2041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin vs binance Coin on: July 26, 2021, 05:39:41 PM
You're wasting your time by comparing those coins. Binance is the most power full exchange coin right now even the countries were also against this exchange site caused by they were feeling worried binance will be making domination. Litecoin is just a coin that called by its supporter as the silver of crypto but i can't agree with it right now.
A good coin must have usability but if it doesn't and it's a bad coin.

Most powerful exchange coin maybe right now thanks to defi on BSC but once everyone gets tired of defi fad and realize (again) that utility is what is important long term people will fly off and go back to ETH.

Plus now Binance is getting attacked in many countries, so they will have to do a lot to regain lost confidence. And that is a tough game,,, when most of their users are hype people.
2042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am not investing in Bitcoin, I am staying with Altcoins on: July 26, 2021, 05:04:46 PM
Better they speculate on alts and dump them, proving Bitcoin stronger with every dump.

As an investor, we have our own choice on how to manage our funds, and if one decided to invest on altcoins than in bitcoin, I say it's not wrong, they just realize and they feel that they'll be more profitable investing in altcoins than in bitcoin. In fact, they are right if they think that way because there are altcoins that has a huge increase during the bull run this year while bitcoin only increase less than 10x from its cheapest price in 2019.

Investors and speculators are not necessary the same things. Of course an investor takes the same risk to capital but they take those risks after weighing in on the benefits and then usually they have a long term vision that comes into years of risk.

Speculators we talk about in altcoins are hardly like this. They are in it for quick profits and nothing else. They look at tokenomics and market potential rather than strong fundamentals as investors do.
2043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 26, 2021, 03:34:43 PM
I mentioned this in another thread, it is not just Sterling, but their best creative force last season apart from KDB (Mahrez) who is still at he peak of his power. Sterling still young also Jesus. To give all of those in return for another striker who always gets injured does not seem like good business for them,,, but of course sounds good to me. As much as I love Kane, if he wants to go, he better.
Different position Sterling and Harry Kane then both player can play on the same time like England on EURO 2020, I think if Manchester City want get Harry Kane is good because they not extended with Sergio Aguero and left one forward Gabriel Jesus, but I heard rumors Gabriel Jesus will barter for Harry Kane as deal with Tottenham Hotspur, better sell Jesus than Sterling because I see Sterling is best creative player for Manchester City.

But if you saw EURO, then you saw a waste of talent. Kane is a target man,,, and he was the one doing his best to provide service (like look at their final especially for 2 beautiful examples of defence splits with his crazy passing on the ground, swerving and curling on the grass.

If he joins City he might be doing more of that but really he needs to be in front of goal and given good service:)
2044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin losing its importance on: July 26, 2021, 03:02:52 PM
From majority of the posts in response to the thread statement I find the meaning Bitcoin isn't losing its importance by the influencers. These influencers has got the ability to make variations in the market, but the same doesn't cause anything in its importance. The importance of bitcoin is much associated with the usage and the real-time application. These influencers can't make anything on the usage and real-time application of bitcoin, agreed on the fact.

Influencers have influence and that is all they have. And to be fair,,, they deserve what they have, and the people they influence deserve what they get. But influencers cannot sustain and cannot last, especially if they do things to preserve self gain, eventually their followers get wise and stop getting influenced.

This is what I love about Bitcoin. No influencers. Only temporary fadsters.
2045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Pre-sale] Sovryn - Brings DeFi to Bitcoin on: July 26, 2021, 01:56:51 PM
CEX is not bringing more users, but more speculators.
Can you deny the fact that if the crypto users were getting centralized on the centralized exchange site? That's the only way to attract more users. Being too idealistic was not good for the ecosystem.
We were living on the speculative market. users = speculators

Again,,, I am talking about users versus speculators.

Users have their own wallet and use it for other things like spending for shopping or food, or whatever it is, or even sending each other payments over the blockchain.

If you are on an exchange, you are selling and buying,,, and not even making blockchain transactions.

Users are not speculators. Proof? Altcoins and Defi.
2046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Devcoin, the third ever altcoin turns 10 years old, 7/22/2021. It remains active on: July 26, 2021, 01:21:40 PM
Wow, totally never heard of this,,, but I think OP you have to admit, it may be active now but it was inactive for a long time if most people have never heard of it and most exchanges (I want to say all but let us just say it could be listed somewhere now) do not have it.

