1481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the project is fake? on: July 19, 2020, 02:18:04 PM
One thing I notice that most of the fact crypto project is not so active in social media. Also, you can check here in the forum for top rank member's opinions. You will find many projects that is a market and verified as a scam project by the top and reputable Bitcointalk members. Also always keep an eye on social media for a new updates about scam projects.
Nowadays, most projects are hiring specialized people for being active in social media. When they are having dedicated people for each and every activities of their project then the chances for finding fake project is becoming too difficult. I completely agree with you for going with top rank's view and opinion. When experienced people are helping us then the chances for finding legit project will be too high. Still, we need to remember that even experienced forum members are getting scammed by highly planned ICOs.

there are many ways to identify a project scam or not, it's just that we don't know when we found it.

That is the reality. Until you experience everything goes smooth, you will never find out whether a project is legit or scam. Only when we start finding problems we may start counting them into scam category and the efforts and money we have put into them until then we'll go in vain; no other go.
1482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a trading Bot? on: July 19, 2020, 10:22:21 AM
Using a bot makes the trading process easier for us, and periodic ones increase the loss of money. Because sometimes it's better to stop and analyze the market.
Because, bots cannot switch over to different algorithm or strategy based on market conditions and level of fluctuations. This is the reason is you are continuously making trades with the help of bots, then there will be more chances for big losses. Instead of stopping bot and taking time for analyzing market, why not you go for manual trading which must need a better way to trade profitable as per many people's opinion here.

a trading bot is good especially when you aren't watching or monitoring the market.

Yes, bots should be engaged only for the limited purposes like you have mentioned for monitoring and making reports on market volatility. Because, if we are doing the same then that will consume lots of time and in order to save time we may use bots just like most other trading tools to improve efficiency.

if you will use free trading bot, that sevice cant performs perfectly in trading. It is better to manual trading than use the free service of trading bot.

When paid trading bots itself not performing well across market conditions then how we should believe into a free bot against our hard earned capital. It is ridiculous to risk our capital with free bots Shocked.
1483  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's ok if your profits are less on: July 19, 2020, 09:31:08 AM
That is one of the psychology that successful traders have. they know what is enough and know how to cut losses. they are always awake to make important decisions and we need to study this guy. Newbie traders should not be greedy in the early days, we need to carefully analyze the market as well as adjust our profit plan to be more reasonable. We are still profitable anyway, no plan is 100% perfect, we need to tailor it to suit the market situation.
When you're having confident to make multiple small profits to sum up into big profits by the end of the day then you can go for booking small profits regardless of whatever capital amount you are trading with. Yes, I agree it is just a psychological factor and it will definitely helping you to become successful in crypto trading. I believe making small profits in this crypto markets too easier but I'm not sure why many people are not preferring it.

Being greedy must be one of the reason, why many traders are not preferring small profits. When you're comfortable with whatever positive results you're getting from your trading then that will definitely get you better position in your life just because of what you get as the over all profits from trading. Because, almost all the traders are looking for big profits and by the end of the day they are booking only losses due to market fluctuations. So, accepting small profits will help for sure.
1484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade by yourself on: July 19, 2020, 09:17:41 AM
only, by trading continuously will not make every prediction step that you do will become a reality. in fact, if you trade continuously without looking for important information or things, you will only wait for a long period of time.

Yes, there are a lot of benefits we can enjoy when trading by ourselves. In my understanding, if you're continuously making signals for your trading then you will become expert like a professional trader one day or other.

But you should not make use of your own signal from the beginning itself; because like you mention that will make you wait long period of time if you enter by wrong signal. When your experiences is low then when you're trading by yourself, you must trade only with very least capital. Trading with least capital should be assumed the like "trial run" to evaluate your signal generating capabilities.

it's a matter of whether the coins you choose are true or false. it's just that, by trading continuously, you will find your own way to choose coins that are on the market.

You mean choosing right coin or not? Yes, it will be the matter of time; by experience we can choose the right coin for our trading purposes because there are a lot of coins are available in the market and one simple click here could be choosing coins which are having good volume in every 24 hours will help to trade better.
1485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain technology in universities on: July 19, 2020, 08:01:40 AM
Just my friend surprised me that he is going to have blockchain based elective for his post graduate degree, and then I find this topic but it is talking about implementing blockchain technology for making things efficient in terms of against manipulation and any other data storing problems.

