2041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoins and save yourself from Inflation on: June 30, 2022, 10:55:06 PM
It still needed to be understood by the investor that bitcoin is a deflationary asset but still have to go through a certain market correction. This might be misunderstood by the others and think bitcoin is exempted from any corrections.

Well, we've just seen that it's going through a bear market and that's a good time for anyone to buy it while believing that it's going to hit big in the future.

If someone is thinking about beating the inflation, he really should invest into assets that can beat it and also grows overtime.
2042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Had you ever x10,000? on: June 30, 2022, 03:46:05 PM
Congratulations.

I've tried to do that before but no luck, so it means that you really are lucky and this is your day. What coin is this clam? I've looked into coinmarketcap but most that I've seen don't have much volume at all.

Still, that's a 10,000x multiplier win.
I dont know if this is the one.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/clams/

Price isnt that high and winning isnt really that great but considering that its a x10k hit then this is something not everybody could make.
Its a lucky one even though it do takes 20k bets which is something a good experience to have.
That's okay but he said he's playing with pennies and that's still an achievement for him. I've never touched that type of win even if I've tried so many adjustments with such multipliers.

bustabit and bustadice seems to be a fun casino for players who are always trying to hunt huge multiplier as I often saw many gamblers wagering small amount per bet on these two sites while chasing those huge multipliers for big wins.
I did that in bustadice but never been lucky just like him. It's actually like a chance of game with the pennies you'll roll on continuously.
2043  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022? on: June 30, 2022, 01:01:24 PM
If that's the question for this year, nobody knows but I'd say that it won't be. We'll not see $100k on this year and it's more likely that this is another long bear market.

Instead of thinking the bullish prices, we better be expecting the worst case and price that might be seen before this year ends.
2044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alutra and Vulcan on: June 30, 2022, 11:35:56 AM
ALU is back at it's ICO price and as good as this project is I think is a good time to start buying, what do you think? Do you know ALUTRA? Also I target Vulcan Forged too but someone is saying it's never going back to it's ATH again, what do you think about PYR?.
I'm only aware of Vulcan Forged but not with ALU. I think I'll just go ahead with the game but not with the token holding it. If you're earning PYR then it's just good to sell for the profit as you play their game.

But if you're optimistic that they'll be back again in ATH, nobody knows unless bitcoin goes back there and make its come back to the top again. Neither of the two coins I'll be getting.

To understand the economics of these tokens, most of them are really unlikely to get back on its former ATH.

2046  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lost all btc on: June 29, 2022, 10:46:39 PM
Sorry to say OP but they're gone forever and no way to recover it. Is this on exchange or from your wallet?

Do you remember the apps you've downloaded and the links that you've signed up for? It's likely that you've downloaded a malware or you've been phished, either of the two.

Or, someone who you know personally stole your private keys and he took it and robbed your bitcoins. Although even if you tell more details as long as it's already been sent, no reversing will happen.
2047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a crypto that won't depend on BTC anymore on: June 29, 2022, 09:53:57 PM
The majority of investors and traders are increasingly understanding crypto fundamentals before investing, is there any crypto that moves itself according to its fundamentals both now and in the future?
There is none.

All of the cryptos today will and always be dependent to BTC. But at least for the stable coins, they're all pegged to dollars if that's what you mean.

Well, as for that actual coin that won't be going along with bitcoin. There is really no type of coin that does that.
2048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to gambling with money. on: June 28, 2022, 11:40:56 PM
....A better suggestion and an alternative to quitting gambling completely is to start betting with fake money gambling apps.
The main intention of these fake money apps is to get you stay hook with gambling and play with real money again when you get funds. This is just giving the gambler a temporary break the way I see it and I don't really consider that as a better alternative. It's really a stretch to think it is.
Exactly.

The real thrill will come with real money and that's why these fake money will just attract you more to deposit and get on the real action. That's part of psychological factor that will make the curious to get into the actual thing.

It's part of the marketing of the casinos to have you engage with them and it's good for them if they have this feature because it's another way to convince that playing with fake money ain't enough.
2049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: June 28, 2022, 10:43:23 PM
Well, Rune eaters against Team Spirit. The first game wasn't look easy but the 2nd game, it was too easy for them.

