1501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big Chance (to grow) with small coins - which one? on: July 13, 2020, 10:00:32 PM
The two you have mentioned are quite good. I am not really the type of person that looks into new projects, I just prefer to buy them when they are grown and well established. I had some really bad experience with trying to buy new tokens, they are usually a disappointment. It can be good to buy a new token if you can find a good one, at least your money will grow with it as the project grows.

But, what annoys me is that most of these new projects, you will see some of them that looks good and you’re convinced, then you invest and the next thing you start hearing different stories. Sometimes it can be that the team abandoned it because they can’t cope, or it can be that you have been holding it for years and they are not making any progress because no new investors, and other problems. It’s just so annoying. I do understand that not all projects will be successful, but for now I’ve made up my mind to stay clear for sometime.
1502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do any casinos offer cryptocurrency staking? on: July 13, 2020, 09:30:30 PM
why would they do that ? whats the the purpose of gambling site in the first place ? only for playing a gambling  . adding more features to it already removes its essence of a gambling place and people will get distracted .  i dont see gambling site that supports staking yet but only investment feature . what more can we ask for ? i think this is enough  . people can already earn in different ways but if they love staking then they should head on to a dedicated staking platforms and not on a gambling site .
I think OP is asking a reasonable question.
There are quite a few proof of stake cryptocurrencies and the since casinos can take them as an investment in the house, it means they're running a wallet also. Users entrusting the casino with a deposit in the house could also use it as a service to stake. It would be a win-win situation for those making waggers, the house as well as investors.
You are right but the problem might be that if casinos allow staking then gamblers would have to lock their funds for some time period and we all know when we are loosing we get desperate and it would feel like hell to have your coins but you cannot use it, this might be the reason casinos hesitate to allow players to stake their coins.

Actually another reason might be because there are many other options that allow staking so why would a casino offer those services. I mean it is like people use casinos as wallets often so if people start using casinos for staking too then it would be like casinos doing everything Grin.
1503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: July 13, 2020, 08:53:47 PM
Isn't it getting a bit late for Biden to announce his VP candidate? I am not denying the fact that Hillary selected Tim Kaine only by mid-July.. but Biden may get an early spike, if he pick his VP candidate within the next 1-2 weeks. Else that advantage may go to Trump, as in his case the VP pick is already known. Anyway, I expect the announcement to come by the end of next week.
It could be a reason for Biden because he couldn't do his campaign and it really did hurt him. However Trump can't use it, not only he continued to campaign and he went to places and even risked other people's lives by making a smaller venue just so it would look crowded, but he was also the president during Covid as well, so he could have basically prevented this all along.

Even the worst kind of dictatorial third world countries realized that all you need to do is close the country for a bit and when goes out just give people tickets for not wearing a mask. Even if they are idiots who say lizard people rule the world and masks are there to make you aliens on this flat earth... or whatever BS those weird people believe lately, as long as you ticket them with money, they would have to pay just once and would learn to wear it as long as that is the rule. So, Trump can't blame covid, he has to accept the fact that even with Covid he did everything he could to win.
1504  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Signal Trading work for Cryptocurrencies on: July 13, 2020, 02:40:07 PM
Trading signal would not work 100% on all times. At times it can work and sometimes it will not work. The volatility is the key and better to trade based on what you think is right for you at that time and how much risk appetite you can take it. Also understand that trading is risky but rewarding as well. So, trade accordingly and with limited capital.
Everything in trading will not work all 100% of times. But, you need to choose what is more effective to work with like what is working at least more than 70% of times then you should adopt that alone. There is no point of working with what is accurate only for 50% of times. I have seen people who are using the trading signals which is having accuracy in less then 40%, because they have paid for that signals and that is the reason they are still using it. I just wonder on them because they are risking their capital just for the subscription fee paid for those signals.

Even when we are generating our own signals, it may not work for all hundred percent of times; because due to the level of technical analysis we have incorporated in our strategy, it will vary in accuracy. Then we must need to adopt some other strategy which will be having more accuracy rate.
1505  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A good book to learn how to trade. on: July 13, 2020, 02:09:11 PM
When I was into Forex trading I tried to learn from books; I had downloaded few books from online and printed them to study and also I have bought 2 books from shops for same purposes. But, I could not recall what I had learned from those books. All my trading skills are from my friend and when they explain some basics along with live market screens, you can easily in 2 minutes learn what 100 pages of a book can get you.

