2081  Economy / Speculation / Re: 400 will not hold on: January 15, 2016, 01:33:12 PM
so what if $400 doesn't hold. i have fiat ready in my exchange account to buy some coins with as soon as the price goes under $400.

the bitcoin price broke under 400 now in all exchanges
you can buy whatever you want now as a lot of selling supplies are in the market

yes i have noticed that. i managed to grab myself just over 2 bitcoins at $393. i am watching the price now and might buy myself another 1 bitcoin if the price goes down further.
2082  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price after Cryptsy event on: January 15, 2016, 01:26:29 PM
i am not surprised at all about cryptsy. it's just another altcoin exchange that goes up in dust. not the first altcoin exchange, and definitely not the last. if you asked me yesterday if i thought the price would go sub $400 today, then i would have said no. at this point there is too much panic to make a guess on how deep the price will fall now.
2083  Economy / Speculation / Re: Last chance to buy expensive on: January 15, 2016, 01:01:55 PM
Last chance to buy expensive BTC. We going back to 200
200 seems to be too low to predict, it was quite a large dump going on right now but to go 200 it will take some tremendous amount of coin on sell order. Which i think will not happen, as most of the recent traders have bought it above 300.

op is trolling. if the price goes below $400, then it will recover very quickly to a price over $400 again. it could be that most of us won't even notice that the price went slightly below $400 as the recovery to over $400 will just take a few seconds.
2084  Economy / Speculation / Re: 400 will not hold on: January 15, 2016, 12:54:17 PM

2085  Economy / Speculation / Re: drop it like it's hot. on: January 15, 2016, 12:50:55 PM
Is not really a bad sign for me.
Now I can buy more bitcoins with it so nice to have a low price.

i like this mentality. a lot people that see the bitcoin price fall down see it as something bad. i see chances here. it allows us to step in or buy more bitcoins at lower price levels. i will start buying as soon as it goes below $400. as long as it stays above $400 then i won't do anything.
2086  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we break the 400$ ? on: January 15, 2016, 12:40:12 PM
as you can see on all exchanges that the price didn't dive under $400 so far. that's a good thing. i only find the support at $400 to be very weak right now. it was looking strong not long ago. if it happens to go sub $400 then i might actually buy myself 1 or 2 bitcoins. for now i'll keep watching the price closely.
2087  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here we go sub 400! on: January 15, 2016, 12:36:40 PM
Price is $401.29 get ready to jump from the nearest tall building guys we are going sub $400/sarcasm

Bitcoin is not for the weak handed!

i just woke up and see that the bitcoin price touched $400.49 just now. i really hope we can hold the $400 price level. the comming hours will be interesting.
2088  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 Bitcoin Predictions on: January 14, 2016, 09:45:59 PM
i think around the halving this year we will see probably the highest ever trading volume in the history of bitcoin. we may even see $50-$100 price swings each day nearly at the halving. great opportunity for day traders. if i see bitcoin stable above $700 then i am a more than happy person. i think the final peak this year may even give us a new ath.
2089  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-01-14] Netflix Opens To Bitcoin on: January 14, 2016, 09:40:39 PM
it's definitely a good thing that netflix is considering to add bitcoin as payment option. i only think it might take at least a year before they will set the first step to activate bitcoin payments on their service. it once again shows that bitcoin can potentially be accepted everywhere in the world. the nice thing from bitcoin is that it isn't tied to a certain industry. it can serve all industries.
2090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet buying bitcoin? on: January 14, 2016, 09:36:30 PM
He's old-school. He said multiple times that Bitcoin is bullshit. I think that his word as more value than all the bitcoins on Earth for him. I won't take the risk to be looked as a clown to make what's pocket money for him Wink !

he doesn't know any better. these kind of investors will never invest in bitcoin as they love their fiat economy way too much. their wealth is build 100% in fiat. they won't give that up.
2091  Economy / Economics / Re: Trade house for 1 bitcoin on: January 14, 2016, 06:35:20 PM
everything is possible, we just need bitcoin to succeed to see 1 bitcoin get a value of at least $100k. it might take 30 more years, if not longer. house prices vary, some houses cost around $50k and others $200k. the cheaper the house is, the sooner you can buy a house with just 1 bitcoin.
2092  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Synchorniseren lukt niet.. on: January 14, 2016, 06:05:31 PM

2093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: January 13, 2016, 05:14:18 PM
$1000 might not happen sooner though. I can see the charts aren't moving well.  I need more cash this time and since I almost can't wait for the price to go up and so I'm betting on some gambling sites.   Grin hope to win more.

the longer it takes for the price to reach $1000 again, the more time you have to accumulate more and more coins. i don't mind if we stay even below $500 for another month. it allows me to keep buying at sub $500 prices. i want to make sure i have enough coins to benefit to the max once the block halving pump gets initiated.
2094  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: January 13, 2016, 05:04:45 PM
just now i have bought myself just over 0.3 btc extra to keep it in my cold wallet. i usually buy around $100 worth of bitcoins each month, but this time i have bought a bit extra. i want to reach 10 btc before the block halving.
2095  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 crash has begun! on: January 13, 2016, 03:38:55 PM
The price went down a few bucks and you start yelling that the crash will begin. Why don't you say such a thing when the price isn't going down?
Don't get panic the fall has been observed over the world market. This occurs during the start of every year and gradually the market will be stable. This time it has effect over bitcoin because china has been affected much when compared with other countries.

these kind of dumps are normal happenings nowadays. no need to worry. large players are trying to get some action back into the markets with these dumps. use these dumps in your advantage to buy yourself some coins if you were waiting for the price go come down. here is your drop. start buying guys.
2096  Economy / Speculation / Re: What moves bitcoin price? on: January 13, 2016, 03:24:58 PM
Normally it would be news, but these days some new actors are active on this market.
I still think/hope some positive has some influence, since it would be crazy if we should depend on whales to move the price.

news has barely any impact anymore on the price. only very bad news can impact the price in a bad way. hacked exchanges, governments seizing/freezing all funds of the exchanges and such. at this point the only news that can affect the bitcoin price in a good way is when we find a solution for the block size. then you'll see a pump happen.
2097  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here we go sub 400! on: January 13, 2016, 03:21:30 PM
the price didn't even come close to sub $400 it's time for you and your super team to retire from everything bitcoin related.
2098  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: January 13, 2016, 01:02:39 PM
bitcoin is pure freedom. where in the world can you send millions worth of $$ for a fee as low as $0.05 ?? and all this happens instantly. no one can tell you how to spend your coins. no one can tell you that it isn't possible to be your own bank. we can store our wealth in bitcoin while we are 100% in control of everything. that's bitcoin. we are the boss over our own value.
2099  Economy / Speculation / Re: What month of 2016 will btc reach new ATH? on: January 12, 2016, 07:11:06 PM
I am not sure if it will happen, but if it will happen, it must be around july/august.

The impact of the halving could result in a mega boost or nothing at all will happen, like the prevous halving.

with the current halving there is much more money involved. wealthy investors have found their way to bitcoin as well. all this will result in the best block halving so far. just the speculation is already enough to get people active and make them panic buy when the bull run is starting. expectations of bitcoin probably have never been so high as now.
2100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe are these "so called" Bitcoin Banks? on: January 12, 2016, 07:03:17 PM
the intentions of these bitcoin banks might be good, but i don't want my coins to be held by a third party. my bitcoin core client is my bitcoin bank. i don't need anything else. i can take care of my own coins. and no, i am not willing to store my coins elsewhere for an interest rate. not worth it.
