This exchange operated since 2013, and i used it since 2015 and until now i never get any problem. In my opinion this is one of the good exchange with big volume and good customer support. Although this centralized exchange but at the moment never issue with hacking.
I also use this exchange in 2016 and actually this exchange has a lot of good features. This exchange is the choice for ICO projects as most small projects to large projects always choose HitBTC as the first choice. I think in the future HitBTC can compete with many big exchanges and will be the rival of Binance in the future Well it can be if they just remove the deposit fee and lessen the withdrawal fee like it's so absurd to think and they like some hold up group. I love hitbtc before but with this new scheme I just better try some major exchanges without annoying fees. Good for OP that at least he still can recover his eth even though it takes for months, better than this than nothing. More than that, their support really sucks. |

Every wallet can be hacked but mostly because the owner doesn't care about their wallet. They never fix their attitude about how to protect their wallet. Such as, they click link into MEW with out check the address correctly, use another device or network to open their wallet, last one is their data really stolen from their pc/ laptop. This is modern technology and everything could happen just do what is necessary to protect your wallet. Good luck with you. Because we're now in the era in everything is possible and hackers always think ahead of us. So the least we can do here is being cautious in everything we do and don't use private keys instead use metamask for logging in MEW. We're all responsible and be mindful in everything. |

Today i realised i am in huge huge trouble due to gambling...i just kept loosing amount in gambling quickly...decided many times to leave gambling but never happened....today i counted that i have lost almost 10 bitcoins in gambling in last 1-2 years and the amount i loose is going to keep on increasing... i just tried to do every thing but nothing is quiet working...what ever i earn i dont know what to do with them and in some time i loose them again... i am realising i am in big trouble,already in huge loss what to do...  It's not easy to leave gambling, just decide in your life to quit in gambling and not to go back anymore. Once you decide you can leave gambling. Make a way also for you to be busy in one thing in your life focus your self into it and you can go far from your vises. Especially gambling in your life if you're addicted in gambling its very difficult to quit on that thing. But if you succeed to quit on gambling. You can have a better life in the future. I don't believe that someone can't quit into something because if that someone really wanted a change then he can do that. It's just a matter of time and perseverance to do that. Honestly, a lot of things can help through this like diversifying our attention that will make us really busy, like hang out with friends and family and find a new hobby. I believe that it just take 21 days to make a habit. |

Buying from one exchanger and sell it to another exchanger is called arbitrage . It is profitable to those who have much capital because withdrawal fees are to high. I do it sometimes but not so often because some exchanger is closed to withdraw a certain altcoins.
And some exchanges have different price, some are much higher and some are lower so better to use different exchanges to have a decent profit. And of course not all exchanges cater all coins in the market so you'll find one that you can trade your desired coin. As recently a lot of different platforms are coming in the market and some are not even credible so better to know what exchanges to use but personally I suggest bittrex and binance. |

Oo meron pa ngang chance yan ang kailangan mo lang ay maghintay na tumaas ang price ni bitcoin pero predict ko dyan $40000 by the end of 2018 kaya hold mo lang at kikita karin dyan. Tama. Kapag nag hold ka lang later on you'll realize that holding is real! You'll appreciate it kapag tumaas ang bitcoin ng $30k, yung investment will double by just holding and what more kapag nag $60k? I read some technical analysis and they say that we might close the year with $60k so kapit ka lang kapatid. |

Binance has been going off and on for past 2-3 days. Kinda frightening, but I am sure they will handle it. The bigger an exchange gets, the bigger its problems. They said that they had a DDOS attack on their cloud service provider, that means people are targeting Binance and I hope they will up their security and back ups.
The fact that when the coin listed in binance expect that it will pump sooner so many tokens targeted to be listed. That recent news that binance gets hacked is just full trolls and fuds and just wanted the community to panic but they didn't succeed and it was a nice try tho. The system just get updated so there's nothing to worry about and if it's not necessary to store your coins there then please do so. |

I'm selling it so I can still make profits from it. It is still a good sell because it was 50% higher after I bought it so I'm just doing what I think is right base on the current situation.

I was buying in a "ladder" - 9300, 8200, 7200, 6300. Don't regret so far  However I noticed, that in different sources people "predict" huge drops by April. As huge as 1000. Nobody says why though. It lakes me wonder, what makes these people to believe this. Have you seen such "predictions" too? Maybe you didn't see its coming or didn't see the downtrend and I hope you just partially buy in those prices. And maybe you should be following some social media pages so you'll be updated where the prices going or is it the best time to sell nor buy. I also believe in speculations however I still filter what I believe because not everything is true. |

I think beginners have to start with bitcoin and some good altcoins. Since last one or two years so as you said for the beginners it is better to start from Bitcoin and slowly learn how market fluctuate every day. Because altcoin prices are not so stable and it can move up or down very fast and as a beginner.
it is too difficult if he starts with bitcoin because bitcoin is too volatile to him and he needs to learn more about bitcoin and I think he could start with altcoin, especially with the cheap price. maybe he can start with cheap price and with fast moving so he can start to make his own profit. there are many altcoins with cheap price and just make sure to buy at lower price and sell when the price increases later. How about if he just hold bitcoin like for short term trading? Personally, I would suggest bitcoin for beginners as we all know how it behaves in the market unlike altcoins that we're unsure its movement. When I win, of course I will feel happy and euphoric. When I lose, maybe a little bit down.