As for Depressed kid, he just need to have some good teammates that has experience for him to gain more experiences in the competitive Dota 2.

He's got the talent and he was already first discovered but still needed to be honed.
Certain players which had some good skills or totally have that talent will really be most effective if the other members do really end up on a good harmony which we know that it does really takes time before that

synchronization in between other players will really be tested through a span of time and once it would really be done or something in rhythm then this is where we do see their full potential plays.

New drafts/members in roster will really be not too effective no matter if its a tier 1 player or not.It do takes time for them to make out adjustments.
The best unorthodox roster that I've seen all of you will agree is the old roster of OG who had won 2-TIs.

They've been labelled a good friendship because of how they've gone through the qualifiers up to the finals in the TI.

I dont really have
any doubts with TS but they do suck on previous Major.  Cheesy
That's okay because just because they're a TI champ, they can't choke in other tournaments.
2050  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fear of losing my coins grabbed me by neck on: June 28, 2022, 09:40:20 PM
You can always look out and be alert upon copy pasting. Your worry is valid because there are malware that really attacks you with copy pasting of addresses and the hackers address will replace yours.

First, don't save your private keys/seeds on your mobile device. Keep it simple in a written form and keep that in a place that's safe and only you know it at least.

Second, a mobile wallet is what you'll use since you don't have much option. Research on what's the most recommended one, if you're for a multi currency wallet, there are plenty of them but make sure that they provide private keys for their users.

Lastly, as what I've said in the first sentence. Be vigilant and don't send quickly, before you send a transaction, check it as many times as you can if the address you'll be sending it out is correct.
2051  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When to take profit? on: June 28, 2022, 08:47:33 PM
Any of those strategy that will make you satisfied with your profit, that's what you must do. Experience wise, you should really be taking whether it will be in batches or a lump-sum when the market is on high.

That's the priority and as we will never know if that's the ATH, you should take opportunity at any time where you're seeing that your portfolio has gone high.

It's okay to take profit all at once or for every batch that you do. Just do not be greedy because that might lose you the opportunity to sell at profit.

Yeah, Entity won against them and looking at the stats. If they can't keep it up then they'll head to Division 2 and Alliance won't be new there.

Crystallis is a strong carry but it seems that he's not yet on his full just after being transferred to Team Secret. There are still three games waiting for Team Secret and they have to win all of it for them to possibly be out of the elimination and potential demotion to Division 2.

And while they're waiting for that, they have to wait for other teams to have losses to the point that they'll replace them in the bottom 2.

They simply dominated Secret in all 3 games yesterday...something that I would have never expecting to happen from a team like Secret...to get dominated like that ...from a Division 2 team.

Today , full of Dota 2 games again. I'm waiting for TI champs Team Spirit to play against Rune Eater and this should be an easy 2-0 for TS. Then , I will wait to bet against Empire at least 1 map when they face because since EMPIRE lost Depressed Kid ...that team doesn't have the same skill anymore as that kid , who is only 17 years old , it's simply a genius in Dota2 and I'm glad he left Empire and looking to grind again in order to be spotted from those Tier 1 teams. Also , I do think that DepressedKid should be a great player in Team Secret but I also know that he is kinda expensive to be drafted now.

yes , i also think that signature campaign is not a bad idea.  but if i can see more attractive promotion is better ^^
As they gather all of those opinions from everyone about what we think about their website.

It's good to have them run a campaign so that they'll increase the exposure that they need through the forum and at the same time, they'll have to maintain their website not just from the suggested designs and way of keeping it.

They know how to run business so, if the effect gets in and it's increased their traffic, they should be in for more quality of service.
2054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance signs Cristiano Ronaldo for exclusive partnership to push NFTs on: June 27, 2022, 08:51:24 PM
Good luck to that partnership and I guess that will boost their NFT sales. It's better if they did signed him a contract about partnership to them directly as an exchange and not with an NFT.

But this is typical for Binance. They want to boost their sales towards NFT and that's the main purpose of it. He's Cristiano and a very popular, the goat in his own craft and sport.

