Terraminers and Neptunes won't be able to pay for their own electricity in another 12 months' time
Terraminers won't but neptunes will be nearly twice as efficient so they will last longer. In my opinion whoever has the cheapest/most efficient asic will always just barely profit. Difficulty can only rise as much as people are willing to throw money in to it. For difficulty to follow last years rate we would need to see the value of btc increase. If nobody is making a profit they will shut off their inefficient miners until only the most efficient miners remain. |

I agree that creating a pool should be the least of AMs priorities but there is really no better advertising than a goliath sized AM hardware only pool.

re 4) May-June for air cooling and June-July for immersion cooling. They are only capable of 3PH. Most should go franchising or as chips for other vendors' OEM products.
I dont understand why only 3PH, are we going back to the days of mining in a pool? "Only 3ph" never heard that one before. Don't forget about franchising. I hope AM will use/franchise a few 1MW immersion cooled containers. |

The fastest rigs from KnC and Cointerra are barely able to make back their purchase price.
Yet the difficulty keeps increasing.
If you haven’t taken delivery of your miner yet, you will almost surely lose money on it.
Is there any new technology on the horizon?
Or are we all hosed?

I did not start the company to make money (hence the minimal 10% cut), but in the spirit of education and knowledge. Hope you got a good education for a few hundred thousand dollars wasted of other peoples money. I've heard prison is also a very enlightening and educational experience. |

re 1) This month: 850k, next month: 3.35m (order size), June: 6.7m (order size), assuming each chip is 10G. 100Ph at $0.5 profit per gh = $50,000,000 or 100,000 btc 100,000/400,000 = 0.25 btc per share. Not bad. Where are we assuming $0.5 profit per GH - constant over the life of the generation? Profit per gh is $0.25-0.75. I assume it will be nearer to the higher end during the first 3 months. |

Forget about the subject (I agree it's a bit misleading). The business plan is calculated in $ and BTC isn't mentioned anywhere. Bitcoin would be no more than an investment vehicle for a fiat-world business... Forget about the subject? OP promises to "return = ~150,000" for an investment of "~2500 BTC," and I should ignore this? What else would you like me to ignore? What fresh kind of craziness is this? You're right, the title of the thread was and is inaccurate. I will change it to be more suitably reflective of the idea. This is why nobody will take this seriously. Please stop with the rediculous estimations. A more accurate title would be: Looking to spend your 1000btc on a likely unprofitable business. |

1. Pure transparency regarding holdings – Monthly reports
3. No one individual allowed to spend funds greater than 10 BTC without agreement from another team member
8. Costs over 20 BTC per month disclosed to shareholders
These three features will greatly prevent any indivual running rampant with your hard earned BTC. Your concerns regarding us stealing all your Bitcoins are slighlty unjust, afterall your pre-ordered shares must be held by a trusted escrow.
Ok I will ignore the fact that this is a horrible investment opportunity even if you are not a scammer. 1. If you are truly transparent what is your full name along with anyone involved? 3. Why should we trust you and your "team members"? This sounds like you just want a bunch of bitcoins you don't own to make shitty investments with no risk. 8. Any costs at all should be disclosed to shareholders. Regardless it doesn't prevent lying, deception, or theft. |
