Hi I've been using Nemosminer for a few weeks now and I am really liking it.

I was hoping that you would be open to suggestions of how to perhaps improve it.

The miner switches algos very often but by the time those rewards mature and make it through the exchange the momentary increase in estimated BTC/day that made the miner switch has long past and you get very little of those rewards.

Could it be possible to have a variable in the start bat that would set how often the miner checks profitability and how often it switches algos?
Ideally I'd like to be able to set it to check every few minutes but to only switch every hour based on what on average was most profitable during the past hour.  I think that working on those longer term averages will give a better chance of getting a more stable return by the time the rewards clear the exchange.

So to sum up:
NemosMiner should switch only every hour, and should switch to what was most profitable on average for the past hour.

Very nice idea. Hope someone can help you/us. Smiley

So I downloaded Ccminer and I started mining nist5. The stats page says I'm earning about 2,5 euro a day. That's nice.

So then I do a clean install of the NiceHash app. It says Lyra2v is the best algo... at 1,9 euro a day. Why is this?

@nicehash: Can you please answer and explain?
Why aren't all algo's for a 1080 Ti included in the NH app? X13, Nist5, Quark seem valid algos for a 1080 Ti.

I get the feeling that I've been earning less than I should have earned the last couple of weeks because some algos were excluded.
I've been mining at a different pool lately... and Nist5 and X13 are amongst the best earning algos there.

If some algos are excluded for my GPU, this problem may also exist for other types/brands of GPUs, meaning some people are earning less than they should?

what is an easy & quick alternative pool to use when zpool is down, that pays in btc?

HashRefinery.

Zpool down?

Same here.

Wink

Also, why is Nist5 not an algo listed in my NiceHash. I'm using a single 1080 Ti and it only gives a few algo's. Why is that?

If you install NiceHash Legacy Miner 1.8.2 it has the Nist5 algorithm as an option to mine.  There are some other additions as well, so it's very much worth the time to check it out.

I'll try it, thanks.

Edited: Why isn't x15, x13, quark, ... among the options? I've been using NH for weeks and weeks; I get the feeling that I might have been missing out on getting the best $$$ for my GPU/time.
Is there a way to add more algo's manually? To the legacy version?

Is it possible to use Nemos for several algo's at NiceHash (thus using the NiceHash stratum servers)?

Whats wrong with HashRefinery today? Anyone an idea?
1611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: July 22, 2017, 08:46:27 PM
Started all over and seems to work only a few times.

nist5 with ccminer (Klaust) was launched 3 times succesfully... and the 4th time it hangs.

1612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: July 22, 2017, 08:13:48 PM

Can someone please explain how to fix the ccminer issue?

I'm using windows 10 and 1 gpu 1080ti

I get an error in the side bar (multiple errors) "an application was blocked from accessing gpu ccminer.exe"

I think the error overloads the computer one way or other and it reboots. I don't see it until next morning when I wake up.

I'd appreciate if someone could help.

TIA

allow access to file with firewall and anti/malaware might fix up what is blocking it

Fromage, I'm trying to use Nemos with HashRefinery but the ccminer seems to be hanging (nist5 and skein). Any idea what's wrong? Thanks!

Did you open up mem?

http://1stminingrig.com/best-windows-setup-configuration-tweaks-for-mining/

skein is memory intense

were you running nemo before? New one?

Yes mem is ok, and yes I ran Nemo before. Without probs.

Edited to add: Benchmarking works perfectly. Seems like it just stopped working.

First time i have heard about it, cannot be good at all.

Reason : Malwarebytes
blocked a suspected bad URL or an unwanted program.

So i do not see the site, it must have bad reputation score, even Doublers and HYIP sites are blocked by malwarebytes, i never see any of them.

Edit to add

Adbtc.top is currently hosted at Aruba Net. This domain is connected to IP address 94.177.163.189 which is hosted on a server that appears to be located in Arezzo, Italy.

Never had any problem buddy. It's a great site. Very few captchas, fast. No popups, no installers..
1615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nicehash vs Nemosminer ZPool on: July 22, 2017, 07:16:00 PM
...

I understand what you are saying and I assume that you are right.

That still doesn't change the fact that I earned 1,8 euros less in 3 days. If everything would stay thesame, that would be 18 euros in 30 days.

So when should we use zpool (with Nemos or not) over NiceHash? Only when new coins are added?

1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: July 22, 2017, 06:34:20 PM
I choose 4 algos

skein
neoscrypt
nist5
lyra2RE2

Then I took nemominer .... and made it so it mines at hashrefinery and at zpool.

https://mega.nz/#F!RPxCFBhB!ihNABH6KCFtebjOgdX1p3g if yah wanna try it out. Just change the btc address.

Merci for sharing Fromage. Going to give this a try.
1617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nicehash vs Nemosminer ZPool on: July 22, 2017, 06:14:51 PM
This is a comparison between Nicehash and this Nemosminer/Zpool.

I've been following this thread for a while now and finally decided to try out this miner script.  I currently use Nicehash and have seen profits dip, like everyone else, so I decided to try out some alternate scripts.

I ran Nicehash on a single 1060 6GB for 12 hours, then alternated to Nemosminer for another 12 hours.  This would run Nicehash for 12 hours, then Nemosminer for 12, Nicehash for 12 hours and then Nemosminer again for 12.

Setup:
Nicehash 1.8.0.1 - All algorithms enabled, but Nicehash always chose to mine using Claymore's dual-miner
Nemosminer 2.0.7 - All algorithms enabled, interval set to 3000

What I saw was that Nicehash would give me $0.10 or 0.0363 mBTC an hour consistently.  Nemosminer/Zpool would give me $0.05 or 0.0161 mBTC an hour.

So, it would seem that Nicehash, even though it has a higher fee and the Claymore dev fee, I still make almost double with this one 1060 card.

NOTE: I did try other intervals for Nemosminer, such as 300, 600, 900 and 6000, but they all gave the same mBTC rate, no change.

NOTE2: The mBTC rate prediction that Nicehash displays turned out to be pretty close, but Nemosminer shows double what I actually made.  I wouldn't trust that.

NOTE3: For Nemosminer/Zpool, I used the total unpaid balance, including inmature funds that I hadn't received yet, so I didn't calculate just on what had cleared.  If I calculated on just cleared and mature funds, then the outcome would have been much lower for Nemosminer/Zpool.

I am really happy that you posted this post since I was going to post thesame thing. The last 4 days I earned an average of 2,4 eur/day with Nemo/zpool. I too have tried different intervals. Nothing seems to work.

With NiceHash I was making at least 3 eur/day.

Earning with them is good but they seem have less anti bots features.

That's what I like. A lot of satoshi: Some days 2000-4000 and not to many anti-bot features. Smiley
1619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: July 22, 2017, 07:55:21 AM
Setting the interval to 3000 today.

What information are you looking for? It's a scam always been a scam and always will be a scam so if you want to invest in that site in any way shape or form have fun and you can always drop some coins off at our door on the way out. Try to learn that not everything glittering is not gold and you have to be specific in choices.

It's a PTC/faucet. Not an investment site (ponzi). You need to check the site before writing such things.

Up to now they have been paying. Never missed one payment. They have up to 4000 satoshis some days.
