2041  Economy / Securities / Re: ROCKMINER - miners using GEN3 ASICMINER chips on: April 23, 2014, 08:22:47 AM
i would like to sell an additional 200 shares at 0.15BTC

please contact me if you are interested.

@ Rockxie maybe you can tell me if their is a minimum amount people are allowed to buy/transfer?

Minimum amount direct shares transferring is 5 shares.

BTW:
We issued a PT-ROCKMINER at counterwallet.co.Detail see http://www.blockscan.com/assetInfo.aspx?q=ROCKMINER

Having never used counterparty I'm a bit confused.

Why is there 7,500,000 shares? Are they fractional?

It seems like BA loves keeping its paying customers in the dark and speculating about their progress

What exactly do you consider weekly updates with photos?

Terraminers and Neptunes won't be able to pay for their own electricity in another 12 months' time

Terraminers won't but neptunes will be nearly twice as efficient so they will last longer.

In my opinion whoever has the cheapest/most efficient asic will always just barely profit.

Difficulty can only rise as much as people are willing to throw money in to it. For difficulty to follow last years rate we would need to see the value of btc increase.

If nobody is making a profit they will shut off their inefficient miners until only the most efficient miners remain.

Indicators show we're heading to $265.

You too have a magic crystal ball?

Mine said we are heading towards $2000

I agree that creating a pool should be the least of AMs priorities but there is really no better advertising than a goliath sized AM hardware only pool.
2047  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: April 22, 2014, 09:19:30 PM

4) When are the new chips expected to start mining in ASICMiner datacenters and what hashrate are you currently planning on deploying?
re 4) May-June for air cooling and June-July for immersion cooling. They are only capable of 3PH. Most should go franchising or as chips for other vendors' OEM products.

I dont understand why only 3PH, are we going back to the days of mining in a pool?

"Only 3ph" never heard that one before.

Don't forget about franchising.

I hope AM will use/franchise a few 1MW immersion cooled containers.
2048  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: www.lketc.com 1TH Dragon miner direct order. 3000$ on: April 22, 2014, 08:52:09 PM
Can anyone give me the link to the bit tech thread/website? $2000 for 1TH seems too good to be true.
2049  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: The Best Mining Rigs Are Now Barely Profitable -- Now What? on: April 22, 2014, 08:12:40 PM
I guess the title says it all.

The fastest rigs from KnC and Cointerra are barely able to make back their purchase price.

Yet the difficulty keeps increasing.

If you haven’t taken delivery of your miner yet, you will almost surely lose money on it.

Is there any new technology on the horizon?

Or are we all hosed?

Please share how you are able to see in to the future.

Magic crystal ball?

Does anyone have an estimated ETA on either version of Titan?  May? June? July? August? September? November? Next Year?

December

Assuming 1$/GH at system level, that would mean that 50PH=50M$. With the current exchange rate and with the current market i simply don't think that will happen.

Says the guy running a $5 million dollar group buy..

did not expect this storm of feces.

How many abrupt liquidations of incompetent/failed companies have you been involved in?

Are you really qualified for this?

I did not start the company to make money (hence the minimal 10% cut), but in the spirit of education and knowledge.

Hope you got a good education for a few hundred thousand dollars wasted of other peoples money.

I've heard prison is also a very enlightening and educational experience.

Good thing he clarified. For a second I thought he was responsible for this mess.

1) What is the status, size, and expected delivery of the next batch of chips? What about the one after that?
re 1) This month: 850k, next month: 3.35m (order size), June: 6.7m (order size), assuming each chip is 10G.

100Ph at $0.5 profit per gh = $50,000,000 or 100,000 btc

100,000/400,000 = 0.25 btc per share. Not bad.

Where are we assuming $0.5 profit per GH - constant over the life of the generation?

Profit per gh is $0.25-0.75. I assume it will be nearer to the higher end during the first 3 months.

Forget about the subject (I agree it's a bit misleading). The business plan is calculated in $ and BTC isn't mentioned anywhere. Bitcoin would be no more than an investment vehicle for a fiat-world business...

Forget about the subject?  OP promises to "return = ~150,000" for an investment of "~2500 BTC," and I should ignore this?  What else would you like me to ignore?  What fresh kind of craziness is this?

You're right, the title of the thread was and is inaccurate. I will change it to be more suitably reflective of the idea.

This is why nobody will take this seriously.

Please stop with the rediculous estimations.

A more accurate title would be: Looking to spend your 1000btc on a likely unprofitable business.

Only 16 cointerra miners??

What happened to the "extra compensation" from cointerra and the ~100 btc raised from selling extra shares?

Smells like theft a SEC investigation to me.

1.   Pure transparency regarding holdings – Monthly reports

3.    No one individual allowed to spend funds greater than 10 BTC without agreement from another team member

8.   Costs over 20 BTC per month disclosed to shareholders

These three features will greatly prevent any indivual running rampant with your hard earned BTC. Your concerns regarding us stealing all your Bitcoins are slighlty unjust, afterall your pre-ordered shares must be held by a trusted escrow.

Ok I will ignore the fact that this is a horrible investment opportunity even if you are not a scammer.

1. If you are truly transparent what is your full name along with anyone involved?

3. Why should we trust you and your "team members"? This sounds like you just want a bunch of bitcoins you don't own to make shitty investments with no risk.

8. Any costs at all should be disclosed to shareholders. Regardless it doesn't prevent lying, deception, or theft.
