The same risk that ICO investors face is the same the bounty hunter face the only difference is that in bounty time and energy are wasted while when invest in scam ico, money, time and energy are all wasted. you need to do your own research well before joining ICO. there are no guarranty that any ICO is save. infact there are some bounty campaign that are not scam but they amount to nothing after token are distributed because the token you will earn will not be able to pay for gas price and transaction fee because the percentage allocated to bounty is too small.

there are still other cryptocurrency apart from bitcoin. they are called altcoin. since you said you are new to cryptocurrency. I will advise you to go online and read more about them generally. trading other cryptocurrency is as risky as trading bitcoin too so you need to understand the risk involve too. ETH seems to be the strongest among altcoin so if you wanna buy but note that its also above $700 now. if you want to invest in other altcoin apart from ETH i will advise to do your research well before investing on them. any coin you see on this board is altcoin.

This a good and bold step toward the right direction funding research and development into blockchain technology by the government shows that there are still some country who really still look about the advantages the blockchain technology can offer over the cons. however australia seems to have seen some benefit the blockchain technology might offer in term of development but I hope to see some other great country like United state and UK doing the same thing instead of trying to regulate it.

If this is good then it is good news but I still think anything they make use of blockchain technology will still be centralized however it might open more opportunity for cryptocurrency because facebook is a big company in which some other social network look up to so Facebook tapping into blockchain technology will certainly make some other company to do the same which means blockchain technology is gradually been adopted by more big and popular company. selling cheap due to sudden dump in coin is not good at all most importantly when you realize later that the price has risen again. you feel like killing yourself. this happened to me couple of time when i start trading on binance. coin i bought will end up rising after i have traded them. recently I place a sell limit with 20% profit on OPC coin in cryptopia and weny to sleep last night but when I checked back the following morning the OPC coin has gone 100% of the initial price I bought it. I feel like who told me to place sell order at 20% profit  |

facebook is a private social media. many facebooks does not know the crypto. bitcoin. so d bitcoin can be public on facebook.
any social media platform is public but the privacy setting on the media allow users to make their account private. I am sure what you mean by private social media is that users have control over their privacy which includes who can follow them, what to share and deleting what they have shared. etc. cryptocurrency and other advertisement are allowed to run on Facebook and that is the reason while you always see some advertisement on the right corner of your facebook page. if they are banning crypto related ads that means those ads will not be displayed again and publisher will look elsewhere to get traffic |

do not expect the government to support any thing that doesnt benefit them. the major reason why government will not support bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is that they can not control it. which means they will not be able to tax users. secondly anonymous activities through which bitcoin can be used for are consider to be dangerous because they believe if its not monitored. crypto can be used for money laundering an other criminal activities. the most painful part of it is that the government is capitalizing on the cons without wanting to hear about the pros of bitcoin.

In my perspective, It is not too late to invest in Bitcoin. A very low percentage of people own Bitcoin. Take a look around you. How many people actually have Bitcoin? It’s a low percentage, perhaps around 4%. Bitcoin is only owned by less than 5 million people worldwide and still has tremendous growth potential. Everybody thought they were too late at $100, $500, $1000, $5000, and now almost $10,000. Nobody knows the answer for sure but it’s worth researching and getting into with a small amount of money that you can afford to lose. There's a saying in Crypto world. Keep calm and buy bitcoin  It's not too late, because we're still at the very early stage of bitcoin and blockchain. I am sorry for your lost. I too participated in swissborg token sales but i traded my coin when I discover I am at 50% profit. just like I use to tell some of my friends on telegram, you will only know the true character of any project startup after the crowdsales and for me when I discover that team members are not forthcoming in answering question and giving update I will be triggered to dump the token. GENE token seems to be doing the same now after we investors discover that someone from the team solved huge amount of token causing massive fall in the price of the token.

cryptocurrency trading are not for someone who can not take risk. the price of crypto is very volatile and price movement can be very fast sometime compare to the traditional stock exchange where stock price movement is slow. if you want to trade you need to make up your mind and forget about thinking of losing. I have made similar mistakes a couple of time when I first start to trade. I can remember the day I place a sell order with interest of about 20% but when I wake up the following day. the coin has gone 150% of the price I bought. I feel like killing myself.

it is very difficult to know because some ICO really has good plan but after crowdsales, they discover they can not continue with the project and at the same time don't want to lose the money they have invested then they end-up running away with investors money. however there are few ways you can know scam ICO. from experience most scam ICO do not have real whitepaper. most of them use to plagiarise other ICO whitepaper so you may know a scam ICO by using plagiarism software to check whether the whitepaper is plagiarised.

next month Google will finally remove support for cryptocurrency related affiliated activities and I believe it will affect the price of cryptocurrencies. however, ETH seems to be doing well for now. It has broken the 800 and the next target will be hundred. If everything goes on fine ETh might hit 900 in couples of days. if ETH hit 15k I am imagining what will be the price of Bitcoin because being the most traded coin, all altcoin price relatively depend on the price of Bitcoin. if ETH hit 15k then bitcoin will probably have reached 50-80k which I don't think it is holistic.

I agree with some of your point and truely the number of bounty participants are increasing. however, there are still some bounty manager that limit the number of participants such as yahoo2778 and sylon. however you can see now that apart of limiting number of participants bounty campaign now are implementing strict rules in some campaign such as media and content creation and also increasing the number of minimum follower for media campaign. future campaign will come will more strict rule to scale down number of participans.

I do not think you can use that directly to evaluate the success of any ICO because when you look closely you will understand the reason why many ICO have a high member on telegram group, is because of two things. firstly, maybe the ico has bounty which makes it compulsory for participants to join their telegram page of the ICO. secondly, maybe a certain percentage of the bounty is allocated to telegram page so many of the bounty participant will like to participate by joining the telegram page of the ICO

let us keep our finger cross and hope it will break the 10k support. if it does then we may be witnessing a huge pump up to 15k in few days. I hope this happens . however if it cant break the 10k support we may see a periodic dump to 8k provided it sees the 8k support all else we are going back to 7k. coming back to your question. the price of bitcoin is very volatile and it depend on so many factors such as media attentions (both bad and good). other factors such as whale entrying or leaving the market and other factors |

the first challenge facing bitcoin user is acceptability. bitcoin is not generally accepted as a medium of payment just like fiat currency and the acceptability also depend on the country. every user want a means through which they can buy anything they desire with bitcoin without hassle but such is not the case as many ecommerce and merchant do still think bitcoin still lack the features which make it to be used as legal tender. second challenge is issue of security and hacker. few month ago we all witness how some users lost huge amount of NEM in one Asia country due to cyber attack.
