1401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your favourite coin and token ? on: August 08, 2020, 04:44:37 PM
what are the coins or tokens that you hold at the moment and explain why you choose that
hope this can help others in choosing what cryptocurrency is good for hold and has a bright future  ☺️ .
personally I invest in XLM and XRP , is both coin are good as a long-term investment ?
I am holding four altcoins and I’m also holding Bitcoin, but that one doesn’t need any explanation because everyone already knows that it is a normal thing that when people get to know about cryptocurrency they will usually start with Bitcoin, and we know how good it is, so no explanation.

Then coming altcoins I am holding Ethereum. This altcoin has been a really choice that I made, and it’s one of the best investments I make in cryptocurrency, and is usually profitable. Apart from this coin the next coin I am investing in is XRP. Although I have seen a lot of people talk down on this particular token, I think it’s just because we all will always have different opinions. Then others are Algorand and BAT.
1402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: August 07, 2020, 08:15:54 PM
I think I have dumped my coins once, and not really all that long ago but at one point I got bored as well. I really didn't see any upside at all, it wasn't recovering and I wouldn't really continue to fight for something like that myself if I do not believe it.

Normally when I get into a coin I just work on it like talk about it everywhere, tweet about it, discuss about it everywhere and so forth and do my best to make it go up and get it known by more people, however when there is nobody that I can convince and the price is going down, there is no way that I would continue to work for it, I mean why would I fight for something when there is absolutely no way that it would come back to me? If I work for it I want it to go up and make me profit for it, that is why I quite few months ago.
1403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to trade ether as an alternative to Bitcoin trading. on: August 07, 2020, 07:20:22 PM
Yeah, it is already at around 400 bucks right now and we are talking about pandemic and everything going bad and this is just the start of things for ethereum, we are talking about ethereum having like proof of stake situation as well and that will cause ethereum to go up even more.

So, we are talking about a situation where things will get even better for ethereum, I would say investing into ethereum is a lot more important than trading with ethereum, however if you trade with ethereum with the goal of having more ethereum that is a great idea and would definitely profit you in the long run. I believe ethereum is a lot better than USDT, it is not really all that well to keep all of your crypto with usdt, bitcoin is stand alone as well, so ethereum is a great addition.
1404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Best Course Of Action? on: August 07, 2020, 05:29:47 PM
I think what some of you don’t understand is that you can be a trader and also an investor, it’s possible Cool. You can HODL your coins and also be engaging in day trading, just divide your portfolio and try to do the work properly. But if you want to just be into HODL, you can still continue to hold your coins, I don’t think that the market is going down anytime soon.

There have even been lots of predictions that the market will likely be hitting another ATH price before it goes down. In the previous month the price of Bitcoin and Eth has been at $9,000 and $2,00 respectively, but it didn’t take long for the prices to move up to a higher price with Bitcoin getting close to $12,000 and Ethereum at almost $4,00. I mean, after your skill, there is one important factor which will be deciding your level of success and that must be luck factors or God's touch.
1405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What difficulty do you face on trading bitcoin? on: August 07, 2020, 04:57:39 PM
I'm a citizen of a country where bitcoin is illegal and there's no good way of trading bitcoin in legal way and secured way. I have been trading through the community I have built within these years but sometimes I got difficulty selling bitcoin, not much although. If you are from a country where BTC is legit, I think you are enjoying trading bitcoin. But what about the countries where BTC is illegal? Do you have any such way to trade bitcoin securely? I would love to hear the experiences, difficulty you faced/faces.
I guess I’m lucky because I have never had such difficulties with bitcoin or any cryptocurrency because they have been legal in my country right from time.
As for your country, I think those who are going to be having more problem are those who are still getting to know about Bitcoin before it was declared as an illegal asset there, because these people wouldn’t know how to go about it, whether it’s selling or buying.

