2121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the general issues/problems do traders or investors usually face during on: January 25, 2020, 09:25:46 AM
There are some challenges faced by the traders on the markets. It might involve hacking or security of the exchange too. We already saw a number of exchanges getting hacked and the funds of users on those exchanges were simply vanished which gave huge loss for the traders who used to use those platforms to trade. This has become a most deleterious problem to the trading industry.

People do not really want to lose their funds only because they choose a lower security exchange so choosing a better exchange with additional securities like 2FA, SMS verification, Email verification, etc might be a better choice in order to avoid such problems. Excluding these challenges, traders also face the issues of high price drop instantly. We all know how volatile the markets are and this really makes a quick loss if you miss your exit point.
2122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which was the Best Bounty of 2018? on: January 25, 2020, 08:28:05 AM
I forgot that in 2018 I participated in what project bounties, but I remember that in that year or at least mid-2018 the benefits I got from doing the bounty project were not large or arguably only a small amount of profit because we know that in the year These coin prices began to decline and we can say that the results we get from doing bounty are few but for me the most important thing is that I can survive and continue to generate profits from cryptocurrency by doing bounties or trading.
Usually if you join a potential project in their bounty campaign than you could gain good amount of profits for your hard work but you need to make immense research in this case to make you able to understand the difference between regular project and potential project. Choose a project who has huge demand in the initial stage itself as it would surely generate huge demand after the ICO/IEO is completed which would give you good value for the tokens earned.

These projects are hard to find in the current time but were mostly available in the early time of 2016 to 2018. Most early projects have the value of millions at the current time which their bounty hunters would have earned but none might be holding those for such long time.
2123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance price prediction for 2020 on: January 25, 2020, 07:58:03 AM
I don't agree with it until there will be the next big news for us. IEO on binance has already lost a lot of demand and binance must search another idea to bring back the demand again to buy BNB massively like what already done when there was a big hype on binance IEO.
But it looks like possible caused by the quarter burn will be always happening.
It looks like the current movement still pegged with bitcoin and we can't expect a huge price for binance at the end of this year.
Yes even I agree that binance is losing it's demand due to their launchpad but yet they have some profitable IEO's held over there so it should not be compared. They also have Margin, futures and leverage trading so it keeps them on route. They have huge number of registrations and it would keep growing the demand for their coin.

Binance would surely find some or the other way to continue rising the demand for their coin. They might reach upto $20 iif bull runs arrive this time as we might be expecting considering the graphs and patterns. If price for bitcoin rises, it might also carry prices for similar coins in the bull markets. BNB is a strong coin and there also are benefits in holding the coin so it would not at least dump so it might be good invest into it.
2124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: free advertising for btc? on: January 24, 2020, 05:11:31 PM
Have you ever heard a show discussing bitcoin in their segment good or bad, i think this shows that we are already going in the real world for good and there will be no stopping us, even if trump, colbert, and buffet try to contradict what crypto really is , this is really a good sign, since this show in national TV will make people curious about bitcoin, i hope there will be more of this here is the link and see for yourself
https://www.newsbtc.com/2020/01/12/late-night-host-exposed-millions-bitcoin/
There should be shows and conferences discussing about bitcoins. This will attract more people towards cryptocurrencies and perhaps might even influence those peoples to start their career into the era of cryptocurrencies. People will get interest to know more about bitcoins out of which they'll even start investing which will lead bitcoins to the next upper level. There should be sessions and advertisements free of cost for the ones especially who are not in cryptos yet.

Curiosity will be generated amongst people which will be resulting people into bitcoins. This would also help the peoples who newly join into the cryptocurrencies to start earning a passive source of income. Most of the peoples should know about cryptocurrencies so that we can create an immense demand and it would indirectly hike the price for cryptos.
2125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people debate so much about BTC value? on: January 24, 2020, 03:30:45 PM
BTC rate changes anytime, it may pump and it may drop. Number of people and so the number of opinions. Different people has different skill sets. So they keep debating as per their experience and knowledge of bitcoins. People tend to suggest their opinions regarding cryptocurrencies. So, there will be always different views coming off for price fall and bitcoins rise up. Actually the price falls as well as rises only because of the high volatile nature of cryptocurrencies.

We can really not predict the exact prices of each and every currency as they mostly depend on the demand and supply factor and we can never actually control the demand atleast for coins with higher volume.
2126  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Can Gain 100% In 2020 - Halving Not Priced In, Says Fundstrat on: January 23, 2020, 03:20:29 PM
Lol, what if it doesn’t work out that way, their staff will be like ‘whaaaat?’ Grin Grin lmao... Anyway, I do hope that it works out and Bitcoin goes up by 100% that they have said and even more than that, I’m ready to grab my second profit from investing in cryptocurrency.