It seems Team Secret is heading slowly but surely towards Division 2 of WEU Dota as they lost again today against the new promoted team of Entity which don't get me wrong , they played great and they are playing great in general but to beat Team Secret 2-1 , a team who claims to fight for TI every year seems more than great.

Team Secret should think very carefully what to do next because clearly something is not working and Yapzor is still not in the team. Another fact would be that Team Secret changed 4 since the TI from November with Matumbaman and Zai leaving and then Sumail and most likely Yapzor as the rumors are pointing in that direction.
Yeah, Entity won against them and looking at the stats. If they can't keep it up then they'll head to Division 2 and Alliance won't be new there.

2056  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: is it worth mining bitcoin with a Gaming laptop? on: June 25, 2022, 10:37:52 PM
I've heard it from the miners that it's not worth to on their rigs now. So, those miners that kept on mining have spare money or allocated budget for their electricity bills and operational costs. And they are not going to sell but to hold whatever they earn at this rate.

But to remind you, these miners built dedicated rigs to mine and not with laptops.

Because even you've got a gaming laptop, it's for gaming and not really for mining. You'll just lessen the life span of your device if you do that.
2057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing projects before launch on: June 25, 2022, 09:35:18 PM
What platforms or websites do you use to track projects before your ICO?
No criteria anymore as I don't invest on them anymore. Do people still invests on them? maybe a very few that still think that there's huge money on it but not anymore for the past years.
Many people invest! Many look for projects before launch for the opportunity and potential for appreciation. But of course, before investing, it is interesting to know more about the project and the company's proposals. At the moment, I use the FoundICO website and the Coinmarket cap as a tool, because through them I see interesting projects and I try to know more about them beforehand.
Then good luck to those that still invests.

It's been so long that I've seen some successful ICOs and when the market was crowded by ICO projects but not really today anymore. I just wish that all of you that invests on it will have a great journey and make profit instead of losses.

Because that's what I'm believing right now that you've got higher chance of losing there instead of making at these moments due to the hype and trend about projects dumping and rug pulling.
2058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: June 24, 2022, 03:37:26 PM
Is it just me that, even though chinese DoTA has very high production and good casters now..but it still feels like its rigged? random pauses and crazy moves after pause. Like carry randomly farming in the dead lane showing on the map..while the teammates are far away on the other side of the map or really poor smoke plays. Even in Tier 1 Dota. One of the reasons why I feel most matches go into 3 maps or there are some shocking losses out of the blue.
For the tier 1 teams, I've been one of the people amazes by their play style and gameplay. But about production, I don't know because I don't watch them. I don't look at the castings there because I can't understand it.

If it's related to their players, sure that they've been one of the best and always never disappoints.

Although, I understand what you've said about something suspicious even in tier 1 plays and I can't also ignore that and sometimes those plays were really questionable.
2059  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Which cold wallet to buy? on: June 24, 2022, 08:40:41 AM
I have an Iphone and have read the Ledger Nano S only supports Android so looks like I will need the Nano X?

I also am invested in 10 different crypto not just 1 or 2, does that also mean I need the Nano X?
Then Ledger Nano S won't be an option for you. Most of us owners of Nano S are just accessing it through PC/Laptop via Ledger live and that update of connecting it to an android phone was likely their most recent update for an S version.

For the Nano X, it got some issues that have been found and I don't know if they're already fix. Still do some research towards it before buying.

I am leaning towards the Nano S plus but was just thinking I have a Chromebook , am I able to connect the ledger to this or does it have to be a different kind of laptop?
As long as it has a USB port then you can connect the S there and also you need to download Ledger Live on the Chromebook or any device(desktop/laptop) you use.

What platforms or websites do you use to track projects before your ICO?
Well, I don't get into ICOs these days as they've been not that popular anymore for the past 4 years. But if you're still into it, just to the Announcements (Altcoins) and Tokens (Altcoins).

And what criteria do you use to invest in them?
No criteria anymore as I don't invest on them anymore. Do people still invests on them? maybe a very few that still think that there's huge money on it but not anymore for the past years.
