I never use cheap CPU..never. My miners are either Xeon Hexa Core or i7 Quad. My next baby will be Kaby-Lake and Skylake-EP :-D X299 FTW.
Rephrase what I always noticed and see in this forum: Who buys cheap buys twice! Or cry because weak cpu is not capable of running the miner. Pfff tired of this.
It probably is a windows issue. On linux I never had any problem with cheap cpus. And I mined many tens of coins and algos for years. And had a lot of different GPUs, AMD and nvidia. The only time I thought the miner used all the cpu, and thus run slower than it could, I changed the processor only to see the same hashrate.

Help me my wallet dont maining Purse gives you a lot of coins but they are not confirmed
Have you got enough confirmations on your mined blocks? If you hover the corresponding transaction, you will see how many confirmations are left.

is there anything special to set up a node? or just leave wallet open? I leave my wallet open all the time (partly cause I don't want to have to resync the whole chain) because I stake.
Yes, you can help further by opening the incoming port on your router, or by using UPNP.

Okay, I've got the explorer up and running, at least for now (ermine 30 day trial for converting a dynamically linked exe into static). Let's see what happens after that. I might just get a license of them... http://xcn-explorer.selektion21.de/If someone with a better domain wants to donate it, please just point it to the same IP and I can update it. btw, dextro: what do you mean with 'another' explorer? Is there another one out there? I thought the lack of one was the actual problem. The explorer is now fixed and working! You can try it on the above url. Here are the updated sources: https://github.com/pallas1/MiniExplorerPlease donate to gnasirator so he can cover hosting costs, thanks.

I've been running a 5 cards rig with a sempron single core cpu for more than a year without any issues.
Besides utilization issues. XD What do you mean?

nice seeing you back CC its seems that a long quite months from you its been quite a long time and esp still in a good progress, thanks for letting us know that you and Crypto still doing some things behind, hope you find more knowledge to make more progress regarding to esp advertisement and more good plans for the future success.
Yea i still checked in on the progress and community just never posted cause didn't have much to say outside of personal drama but everything seems to be settling down once-more so figure i might as well get back in the game Good to see you back! I too am still on this coin and I hold a lot (and staking pretty nice). Can't wait to see the new wallet in action!

It's funny how you got Doubloons wrong in your main OP Header...

Used by espers coin for many months.

i might have gold fingers :p
Or a golden forum thread ;-)

I made one (ccminer based). See the boat thread. not released? meanwhile amd have already one, another unfair distribution... I released the amd sgminer many months ago, it works for nvidia as well. Then Wolf0 released a faster version, but for amd only.

Hi guys. I made the base hqm1725 opencl sgminer for Espers many months ago. I also have a ccminer for nvidia, which is very fast. Wanna crowdfund it? Maybe together with the espers people?

not that it matter anymore i guess because profitability is the same now, but klaus is still stuck with that bug on the pascal miner, preventing it to work with a pool?
Still crashes on startup on Linux.

Poloniex is re-enabling the XCN wallet: they asked me for the missing transaction IDs.

whether was hardfork ? poloniex and btc38 up wallet, but coins did not come to btc38 from bter and from poloniex. still "pending".
No, they are not on a fork, they have troubles running the wallet. I have open tickets with both and pressing them heavily.

if you look at the gpu usage of my pascal miner, you'll see it's at 99% or 100% always. The "official" one is much lower, though. It just doesn't make use of the full capacity. But it's sha256d and, being the first ever gpu miner algo, and being worked on to death, I don't think there is much room to improve on it.
100% utilization isn't the same thing as a GPU being fully utilized... Difference in power consumption for instance... Not sure how much it was 'worked to death'. Sha256 being bitcoin was taken over by FPGAs and then ASICs before mining ever took off. Mining has matured immensely in the last five years or so. It's been just that long since SHA256 was really used on GPUs. sha256 has been used a lot even recently, for example in LBRY, M7, veltor, etc.

Blake based coins are usually mined better with fpga, so it's unlikely that gpus can be profitable. Unless the algorithm is new or weird (like pentablake).
Why? at the moment it seems that decred is decetly profitable, at least in the short term. A better optimized miner for nvidia would make it better than zcash. Pallas looks at things very long term. There are probably people with FPGAs already on Decred, but they can only expand so fast so hard... Just because they exist doesn't make GPU mining obsolete. Pascalcoin pool miner would still be neat. There have been for months, just like on sia, vcash and now pascal as well. Of course if you do your math and find it's profitable, you'd better do it, but don't count or invest on it.