But, I still think there is hope for such people because decentralized exchanges like LocalBitcoin.org and similar exchanges provides a way to trade and stay safe. The only thing you will have to find someone that is not going to take your coins and run.
1406  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Recommended Trading Bot. on: August 07, 2020, 09:26:20 AM
Hello I have read so many articles about trading bots, which trading bot do you recommend for a newbies and also for an advance users ?
As a newbie , I think if you don’t how to trade without bots you still wouldn’t know how to trade with bots, because you’re still going to set the bots up perfectly for them to be able to get you some profits. So, I will say that the best thing you have to do is to learn how to trade and after you have learnt that and also how you create your strategy to trade, you can then look into bots to make things easier. Mostly what these bots are going to be doing is to be handling repeated activities (activities you are doing repeatedly can be automated using these bots). They will just help to ease you of some stress.

since every Gunbot Owner can become a reseller, a new site will be updated soon with a resellers page for buyers to verify and choose any particular reseller.

Reseller program will be good but I wonder how actual owners will continuously make money; only with new version?

The price is the same for all, the choice of reseller is yours, some offer extra support or a different language.

Why not those re-sellers not provide cheaper prices? Why I need to go for a reseller rather than buying from the actual developers (I wonder how resellers are able to provide extra support than actual business people).
1407  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop-lose any recommend? on: August 06, 2020, 09:18:52 PM
I would say do not put stop loss into any sort of % because that would change a lot, but if you could put that into sell order that would be even wiser. For example if there is a support level, put it just 1 dollar under that and you would be probably smarter. Let's say there is a support level that is very strong at 10.4k right?

Well, if you put it on 10.399 that would mean it would be going down even lower, because it broke down under the support level so it should be going down, yet at the end of the day you could sell at that level and when it reaches to other support level or even lower you will be capable of buying there.

So, would that be a good method of using stop loss? I would think so, however there are of course some people who use % system as well and it does work for them.
1408  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you make `Trading` profitable? on: August 06, 2020, 08:19:56 PM
Only a trader who has a crystal ball can set such a task to sell at the highs and buy at the low. Everyone else should be content with what the market currently gives them. If you have completed the task set for you, then you should get satisfaction from the transaction, regardless of where the price goes next.

Okay, you’re able to predict when the price goes on and then it does and you made profit? So why were you not able to predict that the price will go further up? Or you were hurry to cash out and forgot the possibility that the price might still go up after the first increase? Well, you should still be happy that you have made some profit from the increase.. maybe next time you will learn to target your investment on a long term basis and be able to achieve better profit from it.

To make profitable with trading with simple choose buy and selling on good moment, many trader always late for buying some coin after break out to higher price and looks late when buying, but always early for selling their assets before price most expensive.

He’s able to make proper price predictions, but he sold too early and missed out. It’s usually best to go long term when buying Bitcoin, although I do understand that some people cannot hold for that long, and there is always a reason, so it’s up to them to decide what’s best for them, and make sure that it works.
1409  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing In Crypto Genuine Better Than Trading Forex on: August 06, 2020, 05:37:44 PM
Since January this year, I have been trading forex as a second passive income earning. After making some money in crypto I venture into trading forex, but I got my finger burnt. I wasted a lot of money without making a single profit. I regretted this venture. I have come into conclusion that investing in the genuine crypto project is far better than trading forex.  The risk in trading forex is higher than investing in a genuine crypto project.
You are doing two things that are similar to each other and you’re getting your mind messed up. Instead of doing the both of them, it is best that you focus on just one of them. Because, jack of all trades, cannot succeed in either one. When you are dedicated at one thing then the chances for becoming successful is more.

If it’s cryptocurrency that you choose, then just go for it and study it properly. If you try to follow up with the both markets you wouldn’t be able to do that. And from what I have understood, you’re investing in cryptocurrency and not really trading it. Maybe you can look for other good jobs you can be doing while you are investing in cryptocurrency.

Many people have already switched into crypto trading from forex trading after finding crypto markets are more profitable for them. I mean crypto got many short cut to crack easy profits unlike forex market's cruelty of wild fluctuation. One of known and familiar short cut in crypto markets is "long term holding" Smiley.
1410  Economy / Economics / Re: Virgin Atlantic Goes Bankrupt, Bailouts? on: August 06, 2020, 03:20:11 PM
At the end of the day if they didn't have insurance against it, why do they get a bail out? That is what I always wondered, when wall street bankrupted 12 years ago, they were protected and bailed out because if they failed there would be too many people who have invested into those companies that would fail as well and become poor, but I do not get why the government had to pay them yet still not own them.

