2121  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: June 13, 2016, 05:49:22 AM
i would definitely not do that ever because i dont have a possible job with bitcoins

though if there would be more jobs for bitcoin that would be well paid i guess i would do that
yeah maybe you have not had too much experience and it makes your job in bitcoin becomes unclear. many methods to get bitcoin. sometimes blindly confused. my advice is to choose one method that is the most you like and you can pursue that job

Full time job with bitcoin I think is limited, and those people who are really with bitcoin since the beginning are working full time on it.
Or if you are an owner of exchanging site , gambling site, faucet site or a miner.
Then that can be consider a full time job with bitcoin.
If you don't own such businesses like you have mentioned you can still make money with bitcoins, if you are good trader you can consistently earn a good amount on a daily basis while if you have a good capital you can also invest with bitcoins and even altcoins with good potential in the future.
2122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling day! on: June 12, 2016, 12:37:55 PM
When you have your day then no one can not stop you from winning.OP was really very lucky by winning on this betting slip.I had my lucky day when in sports betting few weeks ago I won on under dog at @9.80 odds a bet which made me good profit. It is all about your day and we all have our days.
In my case I am waiting to hit my a good payout of parlay. I made it everyday with very low bets hoping that I can hit a parlay which is I considered a jackpot. Maybe someday when I am lucky enough and hit the jackpot I would consider quitting gambling.
2123  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: June 12, 2016, 12:29:15 PM
Just wondering when everyone buys bitcoin, weekly, monthly or just on the falls?  thinking of setting up something regular to ride out the waves.....  Grin

usually  i just keep my money in fiat, and when price of bitcoins is good enough for me to buy, i buy as much as i can at that moment, because later price usually rises

but sometimes if i really need to pay for something in bitcoins, i buy them at any price usually because  i spend them right away, it's like to pay with fiat for something
You are most likely a spender than a keeper, some people have already bought when the price still low and right now the price is really high that some are afraid of buying it because they think it might fall after the halving. For me it is a short term opportunity to invest and get your profit immediately after the halving.
2124  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: June 12, 2016, 12:23:06 PM
To become rich is not a destiny it is a choice. One can be rich only if he is so because of becoming one, the best way to do that is to work hard and learn from your work and later on start your own business to maximize your earnings. Also, investment can be a good way as you do have hard to manage and you just let your money work for you.
2125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your gambling stats? (Profit/Loss) on: June 12, 2016, 12:14:13 PM
I am a gambler, but i don't have any idea what is the actually amount which i have lost in gambling, but i think it is near about 3 to 5 BTC.
In my gambling period, sometime i was thinking to left it forever, but on the next day whenever i was playing by chance i am winning. I have win from gambling near about 2 BTC. So i can say it easily, Gambling never give me a biggest loss.

That's great to hear, at least you are in the neutral side. Some of the gamblers here have a big loss in gambling and yet they continue to play, I presume that they can afford what they loss because of their actions. Gambling is only appreciated when we play it for fun as that is really dangerous to focus that might take all our hard earned money.
2126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to collect BTC ?? on: June 12, 2016, 12:07:03 PM
for a newbie like me, I just collect bitcoin from the faucet and sometimes hunting giveaway it was better for me Smiley

You are doing the best things a newbie should do.
A newbie should not just jump into big things that are complicated for him, like trading, signature campaigns or other ways that need knowledge and experience, because a newbie is a newbie he doesn't have much knowledge about bitcoin and its elements so he should firstly do faucets and keep learning in that time to know more and be able to do more in coming time.
In collecting bitcoins being a newbies does not really matter, I am a newbie myself in the bitcoin world but I was able to adopt and understand what is going on and happening within the community. I am a gambler as well who always use bitcoins in my regular hobby but I learn the way to collect bitcoins just recently and now I am enjoying it.
2127  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: June 12, 2016, 11:55:39 AM
I was do not like the investment, because it takes a long time. but I have taken the opportunity to halving, because it was not too long. and I'd have to trade, rather than invest.
Trust me, investing is really good if you start as early as possible because you can just forget about it and maybe check on its progress once a year. It's like a stored money, but with risks of either going up or going down but in a scale of a very, very long time and the rewards are really, really good as well.