Yes, blockchain technology can improve education in lots of ways. As we start to implement this technology into schools we will continue to discover more ways that we can make use of it. First I will be pointing out what most people have mentioned which is helping as a way to transcript; most schools these days are using a manual process in identifying credentials and you know boring that can be, but with Blockchain everything will be made more easy. Next is that it can be used in storing student records, and that has already been proven when Sony and IBM partnered to create a platform that does just that.
1486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is my own opinion about Bitcoin block halving on: July 19, 2020, 07:07:14 AM
There is a lot of disagreement about what the price of Bitcoin will be in the future, how long this high rate will remain.
The way I think this is going to happen: as the supply is got short and the demand is getting bigger, the price of bitcoin will be increasing, I don’t think people will be able to buy up all the bitcoins there just as the way some people sees it. Buying and selling goes on every day and you will always be able to buy, but at a higher price, and that means the amount you get for a $1,000 in the past wouldn’t be the same that you will be getting in the future because the price would have increased by then.

Limited supply doesn't necessarily mean things are precise unless they have acceptance, demand.
Yes, limited supply but no real world usage then such things may attain zero value over the time. But, just think in reverse: limited supply and having at least one reason for more than 50% of world population to adopt. This is what exactly bitcoin is going to do and adoption rate will be boosted by higher prices and higher prices will be attained on every halving Cheesy.

Quote
We can speculate that demand will increase but the opposite is possible as well.
Everything is possible but when everyone just keep into bitcoin what they afford to lose on unexpected events, I guess that also more than enough for bitcoin to be testing billion dollar levels to be considered it as precious one.
1487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying food or groceries with Bitcoin on: July 18, 2020, 09:16:09 PM
Buying  foods and groceries with bitcoin is maybe a dream in my country, because at this point of time we need to convert first the bitcoin to fiat before we can buy everything, i think bitcoin will be used as a direct payment in the near future but for now we need to convert it first before we can used it as payment for foods.
That’s how it is in most places man, especially with countries that are still developing in some areas, because they are not ready for all these things. Just chill, it takes time and before you know it things will start coming in place. Even where I live, it’s the same. I hardly meet people that are interested in cryptocurrency, not to talk of being into it and investing, they just prefer to make use of cash. And when it comes to digital, most of them usually prefers PayPal, using their debit cards (MasterCard and Visa), or their mobile banking app. But I know for sure that with time they will get into it.
1488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A treatise on privacy on: July 18, 2020, 08:11:59 PM
Privacy is good thing, although Bitcoin don’t give us that, like they say, bitcoin is just pseudonymous. Yes, there are some of us that are good people, and what we need is just some privacy and not have anyone looking into our business, but unfortunately there are evil people who are looking for ways to use it for evil. This is why you will see some people here who don’t support the idea of being anonymous/having privacy. I am not really going to blame, we want privacy, yes that’s true, but we wouldn’t like for those who commit evil to go scout free. Unless there will be other ways to solve these problems which I don’t know.

Privacy has been recently targeted by many Anti-Bitcoin actors. Every bitcoier should then know how to recognise the threat and how to defend herself.

I value privacy just because of ensuring my freedom rather than assuming like I got something to hide so I need privacy. When people find the actual reason why they need privacy over a wrong assumption about seeking privacy, then I guess they will get clear idea about bitcoin adoption as well.
1489  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $500 Daily Race! 30% Rakeback! 🎲 DICE with the best autobet mode🥇 on: July 17, 2020, 09:47:35 PM
^What I mean when saying that "not everyone aims for profit, they aim for winning, there is a difference". I meant that it could be something free, you could say that "Liverpool will win I will wager zero on it but I bet they will win" you are not putting any money forward but you are still betting on it by logic and if he wins you are right and you feel happy.

Now in gambling, there is money involved so we can't remove money from winning or losing, but the feeling of winning sometimes goes beyond the profit you are making with that bet. You could have made 10 bucks profit from a bet but the idea that you were right and you won is bigger importance to some people than the 10 bucks, they only put in money just so that they would have fun otherwise for free who would bet with them, what would be the point.
1490  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: July 16, 2020, 09:29:12 PM
The game is provably fair to play. So anyone can play without any issue and the casino profits from 1% of house edge.
But when you are investing in the bankroll of bustabit, you are basically trusting the admin with your money. He knows every outcome and if he intended to, can place a bet to make a win out of investors money and not get caught. If you think you can't trust daniel, don't invest in bankroll.

Of course you are trusting Daniel with your funds...
You are trusting Daniel with your money, not only for placing bets he knows the income to, but he has your funds in control. If he really wanted to scam, just take funds and close up shop...

