1141  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price go up or down over the next year? on: May 21, 2016, 12:58:16 PM
I think it will go up, the bitcoin is getting bigger these days and I think it will next year globally grow very fast.
There is a high chance it will go to a high amount in my eyes.

Price going up highly depends upon the halving. If this year gets a very big rise without doubt bitcoin will continue to go high by the coming year with its gradual increase that happens regularly.

We don't know how high it will go at the time of halving, but one thing is sure that price will go high in coming months and halving will add more value to it.

i don't think the price will go much higher at all from todays prices. but just out of interest, how high do you realistically think the price will go at the halving day? please don't say $1000.
1142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why hasn't the acceptance of btc by steam spiked the price? on: May 21, 2016, 12:54:10 PM
good news nowadays don't have much impact on the price anymore. also, the block halving is what a lot people here have pointed their focus at. back in 2013 and 2014 the price would have seen a huge green candle at the moment the news hits the internet of steam accepting bitcoin. it doesn't work like that anymore. bad news that ends up being no bad news at all, no matter how minor, still impacts the price. that's the weird thing.
1143  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: May 21, 2016, 12:13:00 PM
The price of Bitcoin matter without any doubt, not only for the traders online that concern about the price every day usually, but also for the Bitcoin's holders and the users generally.

The more the price, the better it is for the people . It also helps the investors to gain a lot of profit and use this as a major currency.
The current price of bitcoin is just too great for investors.

the price of bitcoin doesn't really matter when it comes to using bitcoin as currency. no matter how low or high the price is, people will always be using bitcoin as currency. the price can't and will never change that. the volatile nature of bitcoin attracts traders and thus fresh money. that's an important reason of why the price does matter in that aspect. different aspects with each a different reason of why the price does or does not matter.
1144  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: May 21, 2016, 12:05:57 PM
For speculation? To buy on the dark web? To buy online on sites like purse.io? To send money? To do business? To have your money under your control?
What is/are your purposes when yu buy bitcoin?

My purpose buy bitcoin is hoping the price will rise in the future, and proved bitcoin prices always go up.
And other things why I buy bitcoin is to purchase items online, and fast, accurate, inexpensive, and certainly anonymous.
that's all, thanks for let me share my experiences Smiley

what proof have you got to know that the price is always going up? because it's not. if you look back at the price levels we have been sitting at, then you'll see that todays prices are nothing more than a joke. yes, maybe at some point in the future the price will go up higher than $1200 again, but it will take years before we touch the $1000 price level again. there are no guarantees.
1145  Economy / Speculation / Re: 460 before 12/4 ? on: May 21, 2016, 11:37:16 AM
Today's bitcoin price is 460 dollars again. It seems the price has not gone any where. It is very stable at the moment.

The price is actually going up. Its average price is higher than 5 moths ago. So it is very encouraging.

But the price did not increase over 2 months ago. It is still lower than $440. I thought it should be over $500 now.

It has been a long time since Bitcoin's price increased month on month.
Now everybody is talking only about the long term potential of Bitcoin.

if you want to look at things very precisely, then the price isn't increasing at all after reaching the high of $500 in november last year. beside that, what i nowadays read on this forum is "it's good to hold because of the block halving" "block halving will make the price go $800" bla bla bla. it's only block halving this, and block halving that. there is more than only the block halving. people only don't seem to realize it.
1146  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10k???? on: May 21, 2016, 11:31:47 AM
This would be great but in reality this is impossible as of the moment. Im okay seeing the price stable in $1k-$2k range. If that prediction happen, for sure it would be really hard to earn btc by that time.

Yeah and I also think if price goes that higher then we won't have an opportunity to earn from signature campaign, as they might shut down their campaign.

signature campaigns are an interesting form of advertising for services and companies. they will continue to exist as long as the forum rules allow it. higher price of bitcoin will only result in lower signature campaign earnings, that's it.

Why bot does not counts posts?

It's because it's less than 75 characters that's why bot will not count them. Try reading the rules in page 1 and educate your self of the do's and dont's of this campaign. Posting pic's and a few word's will not be counted by the bot. The quoted post is not included as your post.

the bot counts every post. even posts with less than 75 characters. by the time it's payment time the bot will only pay for posts made in the right section and with more than 75 characters.

I experienced the same thing as him. first, I lost my post and when I made a post again, it is not counted in the bot. why Huh

that's very weird. i just looked up your uid in the bitmixer bot and it indeed doesn't count any posts, while you're active and signature is being shown as found. only bitmixer knows what is wrong. contact him if you haven't already.
1148  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: May 20, 2016, 03:37:44 PM
i mostly save it all up till it's a decent amount and then i move it to my cold wallet. some times i cash out some of my coins to have a beer or something to eat in the city.
1149  Economy / Speculation / Re: 420 on: May 20, 2016, 03:30:03 PM
It is not a drop of price. It is normal fluctuation of currency. And with volatility of bitcoin movement of +-$10 are considered total stability.
I wooed rather advise you to buy some BTC before we still can - halving is getting closer and closer.

2-5% price fluctuation for the bitcoin is very normal. The volatility in the past is much larger than that.

The low volatility will help the adoption of the bitcoin. So it will help the bitcoin price to go even higher.

When the volatility is high, the merchants will not hold the bitcoin for some time, they will sell it as soon as they receive it.

this is true evne when the price is stable, they always sell immediately after getting the coin, unless you have proof that merchants are holding right now, seeing how the market is very stable altely...

