1081  Economy / Economics / Re: Look for what to invest, not what to eat on: April 20, 2023, 09:09:59 AM
Everyone has to deal with each their own situations. Those that are looking to invest probably have no need to think of what they need to eat or they're also thinking of what they need to eat but they're balancing their budget and manage their money.

It's not just in the forum about those you've noticed that are looking for food to put into their tables. It's almost everywhere where you see people hustle and bustle for their food and daily living just to survive but it's a different thing and comparison about the one you've given as an example about account sales.

I know that it's easy to say that they can learn and use their resources but it's just everyone doesn't have a good situation. People will prioritize food than investing before investing to bitcoin.
1082  Economy / Gambling / Re: $100 to $2519 on Strikebits.com today! on: April 19, 2023, 11:35:28 PM
It seems like lots of players have fallen for this scam site already. I guess Op is just hyping it to attract more players. I hope more victims of this site would speak for themselves to warn others about it. The site seems suspicious and there were obviously existing red flags. Players should really be skeptical even if there would be winning stories that they could read because fake testimonies are everywhere.
That's a typical strategy for them to attract more users. They'll create some threads telling people on how they've won such amount very easily and withdrawn so fast and then the plugging ends up with the casino name.

An unknown casino and a newbie account comes by telling these all good qualities and experiences all by themselves but the good thing, we in this community are aware if it's genuine or not.

Some may have the benefit of the doubt but if there have been proven proofs that the casino itself is asking some good reviews to be left and post it somewhere else to attract more users. That's a condition that indicates a red flag is already there.

I watched the game of SR against EG which is another South American team just as EG. And it was a tough game and thought that EG is about to end the series with a win and that was really close on them.

SR is really an experienced team despite they have a stand in mid laner since Abed is out, they show how they're good at capitalizing their leads and managing to turn the situation back and be in their favor.

Well, good luck on this one and I think that SR will win against BC.

It was a dominating win for Shopify Rebellion game 1 was a close game with SR having 41 kills while Beastcoast got 40 but SR got most of the towers to win the game it was Arteezy's Morphling were managing most of the kills while the other 4 was focus most on the assist, to win game 1 and with game 2 same strategy Arteezy's Death Prophet this time while Fly and Cr1t- having most of the assist and this time a dominating win for SR,

While Evil Geniuses lost the game to Tundra but it was a close game, game 1 was for Tundra while in Game 2 Evil Geniuses won the game for a comeback but devastated in Game 3 with a dominating win for Tundra,
Last day tomorrow and we're now starting to see the teams that are going to qualify for the playoffs and that's going to be a quick playoffs since 4 teams are going to be left while 4 teams on group stage 2 are going to be away.

GG and Team Liquid are likely going to be secured with the upper bracket spot. While SR is about to secure the 3rd slot but will go down at the lower bracket.

Both SA teams(EG and BC) are in danger of being out.
1084  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin to cash with simple steps. on: April 19, 2023, 09:45:05 PM
I think someone who's going to invest in bitcoin will start to know about how they can convert into cash their bitcoins. And many of those ends up with a centralized exchange because it's a commercialized service which is known to the most.

But then, from there, many learns about that it's not the only way to buy/sell and convert bitcoin and vice versa into cash. There are many and OP has mentioned a few of them.

And one of them which is the Bitcoin ATM isn't available for most and from those people that have used it, it's a convenient way but the fee is way up higher than the rest.

Also, there are over-the-counter transactions that can be done.

In today's game on DreamLeague Season 19, we got

Shopify Rebellion vs Beastcoast

Looking at this upcoming game there is no doubt that Shopify Rebellion could win this one, for sure looking at the paper and during Shopify games against Beastcoast Group A's next to Gaimin Gladiators I think Shopify Rebellion could win this for sure,

1086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs physical gold price potential on: April 18, 2023, 09:40:56 PM
It's because that's been the standard of conversion for gold and bitcoin. The value of these currencies might go lower but I doubt it that they will entirely go to zero and utterly be destroyed. There can be changes in terms of monetary system but these two that you've mentioned can't just be gone too quickly just as we say.

Even with current news about BRICS that's trying to de-dollarized with their economies. It's gonna to be a work in progress and won't be just applied too quickly so as usd/btc, usd/gold, eu/btc, and eu/gold.

Also with their ability to print unlimitedly, they can still do such controls with it through interest rates and just like what US did recently and still doing some of its control based on how they want to value its fiat.

Yes and the major currencies are the ones that people have an idea about in regards to purchasing power. In order for a new unit of account to establish itself, it takes a lot of time. I addition to that Bitcoin is a brand new technology, which means that people who are not familiar with it also will have issues trusting it as the new unit of account. Apart from the fact that many won't be able / like using it. It's more likely that Bitcoin will find its way into the global society with the younger generations from today. Using a phone, using wallets and so on, that is something many of the older people don't do unless it is something like Applepay where they have an idea what that is about and who is behind it. I am not saying it is better, I am only saying that a lot of people have less issues trusting it.