Yes, I did make profit from the last bull run and it wasn’t just small profit, but a big one. When I joined Bitcoin at first I wasn’t seeing as an investment asset, I saw it as a method of transaction because it was the only means that I could have used for my online job then, before I started noticing the fluctuating rate and the money in my wallet reducing and increasing sometimes. That’s when I realized it’s not just meant for transaction alone, maybe for now, and as time goes on it will become stable.
2127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 give new hope to Altcoin? on: January 21, 2020, 07:15:33 PM
It does give ME some hope about altcoins. Everyone seems to realize that bitcoin is not the only coin out there, thats a very very important improvement in public interest. After the 2017 peak most people just got out of altcoins and that meant exchanging it to bitcoin and selling that, now bitcoin got hurt as well but alts only had selling off whereas bitcoin had purchases made with alts as well which helped it a bit so alts went down a lot more compared to bitcoin itself, hell its close to 50% of what it used to be on 2017 peak, not too bad, alts are down 80%+ compared to what they used to be.

This year people are actually believing in altcoins and they are actually making good progress as well, I haven't seen that since the ATH times and hopefully this year we will get closer to those days.
2128  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think is a good sustainable % to make from day trading? on: January 21, 2020, 05:38:54 PM
Nobody claims that making a sustainable % would be possible, however we can talk about averages here.

Like you can make a 10% profit on Monday but lose 2% of it on Tuesday, that doesn't mean you can talk in daily terms like that, but you just take an average of it. Making some sort of 0.05% average per day profit would be good, that is around 20 percent increase yearly, around 18 or so actually but good enough.

I know that is not really what people here looking for, everyone wants to make 100%+ increase and want to get rich but reality is if you can make 20% profit in dollars for 10 years in a row back to back, you can actually get very rich (depending on where you start) and if you continue to do that 50 years in a row! you will become like warren buffet as well.
2129  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price. Will go up? or Will go down below $8600? over the night on: January 21, 2020, 04:28:36 PM
Well, bitcoin doesn't move constantly, you can't expect it to be volatile all the time, that would be unsustainable for bitcoin as well, no one trades that frequently and that much. Sure there are day traders but they are few and rare in between compared to long holders and exchanges who keep the money in their cold wallets. True fact is that bitcoin does a move quickly and inside a day, it goes from 7k to 9k in few days, then it has to stop, what can it do? Go from 7k to 9k and then to 11k to 13k and continue like that?

Eventually it will have to stay at the same price and we are at that position right now. Maybe it will go up next, maybe it will go down (I think up is bigger chance) but in the end we can't expect it to do it so quickly, we have to give it some time to recover and recollect itself.
2130  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: January 21, 2020, 02:09:25 PM
Long term holders are not idiots as they have chosen the easiest way of trading; if anyone who understand that holding is still a type of trading will never think about holders as idiots. Trading skills are not possible for most people and this type of people simply choosing to be a long term holders. I guess if crypto space is not believing into long term holding then we cannot have the marketcap what we are having today; marketcap of crypto space might be doing under one billion dollar level too and bitcoin might be trading below $100 without long term adopters.
2131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Monday Is the Best Day to Buy Bitcoin? on: January 21, 2020, 07:32:37 AM
Maybe you are right as I have observed bitcoin prices are trading high for the week on Sundays during 2016 and 2017. Yes, I had used that peak for paying my partners/affiliates with comparatively less BTC. To buy bitcoins, we need cheaper price levels, it means you are denoting bitcoin prices are testing low on Monday? Let me observe it on my own then I will try to exploit it in possible means for my benefits.

Market directions are decided my sentiment of individual traders like when most people decide the same thing then that will be the trend of markets. I mean due to this discussion people may start selling bitcoins by Friday/Saturday/Sunday so that they may buy cheaper on Monday; who knows?
2132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scams and new Bitcoin users on: January 21, 2020, 05:25:02 AM
There are lots of cryptocurrency scammers on Twitter and I’m stupid because I almost fell for it, lol.
Well, I almost fell for it because it looked real, they used a handle that was a bit similar to a popular business man and I thought it was his real account. That was a long story. Most people here are not making use of this kind of discussion but learning only after experiencing such incident in real time; that is must be really bad thing and this helps scammers to exist.

People really have to be careful and avoid these scammers as much as they could. This time around I’m not really looking at any other opportunities there are, I just focus on trading and investment. And as for signature campaigns, I do through research before making my choice.
2133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Truth That Will Eventually Kill Bitcoin on: January 21, 2020, 03:24:37 AM
In the below 6-minute video, it is explained why Bitcoin is a fraud where a gift record is falsely presented to the public as a market item.

https://youtu.be/LlPwmW4XphE
You need to understand that people can say anything when they hate Bitcoin. There are lots of people who didn’t get the opportunity to invest in Bitcoin when the price was low so they are now pissed when they hear people mention it. Just like someone I know that’s always angry for that same reason, sometimes he wants to invest in Bitcoin but he’s afraid that he might lose his money, and if the price should go up then he gets pissed that he missed it and then he starts getting angry and saying Bitcoin BS. He just wants to make money and he doesn’t want to lose, he’s also not ready to take the risk.