In a few years, when the bitcon is more valuable and more stable, and it is tested to be a proper currency, things will be different.
I think the price will never be stable bitcoin future although many countries will begin to adopt bitcoin as alternative currency other than the currency of their country.

Stability just means the bitcoin price volatility is similar to other major currency such as Dollar or Chinese Yuan.

keeping some sort of volatility in any kind of currency or market is the most important aspect as it will attract investors. if there was total stability where the price for example alway sits at $500 then which investor will jump into bitcoin? none.
1150  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC at $435. Is it sustainable? on: May 20, 2016, 02:09:22 PM
Seems it is not. But m-Eth pump may also be affecting btc prices at the moment. To me, 450$+ is a bubble right now. After the halving we will see bigger drops in price i believe. May even see 390-400$'s.

there is too much hype around the block halving which will only result in disappointment. once the block halving is done, the price will indeed start tanking. partly due to the disappointment people have, and the other part will be the vanishing hype and speculation in the price.
1151  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: May 20, 2016, 01:49:37 PM
The chance is really low that it can reach that high value and as you can see now you see also that there are now more people that is holding it and that is nice because some people are now trading because they cant earn profit with selling.
And it will for sure reach the $500 in the end of the year and hopefully it will be more worth in the next year.

Yeah we will be seeing much better price in next year, halving might show us higher price, but my expectation are higher from next year.

there are no interesting happenings in 2017 that might indicate market action. this year so far has been quite a stable time for bitcoin as the price kept holding strong between $420-$450. next year will most likely be the same as far as stability goes.
1152  Economy / Speculation / Re: DONT PANIC!!! EVERYONE STOP SELLING!!! on: May 20, 2016, 11:28:32 AM
i am not in panic. i like these fluctuations as it allows me to make some profit. it's maybe not much what i made today, but at least it's profit. if you're a holder, then these fluctuations are not of importance to you. it's healthy market action. nothing to worry about.

1154  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: May 20, 2016, 09:58:20 AM
If Fiat was worthless, then $10,000 in bitcoin would also be worthless, too. You've gotta think in bitcoin terms. If bitcoin's market cap became the market cap of gold, fiat will still have some worth. Some countries will refuse to accept an international currency.

well said. it will never happen of course, but i think by the time fiat becomes worthless that bitcoin has to be tied with something as gold. gold is the first thing people will use when fiat becomes worthless. it will be the main currency by that time.
1155  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: May 20, 2016, 09:53:49 AM
You have a good point. The long term investors need to have multiple investment vectors and the short term investors are constantly undermining the market.
Long term investors are those investors with enough amount to invest because they can wait for a longer period of time to profit, while we who only have a little amount of money and we want to increase it, we can do short term investment, doing day trade is a good idea for me.

the amount that you have doesn't really matter when it comes to long or short term investments. i don't have a lot money for investment purposes compared to others, but i still prefer long term investments. i have the patience and dedication for it. and that's important. also, make sure you use money that you will most likely not need in the coming years. that makes it even easier.
1156  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 19, 2016, 05:47:03 PM
Its good to invest in the bitcoin these days because the price is gonna increase this year with the halving.
Another nice fact is that the price will also grow because of the growing part of users.

the block halving only happens once every four years. as soon as the block halving is over in juli this year, then people will not have much left to talk about. it's only block halving this or block halving that right now....
1157  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: May 19, 2016, 05:45:01 PM
everything is working fine here.
1158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc Up at 475 on: May 19, 2016, 04:54:38 PM
Bitcoin jumped to a surprising 475 late this month, wonder what caused the serge. Hope the price can stay high for awhile.

well price fell down now to 450$ but this is still good price for bitcoins, and i hope that this price will stay or rise more because of halving, as price then will rise even more

and i think that halving caused this huge price rise as people wants to get a lot of easy profit so they buy as much as they can bitcoins and they will keep them for price rise to sell them

at least the good news is that the $450 seems to be the bottom and it is not going to go much lower than this.

anyways the price looks to be stable and at a fixed level. so i would expect another rise to $500 to be the next step which may happen next month.

$450 has never been a bottom, so i'm not sure how you come up with that. the price is already lower than $450 and it has been there several times before.
1159  Economy / Speculation / Re: How will halving affect the value? on: May 19, 2016, 03:23:50 PM
The halving can effect then the value of the Bitcoin, I think that if the havling comes that the price is going to be lower. This is a good thing for people who do not have much to invest, this way they can also buy some coins.

the price will go lower after the block halving as people will dump the coins that they bought at current prices. i just hope the price will stabilize above the current price level.
1160  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: May 19, 2016, 02:30:04 PM
Yes Bitcoin is like a long term investment and have proven to give very very good returns in long term and more profitable than gold.
In 2009 you could buy lots of Bitcoin for $1 and in 2013 price was above 1000$ for one Bitcoin only.
It is not like Bitcoin is a long term investment, people only see it that way. It is not garunteed that in the future the price is going to what most people are expecting it to be. I am just going to wait and see what will happen.

Don't wait too long as you never know what will happen in future, if you see higher price then you should sell some of them and make profits and buy again when price falls.

some people tend to wait too long before securing profits, that's their problem. easy solution to that is using stop loss orders. that way you will never miss out on your aimed profits. that's how i do it and it works perfectly fine for me.
