Hey guys, I'm building a BTC based website and it was suggested that I also accept XMR/Monero. I currently don't have the time to research the coin myself right now, so can anyone give me the 30 second pitch on why I should add XMR/Monero to my site?

How often would you download a torrent?
What's the average size of the torrents you download?
What's the largest torrent you think you'd download?
What would you be willing to pay for such a service?

I was getting download speeds > 10MB/s when downloading back to me, but the download never finished (it was stopping at random points)
Great, the speed anyway. I only get 1MB/s if I'm lucky. As for the downloads stopping I have not had that issue myself, could you try again with some of the more recent changes to see if it still happens. magnet urls seems to work in the way that the name gets displayed but they don't seem to download
None of my tests included magnets, however currently it seems to exhibit the behavior you mention but if you click the status link then you can see the progress. Something to work on... when trying to add some other file after refresh I kept getting "failed to add torrent", maybe you were changing something
Hmm... have not experienced that yet either, does it still occur? If so is it reproducible by a specific torrent or procedure? I might have been making changes and you simply had bad luck  |

Also my upload is really bad so if one of these services allowed you to upload you're own files and use it as a seed on a private tracker I would pay for that. It would be a nice feature for advanced users.
At that point you are really going to need to look into a seedbox |

The definition of "scammer" generally differs from person to person, so it is unlikely the community will be able to agree on if Charlie is a "scammer"
I would say that he is most likely not going to repay the OP prior to him going to prison. He has not posted since being sentenced and has little reason to do so now. It is unlikely that many/any people will remember this incident by the time he gets out (regardless of if he repays him after he does so).
There is no ambiguity in the definition of a scammer. Charlie made a repayment plan with bracek deep in this post. He promised to make installments to bracek. Charlie stopped responding and halted repayment. By breaking the contract, he is committing a scam: a dishonest scheme; a fraud. "an insurance scam" synonyms: fraud, swindle, fraudulent scheme, racket, trick; More Essentially, bracek completed his side of the trade, and Charlie did not. That is a scam. If Charlie randomly decides to pay this back 2 years down the line, he is repaying his scam victim. It does not change the fact that he scammed him. If you are late paying your phone bill, did you scam the phone company? When you make your late payment are you still a scammer but you paid off your scam-victim (phone company)? |

Sorry, got impatient and finally used a private tracker instead. I'm just a tiny little bit eager to see the season premier.  Yea that particular one you had open last, was downloading at 10kbps it had only a handful of peers. I'll take a look at Monero shortly, currently scrolling through Reddit then going to fix a few issues with the website. |

I found why the downloads were stalling on you, looks like you tried to download 4 different versions of broadchurch but they all hung... your latest should have just resumed. The server has a 1TB drive but the folder where Transmission was saving the torrents was limited to 20GB so it filled up quickly and paused all the torrents. Do you have a link to the Monero thread? However to start things of I was probably going to only accept bitcoin, unless of course there is enough demand for others. |

hello, Ive used quite a bit of these services. Is there anything specific you want tested? I will throw a few torrents at it now and see if I can max my dl speed.
Nothing in particular, more whether there is desire for such a service and the dl speed you achieve since my internet is not the best. |

BitFetch has died and in it's wake left a void, that void is now filled (maybe? Let me know if not) by UnTorrent.Me a simple way to convert torrents into zip downloads for bitcoin. It's easier not having to remember a password so instead just bookmark your secret url and your account is all set.
