You should keep your balance low and refill it when needed. You had A LOT of satoshis in there...
It wasn't that much, it's quite possible that it was only enough for a day or two. It was aprox 77 euros, right? Think that's a lot to lose just like that.  |

I believe it was done through through database.
Where it was sent? Don't know. was it someone got into your faucet box account and withdraw the funds ? or someone hacked your site and steal the database for api key ? or was it a bot attack which drained your faucet by claims ? please provide information on it because it really had me worried because there is always some good amount in my account It was the second one hacked my site. is it not possible to show using xapo api because xapo api shows processing balance when some one claim using his btc address there should be some string to show the total amount shall be processed .

No truth is I have no coding knowledge but I can edit php codes and I understand some php codes . Recently I created block feature myself with lots of strugle of 2-3 days .If a codder would be doing that then it would take only a minute to make that feature .

I want to show pendding balance to those who used btc address on my faucet and waitting for their payments since xapo minimum payout is around 5500 sats so I want to show them the amount which is under process or pending . Do you use a free script? If so I could download it, look at the code and possible implent it. here is the link to download this free xapo faucet script . This way you can check how much satoshis a user has claimed. When the users has claimed 5500 you reset the balance to 0. Logging them also makes it possible to show when the last claim was made, how much the users has claimed in total, etc etc. The problem however is that you can't see now how much a user has claimed yet.. Or can you see that in your Xapo faucet? |

There's very little to show with a demo. If NH is down, the "error_log" in the root dir will be changed/updated. That's it. Making a demo for this is stupid. .and me use another ip check code to prevent ip or bot or proxy visit
I don't do mods on custom scripts. You need to contact the person who customized your script and ask him to check what happens if your ip check service fails. Sorry. |

Trying to find out how your faucet works in order to see if it is possible to show the balance. Is this normal?  Yeh that's normal some special characters do not look proper but still we can guess correct answer looking at other answer . The six is obvious.. The other 2 are just guesses. Did you do modifications to the original script? |

Thats really nice it means you have good understanding of PhP not a noob like me  I mean no disrespect, because we all had to learn at one point or another... But isn't the lack of understanding/knowledge the reason NOT to start a faucet? The standard FaucetinaBOX script is good but it misses A LOT of features; Logging claims and denied claims (with IPs etc), the option to use an extra IP checking service, IP throttle options, ... once you have these features installed the faucet will be as secure as it will ever be. And thus not safer/unsafer than a Xapo faucet. I spent over 100 hours customizing the FaucetinaBOX script.