But Daniel is a good one, I have been part of the site investment for quite a while!
I guess when the investors are making so much money, it is really not a big deal if some people think bad of the website, its important what investors feel about investing, what others think about investing is really irrelevant. So, if you do not trust Daniel, if you do not trust the website itself, just do not invest?

It is really not like a forced thing, not every human has to put in 100 dollars into bustabit as soon as they turn 18 by law, it is a personal preference thing that you do if you want to, and if you do not want to just forget about it? I personally along with god knows how many countless investors do trust him, dude has been solid for a long long time since he got it from rhavar and ever since that moment investors have been making a ton of profit without stopping.
1491  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $500 Daily Race! 30% Rakeback! 🎲 DICE with the best autobet mode🥇 on: July 16, 2020, 08:48:02 PM
I do not think that everyone plays to win money. I mean sure "winning" in the sense that being right about something is a great feeling and putting money on it makes it even better. When you say "I wager 100 bucks that Liverpool wins this game" you are basically doing something economical but the main premise is the fact that you trust your instinct and your knowledge so much that you are willing to lose 100 bucks on it if you are wrong.

That is the thing about gambling, you can't put all the gamblers on the same boat, there are so many types that I feel like there could be a book about how many types there are. Which is why we can't just say every gambler wants to profit, sure they want to win but not all aim for profit, winning and profiting are different things if you know what I mean.
1492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: July 15, 2020, 08:58:20 PM
Well, when I first started out it was because I was curious, isn't that most of us? Some people came in because they wanted to make a lot of money thanks to bitcoin, but even they were curious about it at first and wanted to learn some stuff. I didn't came in at a day when it was something like "make money by buying bitcoin", I have been here since bitcoin was very low and I think it wasn't that important to make a profit back then, it was important that bitcoin was changing some stuff.

So all I can say is, I found it, and I read about it and I hated governments ruling over my finances since I know myself so that is why I joined, I just wanted a bit of sensation on how much I could improve my own life by taking over my own finances without anyone else having power over it.
1493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Card Launches in Europe on: July 15, 2020, 04:16:59 PM
So, do I get this right? You have binance card, you take it, you go to a shop, they do not accept bitcoin or bnb or any crypto currency, they are not interested in crypto, they are just a coffee shop that sells coffee and they have nothing to do with crypto, BUT you can still use that card and buy a coffee there using your bnb? The shop gets fiat currency like they always do, no crypto for them, but you spent crypto to buy it?

If that is the case that is awesome, that is exactly what we need in adoption, people will be able to spend everything on there and basically live a pure crypto life (except when they have to pay cash) I need to check more details about commissions and rates but if it is not too steep I think it would be perfect for me, I hope it comes to my country one day too.
1494  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Lesson: Stop loss Strategies on: July 14, 2020, 09:27:08 PM
It's really a useful strategy for the professional trader. But who has not much knowledge about it and can not set the order accurately should not use it. So always try to learn first and use the strategy later.

What is setting the order accurately? You mean placing limit-order? Yes, traders must know the differences between market order and limit-order. But, most exchanges are now having different UI to let their traders to place orders what they actually need to do and preventing accidental wrong type of orders. For example, for market orders, you cannot set price level but only for setting size, you are allowed to. This way anyone can easily work with stop-loss orders with limit type of order placement, I guess

I have also created a trade-in long ago about stop loss. you guys may take a look there if you have much time : [GUIDE] How to place stop-loss sell order.

Wow, that is really awesome that you people have contributed for traders of this community in more effective way as well. Thanks a lot for sharing this link, I find it is really a worth to go through so that I could make my trading knowledge better with respect to stoploss handling in my cryptocurrency trading.
1495  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus is very harmful to fiat currencies, not bitcoin on: July 14, 2020, 07:11:37 PM
It is absolutely true that the coronavirus has had no effect on Bitcoin, but the worse the situation for Fiat currency the worse it will be But in the wake of the virus the price of Bitcoin is rising at a massive rate The bull run has almost come to the market Bitcoin can help improve the economy.
It actually did as the price went as low as 4k a few months back and it recovered because others saw it as a golden opportunity to invest some into bitcoins while countries suffering critically with covid-19 had a immense panic and a lot of miners also stopped operating from a news I read online somewhere so yeah there was a panic and bitcoins were affected but not for long period.

According to me there is no reason why if the economy goes down we expect crypto currencies to be adopted because a poor economy means that you don't have enough money and those are times when people look towards fulfilling daily needs rather than making investment into crypto and bitcoins.