If I took out a loan from a bank and fail to pay for it, they will end up seizing my house or if it is a business seize my business, so why can't the government do the same for the banks? Just give them money but also take a bit of their stock as well, that way you can pay the tax payers back by lowering taxes thanks to new income from wall street. Same here, if Airlines can't continue and beg money, give them money in exchange of stocks, that would be smarter.
1411  Economy / Economics / Re: i was right about the economy ! on: August 05, 2020, 06:16:44 PM
Okay the last sentence the OP made was very funny, to be sincere I was laughing really hard Grin. I am not really sure about people dumping cryptocurrency, unless you were referring to altcoins, because a lot of people right now will start to dump altcoins to buy Bitcoin as the price keeps on increasing.

Altcoins are the ones that are going to suffer it now as their price will start to depreciate. Then as for stocks, some of them are starting to recover. The reason some of them are still down is because some sectors of the economy has not yet resumed, and people are still scared of the coronavirus and its impacts on day to day life. But, we can’t continue this way. Everything will get restored once vaccine will be available for public use. Hopefully the September month will be complete different from what we had seen since March month of this year.
1412  Economy / Economics / Re: What should you learn so you never get affected by a economic crises ? on: August 05, 2020, 03:26:15 PM
Humanity could always become "obsolete" in the business end of things but isn't that the purpose in the end? Wouldn't it be awesome if we all have another world, like Mars for example that we conquer and move to as humanity and have the earth back to what it used to be as a great place and have robots working to build us planes, rockets, food, furniture and basically every single thing we need?

Just have a whole world that sole existence is automatically build stuff for the humanity, wouldn't that be just amazing? We could all get stuff for free and nobody would ever have to work, there would be no rich, there would be no poor, everyone would be living life without a single worry. That Is what robots and improved technology promises, unless it is used by evil people for evil purposes.
1413  Economy / Economics / Re: In the pandemic economy, tech companies are raking it in on: August 04, 2020, 06:28:02 PM
I don’t think this should be a surprise to anyone. When the pandemic started a lot of people on quarantine had to face social media to keep themselves happy, lots of people went on Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and lots of them and we’re consuming contents. And apart from that, I think there were some Businesses who saw that as an opportunity to start advertising their products, so these tech Businesses were sure going to make lots of money at this time. As for Amazon, a lot of shifted to making their orders online to avoid going out of their house. So, this is not a surprise to me at all.
1414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: August 04, 2020, 05:14:09 PM
If you visit some crypto forum you will see so many upcoming cryptocurrency projects coming into the industry but sometimes I begin to wonder what is their purpose of bringing in New crypto project knowing well that some of them have wrong motion of the project they are bringing, I have participated in so many of them last year but I have not hear from them again some are abandoned on the proccess with a lot of promises they come with just to gain your interest. What do you think?
Lots of projects these days are not reliable and we have to be very careful when we are choosing new projects because you just never know mehn.

Scammers have caused people not to be trusting new projects any longer. They are the reason a lot of people here now hates ICOs and people are now generalizing every ICO in the market as a scam because of these scammers.

Cryptocurrency is a good thing, but scammers just infiltrated it and are using it for the wrong purpose and making the world see cryptocurrency as a bad thing.

I am happy that after everything some of them still get caught.
1415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PlusToken Ponzi Goes To Jail on: August 04, 2020, 04:37:33 PM
It’s good to know that they have been brought to face judgement. Imagine that every scammer should be caught the same way as they have done with these people, they will all think twice about it twice before engaging in such things as scamming people. Would be better for them if they look for a better means to make money than scamming others.

