Sniffdog seems alright, haven't been using it long though. I feel that it switches too fast for Alexis though. A lot of time I watch it, it changes algos before all the cards start up.
Can u give me a link to Sniffdog, anyways what are people mining on 1080 ti these days still sticking to skein at hashrefinery  my stats are on here somewhere |

that's normal. it's the notation for <pool>-<coin>.. since you can not choose your coin at zpool, the coin is "unknown" |

Advices:
1-whattomine is always showing correct amounts if you know how to use it. I always forecast my upcoming payment amount by using whattomine. Just as i wrote be sure to not to become paranoid by everytime changing your mining coin because you will earn 0.001 $ more. Be clever and analyze carefully. Don't change your coin so frequently. This is long-term run. Hit nd runs are so much rare and needs luck factor, dont fell for them.

Thanks for sharing. My mobo only supports 4 gpus, so thats what i will have eventually. Still not sure wether to buy a ti or not. Edited: I keep wondering if it is earning me more to mine dgb at flypool or TBF, and have it exchanged myself. It would be more work too. What do you think? I will not keep DGB, so it will be exchanged almost every day or so. I need BTC atm. |

They are all doing 800 Sols with a bit less than 140 watts each power draw (750W for the entire rig including system overhead), and operating in a 90° F (32° C) environment, so not unduly cool by any means. What miner are you using? Your stats sounds incredible. My cards are running over 200w at 75% with 120 overclock and they are only doing 720sols. 720 sols where? what pool? my strix was doing 780+ sols with less than 400w for entire rig. think it was about 300w, i dont have a meter anymore plugged in. gpu temp is less than 60°c with fans at 70%, cpu at 29-32 °c (open rig) if you are like me and you want to earn btc, you should play around with different algos.. i tried a few places mining eth, but was earning less than at hr with skein |

The pool earned just 0.06147588 Today How can you earn so much? It's a great pool and I have a great GPU. Credits go to user Fromage for optimising the miner for a 1080 ti. |

Yes. Keeping altcoins and waiting untill they go up in value is a nice strategy. I do this with bitcoin. Near 5 euro / 6 usd a day mining skein at HR. How is Skein is DGB right? that's giving you 6 USD currently ? with the current market value? Yeah, I was doing that but for me that's putting a lot of faith in just BTC -what I'm doing now- it divides the faith in DGB ZEC and BTC lol HashRefinery has myriad, digibyte, unitus, bitplanet, aurora on the skein algo. 6 usd... some days yes.. the stats are in the link. they are live. i tried nist5 and skunk, but skein seems to be more stable |

i saw your post and now mining nist5 and skein at HashRefinery  I switched back to skein after a few coins on nist5 were dropped. And, how are your earnings coming along? i have 3x msi gtx1080ti. and the Total Earned at hashrefinery is 0.01422997 BTC 8/25 12:44 0.02183337 BTC 8/27 21:10 (+9 Japan time) 0.0076034 BTC increased in 52hours. i think its ok for me,little more profits than mine signatum. 0.0076034 in 52 hours = 0,0035092615384615 in 24 hours 0,0035092615384615 = 12,82 eur according to preev 12,82 / 3 = 4,27 euro OR 5,094 USD per card That's pretty good. Some days are better than others. |
