. AMON, MONACO, kurecoin and many other ICO are still targeting this project
2025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook removes/Unbans Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency Ads on: June 30, 2018, 10:12:30 AM
facebook are just being scared of bad omen poluting their platform with scam project. no serious organisation will want to help criminals promote scam on their platform. It is painful how some pyramid scheme scammers have spend their tentacle into creating scam initial coin offering which has led to some of this ban. This is true a sad moment especially for some ICO that really have great idea and comcept because they will not be welcome on such social media platform where targeted investors may be reach. however maybe after crowdsales and a working products and services is already in place then they can start making use of ads in such platform for further growth.
2026  Economy / Speculation / Re: why bitcoin is volatility? on: June 30, 2018, 10:01:29 AM
Bitcoin is a digital currency and not a scheme that you can put much or less trust. just like the normal stock exchange where commodity are being traded, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are being traded as well but due to unregulated nature of the cryptocurrency exchange market, the price of the crypto are very volatile. in just few hours the price of a crypto may be double or dropped greatly.however the price of crypto asset is influence by demand and supply. it means when a particular token buy order (demand) is higher than the sell order (supply), the market price of the token will increases. the price may fall again when traders are selling than buying the token

2028  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The anonymous structure of the blockchain technology encourages crime? on: June 26, 2018, 08:50:32 PM
well it may be easy to carry huge amount of currency from one country to another but at the same time you should know many blockchain based ecosystem are now doing kyc verification which means identity of user can be shown if such person has commited crime using the blockchain technology. However many of this drug dealers and money launders do not know much about crypto. they always want quick and save deal so use of cryptocurrency to commit crime may not interest them as much
2029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign are wastage of time? on: June 26, 2018, 08:38:55 PM
you only waste time and not money. investors lose both most especially when the project turn scam. doing bounty campaign do not guaranty at all time that you will get cool pay. sometime you will even do bounty and will be paid in token but you wait endlessly for the token to be list in exchange. from my own understanding, bounty is not as lucrative as it is before because many people are now coming to do bounty even many investors now are doing bounty to add up to their earning.

2031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to stop using Bitcoin as a form of investment and start using it as payment on: June 25, 2018, 10:07:45 AM
well if you think of using it for making payment then it now depend on what you want to buy and how much more are bitcoin being used as form of payment just like credit card and paypal. bitcoin is still struggling to be used as form of payment because many people still think it still lack feature of been used as a legal tender. volatility is another reason why some merchant will not want to use bitcoin as payment processor because they are also in big risk holding bitcoin especially when the price goes down
2032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do companies like Apple, Microcoft do not enter the crypto currency market? on: June 25, 2018, 10:00:25 AM
big company do not want to enter into cryptocurrency because they do not want to involve in something they may not have total control of. safety is another important reason why big companies like apple and microsoft will not use crypto. they fear risk of losing customers and also losing money as well especially when the coin are being banned in some country where they have big market but I think I have read somewhere in the forum that xbox is accepting bitcoin. I do not know maybe this is true anyway.
2033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Losing your life savings on BTC? Hurting everyday? on: June 25, 2018, 09:55:13 AM
we all take risk in life but when we take risk let us take a smart one. investing all your life saving is not wise. I will you cope with difficulty that comes when you lose your money. A few month ago I read a comment about an ICO investors on telegram talking about How He lost his retirement money on Denaro Scam. he felt depressed and he was thinking of suicide. for me I do not think it is a wise decision to do that. putting all your saving on bitcoin is not ok as well
2034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% OF ALL AIRDROPS ARE SCAMS!!!!! on: June 19, 2018, 04:06:04 PM
I only participated in two airdrop before I decided to drop interest in airdrop. POSTOkEN and VNC are the two airdrop. postoken really paid well but the token is history today. I actually sold my token before the project turn to scam. VNC is complete waist of time because the owe project died before before final distribution. some problem I have realized about airdrop is that (1) most airdrop are managed by newbie that know little or know information about token distribution (2) most airdrop project have website that is under-developed (3) many of them do not even have a particular objective. all they will always tell you is that token will be listed in exchange and distribution will be in phases.
2035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What factors scare others from investing into bitcoin? on: June 19, 2018, 03:54:45 PM
Bitcoin has come a long way and come really come to stay. As a matter of fact, anytime some people who know nothing about bitcoin are introduce to bitcoin about how bitcoin works, they channel all their attention to whoever is passing the information to them by listening attentively. However, after developing the interest in bitcoin, they quickly revert their interest in bitcoin the moment they hear of the volatile nature of bitcoin, thereby, deciding not to invest into it anymore. Guys, what are some other factors that scare people from investing into bitcoin?
horrible past experience might be another reasons some people are scared of investing in bitcoin. A guy saw me browsing crypto trading platform yesterday in a cafe. he came close to me and ask 'are people still investing in bitcoin?' i told him yes but he responded by saying he stop trading and investing in bitcoin because he lost his initial investment. another reasons I have discover is past experience with ponzi schemes that pay using crypto but later turn to scam. such people that fall victim will not even listen to you when you wanna talk about bitcoin to them not to talk about investing with their money.
2036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the ERC20 smart contact an advantage over bitcoin ? on: June 19, 2018, 03:44:24 PM
If smart contracts start to become a major selling point, Bitcoin can simply implement them on another layer.  But for now, all people seem capable of doing with ERC20 is churning out a bunch of worthless crapcoins.  Not exactly a feature I'd like to see duplicated in Bitcoin.  People need to learn how to use smart contracts to create something useful before it's worth expending any large quantity of development talent on supporting them in BTC.  When more sensible and legitimate applications become common for smart contracts, perhaps people might start to care about it a bit more.
many project using blockchain technology seems to be abusing this smart contract feature. nearly all ico whitepaper objectives are subject around this feature. However I still believe we shall still see some more intelligent project that will actualy bring more hit to ERC 20 smart contract. I read about VelixID project. they are creating an identity managment data base using smart contract features of ethereum. I am looking forward to see how well the project goes.
2037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Punishment for ICO for being scammed. on: June 19, 2018, 03:31:36 PM
Is there any posible way to filter who are going to make an ICO to be able to know if there are scam or not? And is there any bodies of law that would be able to punish them once they turn into scam. And what punishment should be given upon committing such the crime?
depending on the country of the origin. of course there are bodies that prosecute people for scam and I believe it is in every country but tacing online scam using law available in the country where the ICO is located is another problem. cyber crime is one of the most difficult crime to trace especially when cryptocurrency promote anonymity. while few ICO may tell you where their company is being registered, many of them will not even want investors to know their address so you may not try to check if truely they are registered.

