2021  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies replace fiat currencies on: August 08, 2021, 10:27:23 AM
I don't think that cryptocurrencies can replace fiat money in the future. And they have no such aim to do so either. Cryptocurrencies are good alternatives to fiat. Their field of usage is not much widespread for now and they are one of the good options to invest into. And I think that it will go on like this forever unless the market is gone forever.
2022  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin the most Bullish crypto of the moment on: August 08, 2021, 10:20:05 AM
Bitcoin is definitely the most bullish cryptocurrency in the market now. Reaching $45k in such a short time since this run started is really great to see. This also shows clearly that the price can achieve even higher levels in the near future. For example, $50k level seems to be quite easy to be reached now.
2023  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Bullish At The Moment on: August 07, 2021, 10:16:13 PM
If this is not bullish, I don't know what is.  Grin  Before this run, Bitcoin price was still stuck between $30k and $35k. But it has a great pace right now and the price reached nearly $45k today. We are getting even closer to $50k day by day. It's a matter of time that Bitcoin price goes over $45k. And I don't think that there is any reason behind this rise. It's just about Bitcoin's volatility.
2024  Economy / Economics / Re: Bullish: 'Vast Majority' of Institutions Will Own Crypto by 2026: Fidelity on: August 07, 2021, 10:11:02 PM
It is not surprising news actually. Tesla helped many countries to start investing into Bitcoin. And companies are continuing to do so still. They want to try their luck and increase their investments in time. I think the reason why companies are investing into cryptocurrency is mostly this. If they didn't have any profit in this, they wouldn't bother making any investment.

This is bullish news also but this kind of news don't affect the coin prices too much anymore.
2025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you protect your Bitcoin from market volatility? on: August 07, 2021, 10:05:53 PM
To be honest, I also don't think that anybody can protect themselves from the market volatility fully. Because nobody can know when the price will dump or skyrocket. There is no sign for it. Some people believe in some positive or negative news about Bitcoin to affect the price. But it's not the situation anymore. Bitcoin is stronger than before. So, you can be careful until some point but after that it is about luck.
2026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth vs bnb on: August 07, 2021, 04:30:12 PM
It is not easy to predict but my favorite altcoin in the next bull run is definitely Ethereum. Because it manages to continue increasing while even Bitcoin is struggling. With Ethereum 2.0, my expectations will be even higher. It wouldn't be surprising to see the price reaching $5k or maybe even $6k in this year.
2027  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are people buying BTC @ $27000+ idiots? on: August 07, 2021, 04:26:06 PM
No investor can be seen as idiots just because they don't buy from the levels you buy. Buying from a low level is always more profitable but it doesn't mean that people who buy from a high level are doing wrong. They can also make a lot of profit in a long time period. Maybe they will make less than the buyers who bought the dip but they will.
2028  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin doesn't care about Tesla and Amazon on: August 07, 2021, 04:21:49 PM
Yeah, Bitcoin price doesn't care much about Tesla or any other company now. It doesn't fluctuate too much like the old times when these companies make a statement like they are going to hold Bitcoin or to accept payments with Bitcoin. I like that the market is getting more resistant against these kind of manipulations.
2029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never sell your Bitcoin? on: August 07, 2021, 04:16:48 PM
Having a strategy like "never selling" is very dangerous. Because then, there is no meaning in holding Bitcoin. HODLing doesn't mean that you will never sell your profit. It means that you make a long term investment. And you set a price goal for yourself. When Bitcoin price reaches it, you sell some or all of your profit. That helps you not to do stupid things.
2030  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin August 2021 Target? on: August 06, 2021, 10:30:23 PM
When it comes to my prediction about Bitcoin price, I agree with you on that we will see at least $50k in this month sooner or later. Because the market is having one of its great times again. I think that this may not be a bull run but it may be a nice rally. And I'm hoping to see this rally until the end of the month at least.
2031  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: August 06, 2021, 10:26:18 PM
I think that money is an important factor one to be even more happy in their life. I think that rich people are happier than poor ones as they have a lot of money. Rich people also have tough times in their life but they are still rich at least. They don't have economical hardships. They just deal with the problem directly. But it is not the same for poor people. They have to deal with the problem itself and being broke at the same time. And this is really hard to digest for those people.
2032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 06, 2021, 10:21:47 PM
The season has started with the game between Monaco and Nantes. I was expecting it to be an easy one for Monaco actually. Because Nantes had a really bad season and barely managed to stay in the league. And Monaco had a quite good season. But this shows clearly that Monaco are still not fully prepared for the season.

Tomorrow, we are going to see two games of the big clubs in the league:

Lyon - Brest
Troyes - PSG

I expect both of the favorites to win without having much problem and start the season nicely.
2033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: August 06, 2021, 10:17:42 PM
I would really like to see Messi performing in the English Premier League as it is the most challenging league in Europe I think. So I would expect him to go to Manchester City. But Guardiola doesn't seem to be thinking of this transfer. That's why I started thinking that PSG are closer to signing him soon. PSG are a really strong team but their league is so boring to me. It is not too competitive.
2034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 06, 2021, 10:13:38 PM
It is claimed that Raphael Varane has arrived in England to finalize the deal with Manchester Utd. Before having a medical check, the 28-year-old defender will have to complete a period of quarantine. I wonder how much he will cost to Manchester Utd. We don't even know the transfer fee now.
2035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you rather buy for the long term right now...BTC or ETH? on: August 06, 2021, 03:47:36 PM
Ethereum seems more logical to buy to me right now. Because it's been on a huge rise for some time. It's like Ethereum is already in a bull run. The price is already over $2.8k now. And it is very likely we see $3k soon. The ATH was $4.3k and this is not an unbreakable record for Ethereum in the long run. I expect a price even over $10k in the future.
2036  Economy / Economics / Re: The volatility in the price of a bitcoin is falling over time on: August 06, 2021, 03:35:09 PM
It may seem like that but I don't think that the volatility will ever be gone or come down to a very low level. Because it is the main feature of cryptocurrencies. Their prices will always continue to fluctuate. Sometimes it will be at a high rate but sometimes at a low rate.
2037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 06, 2021, 03:31:13 PM
It is still rumoured that Romelu Lukaku will be signed by Chelsea in this month. According to the news I saw on BBC, he gives green light to returning to Chelsea also. But Inter chairman wants to wait for more time and decide later. I really don't understand this. A few days ago, it was claimed that Lukaku didn't want to leave. Now, they are saying that he would like to leave.
2038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 06, 2021, 03:24:24 PM
PSG are seen as the closest team to be able to sign Lionel Messi now. But according to some other sources, there is a possibility for Messi to go to MLS also. And I hope that it is nothing more than a rumour and Messi doesn't want it. Otherwise, I would be really devastated. I've been waiting to see him at a different European club for a long time.
2039  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin ever go down like 2018-2020 on: August 05, 2021, 10:01:45 PM
Going down to even $4k? I don't think that such thing will ever happen unless Bitcoin starts dying. Bitcoin price has gone over a certain limit and I don't expect it to go back to its old times again from these levels. Maybe we can see a price between $15k and 20k but nothing less than that I think.
2040  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: August 05, 2021, 09:57:41 PM
There is no certain belief about this actually. People who have a lot of experience in day trading can claim that it is the best way. And HODLers who have invested a lot so far and make a great profit can claim that it is the best one. But these are both opinions of course. It's up to you to choose the best one for you by trying out both of these ways.