I'm not discouraging to learn from books but I'm just mentioning about what I have experienced in my  beginning days trading. Because, it will be too easier to understand when some mentor will be explaining you what is the concept and how to use them in live market.

Unfortunately most people are not that luckier to get a friend who is also into trading. Because if our friends are professional traders then definitely we can easily get into the level of professional like traders. Learning from friends is more easier and funny as well at the same time it will definitely more effective way because you will remember each and every technique that you learn from your friends unlike what you study from books.
1506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Overcome and Handle Your Mistakes in Trading? on: July 13, 2020, 01:26:17 PM
A good trader have a mindset like this "I trade to win and not to avoid losses". There are traders who doesn't want to lose and that is why they are not also winning. We should accept that losses are inevitable and it is part of the process of success.
Yes, accepting losses must be one of the effective way to handle your mistakes in trading. Because, you are not wasting your time by worrying on your mistakes but you are finding opportunity to learn something out of your mistakes that will definitely help you to grow in your trading at least in skills wise. Whenever you are developing your skills required for your trading then definitely you will start minimizing the number of occurrence of mistakes.

If we avoid to not lose, we will not learn because there are a lot of lessons that we can get if we lose in trading. I do not say that it is better to lose, I just want to clarify that losses is also a good thing for us.
I agree. We should not be afraid about losing; because only when we are taking the risk to trade regardless of profits or losses, we can learn something which will be definitely helping in some other occasion where market will be more wild in terms of fluctuations. Yes, all the traders who are more focused on not to lose may not learn new techniques of trading. They will trade as per their usual formula which may not help all the times.
1507  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade by yourself on: July 12, 2020, 09:48:29 PM
There is a difference between learning signals and other stuff from others and just taking them and using them. In one of them you learn not the signal itself but how they actually figured that out and gave out the signal, so that you can use the same system in the future and do it yourself, on the other you are just waiting for someone else to make you rich.

Of course the first one is the right method, do please learn from other veterans how to trade, not just follow their coin suggestions, but learn why they suggested it, that way when they are not around you would know what to look at in a coin as well. Of course it is not as easy as it sounds and takes a long time and you should learn from many veterans to cross check what they think and that is another a lot of time, but when you are ready, it will be much better for you.
1508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 20-Year-Old Robinhood Customer Dies By Suicide After Seeing A $730,000 Negative on: July 12, 2020, 09:18:36 PM
Honestly, we need to teach children at a very young age about economics. I understand that studying mathematics, history, geography, science and all other stuff at school is very very important but we should add economics at a very young age as well.

You know what my school had? Economics "branch", we had these branches like first aid branch, history branch basically extra curriculum stuff that each student would pick, it wasn't a class but it was a extra stuff that you did time to time outside of school class hours.

Well, I was in the economics branch and I could say that from age 7 I have learned the importance of saving whatever you can, even if it is 1 dollar, always try to buy everything as cheap as you can, and that helped me out a lot in life. If we could have simple economics class from very early age to end of high school, everyone would be smarter with their money.
1509  Economy / Speculation / Re: Miner's Strike! on: July 12, 2020, 08:34:19 PM
That OTC market is not something magical where you can go and sell at any hour of the day any amount, if there is no demand the miner has nowhere to sell. If the OTC deals were taking care of twice the volume in the past it either means that OTC dealers now get their supply for other sources which of course should have been seen in the price or, simply there is no demand at all and the whole thing about miners dealing mostly OTC was another myth.
There are two possibilities:
Miners still able to sell only through OTC or miners prefer to hold with the plan of selling my Christmas times.
Because, we are not having prices drastically falling if there is no enough demand in OTC markets and miners move into spot markets.

Yes before halving, miners might have been selling twice the amount of BTC than what they may do right now which makes us to assume that no selling pressure is being created by miners but obviously bitcoin market is lagging with new investors after pandemic. Fortunately bitcoin prices are stable which means new block rewards are somehow within the range of pandemic-hit demand levels. So, if there will be a recovery in our normal life which will impact on investors level as well so we can expect BTC prices to skyrocket because we are having lesser supply than what we had in last 4 years.
1510  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else see a big bitcoin upwards movement coming very soon? on: July 12, 2020, 07:04:46 PM
I do not think we could attribute the increasing of the price to just one nation. We have to realize that the price went down in everything, from stocks to gold, and then it increased a lot as well because in the end there had to be some recovery, this included bitcoin as well.

