Some VIP members got the VIP badges without 50 BTC donation MagicalTux got "free" VIP status for hosting the forum for a long time, too. I think that him plus Hal are the only free donator statuses I gave out. You'd have to do something pretty extraordinary to convince me to give out another free one. I knew that Hal received the VIP status post mortem, this is also why I was wondering why he appears in xtraelv's list as 50 BTC Donator, while he hasn't donated that amount... But I thought it's possible that I don't know all the story and, maybe, he donated 50 BTC though. However, your post clears the question about Hal and MagicalTux. I believe that xtraelv should remove them from the 50 BTC Donators list.Now, the only remaining question is about Mt.Gox Support. Most likely, this user received the VIP status together with Karpeles (MagicalTux), for same reason stated by theymos above. In this case, this user should also be removed from xtraelv's list.
Excepting that, I just noticed that xtraelv's OP is empty and all the information appears in the second post of this thread... any idea why?  |

Salut IonCreanga si bine te-am regasit! Am reusit sa-mi cumpăr al 10-lea telefon pe anul asta. Sper sa fie cu noroc, restul s-au dus pe apa sîmbetei. Cred ca lipsesc doua, pentru a avea 12, cate luni are si anul... Am ajuns la concluzia că telefoanele au devenit consumabile. Sper sa ma țină ăsta până la anul. Ei, daca o sa ai grija de el, sunt sigur ca nu vei avea probleme cu el. (Cel putin nu in urmatoarele 21 de zile, cate mai sunt pana la sfarsitul anului.) Voi ce mai faceți? Una peste alta, bine  Ne bucuram ca a aparut un nou membru in sectiunea romaneasca, acesta fiind un mai vechi utilizatorul al forumului. I retake the test and only got 19, it seems I am a little bit rusty I'd say that 19/21 is a very good score. Also, make sure to post the score too there are some questions which the answer is not there but there is an answer which is close to the correct one. Deci practic eu doar am re-inventat roata. Și chiar dacă aș adăuga privnote în ecuație, aceasta nu se va schimba semnificativ. Iti inteleg punctul de vedere. Și ca să închei intr-o notă mai veselă, GazetaBitcoin a participat la discuția din topicul acelui concurs, poate că ar fi putut să își amintească și să-mi dea peste nas... doar că acel concurs a avut loc acum doi ani și jumătate.  Ca sa fie si mai amuzant, nu uita ca am si mentionat topicul-ul lui mocacinno intr-o postare anterioara: Mai mult, solutia chiar a fost incercata de mocacinno, aici. Dintr-un motiv sau altul nu a mai dus-o pana la capat insa... Insa nu mai tineam aminte absolut nimic din acel topic (chiar daca l-am mentionat aici), in afara faptului ca, pana la urma, demersul nu a mai fost dus pana la final, din motive nestiute de mine. Hey xtraelv, I have a question about the users which donated 50 BTC. I observed that on your list there are 41 users mentioned. However, when accessing this link - https://bitcointalk.org/donate.html - there are only 38. Do you have any idea why this discrepancy appeared? From what I see these users appear on your list, but not also on the website: Is it possible that they requested specifically to not be listed there? (In Hal's case this is hard to believe, as he passed away a long time ago.)
Excepting that, I thought that all users listed by you here were also supposed to have a VIP status. However, I found that two of them, which appear in the 50 BTC donators list, do not have the VIP status displayed at their profile -- any idea why? These are the two I'm talking about: |

Voi arunca un ochi si pe discutia de pana acum, dar nu promit ca azi. Pana atunci, ... au aparut doua concursuri noi - si nu azi... Fiuuu traiasca NEuroticFish! M-am inscris, dar nu am mai apucat sa raspund... Nu stiu cum e la voi, dar la mine timpul liber aproape ca nu mai exista zilele astea... Sper sa ma eliberez in curand.
Nu vreau să îţi fur ţie meritele, deci te rog pe tine să faci asta ca să le primeşti direct tu. Poţi să îi formulezi ideea ta lui theymos în discuţia despre sistemul propus sau prin mesaj privat? Ar fi o adiţie fantastică la sistemul propus. Bravo! în seara asta nu mă simt în stare să reiau raționamentul și să îl expun și în engleză, plus că mai bine mai las ideea "la copt", poate îi găsește cineva o fisură. Poate că mâine m-oi băga în seamă pe acolo, dacă nu o faceți voi până atunci. (am și o reținere în a redeschide o discuție după doi ani; sau să fie doar oboseala?) NeuroticFish, felicitari pentru ca ai reusit nu numai sa descalcesti sistemul ala foarte incalcit, ci si pentru ideile bune. Si eu te incurajez sa ii scrii lui theymos acolo, in acel topic vechi. Nu conteaza ca are peste doi ani... o informatie ultia este oricand binevenita. Dupa cum stii, si eu am reluat investigatia despre paraipan la ani de zile dupa ce multi altii incercasera sa afle ce s-a intamplat cu monedele pe care le avea in pastrare si -- iata -- am facut bine ca nu m-am lasat descurajat de faptul ca trecuse mult timp si toti isi luasera adio de la gandul ca vor afla ce s-a intamplat, de fapt, cu bietul om... Agitatia ta imi aminteste de faptul ca a mai fost cineva care avea un cui impotriva SegWit dar, macar, omul ala avea un punct de vedere valid, spre diferenta de tine, care faci doar FUD. E o chestiune de cand , nu DACA..... Cum justifici asta? O mare de sange se va revarsa peste cei care cred ca detin BTC in walleturi cu bc1 , sau 3 etc... Aoleu! Istoria se repeta .... Care istorie? Datorita modului in care au fost implementate aceste adrese si tipuri de tranzactii, nodurile care aplica doar aceste regulile de protocol lasa loc ca oricine poate cheltuii!!!! Nu inteleg... nu ar trebui sa putem cheltui BTC? Sau ce incerci sa spui aici? E o chestiune de timp pana cand minerii nu vor mai accepta tranzactii de la aceste tipuri de walleturi!
