2021  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 0.5 BTC bounty for graph of unspent outputs on: June 13, 2013, 06:52:54 PM
Spreadsheet is linked below and one thing to note the data I have is only up through block 237,270 as I do not currently have the entire blockchain downloaded (slow internet sucks) I have bitcoin-qt downloading more and plan to update when the entire chain is downloaded

unspent.xlsx (5.2 MB)
https://mega.co.nz/#!aMBACaba!N402Lnf1DyK-ZCxIAEAkUjcL6WFkJrRSqChpI0L7N0c

Edit: It seems the forum bbcode is hating on that link with the ! in it so you will need to copy-pasta
2022  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 0.5 BTC bounty for graph of unspent outputs on: June 13, 2013, 04:19:46 PM
The data was obtained by looping over every block and adding the transactions to a list after removing its inputs from the list, then after each block I save how many transactions are in the list.

More specifically it is a modified version of mb300sd's code https://github.com/mb300sd/Bitcoin-Tool/blob/master/Bitcoin%20Tool/Apps/ComputeUnspentTxOuts.cs

 In the loop iterating the blocks I save the current count to an array and print that array to a .csv file at the end.

Edit: Forgot to mention I will send the excel file when I get back to my computer later tonight.

Are you looking for something along the lines of this?

(click for full size)

Textbox intentionally placed over portion of graph until complete so we don't have anyone trying to crop out the graph and claim it Wink

It's not affiliated with bitcoinplus it is a copy paste of bitcoinplus.

Found right at the top of the page source
Code:
<!-- saved from url=(0035)http://www.bitcoinplus.com/generate -->
And at the bottom of the page
Code:
Copyright 2011, Bitcoin Plus.
Every link on the page sends you back to bitcoinplus.com except "Generate Bitcoin" at the bottom which instead links to a 404
Code:

Sadly Round 8 came and went without a single entrant, so to get the next round rolling I seeded it with 0.1 BTC
2028  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BlockChain.info unspent api on: June 06, 2013, 07:17:33 AM
Finally had time to sit down and implement this and wanted to both receive criticism for my code and to allow others to use it if they wish.

The code turned out to be extremely simple and works directly with the string representation itself so there is no decode/re-encode necessary

Code: (php)
 function reverseHash($hash){
     $ret = "";
     for($i = 0; $i<63; $i+=2){
         $ret .= $hash[62-$i].$hash[63-$i];
     }
     return $ret;
 }

With the upcoming graphical overhaul this might not be an issue but for now it bothers me Wink

Shortly after loading the page "Your stats" looks like the first image then it updates a bit later to look like the second which is where my critiques lie
1 - To me the heading "Your Statistics" is redundant when added after the update
2 - Why is there an update link if it is already auto-updating?
3 - "Logs of all your bets" seems to break the flow and should be placed elsewhere (perhaps the bottom)

1)

2)

Must have played it too long and didn't cash out while he was ahead

Really like the dynamic image stating how many giveaways remain rather than leaving people guessing.

The game itself is also quite fun, may have to deposit some funds and play when I get the chance. I did also manage to walk away with just over 0.001BTC so that is always nice.

Side note: the game and website work quite well on Chrome for android other than some odd quirks with the popups to withdraw or when you don't have enough funds to play again.

You think a law firm would use a fucking gmail account? LOL.
Most certainly, a gmail account is very difficult to register for only the most elite of people can have one.
2033  Economy / Gambling / Re: BlockEnd.net - Win Prize if TxID matches block hash. on: June 01, 2013, 05:14:24 AM
So other than the fear that I will run with the coins are there any other faults or concerns with this concept?
2034  Economy / Services / Re: In need of Bot built on Myfreecams.com on: June 01, 2013, 05:06:33 AM
This can't be done for a couple of reasons I just looked into it. One MFC doesn't have an API. Second the chat is using flash, and that can't be controlled with javascript or any outside program. So anyone claiming to do this would be lying.
It is most certainly possible... (I'm not lying Wink)

The chat is handled via flash yes, but it is inserted into the html dom and you can extract the information from that via a variety of methods.

At the link above is a screen recording of my test program extracting the chats via C#

Wow...

I just had the worst roll of games known to man. I just busted 10BTC.

Fuck.
wow, that stinks so far I've only lost 0.05 or so, although I guess that depends how many you have... I don't even own 1BTC so to lose 10 seems unimaginable to me
2036  Economy / Gambling / Re: BlockEnd.net - Win Prize if TxID matches block hash. on: May 30, 2013, 03:23:42 PM
"There is no way you can lose." And that's when you know that one is a sham.

Otherwise that looks almost exactly like my idea, I can see how you would think I may be taking inspiration and run with the coins

When viewing anyone's bet history the balance is currently ~109BTC coming from this url http://primedice.com/ticker_balance.php?addr= is that the current balance of PrimeDice itself and shouldn't there be an address there to actually see the balance of the user we are viewing?

Additionally my personal history page shows no "Account ID", no bets and with 0 wins - 0.0001 losses, not sure how I can lose but not be a full loss Wink

2039  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A real free vps? on: May 30, 2013, 07:13:23 AM
It looks like a 14 day trial now, maybe, but it was previously as long as you used it simply for linking your facebook: https://chunkhost.com/
Another that I used for a bit, however they were flaky, and now "require" you to install some anti-virus to participate. Instead click the download link as it allows you to proceed to the registration page but do not install the AV (unless you really want to...): http://www.host1free.com/vps-registration/

Just remember you get what you pay for.
I have since abandoned both free vps's in favor of http://webfaction.com or if you are feeling so kind http://www.webfaction.com?affiliate=bitspill