So, don’t listen to what haters are saying, you should do proper research and make the decision yourself.
2134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you currently holding cryptocurrencies and now speculating what will happen? on: January 21, 2020, 02:43:01 AM
I’m not too excited about what’s going to happen, because I am not even sure of it. So, I still have it in mind that there is the possibility that I can lose my money, though I am not afraid about that happening because the money in my wallet I am fully ready to risk and lose part of it.

In 2018 I saw someone make a prediction that the price of will go down to $2500 and then start going up from there to a bull run and I bought in around $3,600. The price kept going down and never reached the $2k+ as predicted and later went back up to $14000 before dropping back to $7-$8k. I have been waiting since then and after the halving depending on how things are, I might still wait till end of this year to see if the current predictions I’m seeing are accurate or not.
2135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Just Plunged $700 Upon Reaching $9,060, Correction or Reason To Panic? on: January 20, 2020, 07:25:27 PM
There will be people selling bitcoin at all times, thats not something new and has always happened in history of bitcoin, whenever price
goes up a bit, there are people who get out of the market for a while, hell even people who sell so they can buy lower later on.

However, this was a very very cool drop because at the same time showed us that we are in a good position at this moment, it could have gone down all the way to 7k and nothing would have happened but it didn't, which tells us "the sellers in the market have only a power of a 5% drop and not more" and that is very encouraging to go further into bitcoin these days. Next time we try to break 9k level I am pretty sure we will reach the 10k levels as well and go even further because sellers already used their ammunition and it hurt only this much.
2136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin provides more long-term profits on: January 20, 2020, 06:33:06 PM
Yeah I agree, bitcoin is more stable, of course if you pick the right altcoin you can make a lot more money, if you can pick the right coins back to back few times you can definitely make a loooot of money as well, however the big question is, can you? I mean you could pick the correct times of bitcoin going down and up and you can make that much money just with bitcoin as well, why don't we?

Because, we don't know the exact times we can buy or sell bitcoin. Same goes for altcoins, you can make more money with altcoins if you know what to buy and when to buy it but that looks like not something we posses that commonly, at least not on bitcointalk people, we make some money time to time but we also lose time to time as well and end up break even levels most frequently.
2137  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin hit 15K in 2020? on: January 20, 2020, 05:21:24 PM
By the looks of it bitcoin is prime to go up again, there is plenty of times during this bull run that price has fell down and that means we are going stronger these days, unlike the times we went up really high but also dropped hard. So, from the looks like bitcoin is at the very least doing well right now with all the people selling because price went up.

What you have to realize is that price of bitcoin going up means that more and more people will sell, and when you reach the resistance point (which last I check was at 9.2-9.4k level) there will be even more people selling, so if price doesn't skyrocket over that price, there will be a fall and that is expected, however thankfully the price didn't went down too much which means we are still on a bull mindset.
2138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Market Update: Key Level & 20 WMA Reclaimed, What's In Store for BTC & E on: January 20, 2020, 04:48:12 PM
It looks like maybe bitcoins bull run is just starting, like we had a decent increase in price but all of the charts I have seen recently paints the same picture that price is just doing very well at the moment and has a big huge increase on the way. I wouldn't be shocked if we can actually hit over 15k+ before the halving starts, after that it could be prime for even more.

After all, there will be half less bitcoins printed every single day and that is a very important thing we need to put into calculation as well. 2020 looks like it will be the year of bitcoin for sure and everything looks like it will be for altcoins as well. You can literally check the YTD increase of all coins and almost all of them had an amazing year so far with no sign of stopping as well.
2139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain the most desirable skill of 2020 according to LinkedIn on: January 19, 2020, 06:41:26 PM
According to Linkedin, blockchain in 2020 is one of the most desirable skills, right after UX design or cloud computing. Read full article about this:
https://blocktoq.com/crypto-news/blockchain-the-most-desirable-skill-of-2020-according-to-linkedin/
I don’t really get people who are saying that Blockchain is not a skill, if you don’t have Blockchain skills then you won’t be able to create and run a Blockchain, as simple as that. As someone that wants to be a Blockchain engineer, if you have the following skills you can: web developing skills, cryptography, data structure, smart contracts, and a lot of them falls under that.

So, I don’t really see why people would be saying that it is not skill. If a company wants to hire someone to work on a Blockchain for them they would be specific and say they need a Blockchain engineer.
2140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin still bigger in 2019 from all other Commodities on: January 19, 2020, 05:48:29 PM
This is a good information, but I’m still not going to blame those that are whining about price going down, because it all depends on what you got in. In 2019 the price went from $3,300 to $14,000 before turning back to $7,000 and $8,000 currently. Those that bought Bitcoin around $14000 won’t be happy because they are losing so they would want the price to go up, worst is those that got in around early 2018 at the peak price of $20k, they will be pissed by now and regretting why they did. As for those that invested at $3k they would be very happy because they got more than double their income.