That is certainly true. Also, you can benefit on ICOs which usually turn out to be profitable. As it is said, the early bird catches the worm. It may be risky, but most the times it is worth the shot. You can also look for ways of making passive income with your Bitcoins by investing in cloud mining like Hashnest or Genesis Mining. Those passive earnings could be stored directly into a paper wallet as an emergency funding in case something unexpected happens. Just my opinion  Cheesy
We have a lot of investment program here in the forum, all the information are fully published so it will always depends on the investor on his preference but with careful study you can spot the good ones with good potential in the future. Investing in online casino has always been a good practice since they are so profitable.
2128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: June 12, 2016, 11:49:43 AM
Gambling is disastrous for majority of people. There are very little number of people who made some money and fixed their life by gambling.I am neutral and have not been effected by gambling but many people around me have wrecked their lives.I am playing small bets sometimes win sometimes loose this is going.

Actually, that little number of people who winning on gambling is also quiet though. I mean, they are not share their experience on it. So we only can see many people comment wreck his life.
Exactly, because they don't want to expose their secrets in making money, maybe if they will share we are still not gonna follow it because some of the professionals who are winning in gambling are very discipline person so if we don't have that then the method is useless.
2129  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: June 12, 2016, 11:31:06 AM
OP, it was around $240 in Oct 2015. If you bought and kept bitcoins, congrats. Smiley
I wonder if he really bought 1, even if he bought that would still not effect him that much because that was only 1 BTC, maybe let us congratulate him when the price turns $10,000.
2130  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: June 12, 2016, 06:31:41 AM
Are you inspired by those bitcoin millionaires? Are you thinking of filing a resignation letter on your day job (if you have any) and focus on bitcoin instead?

Me? I do have a day job and I consider bitcoin as my side job. I don't want to lose that another source of income just because bitcoin is awesome.

I really wished that I had learned about bitcoin earlier and was one of those smart people who got into the market when it was darn cheap to mine bitcoin, sold it when there was a bubble at $1100, and cashed in their fiat again when it was $200...

But no, I have no funds to invest with... So no. I'll stick with my day job.
We are all wishing for that but anyway let us move on, lucky are those early adopters of bitcoins as they are already rich now. Actually if your job is a high paying job you should keep it but if you are just earning a little amount then you should focus your time with bitcoins to maximize your earnings. This is the only chance where we can work with freedom and do not go with the traffic going to office. We can work anytime.
2131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: June 12, 2016, 06:18:13 AM
If i were rich, im still would like to gambling, but just with small amount (maybe 0.05 btc). And i do that just for fun, so im ready if i lose that amount in gambling.
That was too small for a rich man. How could you enjoy and have fun with such amount. Remember you were rich, so you can afford to lose even 1btc.
That's true, as rich you have the freedom to enjoy your money and you can bet regardless of the amount as long as you can afford to lose it. In gambling the amount we bet also matters to get the thrill and excitement.
2132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: June 12, 2016, 06:01:12 AM
theres good days and bad days in gambling. sure its possible to have a huge win but i think youre correct, over the longrun you will lose your ass if you continue to gamble Sad
But in long run, the bad days of gambling may be counted more than good days. That is the reason your fortunes in many good days might end up losing in single bad day.
In long run if we are able to maximise the good days either with or skill or luck then we do not need to worry about losses in long run. But in that maximizing process no one is successful so far up to their satisfaction.

Well if you don't want to lose in the long run, better quit gambling and choose the right path for your career.
Building up your career will not even lose you in the long run, but it will make you a better person.
What a nice advise, gambling is made for us to use it to be entertain and to be entertain we need to lose some kind of money. The thing is if we cannot afford what we are losing in gambling then that would give us a miserable life as we will find another amount so we can gamble again. Gambling requires a lot of discipline to understand the risk it brings and the games we are playing, really hard to appreciate gambling if you want to earn rather that enjoy it.
We all lose in the long run because we are just a typical gamblers who does not really treat it as our main job, with that we like to try different gambling sites and games as we want to be entertain all the time while gambling so we could not master a game with that and would result to losing our best. I think that is just fine as long as we enjoy it that much.
2133  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: June 12, 2016, 05:54:56 AM
After few years bitcoin price maybe $5000 or already replaced by other currency.
even if the price of bitcoin is 5000$ still not enough to replace the other currencies we all know,
if we accept bitcoin as a currency, bitcoin must have a fixed price.
The price will always be not the reason to replace other currency  but the value of the a certain currency, the value where we can benefit from using it and can beat the features of other currencies, with bitcoins we can transact fast and safe, the charges is really minimal and that is one of the essentials of bitcoin that is worth patronizing for.
2134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016 NBA Finals on: June 12, 2016, 05:48:02 AM
That was just an excuses man, it is clear that the warriors outplayed the cavaliers at all ends of the floor in game 4. Cavaliers management are just frustrated that they invested so much for their player yet they cannot even bring a good game in the finals.
2135  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend! on: June 12, 2016, 05:42:44 AM
Hey folks,