The only difference is the fact that halving happened right at the moment when everything was recovering and that included bitcoin as well. Doesn't matter if it was increasing or decreasing without that pandemic drop, because we will never know about that, but what we know is that price increased afterwards in may month.

Now all we need to do, is wait for it to make another movement, I don't know if it will be up or down but right now it is stable and eventually it will make another move for sure.
1511  Economy / Economics / Re: How long will it take banks to phase out physical cash completely? on: July 12, 2020, 05:08:49 PM
I do not think governments will stop issuing physical cash just for the reason on containing the spread of covid19. But what I guess is, government may focus on innovating methods which will effectively prevent the spread of virus even with physical cash. I mean they may start issuing cash in the form a new material where virus may live shorter time frame compared to how viruses are doing right now. I agree stopping completely physical cash must be the easiest solution here but practically that is not possible hence governments may work on new type of physical cash with less infective by nature.

Fortunate or unfortunate all the consequences of pandemic is somehow lead to trigger adoption of cryptos. Like, due to job losses we start working for freelancing which is usually making use of cryptos for known reasons and when stocks are not doing well due to lockdown reasons, bitcoin is trading stable which makes investors start focusing on it. Similarly if governments stop cashes then that will help people adopt cryptos immediately or after experiencing their government issued digital things.
1512  Economy / Economics / Re: Government+cryptocurrencies on: July 12, 2020, 02:07:36 PM
How can cryptocurrencies save the economy right now? And what do you mean saying that the government should give cryptocurrencies the full support? Switching from a traditional form of money to cryptocurrencies will be beneficial only for crypto investors.
Please remember individual investors' betterment again build the nation's economy. If government care about individual's freedom and economic betterment then they can allow them to transact cryptocurrencies like how they allow to deal gold or investing in other countries' real estate or bonds. Government allow me to swap my rice for wheat of another farmer then why not they allow to swap my BTCs for groceries or same wheat.

All I mean, governments never need to worry or get fear of opening cryptos for their people to adopt legally. It is very similar to allowing them any property but in digital format. They might be bothering about impact of taxation but if they work on intensively they can find all possible solutions as well.

The crypto community has realized that it is a digital asset that could support economies in these times of crisis and we are sure that we can provide our knowledge to our local communities for rapid adoption.
Yes, we must need an asset which is secured against global or local crisis; it is a basic rights of every human. So, governments must realize about the real application of cryptocurencies and then must work on the way which helps its each and every individuals. Hopefully in next few years many countries may unveil their stand on cryptos.
1513  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the cause of economy rise and fall. on: July 12, 2020, 08:36:56 AM
As long as the release of cash was controlled properly, even if there were more types of fiat released, it'd only lead to economic growth. Ofc, too much of something is always bad, and too much release of fiat at a single instance without any proper reason could lead to inflation.
You mean improper policies of government for printing money will lead to inflation and then hyper inflation and the collapse of economy? Not just with printing money, if government is failing in making proper economy related regulation then collapse of their economy is inevitable. We have seen many countries without enough manpower and natural resources have built their economy like super powered countries just because of good economic regulations and laws. So, if governments start caring about individuals' wealth by creating more job opportunities then their economy will get better over the time.

When governments fail carrying about their own people and their better economy? Only because of corruption. A corrupted government may not develop good economic policies but they might be allowing foreign investment for their own benefits which leads to suffering of their citizen.
1514  Economy / Economics / Re: Rise in US unemployment. Thoughts? on: July 11, 2020, 09:28:31 PM
In arab countries also the condition is same, they are evacuating foreign people to give opportunity for their citizens.Yesterday a local media reported that 800K people lost their jobs in Kuwait and they will be returned to the native region in real soon. Most likely Indian are affected due to this visa cancellation because they are the people who work on every sectors of different countries.
Okay, but in USA as for employing foreign workers, I think the reason they are stopping that for now is to prevent people from bringing in the coronvirus to their country. They already have lots of cases and I think they are the country with the highest number of Covid19 cases. So inviting people from other countries where there are same cases, will only add to their problems at this time.
Countries still employ people to work for them remotely. I have worked for a few companies/small businesses in the US without stepping foot there. I was just at home delivering all the jobs they want me to do. So, that's how it is.
1515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: July 11, 2020, 08:02:09 PM
There is 4 point difference and only 3 games left, that means 9 points available and Madrid has to lose 4 out of 9 points. That is like 2 draws in 4 games or 1 loss and 1 draw in 3 games. Looking at their game they will play Granada, Villareal and Leganes for those last three games. Villareal is 5th and only game that looks like there could be a point loss there (which I still doubt) Granada is 9th and Leganes is 19th! in the league.

