Hey i sell my small amount on 405 and then buy on 368 i have earn some small amount not mych but still you have to earn something

smart move to play the market. many people see this drop as something bad while you can use this price drop to buy more at lower prices. what seems to be not so good, turns out to be a great opportunity.

i agree with magicmexican ^ there is nothing wrong with just holding if you have planned well enough in the past. for instance if you have bought when the price was stable and low at ~$200 then you have nothing to worry about and you will earn profit in the future.
selling in these bumps is only good for people who are trading on daily basis and have coins at the ready to risk with each price change.

holding is indeed the best option. i have been holding all my coins as well. i just used the price drop in my advantage to buy myself some more coins. and these coins will also be kept for the long term.
2062  Economy / Speculation / Re: PANIC BUYING !!!!!!! on: January 17, 2016, 01:06:49 PM
i can suggests to you to not to sell your btc because there prices will starts to grow soon

the heavy panic selling that we have seen seems to have ended. it will be interesting to see how fast we can go back to the +$400 level again. and when we are there, how long can we maintain it without seeing the price fall down to sub $400 again.
2063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WTF ? 1000 BTC transfers in last block? on: January 17, 2016, 01:03:01 PM
1000 btc transactions aren't interesting when you have seen transactions of at least 100,000 btc. transactions lower than 5,000 are quite common.
2064  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will hold on , no matter what. on: January 17, 2016, 12:49:50 PM
no matter price back to around $200 again, i think if price drop to $200 many investor will leave and bitcoin will die.

many investors will leave when the price is reaching $200? i think it's the other way around. plenty of investors will see it as a great moment to step in and make a lot profits. bitcoin will not even die when the price is $1. there will always be miners that will keep mining. as long as it has value, it has a purpose. bitcoin will only die when all miners shut down their hardware and people close all their full nodes. that's when bitcoin dies.

2066  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin drops $60 on: January 17, 2016, 12:38:37 PM
Cryptsy.... is 100% the reason.  For better or worse I still believe they are not thieves and just got screwed and are trying to fix the situation... We should start looking for who took those 10k BTC and 300K LTC..

Yes, I agree. I believe this massive dump started because of Craptsy. They are saying they got hacked, but it is just a move to enable them to dump all the BTC and LTC they stole from us. The Hack think is all a charade to fool us to believe they were hacked when in the reality they are a bunch of conniving bastards.

all the unregulated exchangers may do that sooner or later. BTC-e, Bitfinex, BTC China, Bitstamp...they can all do the same. They are just shady companies(even they seem "huge") and they can disappear overnight.
why dont people save their bitcoin in cold storage? blame yourselves.

it doesn't matter how much you are telling people to keep their coins in offline storage under their own control. they keep their coins in exchanges because it allows them to just log-in and start trading directly. making deposits can take a hour to get a few confirmations which depends on the exchange. they think they are saving themself some time, but in fact it may cost them their coins. they don't realize that.
2067  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin drops $60 on: January 16, 2016, 01:46:57 PM
seem confused to see price drop around $60 in 2 days, i think this is like manipulated but i'm not sure. i take a risk to buy some coin maybe price will back fast too Smiley

i have bought at various prices when the price was heading down. you just need to do it before the price goes back up.

the coins at various prices that i have bought when the price dipped under $400.

2+ bitcoins at $393
1 bitcoin at $385
1 bitcoin at $360
1 bitcoin at $357

Soon you'll make profits, price will surely go up again. The current low value is sure a price manipulation due to a combination of Crypsty news and Mike Hearn news

i have no doubt that i will make a nice profit once the price comes back up again. i'll hold these coins till the block halving. by that time the price will be much higher than $500. manipulation isn't always bad, it allows us to buy at low rates.
2068  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price? Who is making it? on: January 16, 2016, 01:41:28 PM
most exchanges are following china and that results in the prices being nearly the same except a few exchanges where the difference can be $5-$10 and some times even more than that. different exchanges have different traders, so the price may be a bit different. that allows us to buy up the cheaper coins there, and sell them at the other exchange where the price is fairly higher. it's called arbitrage trading. i have done it a few times by buying at btc-e and selling on bitstamp.
2069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Bitcoin client are you going to be using? on: January 16, 2016, 01:34:40 PM
can they simply fork bitcoin core with the 2mb change and call it bitcoin core? do we really need a fancy name change, and treat it as a simply upgrade of core...

