2121  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there anything like Bitcoin savings? on: March 15, 2023, 07:07:03 AM
There is no good point of mentioning a centralized exchange for anything related to holding, it is not your coin on blockchain and which means you have no full control over your own coins.

That is why sir Im not recommending it and I actually says DYOR first  Grin Maybe OP can see how the system work and of course, you didn't quote my message about buy and send to own cold wallet  Grin
2122  Economy / Economics / Re: How SVB fall going to affect bitcoin, crypto in general? on: March 15, 2023, 04:02:47 AM
Those who are worried about the future of USDC can stop using it and go back to uisng other options like cash, fiat money, and so on.

Its simple yet very true  Cool

if you guys don't like it just stay away. yeah trading futures is usually using stablecoin but there is centralized exchange that use altcoin as collateral.

and SVB collapse has an impact to crypto even this only small if you notice almost all stablecoin is de-peg from 1$ when SVB collapse. and bitcoin had little shock too.

2124  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you survived during covid19 ? on: March 15, 2023, 03:35:18 AM
well, this covid really kills everything this shit it makes everyone sad except the vaccine company or maybe a couple of elite global if they do exist.

When Covid 19 arrive whole my village got lockdown me my brother and even my grandmother got sick. I got unemployed because the company I worked is bankrupt and lots going on huffttt and right know I'm still unemployed  Lips sealed but this forum really help me a lot.
2125  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there anything like Bitcoin savings? on: March 15, 2023, 03:30:31 AM
You mean like automatically yes they do exist binance couple of months ago introduced a feature called https://www.binance.com/en/auto-invest/ basically they do buy and DCA and your bitcoin is locked for the amount of time. But DYOR because it happens on Centralized Exchange. Im not recommending it maybe you can figure it how the system works and you can buy your own btc

The safest way is to do DCA manually and send to your cold wallet. and I do recommend this
2126  Economy / Speculation / Re: The bitcoin pump on March 12 on: March 15, 2023, 03:15:37 AM
Based on that tweet, it's basically Binance's reserve fund so technically yes it's Binance's money.
You know the news right Paxos who backed BUSD and USDP against SEC, this is just my opinion I think CZ wanna get rid of their BUSD Roll Eyes hehehehe

I remembered that a few days ago stablecoins went down below 1$ except for Tether, didn't USDC even fall by 0.88$ and a lot of people panicked in this event and other holders of usdc even sold.

But usdc also recovered immediately and it was immediately restored to its 1:1 ratio, which is probably why those who sold usdc are now regretting what happened.

Yeah the stablecoin that survived is USDT and BUSD all other coin is depeg including USDC is worse because of their money is mostly on SVB. Indluding algorithmic stablecoin like DAI is suffering

Luna too if see the coingecko  Grin and i don't know why this coin pretty much still exist
2127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is the last chance to exchange stablecoins for Bitcoin on: March 15, 2023, 02:45:30 AM
More reasons why you should never use stablecoins for anything other than a temporary trading hedge. Roll Eyes

I Do agree with you but trust me a lot of people still use it when the bear market comes or when they trade on the futures market.  Grin

and back if you remember actually there is a lot of news that talks about Stablecoin

1. Tether with their backed USD
2. USDC with SVB bank currently
3. Terra Luna fail
4. Paxos who backed USDP and BUSD against SEC

and Other but look people still gonna use it  Lips sealed and the marketcap is still on the rising  Grin. Crazy Right
2128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $4 billion lost in total from DeFi Exploits so far. Guesses for 2023? on: March 14, 2023, 08:16:19 AM
Can you share the source?

I usually watch DeFi Rekt or exploit news on https://rekt.news/ and yes the value is crazy the site itself made a list like hall of fame here https://rekt.news/leaderboard/

The recent hack 2022 and 2021 top of the list Ronin Hack and Poly Network alone totaling around $1.2 Billion. Crazy Right
2129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why does it have to be XRP? on: March 14, 2023, 06:22:56 AM
but till how long? would it be another 10 years before finding the true sense of investing in this coin?

I don't know, too much going on right know the recent news about the bankruptcy of the bank is already made any of investment instrument goes bad. I think the best what we can do for now is to wait until everything settles first.

Meanwhile we better look up alternative coin like Layer 1 & 2
2130  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we get the fed pivot right now? on: March 14, 2023, 06:19:55 AM
Well I don't like this domino effect but I hope the FED Steps into Schwab, the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank already triggered the FDIC(Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation) and make things settle at least for now.

Just doing a quick search the Schwab stock is already fell but the companies denies if they will bankrupt too and I hope so even Im not their customer or US citizen

SVB collapse only hit their founder "billionaire Charles schwab-hit-by-one-of-worst-finance" https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-03-13/svp-fallout-billionaire-charles-schwab-hit-by-one-of-worst-finance-wipeouts

2131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto related jobs on: March 14, 2023, 06:07:35 AM

I am also interested but the telegram jobs that they have offered are very difficult, they are full time and the pay is very low, there are some that pay 100usd but it is a job for a whole week including Saturdays and Sundays, some require 10 hours per day and that is like not having a life, I mean, I can do a job like this, but 100 usd seems to be very little for such a great effort, and those who do it I consider that they give away their work and also harm others, because otherwise everyone will want to pay that or less and do a lot.