I have lately been seeing a few new old coins popping up and reactivating. Wishing you all good luck.
2047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon is looking to accept Bitcoin payments by the end of the year on: July 26, 2021, 12:48:04 PM
I would love if amazon opened up to more of the world now,,, at the moment if you are from certain countries you will not get it available to you. Accepting Bitcoin means nothing if they do not open up the restrictions. Same if they have Amazon coin,,, what is the use if you cannot even access the service?
2048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: July 26, 2021, 08:07:53 AM
I support Ethereum because of they vision. But the fees too much cost for me, I am not rich to carrying the fees. For me Ethereum now is for the rich persons. Its not recommended to newbies and investors who has small amount of capital to invest.
Ethereum is the blockchain on which the majority of DeFi decentralized finance projects and NFTs are active. Recently, the biggest problem with ETH is the high fee per transaction. This has long been a controversial topic due to network congestion. But we don't need to worry: Ethereum London hard fork: The upgrade will make significant changes to Ethereum's transaction fee system. Ethereum London hard fork scheduled to take place on August 4.

Ethereum is not about "for rich or for poor" just because of high gas fees. Which are not that high now compared to before anyway,,, I think if you move to a new chain JUST for fees you are making someone else rich, especially if it is centralized like BSC or even those Layer 2 like Polkadot, these are just rich people getting all your fees.
2049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Data PROVES It: The Wealthy Were BUYING, As Amateurs Sold In Fear... on: July 26, 2021, 07:06:55 AM
"Data" Huh
Common, just lol, somebody looked at addresses, and if in some ranges have grown more than addresses with a lower balance they have decided some are whales and some are amateurs.

Simple question, if I consolidate all the dust I have in 7 addresses of under 1BTC and send it to my main address what would it mean?
That seven fishes got eaten by an otter? I would be more of that change was because of the drop in fees than the "amateur" selling.
The same thing for bigger addresses, this doesn't mean some investors are buying from "amateurs" it might simply mean that amateurs are being from exchanges and leaving their coins there, as a real amateur would do!
`

Exactly,,, even when I look at my history, it is maybe starting from 1 wallet, then to 5 then today more than 20 all together, and not counting the different addresses I use at different services and exchanges.

Am I suppose to become one big trout or salmon if I combine inputs from wallets? And if I sweep everything to an exchange does the whale eat up all my small fish and this means I sold in fear? Of course not:)
2050  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: July 26, 2021, 06:35:13 AM
What exactly are you trying to say here? Use your own intellect? The whole point of trading is not to follow your instinct or intellect but to follow what the numbers tell you to go, depending on the strategy you use.
As a trader, you need to know when to sell and how to set targets to gain profit. It depends on your strategy on how do you use it or how you do it. If you have made a decent profit, which means anything more than a doubling and tripling of your initial investment based on your latest price, then given the recent volatility many personal finance experts say it maybe a good time to sell an amount equal to your original investment up to 50% of your holdings.

After my comment talking about most people here spewing nonsense and clearly demonstrating that they actually have either never traded or do not even know what they are talking about, I have 3 more people quoting and spewing more nonsense.

You,,, show me one expert who says what you did, since you are saying there are many such experts:)
2051  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbet.io - Main sponsor of Southampton FC on: July 26, 2021, 06:09:24 AM
Having another competitor in crypto in EPL is good for everyone!
Yeah and I sincerely wish we stop talking about other casino & sportsbook on this thread, Steve might not like that for a valid reason Smiley.

Sportsbet have a mobile app that is far superior to other sportsbook and some don't even have one. The withdrawals from sportsbet have always been free for me which means a LOT for a small gambler like me who usually plays with USDT.

I think the promotions & bonuses can improve but there are plenty already and there are boosted odds which no other sportsbook offers, at least not yet.

I think it is fine to talk about others as I have seen it done a lot of times,,, and respect to SB for allowing it,,, when most others do not and censor talk of competitors. But you are right of course, always focus on yourself and not others.

Totally correct on free withdrawals (and can I mention fast like 2 minutes or something?) and boosted odds and stuff. Unbeatable and may that long be so:)
2052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 26, 2021, 04:54:33 AM

If I had such an opportunity, I would have taken Ronaldinho to the team. The way he played, his play-style, his dribbling I still miss. I really love this player. I would have been fascinated by the pairing of Ronaldinho and Messi in Barcelona. Together these two had the ability to knock down any team's defense. Who would you choose?

I am not watching much of Barcelona but I always feel like there was a huge missed opportunity with Ronaldinho, so I agree here,,, this is the one guy to bring back BUT first to fix his problems off the field. He was SO good with all his issues imagine if he was even half as disciplined as Messi is, how much more he would bring.

I love all players who give us good memories:)
2053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am not investing in Bitcoin, I am staying with Altcoins on: July 23, 2021, 01:39:04 PM
Just let them be and its their money to burn not ours even though investing on top coins like bitcoin and some top alts is more worth but there are still people who do really love to face risk
and rather play with fire with those non so popular coins but its really a gamble if i were to say but we cant deny that there would be chances to make big profits if the said project would
really able to fly but those only good for short term but there are people who do really love to play with fire to earn money and its their choice.
Its just how people would able to accept risks.

