Speaking of which... it appears TF or $username has ~16 BTC sitting in his known bitcoin wallet not associated with inputs.io/CoinLenders

https://blockchain.info/address/1GLadosEkeAsLReqS3yQ51E1R3wVtbJCDF

So if you would like to use a portion of that to refund my 1 BTC that was supposedly safe at CoinLenders it'd be appreciated. You can keep the some odd interest that I had earned so long as I get the original 1 BTC back, the USD price is probably about the same as it was when I deposited also.

even though there is also no way we will ever probably know if you stole the coins or if they were actually stolen

TF stole the coins.

If you remember, about 3 months before the theft, TF blocked ALL personal messages on the forum, forcing everyone to email him.  He didn't want Theymos to see what he was doing.

It's like a smoking gun.  Or someone who changes their will right before they die in an "accident".  TF knew he was going to scam, and he planned for it.
95% he stole them or 100% he stole them?
    __
99.99% he stole them

No one will ever know what really happened though but that seems to be the consensus.
I even lost 1 BTC at CL.

The way I read his post, yes.

He want's that game but as payment will pay you in either BTC, PayPal, or TF2/CS/Dota keys whichever you prefer. Which is most likely BTC.

Looks like an extra 'u' got inserted into the code somewhere but I'm not seeing it after a quick perusal.

It's on the converter page that the error pops up every time you interact with the calculator and no value appears in the calculated box

I am a band major from Chicago and we are going to have an evening party next Sunday, it need a large LED display with about 15 m (W)  x 3 m (L).  Where I can rent a cheap LED display and how much it would cost ? I want to save my $$ and I found this led display manufacturer on google, I was looking at their products and can't make sense of whats the differences between the ES and EL series, which one would be better for my use and more cost-effective? BTW they have no local rental company in US... any options else from other ones?

I wonder whether it is appropriate to talk about this here, but I need help eagerly, pleeeeeeese?
You can see through the ES but the EL is a solid board.

They are also 6mx6m so you'd need 2 to get 12x6

I would find out what the value of Bitcoin is in 2050.
Then I would decide how to plan my retirement.  Grin
But you can't come  back from 2050 so it wouldn't help you.

How many people does it take to say signature campaign? Oh, yea they all have paid signatures.

Well the way to get rich is by building a reputation then building some website that holds others bitcoins for them and when you have sufficiently many you get "hacked".

Inputs.io/Coinlenders - mt.gox - Silk Road 2 - Sheep Marketplace - Project: Black Flag - bitcoinica - "bitstamp" - etc

Here's a good list of them: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83794.0
Here's a tutorial: http://www.theverge.com/2013/12/19/5183356/how-to-steal-bitcoin-in-three-easy-steps

So what is your suggestion then? Should i build my own CPU from my own transistors and mine the silicon myself?  Cheesy

Probably. You may have difficulties sourcing silicon from outside of the reach of the US and NSA. I'm sure they have already hidden exploits in domestic silicon.

They said they were going to mine the silicon themselves, how does the gov't have hidden exploits in a metal? Maybe it's in the gold/silver used in cabling also

publish the sources and private keys

So the malicious hacker out there gets the power to take full control of any average users pc?

To anyone going back in time to buy massive amounts of bitcoin you'd throw the balance of buy/sell's off and make changes to the price too early perhaps preventing us from ever hitting the peaks we had. Wink

In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state.

And is encrypt our files still can protect it ?

But, if the computer was on when the files got encrypted then they know the private key! /s

I will add it to the ToDo list however and see about getting something going. Has anyone developed any web api's yet? Something like https://blockchain.info/q or https://blockchain.info/api/api_receive

Something like the query API used to be supported by monerochain.info but that site disappeared.

A version of the receive API is a good idea.

What sort of site are you building?
It's a pay-per-download site that converts torrents into zip files, https://UnTorrent.Me currently a WIP (and free for a short while)

Mentally it was not easy to say the least to accept reality... however I found a really simple and positive attitude to handle psychologically the situation... In short Zuckerberg is very close to the truth... why hide? So my simple solution is to consider my computer like a screen in a local market... I write what I think, what I assume when I write it, but the next sec... who knows I may have changed my mind... or it may have been trolling Cheesy. Some people will hate what I write, others will love it... Then as your freedom of speech is guaranteed by the same Faith shared by the USMIIC, those that will stand in your path of expression will discover that their only outcome is their own death.

101: I don't believe in screen based love. Or you are with or you aren't 101. and they emits electro magnetic field...

but yes a laptop with wifi physically removed + emf shielded + battery charger and then only plug in the battery to the laptop shall do it for a secure cold wallet?
I don't even know what I just read.

Hey guys, I'm building a BTC based website and it was suggested that I also accept XMR/Monero. I currently don't have the time to research the coin myself right now, so can anyone give me the 30 second pitch on why I should add XMR/Monero to my site?

I think you should read this today's post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583449.msg10062838#msg10062838

Might take a bit more than 30sec though.
It wasn't a "twenty-second" read either, I feel cheated.

That does sound like some great work by the devs, however nothing really screamed I need to implement XMR into my site.

I will add it to the ToDo list however and see about getting something going. Has anyone developed any web api's yet? Something like https://blockchain.info/q or https://blockchain.info/api/api_receive