Yeah I also heard the rumor about it, but how to get the job is there any website to visit? Most of the Crypto Telegram Moderator is not from US basis they all over the word but the 100$ i think is enough if we have stable working hour and shift system.
2132  Economy / Speculation / Re: The bitcoin pump on March 12 on: March 14, 2023, 06:02:50 AM
Update as of March 13: CZ/Binance is buying $1 billion worth of crypto(BTC/ETH/BNB). Bullish news but $1 billion is technically just a drop in the bucket.

https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1635131601884700674

Just saw your post and tracked down the Twitter link, and ended up with this tx https://etherscan.io/tx/0x84ca583046bf011fa040eb9da219e9397d32d54bda7ea99d548a9cdf0a996b4d

CZ is actually insane buying 1 Billion worth of BTC/ETH/BNB but I am just curious is this Binance Money and you know the conflict between BUSD and SEC right?

The other things like OP said it might be true most of the USDC money in SVB Bank and I just read the news - Stablecoin USDC nearly regains $1 peg after Circle says $3.3 billion held with SVB will be available - https://www.cnbc.com/2023/03/13/usdc-nearly-regains-1-peg-after-circle-says-svb-deposit-is-available.html
2133  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is ageing and old people part of bitcoin? on: March 14, 2023, 05:49:25 AM
I think on this forum alone there is a member who is above 50 years old. Like everything Learning don't depends on age old people can learn bitcoin. and like other said there is Commodity stock and forex trade back then till this date. Our parent or maybe old people who play investment platform might little learn and they maybe will understand
2134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price. Inflation persists. on: March 14, 2023, 05:41:16 AM
Things that I hate is, Somehow United States Economic problem has an effect on an entire global nation. You know recent news that Silicon Valley Bank collapsed. made the second biggest Stablecoin USDC struggle to stay 1$ even though right now its considered to settle.

CNN made a live updates too - https://edition.cnn.com/business/live-news/silicon-valley-bank-collapse-updates-03-13-23/index.html

the economic news keep coming and yes we might not see 40K soon. Stay above or stable at 25K I think is good position right now.
2135  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Technology to aid bitcoin mining on: March 13, 2023, 03:32:05 AM
Moving to Proof of Stake make bitcoin use less energy but I don't think this good Idea and community would like it.

But as far as I know bitcoin machine today is already efficient if we can look at the past

Antminer S1 Spec
Antminer S1 Dual Blades Spec
Hash rate: 180 GH/S
Power consumption: about 360 W from the wall
Power supply: 3 +12V DC input
Power efficiency: 2 W/GH/s on wall

Today Antminer S19XP

Model   S19 XP
Algorithm | Cryptocurrency   SHA256 | BTC/BCH/BSV
Hashrate, TH/s   141 ±3%
Power on wall @25°C, Watt   3031.5 ±5%
Power efficiency on wall @25°C, J/TH   21.5 ±5%

New ASIC new technology and a lot of things push miner manufacturers to keep more efficient

what makes bitcoin hard to mine is that because the difficulty of block keeps increasing since a lot of miner popping up and introducing of big mining farm. But the machine is getting efficient .
2136  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Can new miners still make good profit? on: March 13, 2023, 03:03:56 AM
Yeah Mining can still be profitable. But Most of them have not single miner but multiple of it take a look here https://www.asicminervalue.com/ or here https://whattomine.com/miners.

and today miner have a big farm and one or two company actually listed on US Stock Exchange even the Canaan.io Producer of Bitcoin Asic listed on NASDAQ
2137  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What is mining's actual process? on: March 13, 2023, 02:49:30 AM
All above me has already said the mining actual process but Im gonna share this so you can might understand how mining work

Its actually 8 Years Video but still fun to watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3dqhixzGVo Mining with paper and pencil
2138  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: America's first nuclear-powered bitcoin mining farm on: March 13, 2023, 02:36:26 AM
It is good to see mining farm like this

If Nuclear Energy is cheap, why aren't we seeing widespread use of it as compared to fossil fuel?

Like FP91G said its very expensive to dispose the waste, Another reason is Nuclear Accident and

"Facing similar challenges to its European counterparts — including technological problems, cost escalations, and huge upfront investments — nuclear power has become a less attractive option than cheaper solar and wind power" - https://www.brinknews.com/nuclear-power-is-declining-in-the-west-and-growing-in-developing-countries/

but In my opinion, using nuclear still the best choice over coal.

My country - Indonesia's Nuclear Energy Control Agency (Bapeten) has announced that the Indonesian government plans to build a new nuclear power plant by 2039, in order to help the country achieve its target of reaching net zero emissions by 2060. The capacity and location of the future nuclear plant have not yet been communicated - https://www.enerdata.net/publications/daily-energy-news/indonesia-plans-build-nuclear-power-plant-2039.html
2139  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Biden proposed 30% mining tax. what would impact on Bitcoin mining? on: March 13, 2023, 02:13:44 AM
Yeah its a huge jump and most of them might run away or just pay the tax till the new regulation says "BAN ON CRYPTO MINING".  or  they might declare non-mining operation and say it datacenter or so.

Kazakhstan is crypto-mining friendly but I don't know until when it going to last. Since there is news that says "An individual's income from the sale of digital asset issued by a foreign issuer will be subject to personal income tax at the rate of 10%. The taxable basis will be the positive difference between the sales price and the purchase price of the digital asset." - https://www.mondaq.com/tax-authorities/1290116/changes-in-the-digital-mining-taxation-in-kazakhstans Just the sale of digital asset

Well Trump taxed  China imports at 30% I have paid thousand in import duties . It slowed my mines growth.

I would need to read the tax bill proposed to under stand if it will hurt my mine as much or more than the import tax.
Is the regulation import still there, I mean if tax on mining is approved you need more time to even ROI right?