I've finally got around $20k to invest in long-term. No, unfortunately I cannot put this on a bank to get like 10-15% per year, I'd need something way more good.
What would you recommend? Mining? Other crypto?

Investors, please get me some cool ideas.

Thanks in advance,
Marcell

if you can't get cheap electricity, you shouldn't start mining bitcoins as you won't get any profit actually, but if you have cheap electricity, then of course that you can try to invest here

and i would offer you invest to trading, because investing in gambling sites are very risky, while starting to trade is almost no risky at all, it will take some time though till you know everything about bitcoin

You need to have very cheap electricity to get profit in mining. The maximum you can have is the $0.1/kWh.
Me, I have free electricity in our country but I don't know how to mine. I think I need a decent capital to start mining and I would rather not focus on that as that is so complicated for a non IT guy like me, investing and trading is my game so I would definitely focus and rely on that to make money.
2136  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to collect BTC ?? on: June 12, 2016, 05:38:51 AM
easiest way to collect bitcoins at the moment is to either buy it or to participate in signature campaigns
I think signature campaign is a better way if you do not have a money to buy yet, this time is not the wise time to buy as the price is really high. By working at signature campaign you can earn it with risk free.
2137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: June 12, 2016, 05:25:52 AM
Well if am really rich? I will build my own casino so i can fullfill my wants and hobbies aswell as i can even more getting richer and totally gambling will be my main business since i am a gambler and totally rich gambler will do the same to and others will gamble bigger amount since they have rich and they can afford to lose big money on it.
That's a better idea, at least as owner of casino you will always win. Many gamblers regardless of their financial status are still willing to risk their money so you will just earn consistently.
like my dreams, If I'm rich, it is better to have a casino or gambling sites. because it's better than just being the gambler.
as you know, that homeowners always profit.

Yes the owner must always profit, but they also use strategies otherwise the owner will lose even experience into bankruptcy
so far the site owner dice in this forum using the max win or max bet so they can control the user wins and the balance of players who win and lose if no maxbet I'm sure all the sites of the dice to lose

we must set the max bet to remain a safe and also we certainly have a lot of capital and has thought of it before, in case someone could win a lot of bets.

That is what you called self discipline in gambling, with that you are safe to gamble as you know your limits and it will not lead your to bankruptcy. For the rich people that is more important to them because they have a lot of money to lose.
2138  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: June 12, 2016, 05:20:47 AM
I have no doubt that the paper money always will exist, because there are several  population groups that don't have access to  more advanced alternatives to carry out their financial or commercial exchanges. But of course, this number will gradually decrease and perhaps in a distant future the paper money will disappear.

Well paper money will just exist , if all the countries will going to have an agreement for having a cashless society and they are going to use bitcoin for it. Before doing that they will need to create a law for establishing fiat paper money will don't have a value anymore.
That is hard to achieve man because not all countries have the same standings in the world, that simply mean that other countries have their citizens less educated so they cannot adopt using computer for online transaction. They will still use paper money and it needs long years to complete transition if the government will enforce.
2139  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: June 12, 2016, 05:11:47 AM
I'm not really good at managing my money, because when i received my bitcoin from signature campaign, i always lose it all on gambling. Maybe i will start managing my money carefully from now.

I think you should have to start trading as trading have the same earning and the same entertainment which you find at gambling, and one thing is that at trading there is no way to lose your money.
I don' think you understand trading that much, in trading we can also lose our money as it is also risky but not as risky like gambling. Gambling depends on luck alone while trading requires skill to be profitable.
Definitely, trading is like gambling where you risk your money to earn money so it is still the same and trading is not safe. The only thing that differentiate the two is trading is back by the real market while gambling is back by the luck of the people.
