How do we tell OCminer when other coins in the pool go down.  The EAC pool seems down.   Is there a general thread?  PM without needing a response?   Smiley

you can just message me too if you like Smiley

https://eac.suprnova.cc ?

what problem have you got, it seems to be okay for me

Not getting accepteds.....no earnings seem to be passing into confirmed
after a long time but blocks are being found.  Cgminer hangs on Network diff set.....

Note:

Working now.

I just pointed some hash there.. just seems that most miners are elsewhere atm

I've noticed an attack vector in the stratum which made me have to restart it one time - it's stable again now, someone was (trying to) ddos it.
I see, glad you got that under control. I have a question about vardiff/static diff. Is there any advantage in running static over vardiff? My hashrate tops out around 4500 but it has dropped as low as 3200. What would you recommend for my hashrate?
It depends...

So if the pools sets you a diff of 650 for example, use d=650 as password the next time you connect.

You want to have 6 shares per Minute, every 10 seconds a share for optimum results

Dashboard etc. should all be good now
Am I required to change the pw for the worker on the website to the same d=xxx as well?

No, the 'real' password doesn't matter at all

If you use Claymore, since it disconnects for fee mining, it might really be better if you set a static diff so that your client sends a share every 10 seconds.. Best is probably just to mine for 10 minutes, check what diff you got from the pool then and set that diff the next time you connect using the password field. So if the pools sets you a diff of 650 for example, use d=650 as password the next time you connect.

Anonymous mining enabled:

./nheqminer -l zcl.suprnova.cc:4042 -u t1gmg4yJuwDvErGbzVERx69zt9qsa4ZpMYG -p x

You can mine directly to your/exchanges wallet address.

Currently tested but in Beta.
When mining anonymously with no supernova account, what is the payout set to? Will it come every few hours or once a day? Just curious since I don't see a way to set your own limit for payout.

Hi,

Autopayout will be triggered as soon as your balance hits 0.01 coins
Why do the charts only display data a few minutes out of every hour? 99% of the time the charts and pool data is blank/empty...

Hmm, wasn't aware of a problem there, you mean the live data on the dashboard ?

I'll check it
Yes, the dashboard is buggy when it comes to showing data. Also, I edited my past post with more concerns. Thanks for the fast response.

I've updated the dashboard, it should be fine now.

Concerning the rewards, since the coin was added to 'trex diff ramped up pretty nice, as you can see in the stats we're pretty much dead on with luck at 100% - so you should be earning exactly what the pool calculates.
I will stay on longer and see what happens. Are the delays in confirming balances due to the ZCL Network lagging or is it on your side?

Maybe you point one rig to another pool and leave one rig on suprnova so you can compare 1:1 - it should be the same if fees are identical.

I'm not delaying confirmations at all, they get confirmed after 100 blocks, but currently I'm doing a small cleanup in the backend as someone added 25000 workers - for whatever reason - but only uses 10 of them..
Thanks for all the info. Hope you can get the dashboard to update correctly it still shows no data except "My Balance".

Yes, i'm on it ! thank you too

How about those registred miner? Min payout is 0.1 or 0.01? I saw in the Edit account stated below:
Automatic Payout Threshold
0.1 - 8000 ZCL. Set to '0' for no auto payout. A 0.00000000 ZCL TX fee will apply

It's 0.1 since the rewards here are much higher than with normal zcash and 0.1 is usually hit pretty fast

suprnova gets free 5.56 ZEC with "orphan" block 11130 because pool script has error  Roll Eyes
https://explorer.zcha.in/blocks/00000000cfdc2d358c369249dfd967bdf6b5d7f156082cdde5b9b025eaa9da73

That "script" is the wallet :-)

I've corrected that, it's now credited

EDIT: And the wallet is still reporting it as orphaned.. I'll probably have to rescan the wallet later when I switch to the secondary wallet. I'm crediting the block anyway to the miners now and set it to confirmed.

Something is not working... My unconfirmed balance is going up, but the reported hashhrate remains zero:

https://zcl.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=anondashboard&user=t1UTkgbSMqA57RCMvZKqknFM4V1NfmbpHwS

I have a small bug currently that worker names are needed. Try to use   .rig1 or something similar behind the address and it should work

ZecMiner64.exe -zpool zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -zwal t1gmg4yJuwDvErGbzVERx69zt9qsa4ZpMYG.YourWorker -zpsw anything

Down again, same time in the night as the last time it blocked.

Now the pool is finding blocks again, but I have old unconfirmed balance.

Some orphans again..

It's unbelievable how time consuming this half dead coins is.. It's a pool ops nightmare

Hehe I see by solo mining what you mean.
Btw, how's the bits json field of getwork a float? Is it the difficulty instead?

Yes,thats the diff

As some folks where asking for static diff ports again, they're not needed, you can set your worker diff yourself with the password field:

d=256 gives you a static diff of 256

d=512 gives you a static diff of 512 etc

Claymore:

ZecMiner64.exe -zpool  zcl.suprnova.cc:4042 -zwal YourUsername.YourWorker -zpsw d=512

or if you prefer mining anonymously:

ZecMiner64.exe -zpool  zcl.suprnova.cc:4042 -zwal t1gmg4yJuwDvErGbzVERx69zt9qsa4ZpMYG.YourWorker -zpsw d=512
