Why are you selling your altcoins so soon?

I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it's way to early to be selling your altcoins. It's like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

Totally agree with you. We are just at the start of the crypto revolution.. things will be volatile and prices will be moving up and down. But if we can be patient and hold our altcoins for a year or two, we will all be richly rewarded.

total market cap is still way below 1 trillion USD... we have a long way to go. Hold all your altcoins and wait for the market to hit 5 trillion at least.

Caveat: shillcoins will go to the dumps when crypto market matures. So make sure you are holding quality coins

Slowly along with bitcoin most of the altcoins were recovering. While the price of bitcoin started declining more users switched to withstand the loss without having clear idea about the market. Later realized the entire altcoins market is depending on bitcoin. Now as the price of bitcoin started pumping forward once again users have started switching to bitcoin selling the altcoins in their portfolio.

The only time where i sell my altcoin so soon is when i need money urgent and have no money left. The other time is when the coin got delisted from bittrex so i have to sell it asap before i suffer more losses. Other than that i can't see another reason why i should sell my coin soon.

Same here, I only sell my altcoins or the only time I sold my altcoins was when I needed the money. So far I have no coins hodled that are delisted but I do have some coins which went down half of its value. I am mostly saving my altcoins and considered it as my savings.

In my own opinion, most of the people today are really scared about losing profit and we all know that the value of altcoins are very low so they tend to sell all their coins at the lowest price to earn back the money they invest and that's the time when they are all starting to lose their profit.

People just panic so quickly, alts are already beginning to rebound, these markets run in cycles and it is heavily emotion driven. You just have to have the discipline and understand that this market is not going away anytime soon.

for me as long as i'm having a profits when i'm selling , i probably will do that.
I was a daily trader(short term) so basically after selling some coins, i'll look to other coin and will decide if i'll buy or wait for another lower to get in.
But since the market situation right now forced me to become a HODLers , i'm waiting all my assets to get recover

some people make the slightest profit and then sell it immediately. i prefer to invest in medium term instead of this. you can have thousands of dollars to earn a few hundred dollars.
rushing and selling immediately makes you lose money.

because altcoin is very unstable and altcoin is only used to multiply the assets we have if too long keep altcoin will make us a loss because the price can drop drastically even delete list from the market.

There are many reasons why investors chose to sell their coins prematurely. Switching are often my reason why sometimes I chose to sell.

I will buy the particular coin that has more potential to invest in, however I still timing the market to atleast get my initial capital.

Currently the value of btc and alts are slowly recovering hence its a good sign to hodl and wait.

There are a lot of people today who are desperate of earning back the amount of capital they spend on investing because the market price's has drastically decrease this past few weeks and that is the reason why there are a lot of drama today in the market but still it will go back to normal after a few months.

Many people are in panic because the price of bitcoin and other altcoins drop a huge amount. They think that it will not recover anymore that is why they are selling their coins. But they didn't think that it is better to hodl than sell in panic especially if you have good coin. It will not make you rich now but it will make you rich later.

i sell my coin for emergency purposes only. everytime i hold my token in order for me to gain more profit.

There are many reasons for investors to sell their Altcoins. First is they think bitcoin is more valuable than any other Altcoins, so when they have the chance to buy bitcoin with cheap price they will sell all their Altcoins to invest in bitcoin because they think more profit will come in the future. Second, when they holding Altcoins too long without profit then they will sell their Altcoins to change into bitcoin.

Some people just take a profit and sell their altcoin, its easy just sell at ATH and buy at dip.
and not only for take profit some people sell their altcoin because scared with scam project.
