Sorry if this is dumb question but what exactly is your faucet? You mention that you are taking offers for the faucet if anyone wants to buy it... Well it is a bit hard to make any kind of offer when I have no idea which faucet you own. For example "freebitco.in" and "BeztBTC4Free4Realz.tk.co.uk" are probably in hugely different price categories.

PM sent.

Edited to add:
If anyone is interested in buying my faucet: Open for all offers.

show me your script you have a demo or url ?

I'll send some more info in a few hours.

Thank you all for the kind words.

It's getting problematic to block IPs. Scammers (and companies offering VPN/proxies) are investing in new IP addresses every day. Before those are detected it's already too late.

My faucet is doing pretty well against scammers. Again, I have some great security features. I just don't wanna fight anymore. It's over.

I might be offering (paid) services against scammers. I'm not sure yet.. Everybody wants everything for free nowadays. I must say I have considered cheating myself... but if I did that I probably couldn't live with myself.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm not a novice at this. This guy has so many IPs (thousands) that the .htaccess file will not work. It will become too big in size to work. One could use PHP...

The problem is that this guy has 1000s of IP addresses. There's no beginning, and even more, no end. People like this keep investing in more IPs..
2085  Economy / Micro Earnings / Another faucet dies. Does anyone care? on: March 10, 2016, 08:51:00 PM
I hesitated a while wether or not to post this message. Here it goes anyway.

I will soon be shutting down my faucet. I spent hundreds of hours coding it and I feel really depressed by the decision I had to made.
I enjoyed making making my site and -most of the time- enjoyed running and maintaining it.

Today I don't enjoy it anymore. I can't handle the bot attacks anymore. I got another bot attack today. I have some serious anti-bot measurements so luckily I didn't lose a lot of money.

The IP addresses used in the attack were all owned by "Trusov Ilya Igorevych".
More info about this company/man can be found here: http://www.port43whois.com/?query=5.189.204.12

This person/company has hundreds, perhaps even thousands of IP addresses, all over the world. A lot of them are NOT marked as vpn/proxy traffic by NastyHosts.
Some of you might know that NastyHosts is the standard security IP checker in the FaucetinaBOX script. It goes without saying that A LOT of faucets are currently being attacked and are losing money.

It hurts me to see that people here on this forum are offering/joining CAPTCHA services. Those who join probably don't understand that these services are used to bypass the faucets security measurements. Faucets will put up anti-bot links, additional captchas, ... but it has no use; The scammers will eventually win.

I always keep wondering: How many of the people that claim at my faucet joined these CAPTCHA services to earn something extra? All this just to make a few lousy dollars. It is stealing. Nothing more, nothing less. I start to believe that people who are interested in BTC will sell out for just a few lousy dollars. There are no more moral values in the BTC world. It makes me sick. I always believed in the kindness and honesty of others.

So, soon another faucet will dissappear. Does anyone care?
I already know the answer.

Edited to add:
If anyone is interested in buying my faucet: Open for all offers.
2086  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HashOcean.com - Cloud Mining Service on: March 10, 2016, 07:57:28 AM
Let us be clear. Have you ever had any doubt about what they would reply? If the answer is yes, you re a TOTAL MORON. But I do not think you are so no surprise there.

Well actually, yes. And if for that reason you feel the need to call me a moron, go ahead. Calling me a moron says more about you then about me. I keep my cool and try not to offend people.

Some *legit* companies offer company tours. And, I wanted to see how they would react. That's all. And if their answer was yes, I would have visited their datacenter for sure.

I've been in this "BTC world" for a few months now and I must say I'm dissappointed. There's little to earn without investing, people want everything for free or for cheap, ... There's no way to earn something decent. People spent hours each day to claim like 0.5 - 1 USD. Not worth it.

My goal was to own/earn 1 BTC in 2016 and I'm pretty sure I'm not getting there by claiming, clicking, joining, selling, ...  I wanted to sell my faucet but no one was offering a decent price.

That being said: I invested some money in HashOcean. If it turns out to be a scam, so be it. In real life people get scammed every day. Investing in real life is also never without risk.

Since I joined HO I got paid twice. I'll post my findings later on.
2087  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HashOcean.com - Cloud Mining Service on: March 07, 2016, 06:25:14 AM
I contacted them yesterday and offered to visit their Nurnberg datacenter(s). It's about 560 km from my home to Nurnberg.

I had several reasons:
- I'm looking for a place to invest (more) money
- I always wanted to see a datacenter
- I could vouch for their service here on the forum

Guess what they replied.  Roll Eyes

2091  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: February 26, 2016, 05:33:56 PM
If you have your own domain you could create catch-all email addresses on the fly.

bit@mydomain.com
bustah@mydomain.com
...@mydomain.com

etc etc
2092  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: XBTFreelancer - Get a 35% LIFETIME revenue share on your referrals on: February 25, 2016, 03:42:56 PM
It's very rare to be hired in this site though.. I've been in the site for sooo long and all the people who
make jobs never reply.

Same here. A simple PMB (private message board) to discuss the job details before the job was closed would be great.
2093  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: My Faucet!!! 800 satoshis on: February 25, 2016, 11:18:54 AM

2094  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: new faucet on: February 25, 2016, 11:12:17 AM
I think it is a brand new faucet.I got 200 in my first claim.200 satoshi is not enough for 120 minute Smiley

Maybe you could try this: "Thank you for your satoshis and the work you put into your faucet; However 200 is not enough for me..."

People are always acting like these satoshis cost nothing. Kinda rude.

I got 200 satoshis. Thanks ahmad! Smiley
2095  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: CoinDice.win: 200 sat every 30 minutes! on: February 25, 2016, 11:08:31 AM
Already lowered to 200?

I understand that you need to find the right balance but you also must understand that people invest in advertising your faucet so.....

2100  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: CoinDice.win: 500 sat every 30 minutes! on: February 22, 2016, 07:33:26 PM
hello phibay!

faucet is using ipintel detection script to determine whether an ip is proxy/vpn/thor.node; this means that the ip detection is 'outsourced' Smiley and i only have the option to turn it on or off, not adjust the settings. i'm sorry about that.

Lol you should not tell what site is checking your IP. Now scammers will be able to check if their IP is blocked or not.  Roll Eyes
