I'm going to take inspiration from the rules of the pie contest This is a good decision, Becassine. As I already wrote back then, those rules were also successfully applied to BCA 2022 and they worked out just fine. and congratulations Gazeta! Thank you! Congratulations to you as well! I don't know how to list the participants and make a beautiful graphic like Halab our super modo of the French part does. If it helps, our dear 1miau created here some nice table layouts. Maybe one of them is useful for you? In one word, I will need help I guess to choose the winners (unless there are not many participants ) For choosing winners there are multiple ways. But each one depends on what kind of contest you intend to run (I need more details here). For example, if you want to run a contest where winners are picked simply by luck, you can use the suggestions made by NeuroticFish and examplens. That site is not necessary though, as you can pick winners by choosing a future Bitcoin block and determine the winner based on last two digits of the block (example: a user chooses number 02 as winner; if in the Bitcoin block chosen before last two numeric digits are "0" and "2" then the respective user won). The website created by bitmover can be used as well, for the same purpose. If you want to run a contest where winners are chosen by nominations, you have to specify nominating rules (as Rick did with the occasion of pie baking contest). This implies stating which members can make nominations (based on rank, activity etc.); how many nominations can be made by which user; if nominations can be edited; duration of voting etc. You have to think thoroughly about all these rules prior writing them inside the topic of your contest, as editing rules while the contest is running is totally not recommended. So, as you see, choosing winners is made based on the contest type you'll organize. If you need more help, let us know.

Thank you for this survey, 1miau! I believe you already know my votes 9 for Blockchair and keep the old table updated. (I hope we won't end up having another draw, lol.) Regarding your question from the other topic, We also need to specify how long our poll will be running. My favorite is 14 days, a good solution we applied already in our previous survey. I also believe that 14 days represent a relevant amount of time for keeping the poll running.

Though I have not sent him PM(I guess) yet I have faith on you and removed him from the list, thank you. Thank you as well for this update, shasan! I also noticed that there is no fee mentioned for Sebastian Ju and you wrote in OP "Need to ask". Would you like me to ask him? Or can you PM him for letting us know his fee as well? And I also noticed that there is one more user which needs to be removed: bittawm. I also contacted him in January and, as I said before, he never replied: [...] bittawm, Lutpin and realediston have not replied in almost a month I think it's safe to not have them listed We are already in April and he never replied to my PM. Besides, he was last active more than 4 months ago and he never updated his thread since May 2018.

Question remains, who is going to win it? From my perspective, companies which will manage their activity wisely have most chances to survive on the market. Meaning those which will not make useless and inefficient expenses and which will be also resilient. It would be nice to know who have how much btc in reserve. At least Foxpup can do a math if he wants his own mixer I have no idea why OP mentioned Foxpup here. Why would Foxpup need a mixer? Besides, that "he" is totally wrong. Recently she offered undeniable evidence for her gender, so where is that "he" coming from?

I want to share the idea of an avatar. This is the most cool avatar I ever encountered at a signature campaign! Bravo icopress! Some said it looks like Satoshi's statue, some said it looks like a hacker, some said it looks like an assassin from AC games. All comparisons are suitable Congrats for this amazing avatar!

Did I forget any important details? Nope, you summed-up well the questions! If not, I'll probably launch it on Caturday. Looking forward for that

I believe that @ChiBitCTy is referring to the Prypto scam[1][2] that took place around 2019 since it seems that he also was affected by it[3]. Just the idea of having to rely on a website to redeem the card makes me shiver but after reading that the card had an expiry date of 5 years[4] I was more in awe. How can an item that for sure would get the attention of collectible enthusiastic have such a low expiry date? Better yet, why in the world would it have an expiry date since the product itself (bitcoin) doesn't expire and no mention of the expire date in the card? Ohhh I see... Now, seeing your posts, I slightly remember the incident. Well in our case, this card is not loaded with anything. The scratch area has a code which can be used on BitcoinRomania's platform for redeeming 100 RON in your account. But, as I said in other previous posts, this implies creating an account there and that implies KYC -- and I don't recommend anybody to go through KYC. The card is very nice as it is and its value is certainly not the 100 RON (~20 EUR) code written on it. The value is given by the rarity of this card and by the fact that it's a nice collectible item Now I actually don't know until when this code can be used. I asked them last year about the code validity and they said it won't expire, although we were in 2022 and on the back of the card is written September 2021. Maybe at some point in time the code won't be usable anymore. But I can't say anything precisely on this matter, as I can not foresee the future

Two new translations have been added to OP: I also added these translations as footnotes inside the original threads. Thank you Asuspawer09 and Peanutswar! Looking forward for future collaborations
found a small typo here. the translation of Porfirii is spanish and not polish Thanks, I fixed that GazetaBitcoin was a bit too hasty in writing - no wonder if his threads now gain more popularity and are translated very often =))) This is true -- I always try to made the updates very fast after receiving the new translations, and this implies updating OP, updating the footnote from the original thread and also make a new post here, announcing which translations have been added. Due to all these (and, as we all know, working with BBCode is not a pleasure, lol), some typos may occur from time to time. Thank you for highlighting them to me
For most forum members, you are "Sir". Only very few people here on Bitcointalk can call you "bro" or "BAE". there is also a user who calls it something else - but Gazeta already knows about it🧛♂️ Looooooooooooool! (Not-so-subtle hint, in case others are wondering: 🧛♂️🧛♂️🧛♂️🧛♂️🧛♂️)

Great job again, my dear Peanutswar! This is Part I of my 4-topics sequel, which is fully translated by you In this topic and in the other 3 you will learn about the actions of governments against bitcoiners, why the state does not want a state-owned cryptocurrency, and how the elite try to keep information away from law-abiding citizens. I hope all of you will enjoy reading Smiley Peanutswar I want to thank you for all your efforts! (In case anybody wonders, I received Mr. Big's approval for posting in English inside Filipino board.)

Aaaand, the Ledger finally arrived! Thank you, Betnomi & icopress, for this beautiful prize!
Well done for going through the process of photographing the items and for providing information and review along the way so we can all have an understanding. It was a pleasure I hope icopress will be able to receive his items from you when it is possible. I hope that too and I will do all I can to ensure he will finally receive his gift as well! I take it the ledger was the item you were looking forward to receiving the most and as that has not arrived there is disappointment. As you tracked it to your country, hopefully it will be with you soon Yup, you are right But it was not a big disappointment, as I knew it was supposed to arrive in a few days and this happened meanwhile

I even looked through my old posts yet I did not find the raffle where I won it. In any case, I am 100% sure it was at a raffle organized by you Thank you krogoth for all these raffles! Now I am waiting to receive the car I won at 507th raffle and another coin, which I won at your 505th raffle! Of course, I will post also pics with these prizes once I'll receive them

Thank you Asuspawer09 for translating another topic of mine! I feel very honored and you have all my appreciation for your efforts! This topic is very special because it shows how Satoshi managed to change the old financial paradigm without involving any violence. I know some users protested that it wasn't a revolution or it wasn't the first bloodless revolution, but let's not debate the semantics here. Writers usually use metaphors or other figures of speech when writing. So take this article as philosophical writing if you want And this philosophical writing is a tribute to Satoshi and his work! (In case anybody wonders, I received Mr. Big's approval for posting in English inside Filipino board.)