Exactly. If people want to part with their money,,, we should let them.

I know it is cruel and sad to think like this but on the other hand,,, if you spent time convincing them, they would never be convinced unless you are a kid on TikTok telling them shitcoins are bad,,, which of course Tiktok kids are not doing:)

Better they speculate on alts and dump them, proving Bitcoin stronger with every dump.
2054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 23, 2021, 01:06:15 PM
There is no way that Sterling would be given to Tottenham, you are taking a step back if you do that, and yeah getting Kane is great and all but if you are giving your best players for it then you are not improving at all.

I would say that a huuuuge amount of money could be done by City because they have so much money, and they had this financial fair play problem that caused them to be banned but then pandemic happened and it was postponed I suppose or maybe even cancelled, so they can use all that leftover from those time till now to buy Kane, they really have a lot. They can afford as much as 300 million, not that they will pay that, but they can "afford" that much, so that means it is all about how much Spurs want for Kane and how much City is willing to pay, it is not about if he will leave or not because it is obvious that they could definitely get him if they want to.

2055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Watch Live Here : Elon Musk Event 21/7/2021 on: July 23, 2021, 11:37:10 AM
Why is everyone so focused on price? Bitcoin is greater than the price or a temporary decline, the price has collapsed by more than 90% several times and the popularity of Bitcoin is still strong so there is no need to fear.
It's the first time I've heard good discussion on so many points other than trying to change them history (they've known Bitcoin since 2009 or 2011) they've talked about very good points.

Unfortunately, none of them focused on the aspect of privacy or promoting decentralization, which is something that should be seriously addressed to everyone who wants to invest.

The neverending and eternal question in Crypto.

At least with Bitcoin you do have good users every day,,, some building the tech, others securing the network, and then the little people just using and transacting and slowly building fundamentals of adoption with their individual acts.

Taproot is the result of the privacy aspect discussion though is it not?
2056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Pre-sale] Sovryn - Brings DeFi to Bitcoin on: July 23, 2021, 11:04:12 AM
Is it going to be the same now also..? I feel we need more users to know about SOV, so it will be a good thing to list it somewhere.
Some people in the telegram group were saying they have been seeing yago was calling for the cex but it's not clear about what will be the time for sov to be listed on the centralized exchange site.
I do agree with you can we can't do deny the fact that if cex will be bringing more users to use SOV. These days the competition of bitcoin defi is really strict.
A centralized exchange site like binance will give massive token holders and exposure

Does anyone else not find it ironic that all these socalled decentralized coins/tokens are all talking about listing on centralized exchanges?

What happened to sovereignty and decentralized goals? Are DEX tradings and Liquidity Pools now not enough for them?

CEX is not bringing more users, but more speculators.

2058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid using LATOKEN and Cointiger to buy any altcoins. on: July 23, 2021, 09:02:19 AM
I mentioned a couple of days on another thread (new ANN) that LATOKEN is a verified scam. And I do not mean just bad trustpilot reviews,,, but even in 2018 and 2019 already several Coin Analysis type of investigation companies found them out to be scams. Their representatives and employees were at conferences running pure scams and ponzis and promising fake volumes.

I do not understand how they are STILL running so spread the word.

2059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all the currencies in the movie are Bitcoin? on: July 23, 2021, 07:57:52 AM
Cool, if the coins paid in the movie are cryptocurrency, it means that cryptocurrency has been widely used in daily life. Fortunately, the lightning network payment is fairly convenient now, otherwise it will take a long time to pay for a pizza. However, no movie will specifically talk about Bitcoin, only a few shots.

It is not cool it is stupid. Notice how stupid stuff is mentioned in movies a lot,,, it makes all of us cringe to hear something being spoken about so casually on films that they are no longer accurate.

LN is fairly convenient but not yet fairly adopted.

I bet you never paid for pizza with Bitcoin in your life:P
2060  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: July 23, 2021, 07:33:10 AM
I get a headache reading your responses sometimes you guys sprout a lot of nonsense,,, I mean the question is clearly asking when to sell and you know.

And so few answers are actually helpful:P

Trading is always done with your own intellect when others follow the rules, nothing is learned and the wrong signals are given. It is easy to know the trading strategies if you go ahead by applying your own knowledge and skills so that you can know the right time to sell the big businessmen move forward based on their own experience.

What exactly are you trying to say here? Use your own intellect? The whole point of trading is not to follow your instinct or intellect but to follow what the numbers tell you to go, depending on the strategy you use.

Big businessmen my ass:P
