2041  Economy / Economics / Re: The panic seller irony on: September 10, 2017, 04:23:11 PM
I know some coworkers that sold BTC today, they are real casuals, they got into BTC because they heard it went up a lot, they don't know even to set a local wallet so they store their coins on Coinbase or wherever the fuck they buy at.

Well, they sold today at at the dip near the $4000 double bottom.

The irony is, these casuals are the ones that are always complaining about how it's unfair that BTC is distributed in the hands of few whales, YET, they are the ones that constantly panicsell and give their cheap BTC back to these same hands they are complaining about, because guess who is profiting the most on these dumps: whales. They buy lots of cheap BTC.

If you want whales to stop having so much BTC, don't panic sell or you will keep feeding them. Just focus on your own portfolio and keep stacking BTC on the dips. In the long term, we will win.

Nice!
I am literally unable to decipher why the investors who invest in Bitcoin with sole motive of making profits, sell off their coins in such situations!!  Huh
Aren't they aware about the past of Bitcoin where it surpasses all FUDs and obstacles and touched new ATHs frequently!
Bitcoin investment isn't a game of day or two. You need to hold your heart and wait for right time to sell otherwise Bitocoin will be accumulated with few giants and market will start puppeting on their strings.

2044  Local / Esercizi commerciali / Re: what do you think will be the future of this market? on: September 08, 2017, 04:19:39 PM
I think that for the development of bitcoin is not necessarily the adoption of the government, it is enough not to prohibit its use in the country. He anonymous currency and acceptance can deprive him of such a function.

I somewhat agree with you. If someone ask me whether you wanna see Bitcoin to be legal or illegal, I would say 'just leave it as it is'.
In almost all countries, governments have check when people trade Bitcoins for fiat currencies. I think this is enough to fulfil governments' concern. It would be good if Bitcoin ecosystem remain out of any kind of regulation either in positive or negative sense.

2046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Use Cases on: September 05, 2017, 06:35:42 PM
3-   Stable coin           : Bitcoin, LTE Coin

Wait!! Where is stability when Bitcoin fluctuates $1000 (+/-) in a day where $1000 is equal to 20-25% of total value!
Stability is no where in BTC dictionary.
However, if you wanna choose one, the most stable cryptocurrency at present is USDT (Tether) whose value is pegged to $1.
2047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: September 05, 2017, 06:23:52 PM
Bitcoin has just started and still has to reach a huge population. It is not dying anytime soon. But if anyhow Bitcoin dies, then definitely the whole cryptocurrency market will die. Bitcoin dominates the cryptocurrency market and is the main medium for buying altcoins. People trust altcoins because of the success of Bitcoin only.

This is partially right.
Let us assume Case 1 where governments of majority countries put ban on Bitcoin. Then it is automatic that other coins will have to die as there existence will be considered illegal too.
Now come to Case 2. Suppose Bitcoin technologies become outdated and it no longer remains profitable mining it. Sooner or later everyone will abandon Bitcoin chain but on contrary other coins will cherish.
2048  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm new to trading and haven't invested yet, is the dip over? on: September 05, 2017, 06:08:08 PM
Such dip moments are quite often in crypto world. If you keep waiting for similar moments and postpone your investment, your friend may wave another half million on your face.
Better invest in crypto now and let the game begin.
About last day dip. It was less of real loss and more of speculative loss. Investors were just panic and sold their coins in hurry but now panic is over.
2049  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long do you think the bear market will last? How do you forget about BTC? on: September 05, 2017, 05:26:00 PM
How long do you think the bear market will last? I need to find a way to forget about bitcoin so I can get back to work, its really distracting not looking at the price every hour or so.

Bitcoin is never off bearish market from last 3 years. Yeah, there were some downward deflections like one at present but all of 'em were due to temporary reasons. For future, I can ascertain bear will last till moon!! Currently demand for Bitcoins  has made trade in India at +$1000 premium. Prices are currently around $5000 here. Trend gonna come in other countries coming soon.Wink
And for second question, well that's your private concern. No comments Cheesy
2050  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe governments can stop bitcoin after all on: September 05, 2017, 03:24:10 PM
This is a serious discussion. I mean, after I've seen how bitcoin (and other cryptos as well) got dumped badly after an irrelevant law that makes ICOs illegal. I can only imagine now what would happen If more countries do the same thing and It could get worst by make itself bitcoin illegal. Whether we like to admit it or not, most of people would sell everything they have once its made illegal, some may continue to fight the central banking but the sad reality is that as soon as people start making profits, they will dump it and move on.

There is no doubt that 95% of Bitcoin users will abandon it the day it get banned. But Bitcoin and Blockchain technology aren't much threat to country's economy or laundering.
Whereas ICOs are unregulated form of crowdfunding where government has minimum control over cash inflows/outflows. So there is need that ICOs should regulated or banned, else people will be scammed more often.
2051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it advisable to invest in cryptocurrencies under 1 $(dollar) on: September 05, 2017, 02:47:23 PM
i've been wondering if its realistic to invest in altcoins under one usd.what does the future hold for altcoins like nem, omisego, ripple, dogecoin etc

The <$1 value may not always be taken as negative sign. The supply of the coins listed above is much more than what Bitcoin has so prices are naturally to be lower.
Moreover, when prices are low growth possibility is much more. You can make 50-60x in low value coins while only 5-10x is possible in Bitcoin.
2052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China not only bans new local ICOs but orders liquidation of existing ones on: September 04, 2017, 06:27:11 PM
Then, curious how those Chinese investors liquidate their assets in the crypto world if Chinese government forbid to either invest or liquidate. Maybe they'll forcefully exchange their blockchain asset offshore or else?
I'm just starting to think that it's like a trap given by Chinese government even though the govt themselves want to stop the ICO activities totally, but that's just not right to force their citizens abandoning theirs "digital gold".