i'm with core, but i would like to get rid of the limit, gradually maybe...

i am also using bitcoin core and will continue doing so, but as you say, there need to be something done with the blocksize issue as all these xt, classic and unlimited versions are just the beginning of a whole new flood of alternatives. what's next, bitcoin final? bitcoin real? bitcoin hd?
2070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has died 88 times on: January 16, 2016, 01:29:52 PM
will there be a special party when bitcoin reaches its 100th death milestone? it's just funny how people think bitcoin is going to die just because of some one ranting about bitcoin. at least it gave us the opportunity to buy some cheap coins.

2072  Economy / Speculation / Re: 400 will not hold on: January 16, 2016, 01:15:11 PM
it will ONLY happen what the big exchangers want. they make the FAKE "book orders" with their bots. they manipulate the market in their own interest. Smiley

so, it will only happen what they want.

this is nothing new. bots have been setting up fake orders since the beginning of bitcoin being tradable on exchanges. it could be done by the exchanges, but also by very large players with their high tier trading bots. the bots with the best algo will bring in the most money. traders with deep pockets hire the best people for creating these bots.
2073  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price fall I need to sell now on: January 16, 2016, 01:09:59 PM
no problem. it's a free market so you can sell or buy whenever you want. i only think you will regret selling as soon as you see the price is recovering back to +$400 levels. also, as long as you are not selling your coins, you don't lose anything.
2074  Economy / Speculation / Re: bad news the price is going down!!! on: January 15, 2016, 02:45:18 PM
the price will definitely recover to above $400, it might take a few days or a bit longer as long as we don't know how deep the price will fall. the market needs to calm down first.
2075  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-01-15] Cryptsy bitcoin exchange announces massive theft and shuts down on: January 15, 2016, 02:39:53 PM
Claiming theft from a cold wallet is BS. If any theft happened from a cold wallet it must have been done by someone at Cryptsy themselves - if it even happened at all. This is yet another repeat of the Gox debacle, & it won't be the last until peeps realize that all exchanges are scams waiting to happen..

It is quite impossible for thief to steal from cold storage. I think that Cryptsy should compensate users for their losses.

it's not impossible at all. the owner(s) of cryptsy are probably the thiefs here. the supposed theft happened back in 2014. they have had enough time to come up with a plan.
2076  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin drops $60 on: January 15, 2016, 02:32:46 PM
it's probably a combination of the cryptsy shut down and the news about mike hearn. the news here reports with big letters "BITCOIN IS ABOUT TO COLLAPSE" due to what mike hearn said. it amazes me time on time again that bad news about bitcoin gets picked up and published very fast, and when bitcoin has some good news, then it takes a few days before the media here writes or say anything about it.
2077  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dip buyers coming in now on: January 15, 2016, 02:20:32 PM
smart traders are having a good time buying all these cheap coins while the sellers are in a heavy panic trip. these guys will end up buying back at +$400 levels. i bought just over 2 bitcoins at $393 and 1 bitcoin at $385. i am quite satisfied now.

Will you still be satisfied tomorrow when it goes sub 350?

why not? i still have around $1000 in my exchange account. for now i am not going to buy more, but if it goes sub $350 then i surely buy again. that's why i never go all in. i always keep money in my account for when the price goes down even more.
2078  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: January 15, 2016, 02:14:21 PM
it's a good move to not sell anything. and btw... it is probably already too late to sell right now. bitstamp's low is $381.35 don't think it will go much lower than that. i am sure the markets will calm down after a few hours.

these altcoin exchanges are doomed. i think this will happen with all altcoin exchanges at some point in the future. it's just a matter of 'when'. i feel bad for the people that lost their coins due to cryptsy shutting down. it is just another warning that people should never keep their coins in their exchange accounts.