It is not yet known whether the most important persons of this Scam have been arrested, but the fact that the scammers are systematically sent to prison makes me happy.
Even if the main person that orchestrated the plan hasn’t been caught yet, the people that has been caught will help in giving information that will lead to knowing where their leader is. And with those information the law enforcement will be able to trace them wherever they are. And I hope to see that happen, if this is right.
1416  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin touch $15K till end of 2020? on: August 04, 2020, 03:04:53 PM
Looking at the price right now, $15k is not impossible but also quite a lot of ground to cover as well, we do not really know what will happen, we just know that people are looking at $15k a lot more possible nowadays than what they were looking a month ago, so that is a good start and we should take that and move up with that to higher levels, I just don't know if we have enough buyers right now in the market to make that happen.

By looking at the price again, it used to reach as much as $12k and now lowered at $11k right now, which is why I am not entirely sure if the price would reach $15k if this continues, there is of course a big chance it could happen but it all depends on if it will continue to go down like it has in the past 2-3 days or it will go up like it did a week ago.
1417  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Keeping it's limitaion Between 9--10K on: August 04, 2020, 12:22:45 PM
$11.2k is a great place to be right now, it is not the highest point we have reached in this bull run, it is not the lowest and where we have started neither.

People who wanted to buy and increase the price has done that already and people who have sold to take out their profits have already done that as well, so we do not know which direction will we go but we know that the big players already made their moves and we ended up at $11.2k when manipulators and whales of both sides are done.

From now on we can make any move we want as the people and the general population of bitcoin world could take it up and increase a lot or could take it down, we don't know that. Honestly, I would expect a bit more lowering as well if people can't get any big help from the whales and long future buyers.
1418  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good idea for a new trader to get into derivative trading? on: August 03, 2020, 06:13:31 PM
A newbie trading would have hard time buying bitcoin using fiat and then keep trading bitcoin and usdt between each other for profit, unless you are an expert trader in something else and joined bitcoin world from trading that to now trading crypto, you are not going to know much about trading and will lose money, it took me years before I can totally understand what is going on in the bitcoin trading world.

That means if the newbie starts out with derivatives for the first thing they are doing, they are not just going to lose their money which could happen in any method anyway, but they are going to lose it very quickly, and I mean VERY quickly, what could take a few months of losing until you are out in regular method, could be under half an hour with derivative markets.
1419  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can i start forex with no risk of money? on: August 03, 2020, 05:34:28 PM
Think about this statement for a few seconds: "Trading without zero risk". Doesn't it sound completely BS and unrealistic? It's a statement mostly used by scammers. If zero-risk trading was possible then you'd possibly be the richest person on earth, even surpassing mega-billionaires like Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates.
I guess what you meant is “Trading without risk” or “trading with zero risk” and not “trading without zero risk” because that doesn’t sound BS but what you said does. Scammers sites or exchanges usually promote their project using that one liner so I agree it does sound like something a scammer would say.

I agree to the rest you have to say. Zero-risk trading is impossible. If you want to earn profit/interest, you need to put something of value at stake. Money doesn’t come easy; you need to take risk and work for it.

we are talking about something that would make your life a lot better if you earn from investment which should require at least something and usually that is risk.

I guess that we have been discussed a lot about risk factor in trading and investments here in trading discussion board itself. But, people like OP never take time to go through them but directly go for new topics to ask the same things. What you have said is absolutely true but people will never understand the basics of trading and the risks involved in that but they just need only pure profits with everything under guaranteed way.
1420  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk:Reward > Pip count !!! on: August 03, 2020, 03:28:50 PM
Risk to reward ratio strategy:
Buy some Bitcoin for $1000 with a profit target of $1200 and set a stop-loss at $900, the risk-reward ratio is 1:2 (or 2R in trading parlance, $200 divided by $100) because you're risking $100 to make $200.
That’s something that google already says. Would have been better for the newbies if you could explain it in your own word but never mind let me do it for you. Basically, risk reward ratio which is also referred to as RR ration is the prospective reward that an investor can receive for every dollar, he/she risks on the investment. It is basically the risk that someone would have to take to earn a certain amount of profit.

This helps the trader to plan the strategy and play safe while having higher possibility of earning profit and avoiding loss. The rest can be understood from the example you provided.

Risk and reward ratio is something we must track all the times. When losses in trading is inevitable, we must focus on cutting the lose earlier as per TA and must get out of the emotions as well and must focus on next trade to make our capital into its original state so that future trades will be focusing on better rewards.