So, I think if it is alright, we could say that Real is basically the champions, sure not mathematically and sure sportsbooks wouldn't pay up the bet just yet (on the outright champions bets) but whoever has a bet that Madrid would be champions could take a breather now. I was expecting this game because if Madrid lost points here that would make villareal game a bit more tough.
1516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 11, 2020, 05:55:52 PM
When you are giving away someone like Dame, there is no player that you can get (unless a superstar) that you would be happy about getting; which means if Lakers is not offering AD on that trade (which we all know they won't) that means no other player really matters at all. You could give all the role players you talked about and Lakers would still be force with Dame-Caruso-Lebron-AD- Mcgee because that would just be a superstar filled team on that three spot.

However if you are Portland, you are not looking to get players, you would be looking to get picks, and I mean picks as much as you can; which means if you do a three way trade with 2 teams giving picks to Portland and few role players to cover the salary requirement, then other two team can handle the rest amongst themselves. Portland can't get the talent back but at least they could start rebuilding which they have needed for a while now since Lamarcus left but at least they had one good post-season out of it.
1517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: One game vs a variety: which gives higher potential to a casino? on: July 09, 2020, 09:56:13 PM
I personally prefer a casino with multiple games and the reason behind it is because after playing a particular game over a week or two weeks makes me feel very dizzy and bored from the game. When primedice was first introduced dice was such a great idea and looked like dice alone can carry the crypto gambling but with time people got bored and now new games are required like Plinko, Slots, bustabit and Keno and many others are there.

As far as chances of winning goes, I feel they don't change much depending on whatever game I play because when I am lucky I will be winning even if I am spinning roulette and if I am not lucky even sports bet at 1.01 will lose.
1518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any successful and relatively new casinos? on: July 09, 2020, 06:49:35 AM
betearn is pretty knew and i think there pretty good and growing at a nice rate. There provable fair system is a little suspect but seems fine in genral
Can you please clarify what casino are you talking about specifically because after googling the name you gave I was able to find that some bet earn was actually a scam and they were busted as you can read here  - http://tradinghorizon.com/tag/betearn-scam/

If you miss-typed the casino name I would request you to please give us the correct name since I cannot even find a thread at bitcointalk with any similar names. In my opinion there are very few casinos that are created in recent past and have been successful. Last casino I remember I used to play which was new was dicebitco.in and they ran away with their dirty scam and since then I stopped betting on new ones.
1519  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you make a trade or investment decision? on: July 08, 2020, 09:40:24 PM
The time when I was trying to find a promising coin among a thousand pieces of shit is already over for me. I realized that there are BTC and a couple of dozen altcoins, among which you can choose where to invest your funds. Don't waste your time playing roulette.

Haha that is correct but the problem is that if you invest in the major coins like you said a dozen of coins you won't be able to expect high returns since the market is already liquid enough and the profits will always be minimal while if you are able to find the the diamond coin in the coal mine then it gives your crazy returns and yes you would make 10 poor picks but that 1 great find can settle all the loss and actually bring you into profit.

But the market is so dark and shitty now that I haven't seen any particular coin to go from nothing to a significant value and that is the reason maybe you are right and although the major coins don't give high profits but there are solid returns on few like the price of TRX moved up recently.
1520  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Thread For Btc Daily Traders, get 70/80% accurate calls. Edit: Forex pairs added on: July 08, 2020, 03:02:25 PM
How often you are providing trading calls? I guess for daily traders, you may need to provide at least one call per day, right?
(As I am not seeing any regular update on this topic at least from July onward?)

I am just a new trading aspirant and I am loving to have trading call so that I will be checking and later on I will be making use of them in real market. Are you providing any live call through skype or telegram as well? Because, if you're providing through any such quick communication platforms then it will be much better rather than just providing calls on this forum alone.

I guess there should be many people like me who are all looking for high accurate calls for trading purposes. So, we are must be ready to pay even some subscription fees for you when your calls are too good to make profits; so, it would be somehow helpful if you plan up selling signals along with telegram or discord channels. Good luck mate!