China always had a large share in holding of bitcoins so the crash that happened in March was because of China I believe as they were the ones firstly affected by the corona virus.
1496  Economy / Economics / Re: I tried money making apps! on: July 14, 2020, 05:26:33 PM
That's really a good idea and i believe that many people will use your apps. It is a powerful tool to promote bitcoin into other people. Although there are many money making apps already but the more choices the better. And there are many money making apps that doesn't really pay or it's hard to accumulate your income. Hope your apps will not so that everyone will love and enjoy to use it.
It is so funny and I am sure you did not even visit the link the provided because if you checked you would know that he is not promoting bitcoin based apps firstly and secondly he is the author basically and not the developer of those apps. So please at least visit the link(s) provided before you jump out to make a post out of context.

Anyways, I think cash back apps are pretty cool because you are always spending money and accumulating rake back allows you to shop a few products for free.

The apps aren't actually money making apps but they are cash back rewards. You are required to spend money so that you'll get a reward. I don't categorize it as a money making machine if it requires you to spend money but it's actually a good feature that you get something back whenever you spend. I appreciate the share of the link and paybis never stops making this type of article.
Actually yes they are commissions based apps which enable you to rakeback a little amount you spent so it is pretty good nonetheless but yeah can't be called as money making machine until and unless you are a money spending machine yourself Cheesy.
1497  Economy / Economics / Re: world war 3 is coming ...do to coronavirus / economy ... on: July 14, 2020, 04:51:17 PM
I dont think there will be any war coming in the next few years its too early to tell what I can see is every country offering help with each other to solve this pandemic all over the world, war cannot bring good effects in one country leaders must not start any of this to solve such crisis happening now.

Yeah that is true but when a few nations see that a particular nation is suffering from a pandemic then some cheap mentality enables them to attack the weaker opponent and kill it eventually. I myself do not see any wars happening anytime soon because actually corona virus is now a little bit under control with various vaccines being tested daily.

I personally feel like China could have saved the world had it taken proper measures and stop the spread from their country because if they had stopped trades across borders and any movement from outside the China was limited the world would have been a better place than it is right now.

I do not see any world war but China might want to initiate one looking at a few weaker nations being already affected by the virus.
1498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My eye opening advice about crypto projects on: July 14, 2020, 02:46:01 PM
I agree that since the beginning days of ICO, devs are always showing up something to create hype for their projects. Only the people who are all experienced by coming across various projects and its profits and losses may easily filter them out and most others are simply falling into those traps with their hard earned money and time. I must appreciate you for opening this topic as this will definitely guide many people to stay against artificially hype creating factors.

Max supply
 Advisors
Out of many of things you have mentioned, I still believe circulating and maximum supply are sill a deciding factor for value of an asset. Advisors from reputed backround are still good to go with but the ICOs I have checked are appointing random people as advisors and allocating big share coins/tokens for them which makes me to think like fake members to enjoy those shares.
1499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you trade if you won't leave your coins on exchange on: July 14, 2020, 01:53:50 PM
There are very less options alone left for me when I tried not to leave my capital within exchange. So,to easy solve this hassle, I decided to stick with only long running exchanges like bittrex which somehow helps me to eliminate all the fear about keeping funds within exchange. I also do trade in few other exchanges but I never keep funds for days across. I will immediately withdraw to my local wallet. In initial days I had lots of hesitation on paying fees and waiting for network confirmation but when I gather experiences, it became simply as my routine work.

For ethereum I still make use of myetherwallet which is just an online wallet hence I do not prefer moving ethereum hence and forth. But, basically if my cryptocurrencies are within binance or bittrex then I feel less anxiety whereas new exchanges and exchanges which are not providing support on this forum then I will immediate go for withdrawing once my trades completed.
1500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get moved by fake good news on: July 14, 2020, 12:50:48 PM
I agree with the OP, that it is a scam. They delete a few tweets or posts that fail in trading predictions and leave a successful one. But I am surprised there are still several cases of users who fall into the trap.
Almost all signal providers are doing the same because they need to attract new subscribers for their house. I guess we must do any big initiatives to spread common awareness against such scams so that people will not fall into these kinds of crap anymore. One safe practice must be we should not listen to any Internet strangers even we are following them or they are in the same group where we are also participating like telegram groups.

Definitely I will not take any investment or trading decisions based on the news I am getting from non-reliable resources. Because, a finance related decision should be done only after strong analysis which must be including both fundamental and technical. When we are having some certain procedure to be followed before every investment thing then we can avoid to be trapped by all kind of scam attempts.