depending on how much informations investors know about the management behind the project. Image, Videos and written document are few of those way you can extract information. some countries in EU have good law in dealing with scammers if you have credible information about any suspect but one problem about some investors is that they pay little attention to such information until their money is taken away from them. also these information above can give you an insight in knowing legit ICO. many scam ICO will use fake images and most time they do not have videos that reveal the real Identity of any of the founders. Scam ICO like doing Video using cartoons and converted image and text as illustration. most of their whitepaper are poorly written and can be sometime full of playgiarism. in fact the first thing I expect any investor to do is to download the whitepaper and use plagiarism checker software to evaluate it. google also have an online image recognision platform (http://image.google.com/). such platform can be use to search for presence of similar images across the internet.
2039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Got my rewards for first successful bounty campaign I joined on: June 18, 2018, 02:03:00 PM
OK... I checked the XPST prices, and you seems to have received more than 1 ETH worth of tokens. Congratulations! Such good bounties occur only once in a blue moon. Convert your tokens to ETH using Idex or Etherdelta, and enjoy!!!

Thank you! Yes because the current rate is 1ETH = 10,000 XPST, my luck to earn this amount from bounty campaign, a good luck for a newbie like me for me to work more harder. Cheesy
Congratulation. the more you join bounty campaign the more you learn good lesson. do not forget that earning good money in bounty this day take smartness. very soon you will understand not all bounty campaign worth join. you need to research well and see the one that pay well. the fact that a bounty is given millions of token doesnt translate such amount of token is equivalent to large sum of ETH. you may have more than 100 token asset in your wallet and their sum total worthless than someone with just 10 token in his wallet. ones again congratulation.
2040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.. on: June 18, 2018, 01:51:09 PM
it is hard but still better than losing money if you unfortunately invest in such ICO. I have a friend that lost her retirement to Denaro Scam. finding bounty that pay well this days is not easy not to talk of legit one. it seems the ICO SCAM is increasing every yearly. even some campaign managers that we all know they have good successfully complete ICO are now mistakenly promoting some ICO that turn to scam. one thing bounty hunters should have at the back of their mind is that campaign for ico doesnt me you will always get paid. some ICO are now locking bounty hunters token for a long period of time now.
