So I just got scammed by Roobet For over $2,000 and my account got locked
Full information in my Scam accusation thread
They're forcing me to verify, and I did that too, and after verification they still didn't let me withdraw my funds
Please, don't play on Roobet until they solve the issue, they can do this with whoever they want
By the way, I was pushed to verify for Level 2, I even verified for level 3, and they still don't let me withdraw my money
See if the support team has asked to wait for 2-3 days then you need to wait for some time as they need to look into the technical as well wagering slips so don't just blame them bluntly. There are many players who are wagering over Roobet and it's legit casino and they have thousands of dollars giveaways so do you think they will block your $2k only? The issue will be solved and if you are at wrong then it will be your mistake. yes, it's weird to think such a big website would lock an account for 2,000 and keep it locked even after the user comply on the long run they can make much more money if they run the business in an ethical way. Its not weird for a big casino to lock the funds of a user if they find something strange on his account. Maybe for user who got this issue he should comply what roobet team ask because for this it will make the issue solve. And there's no really needed to mock up here if Roobet ask something for verification because those are important so that they can see if there's a problem with the users end. oh maybe I didn't express myself so clearly I agree that locking the account to verify is not weird what I meant is that the casino would risk losing a huge user base and all their reputation because of a 2,000 USD account, since they make much more money on the long run by their good reputation alone attracting new costumers.

Maybe we are not there yet, but I think in the future , trying to avoid gambling platforms with KYC can be dangerous. Scammers will be trying to exploit this, almost irrational, fear of losing privacy, offering platforms with no KYC.
All require the process of implementing KYC regulations like in previous exchange platforms, everyone refuses to provide personal data but when the top exchange raises the status of the obligation to verify KYC to access deposits and withdrawals, the other alternative is to just trade on other lower volume exchanges. So gambling platforms must ensure that KYC is harmless and will not be misused for negative purposes, ensure that user data can be encrypted and stored in external data (not online) to increase the security system from hackers. I think that is one of the main concerns of individuals who doesn't want to provide their KYC in any services. Just like what we have heard horror stories in the past years wherein KYC was asked by the exchanges and then they don't know how to protect it as the data has been stolen. EU for example have this one: https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection/data-protection-eu_enBut so far though, I haven't heard any crypto gambling platform being hacked or our data being leaked. And hopefully there are storing those data of their customers in a safe place and one of reach by anyone. We cannot sure about the safety of our data and it’s good that Duelbits still free from KYC though it can still be asked later on but I’m confident that we can be more secured with Duelbits. Thought the concern is the safety which is I understand why, let’s just hope for the best and hoping that any crypto gambling site will protect our data to the highest security, this is a big concern for everyone. yes, we need to start dissociating a website having KYC with it being safer it usually falls in that common matrix there are safe websites and good teams with KYC there are safe websites and good teams without KYC there are bad websites and bad teams with KYC there are bad websites and bad teams without KYC there are many other situations where we can apply this small matrix

Since the article talking about lower risk gambling, they're correct to suggest only use 1% of their income and since they're have limited money to gamble, that's why they give guide to only play 4 times in a month and stick with 2 games. I think everyone don't mind if they loss 1% of their money, not all people are afford to risk their 10% of their income because each people have different risk management and how much the income they got.
IMO there's no limit to gamble, as long as you're not become an addict and already think every risk you've taken, you're fine.
the thing is that the line that separates habits from addiction is thinner for some people each one will have to figure out what is their safe dose knowing that if they go to far from the line (and become addicted) it may be hard to get back to a healthy state

people are probably better investing than gambling if they aim to make money investing is the way to go if they see gambling as a source of entertainment then 1% is probably too low
household income is a good metric but I'd think of total money invested too maybe someone's income is low but they already have enough saved for the future. then they can gamble a bit more

On Royalties: A wonderful tool that doesn't quite fit, and what comes next

still waiting to be convinced that sports betting isn't just a big random game with really small odds of mastering and similar to day trading somehow (90%+ losing money and max 10% winning on the long run)
anyone?

@Haunebu while there’re casino’s that do not follow KYC, but would you be able to trust them when they don’t follow their own country basic laws so what’s to say that they won’t scam their user’s, and thus in Roobet’s case we know that they follow the law and thus they can be trusted.
Who gives a crap about the laws of my country? This is crypto gambling where we are supposed to be able to gambler anonymously without any form of interference from a centralised authority. Also, I already told you that my friends were able to withdraw big amounts from various sites without submitting any form of KYC which proves that they are trustworthy. there are several different styles of businnes some will want to comply with international loss and others will be more anarchic up to the user to choose where they want to bet Roobet has KYC so if users want to play there they will have to comply each owner makes the rules in their houses.

impressive to see the difference in chance of winning by Palmeiras if compared to the other teams thanks a lot for sharing rdluffy

this is the point AI will take the mathematical and logical approach and some things are beyond this domain bluffing is one of them even though AI can calculate the odds of determined combination of cards being the winner, top poker players can also do it winning on poker is not about it, it's way more
totally different game than chess makes sense?
While it is difficult to guess exactly how an AI can bluff we can look at how humans do it to give ourselves an idea of how it may be done, for example in a book about small stakes poker a technique that is recommended for newbies on the game to bluff from time to time is extremely simple, before you begin to play you select a few cards at random from the deck, if you have the impression your opponent has you beat but they do not have the nuts and you see one of the cards you selected beforehand on the community cards then you bluff, this system is extremely simplistic but it helps newbies by forcing them to bluff from time to time and make their playing style more aggressive and unpredictable, so I think that an AI has a more advanced series of rules which allows it to make a far better use of the bluff. got curious about it and went to search and seems like you're right Researchers reveal how poker playing AI beat the best human playersAI just beat the world’s 4 best poker players: What it meansseems like there's no hope for humans when playing against the machines what games are next? do you think AI robots will be able to beat humans on complex sports?

I don't think employers must ask such a thing unless the job description is related to finance. As long as the job description doesn't include the financial management of the company, I don't think asking about that private matter would be important. As long as the employee is providing a good service and gives his best performance at work, his gambling background doesn't have to be a big deal.
point is, a gambler addict, or alcoholic/drug addict wouldn't be able to manage finances well on a company, let's say? food for thought maybe they can have emotional control and some dose of escapism some people will probably be able to separate work and personal life.

So no one can ensure that level 2 is needed to ask for withdrawal? actually I just contacted support to ask about this problem But I was surprised when the robot said the team would respond in the next few hours https://imgur.com/7RuhPkI now we are wondering, what happened? Now it's not a weekend that there must be staff waiting to respond. Did you ever hear back from the support team on this? I am interested to know if anything has changed regarding the KYC requirements for withdrawing funds. Probably still a level 1 KYC since I help my friend to withdraw some funds and he is able to get money right away. Maybe level can only be asked once you have bigger capital but if you just withdraw small funds, then I think level 1 will do. Though it is still better if the Roobet itself confirm this one, unfortunately they are no longer active here. Just have level 1 KYC provided on Roobet and all went fine so most provably this one also fine to other who don't deposit a lot of money on their account. And also I think its fine to do that especially if you are a low baller who just want to have fun, I guess for more clarification about this and to get accurate answer maybe the person doubting about this should ask their support to get the answer what he wants. yes, I agree that level 1 KYC on roobet is just fine and probably enough for most of occasional users for heavy users or users playing with bigger volume than level 2 may be needed up to each one to choose
