It's obvious which category Deathwing falls under... Certainly not a scammer. We've all been guilty of his situation.
Yes!

"Scam" and "Ponzi Scheme" ate both abused in this community, sadly.

You know what I find most interesting about this whole thing...

None of the people posting here are at any loss, sitnicki the one who is being "scammed" hasn't even posted here yet.
If sitnicki truly felt scammed by the situation would he not be over here making his case?

It just looks to me like a bunch of people trying to cause trouble over here.
would you like me to pm him and get him involved? The big fact is that a moderator did not keep his word and that is big since this is a very popular forum...
Sending him a pm is simply pushing him to come over and complain with the promise of bitcoins or helping demote/scamtag an admin

He will proactively seek the cause if  he feels it justified.

And seriously how can anyone expect to be paid $60 for 5 minutes work? Even $5 for 5 minutes is $60/hr whereas $60 for 5 minutes is $740/hr

Can anyone list the approximate dates to when the coin reward will halve.  Every three weeks.  When was the last halve.

September 2nd was the last, putting 3 weeks at September 23rd.

How much coins is in block now? 1024 or 512?
Has now halved to 512
1845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for people to run Altcoin givaways and earn some coins on: September 10, 2013, 04:18:19 AM
My giveaway passed the 50% mark, feel free to start the 2nd now.
Computer is operational again and it jumped from 47% to 91% in one massive transaction Wink

When the giveaway is completed would you like the list given away compiled as in op or are the transaction pastes in the thread sufficient?

OK, everybody who blindly followed this tiny URL (from within a thread discussing botnets, of all places), slap yourself at the back of the head.
HARD.

If you were running Windows, also kick yourself in the balls, maybe that'll teach you.
I clicked it, but... from Android.

And for those who haven't yet it is a lmgtfy link to "what is a botnet"

Hi

Everything is working, but myinfo doesnt work. I tried ~/myinfo and ./myinfo.
The post right before you was the same problem and the same solution just as i3lome said, myinfo only shows private keys to addresses with a balance so if ~/peek shows a balance of 0 ~/myinfo will be blank
1853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Primecoin Mining Rig - Parallela on: September 07, 2013, 05:57:08 PM
Wow you can beat a Corei5 with 99$ computer! That's insane! Shocked
The Epiphany running 16 threads beats the i5 running one thread but loses to the i5 running two threads.

Why does it need to be under the radar?
This farm is not running out of some guys bedroom closet. It is a large operation and the power would not be unusual for a large office or a data center

-- I do not run any farms just speaking common sense Wink