And think about prices!
Well today's crash is just speculative reaction to this ban but when Chinese projects who raised funds via ICO will be forced to sell off their assets (most of which will constitute surely of cryptocurrency reserves), prices will further crash more.
It will be interesting to see how market shapes further!

It already is!!
2054  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: September 04, 2017, 06:05:49 PM
Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling.  Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).

Well let me tell you  what I do. See CoinMarketCap, watch all reds, heart start pumping fast, close CoinMarketCap, take deep breath and forget about my money for a while!
There is no fun selling at low (even if dollars price is high while btc is low). If you are following market from 2015, you could easily recognize that Bitcoin and alts have very fast bullish-bearish swap time.
So $4600 isn't a bad move at all. Be patient and you soon will be dancing for your move. Cheesy
2055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin has enemy (except altcoin) what is it? on: September 04, 2017, 05:46:29 PM
You can tell me anything what's bitcoin worst enemy is...

Mine is, government!

Well government is never an enemy to Bitcoin. It is just a protective body and always take precautionary steps for well-being of folks.
In my views biggest enemy to Bitcoins are those forces which are trying to be giant (popularly called whales) and making themselves central in Bitcoin ecosystem. Such people can be miners, exchanges or even individuals.
They are creating direct impact of centralisation and diluting the vision of Bitcoin as decentralized.
Increased Bitcoin fees, next time think of miners autonomy first before blaming mempool congestion....  Undecided
2056  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need blockchain technology? on: September 04, 2017, 05:08:55 PM
Hello everyone.
When I see there are too many ICO and shitcoins on novaexchange. I keep asking myself: do we really need blockchain technology?
In case of Bitcoin. Of course, I agree.
What about ETH? I agree too.
But, have a look at the others on the market. I don't even know why should people use their service. There is no real use in real life.
An ad management system on blockchain? - We already had Google Ads & Facebook Ads.
A social network on blockchain? (steem) - Do we? I don't see anything but a centralized forum hosted on a random hosting using its currency to pay for the writers.
There are too many projects  that we don't really need it on blockchain.
Sometimes, I think there is a black swan (Blockchain is useless in real life) lurking around.
Please enlighten me.

It is nowhere written that blockchain technology is limited to cryptocurrency projects.
Let me give you example of most used and famous financial institution - BANK.

Starting with total expenditure. In one study it is proven that if bank transfer their data from random softwares to blockchain and operate completely on it, expenditure will decrease by 80-90%. If so happen just imagine interest rate, they will shrink within 5% or less!!

Coming to lack in accuracy and paper work. Both will become history if banks completely switch to blockchain.

It is wrong to weight potential of blockchain technology just in ICOs and cryptocurrencies. There are much more areas to explore. Wink
2057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO]COSS Token Swap on: September 04, 2017, 03:54:03 PM
Please,ask me,Bounty end??
IСO will last 3 more days, most likely at the same time the bounty company will end

Looks like the fake info. The official site says token swap ends in 1 day 20 hrs xx minutes xx seconds.

The bounties have been already ended while ICO will last till 6th Sept. If you guys take a time and notice spreadsheet, you will find that manager is updating sheet with last 2 weeks stakes.
However, this tweet from coss is misleading but it is advisable not to join now or you will get no stakes -

2058  Economy / Economics / Re: I want to invest 1000 USD into crypto on: September 04, 2017, 03:24:19 PM
Alright, let's say I have a budget of 1000 USD and I want to invest it into cryptocurrency. Is it better to buy my own setup and mine or do cloud mining or should I buy some coins directly ? What cryptocurrency might be the best for long-term profit ? I am willing to lose that money (although I would be sad ofc) but I wanna somehow start with cryptos since I believe it has got a great future.

Among the three options you mentioned, I believe buying cryptocurrencies is most feasible one.
The 99.99% of cloud mining sites are scam and rest 0.01% are nothing more than long-term investment platform while $1000 is too low for mining and it may not be remunerative.
Now coming to best coins. While don't invest on others recommendation, do your own study and choose the ones you think best. But keep in mind, don't go for small cap coins
2059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO][PCA][BOUNTY] GROWERS INTERNATIONAL TWITTER CAMPAIGN [250 GRWI WINNER!] on: September 04, 2017, 01:42:12 AM
when the bounty rewards will be distribute to all parricipant? the cpa is over more than a week ago, but the reward distribution is still in 32th ?
before I apologize for my question sir

You need to be patient. I think it is one of the best way to distribute bounty. I have seen many campaigns paying thousands of participants in a day and eventually price get killed as participants dump their coins.
But paying in batches of 5-7 participants will help neutralizing this impact. You are in next batch. See OP hasn't been online from 2 days, once he comr, you will be paid.
2060  Economy / Economics / Re: Five common mistakes made by Bitcoin users on: September 03, 2017, 04:01:39 PM
1. Do not remember electronic wallet password
2. Do not back up your wallet
3. Do not research new services
4. Buy and sell based on feelings
5. Leave your money in the electronic money floor

Well said!
However in case of electronic wallets, first can be easily eliminated by simply clicking 'forget password'.
I would like to add some more-
6. Invest in Bitcoin Doublers (do you smell greed!! )
7. Invest in every other ICO (did you smell greed again !!)
8. Invest by following pump/dump groups (ahh! Thats too much of greed. ) Cheesy
