No; 'add' should add them permanently to your list of peers; 'onetry' just attempts the connection right away. - When the release of 1.3.0. version? i didn't find it in GitHub releases page.
As soon as new seed nodes are deployed in another two countries I should start building; hopefully within a few days at most. It is unfortunate that in the current version of the wallet there is no function to do this with one click, as in many other coins with MNs. It would be great if the developers implemented such a function in the new wallet version. Although you say that there is no need to ban the wrong masternodes, I believe that this is not the case. Incorrectly working MNs can lead us to the wrong chains under certain circumstances.
In this particular case, misbehaving nodes can't get you synced with the fork chain. If you use a new client and even if you are connectly to old misbehaving/old peers you will get stuck at block 2xxxxx something (I don't remember the exact number now). At that point you would be stuck forever (i.e. never synced up with the fork chain either) until you manually resolved it by fetching blocks that don't break consensus rules. Anyhow, 1.3.0 should block connections to pre 1.2.0 nodes. Be so kind as to give an example of a console command to ban one or another masternode.
setban 0.0.0.0 add 864000
This would ban the IP 0.0.0.0 for 864000 seconds. |

He will hand out as many ratings as he can without regard for their legitimacy, even going as far as handing out ratings for those who expose his criminal activity.

If there is widespread agreement then Lauda will be removed. Maybe he meant widespread agreement by scammers or trolls (such as the one he's quoting; or the ones that you've mentioned "cryptohunter, the buses-and-bicycles idiot"). |

I uninstall it again and reinstall it by changing the installation folder to another directory, everything went smooth and the wallet.dat file was succefully pasted in the new wallet folder, but the wallet can't synchronize with the network, it keeps showing that no connected pairs and no blocks for scan (wallet not connected).
Enter the following commands in order in the debug console: addnode 144.202.17.231 add
addnode 144.202.17.231 onetry
addnode 144.202.65.82 add
addnode 144.202.65.82 onetry
Make sure your wallet version is 1.2.1; the no-connection issue should be (hopefully) fixed in 1.3.0. |

It is BountyMiner. I doubt they are scamming us in anyway, we've paid a hefty amount for their service.

These are my received PMs from them (posted without asking obviously). I don't have my own outgoing PMs as I rarely save that (but they can post them if they want to; they don't contain any information). tl;dr: Asked them who manages the campaign as someone is guilty (either them, or the service or both of them) of bumping. I also told them to create a thread against them i.e. exposing their bumping stuff (which they rejected in their last PM).
It's time to start digging into this (likely-scam) service called "BountyMiner". I can barely find a single off-forum "bountyWhatever" platform that didn't turn out to be a shady fraud/scam in one way or another. |

I did wonder why he was complaining about that one specific non-DT red trust and not the 10 or so DT ones he has. Turns out that Timelord2067's is the only one Thule can see because he has Timelord2067 on his trust list, and it seems he doesn't even realise what that means.

No; given the pre- and post-context I don't need more for this case. If this only message is enough to tag accounts then Wipro could post similar announcements in the topics of managers he doesn't like and these members will be tagged also.
People who don't work with someone would prompty complain that this happened[1] and/or report it to moderators and would not get tagged. You're wasting your time defending fraudulent managers, which are one of the fundamental pieces supporting the problem that we have in the ecosystem.
[1] e.g. I would do all of the following as soon as I'd have seen it in my thread: Tag the user, report his post, make a thread about it. I'm sure that anyone reasonable would do the same as soon as they notice that they're being set up. |

I haven't read the whole thread past that post, but it does seem odd that Wipro would write that in your thread for no reason--and in the same oversized font, as well. Could it be that this was made by mistake? -snip- Yes, but you tell me what the odds are of a known scam manager posting on this "manager's" particular thread by mistake while his "mom was in a hospital"/"while he changed his computer historoy" or w/e. 1:1 Billion? Wipro has no current running stuff that would coincide with this "mistake"; the closest thing that comes to mind is this where he got fired due to his scam management. I looked through all his thread that I could find before I tagged this user. |

The only correct answer here is: "I admit that I worked with a known fraud/scammer.". When you are wrong you should admit fault as soon as possible otherwise you're just going to dig your own hole even deeper (if you are actually guilty), which is what I advised OP to do. |

Merit abuse is not something that theymos wants to be dealt with using the trust system, and so you will struggle to find any DT members who are going to be willing to tag these accounts: If a DT member tags you for something stupid involving merit (ie. probably anything less than selling merit), then they're not going to be a DT member for much longer. Your best bet is going to be reporting the accounts for breaking the rules - thread bumping, spamming, plagiarism, etc. If I remember correctly this comment was referring to the merit sources and if they get tagged by DTs for giving away merit, I not really sure that this applies to all the users. It does not apply to users in general, just sources. Otherwise he'd have to remove several DT1/2 members already (i.e. basically revert to the old centralized way of doing things for no valid reason). |

I can tell you one thing: I have not wanted to act on the thread but it is your (shady and violent) behavior that pushed me over the limit. You were wrong for doing what you did, you can admit it and apologize to the involved parties or you can just go away. Leaving all those fake retaliatory ratings as well as claiming everyone is an abuser/scammer who left you a negative rating is bound to land you... wait for it... even more negative ratings. Another trust abuse from Lauda which was expected Welcome to the team of scammers liars and abusers Lauda, you were always here but you left for a second. Don't worry, you won't be in DT soon same as most of the retards running around. Thanks for showing to people that for them its better to buy account and not waste time to run legal in this forum. Based on stuff like this I can publicly state that you've fooled me the last time and I was wrong to give a few users (which includes you) a second chance. Getting one of my ratings removed now will be even harder than before and existing ratings will be re-applied where users try to play games around them (e.g. do small deals to get positive from generous givers). I will also be tagging people that hire scammers/frauders/neg. rated members (excluding ratings that were thrown due to personal disputes) in any way or form. |