Whether the USD suffers from inflation or not, too many people still find it easier to judge a good in pennies or USD than in satoshis. It's also not even easy for those familiar with Bitcoin as nobody can tell for sure where its price is going, but that also has an impact because people would spend less if they know their satoshis will increase in purchasing power over time. While uncertainty is usually not a good thing, the certainly that the dollar will further be inflated gives people something to calculate with.
People assume that by just having that alliance is going to be kick out dollars and just devaluate it too easy. It's not how it goes, I'm not an economist expert but looking at that will really take time and won't come in an instant as there's a process and there's more into it.

It's true that even if bitcoin is already mainstream these days, there are still people that are doubting about its capacity and even more with its usage because all they hear is that it's a dark market thing or a scammers money without further research so we can't blame them for that.

But by the time that all of these things happen all at once and they see that bitcoin is still standing firm then that shall give the assurance that it's one good alternative as a store of value and a unit of account.
1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ppl are rushing towards the ever evolving arbitrum block chain on: April 18, 2023, 08:43:40 PM
You are overestimating them, not all of them are really enthusiastic at all. Whether it's from arb chain or with the others, there will always be the problem that shall pop from these dexes.

And this is the reason why cexes are used more than the dexes. But, we do want to see the emergence of dexes instead of cexes but then, there's the security issue that we get to see everytime from majority of them.
1088  Economy / Gambling / Re: Anyone remember trueflip.io casino? on: April 17, 2023, 11:55:08 PM
I still remember them back then and yes, they were one of those casinos that has made a crowd sale during the strongest times of ICO. Good to see that they're still around because many of their batchmates are no longer to be found.

Only a few of these casinos that did an ICO are still around because not all of them did find success with their operations even if they had a sort of success with crowdfunding.

The last comment on the announcement thread said they try reaching out to customer service and they got no reply, this says a lot if you know what's good for you stay away.
And that's from last year, he's gamblingbro who makes a lot of casino reviews. I tried to find if he has made a review about them but found none on his website.
1089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs physical gold price potential on: April 17, 2023, 10:59:05 PM
People often talk about the price potential of BTC or gold, in terms of US dollars or euro. In my opinion this does not make sense because the value of euros and dollars can be destroyed by central banks printing them to infinity.
It's because that's been the standard of conversion for gold and bitcoin. The value of these currencies might go lower but I doubt it that they will entirely go to zero and utterly be destroyed. There can be changes in terms of monetary system but these two that you've mentioned can't just be gone too quickly just as we say.

1090  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet security, a good choice of wallet is very important on: April 17, 2023, 10:07:14 PM
Nothing specific that I should ask because I don't know where to start.
However, from the explanation that I have read, it is enough as the first step for me to learn more slowly in the future.

Thank You.
You are very warm as a place for me to ask if there are problems in the learning stage, are you willing?
Everyone is willing to help you out. Aside from the stickies that's being posted in here as a suggestion for you to read about wallets.

You can also go directly to: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet?step=5

That's a link for wallets that you may want to use and being suggested. It's composed of hardware, desktop and mobile wallets.
1091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take Part in Gambling Lotteries ? on: April 16, 2023, 11:27:42 PM
I take part in lotteries but I usually do not make a lot of hope to win a lottery. Participating n the lottery is the easiest thing but getting a win out of it may be the most difficult thing. By the way, its fun participating in online lotteries.
You said it right that most of us have a slim chance to win in a lottery but regardless of that, many still get those tickets and tries their luck with it. Yeah, it's fun but it's like the result of it had already been decided for the majority not to win.

Of course, if you take part in a lottery, you would track its progress and the result. Although i do not think that i am too lucky to win a lottery but still I keep looking for the results and see if any day i would win something big.

What if, I get a chance to participate in a lottery without any investment?
If any gambling site offers, free of cost entry in the lottery, i would definitely not miss that one. Smiley
That's also one of the fun part, you get to have fun getting those free lottery tickets from giveaways and there's that essence of having it freely and you're not going to worry whether you win or not, as long as you've taken that for free.

Anyway, I don't usually get into lotteries and I know that it's fun but I'm done with that part so I'd just say good luck to you as you track your progress with it.
1092  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need help on: April 16, 2023, 10:19:12 PM
Just ask the contractor to pay you in cash if that's what you like to get paid and if it's written on your contract on how much you should receive then they should honor your contract and what was signed on the deal.

But if it's in the contract and the payment will be in bitcoin, you still worry not because it's still money that you can easily convert into your local cash, you just need to find local markets where you can convert that.
1093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 15, 2023, 10:49:19 PM
Two days has passed for the Group Stage 2 of Dream League. There are still 5 days left but it's just so fun to see the current standings that the remaining teams are.

It doesn't determine yet anything but I think when April 18 matches are done, we'll get to see some shed on who are those teams that will proceed to the playoffs since only 4 of them will proceed there.
1094  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price movement with a millino on: April 15, 2023, 08:39:06 PM
The market cap of bitcoin is $580+B and moving a million of dollars is nothing compared to what you're thinking that it can move the price.

There's a huge money that needs to be moved if someone needed to make some price motion. And $1M isn't just enough for doing that. Maybe a billion or two can make some difference but $1M, won't.
1095  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: April 14, 2023, 02:54:48 PM
I'm just asking for my deposited sum amount. Nothing else.
There's already the hint from jolly about your situation. And see the trust feedback that they've got on their main account. But just to save your time and effort, here's the quote for you.

They'll just put you into the loop that your request has been sent to the higher ups and specialists that are going to solve your problem. But in reality, there's no one that's gonna take care of your concern.

Well, it's a miracle if they do that for you.
1096  Economy / Gambling / Re: justbit.io asks for KYC (they site say NO KYC) then confiscates my winnings on: April 14, 2023, 12:31:31 PM
No reason, they just informed me that I can withdraw just my deposit
Then you better withdraw that before they change their mind. It's better to take it back than having back with nothing. These rules are sometimes tricky and if you've found it before that it's a no-kyc rule then always apply now that every rule can be changed anytime by the developers.

I understand that it's frustrating that you can't take the winnings but just get first what you can get and that's okay at least based on the situation that you're with on that casino and then go somewhere if you still want to gamble that truly has no-kyc upon withdrawal.

But then, every casino has their own rule that depending on them, they might ask you kyc at anytime as well.
1097  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [List] Instant exchanges on: April 14, 2023, 10:35:17 AM
You should be able to access the site with an Indian VPN, I just did.

But as mentioned in the previous page, it doesn't look like they're operating as an instant exchange anymore. It's just fiat (INR) <> crypto app now and they recently launched "CoinSwitch Pro"[1] which acts as an aggregator for CEXes (Indian ones only) and is meant for arbitrage trading.

[1] https://www.entrepreneur.com/en-in/news-and-trends/coinswitch-pro-launches-its-multi-exchange-trading/439758
I remember now, I was able to see its transition from focusing on India's INR and saw that change of being a coinswitch PRO. By this means, it's no longer part of the list as it's no longer an instant exchange. Yes, I saw that you've removed it now on the list, thanks.

I left them a neg because they had lots of scam accusations around, including in their ANN thread, and they never bothered to come around to resolve them. Even their trust pilot is full of accusation to this date.

Initially they had a main account that got banned for some reason, and then they decided to use a couple of Alt accounts as reps, but they would still not resolve issues amicably, or they would just ignore the complaints

Maybe the ban made them abandon the forum.
Probably and they wouldn't mind anymore as they've transitioned and focused into their local market and I guess the forum doesn't mean anything to them anymore.

But despite that, they all started being popular in here though the main market of theirs is no longer gonna come from here.
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 13, 2023, 09:09:43 PM
Yes. Nigma Galaxy is already out of the DreamLeague.

The comeback of Miracle didn't do any good on them and still, they're out of it. The sets of the teams that qualifies for the Stage 2 of DL was almost done, we still got some tiebreakers waiting ahead.

Talon Esports is also out and I think this make sense because they need to prepare for the Berlin Major. While Execration is on a tiebreaker against Team Aster.

There some pro players to telling that the nigma will only rise up because of the miracle show and some of them is right imagine the nigma can't even manage to win at the Ti if there's no miracle and matumbaman we saw them already with a good play and if you check MC performance once he gets rekt in the game he can't manage anymore to play and also with the decision making of kuro takes too much serious in-game but in draft quite not effective due to having an improper counters.
But not anymore, Miracle is out again. Matumbaman is actually a good player and we saw how he contributed to them before and also to Team Liquid where he has transferred but then he's retired and is for good.

I think what's the best for the team is for Kuro to be out and then just lead the team as their coach or analyst and then let another talent gets in for their pos 1, someone who's too fierced yet careful.

They've got all the experiences already but meta and updates are changing and they might have hard time coping up with it.
1099  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [List] Instant exchanges on: April 13, 2023, 09:49:26 AM
Are you guys still able to use coinswitch? Even if I use a VPN or not, it's not allowing me to access the website. I've used them before and was having no issue at all until I can't access them anymore and I don't know if some changes have made.

I've checked their ANN thread and saw that their rep left a neg rep by logfiles. Probably there's a relation to why it's no longer accessible and if so, I guess it should be removed from the list.
1100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffett Blasts Bitcoin as 'Gambling Token' as BTC Surges 35% in 30 Days on: April 13, 2023, 07:34:28 AM
It's true that many people like to get into the get rich quick schemes but he's definitely pointing and barking at the wrong tree. Well, let's just give him what he wants as he's already old and I also acknowledge him as an investment genius.

But it's never going to change that he'll say something good about bitcoin because he's a guy that's into traditional investments and there's nothing wrong with that.

However, he should stop talking nonsense about bitcoin.
