Not severe? lol. Gambling addiction would give you a miserable life when the time comes that you dont have a single penny to spent. You even sold your house to someone just to have money to play as also others said that it might be a cause that your family would leave you. That thing is not severe to you? Why you are comparing to other addictions? Put in mind that everything is abused might lead to things that you wouldnt expect to happen.
Everyone knows that gambling is a bad habit and every suggest not to do it in any cost if you are planning to earn money through it. And addiction is something that never let us stop doing something, even if we know that can lead us to destruction, it is the same case in gambling as well, one obviously knows that gambling can lead him to destruction but he still gambles just because he is addicted to it. I think gambling is just a game that has an effect like the other games, but many people say that gambling is a game that is better, because it makes a person becomes excited. Well, I guess gambling can not be regarded as sickness, but I guess gambling has an effect that makes people addicted, like drugs if you do gambling excessively mean you gamble overplay causing something around you turn bad , i think gambling are really can considered as a sickness , like if gamble can make someone frustated and crazy. but gamble should not considered as a sickness as long as you are fine , nothing changed around you. Excessive gambling is already a sickness because in the first place, gambling should not be played that way. Gambling is just for fun so it means you only play it during your spare time or occasionally, it is more fun if you will not focus on how much you can win as you will enjoy more the game without much worries about your bets. |

and nowadays because of all social media, tmz, etc. we (general public) also know if something bad happens off the court.
The media makes alot of hype for certain player and that makes them overrated although that they have only a decent performance. This is one way of getting popularity and get yourself a great contract otherwise you wont really get it just by playing great on the court everytime ( wait , you can be good on the court ALL the time though ) You are especially social media in which people or then fans of that certain player show some of its highlights it allows the palywr to become more popular and gain fans which i think leads the management to see and know it. The tendency then is that dince they saw how good the player is because of the highlights the will get it Player highlights alone can't get you too far if that is the only thing you can show for. The management isn't that stupid too rely on just video clips and signing a player because he is hyped by social media. That assumption is rather flawed since we all know that the best players are those who work the hardest and make their game speak for it. Well i haven't said that players highlight alone can get you too far, i have only said that it would be a great boost for them as they become more popular and when management means business having a lots of fans will surely be considered. We cant deny the fact that everything also comes to business, no matter how good you are but when you were left behind of the competition you surely eithier get a slot NBA is an entertainment so they would value more on the entertainment than the real competition, some games are intentionally rigged in order for the fans to witness a close games and that would make them feel the thrill and will get the worth of their money, that is NBA and player with so much publicity will be more popular and will help the NBA to stay profitable. |

Me? I do have a day job and I consider bitcoin as my side job. I don't want to lose that another source of income just because bitcoin is awesome.
If me, I answer no because bitcoin is only a part time, you cannot go full time with this kind of service, its much better if you have a decent work in real world not just like here in the internet. That's for you maybe you are just having a low paying job here in the forum, I presume you are referring to a job like signature campaign, of course you cannot quit your job just to do some siggy campaign as that would not be enough in terms of income to use in your daily expenses. |

Definitely Invest in bonds,stocks or bitcoin. But don't forget to save some money for bad days. If you have like $100 remaining from your paycheck invest half of it and put the rest on a safe bank account.
$100 could not be enough to cater your daily expenses to survive so how could you still save and invest with that amount? I think you should think of doing another job to aid your low income before you thing of savings and investment in the future. A half of $100 would be $50 and i dont think that is a reasonable amount to start trading with or investing anywhere, because in trading or investing it depends on your capital if how much you will earn on a daily basis, the less your capital is the less profits you will get. your right in some other point but for the fact 50$ is bit high enough to start tradings and that is good amount to deal with those altcoin whos been moving a lot on those exchanger's and the bad thing really there is if you decided your 50$ on unknown investment things because you can lose money with that scheme but in tradings? Any amouny would be pleasurable and can earn according to your strat and patience. Having a limited amount of money for investment and trading will make you more cautious on your investment as you will take care even the last centavo of your money, if you can grow you small amount of money then you have a change to manage a large amount of money also. |

Duncan is your perfect example - there were never stories about Duncan off the court, he was probably the most boring person for the media to talk to, BUT he performed on the court and is the greatest PF ever! Conley - never been an All Star - averaged of 15.3 points, 6.1 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game (is that WORTH THE BIGGEST CONTRACT EVER?!) - and he will never be able to carry the team in the playoffs. EVER! - meaning - Conley cannot beat you alone, simply cannot - i.e. Curry can, Lillard can Conley were able to carry his team in the playoffs especially when the squad are healthy. No one knows what will happen to bitcoin for this year but most of us here want the price to go up more,but I don't know how it will happen we just wait and see what is going to happen soon I'll hold my coin now . The price will definitely go up further in the near future. Most of the bitcoin investors won't sell their bitcoins at a price of 650-700$. It is just more attractive to hold them. I believe the price will be trading between $640 to 680 in the next few weeks, then it will rise to $720. Nah dude, the price of bitcoin $624,00 right now and can decrease again. I think the price of bitcoin will not rise to $720 for the next 1-2 months. Yeah, I see that the price is decreaseing, you know what? You should buy now, see that as an opportunity to earn in short term investment as I am too confident that the price will back up in few days. |

i saw a lot of person who won gambling and they may think that they are mature enough because they defeated the bank roll of the casino . But in the end they will end up spending it recklessly then they maybe consider as a one day millionaire. Yeah. Just look at the large number of lottery winners who ended up broke 5 years later. Money doesn't solve all your problems. You need to solve them yourself. I think gambling mostly is for rich people  That's not true, gambling is not just for rich, actually a poorer person have a intense betting, they are thinking that it will be their passport to making easy money.. A rich who gambles are having bad luck with their business and if they have a badluck in their business, for sure, the next thing to happen they'll also have a bad affair with their family.. i like this word, and i know few person, that is my friend, they do gambling for over a years ago, especially on poker on fb games. although for first time they only use the free chips, but from time to time, they learn about how to win poker, and i see with my eyes, how they win easily on that table. first they only win a small amount of chips, but later, they've got expert, they win huge poker chips, and you know what? my friends selling their chips to get real money, and now my friend have a business offline in three places and he is retired from gambling at all. he said, my life is from gambling, and now i have money to start my offline live. gambling is my past, and i have a future in my life. Just recently got into BTC; I have 2.5 saved up. Plan on taking 25% of each of my paychecks and accumulating and seeing what will happen in 2017 or later in the year. Thoughts? Ideas? Speculation? Tips?  i just started to love bitcoins so i have only 0.1 BTC at this moment, but i plan to rise that in near future for sure, i wait for price to fall down a bit so i could buy some bitcoins If you are waiting for the price of bitcoin to fall down then you are wasting your time, as the price of bitcoin will now increase more higher as I heard from this forum, the price is already at a good stage, anyone who ant to buy should have to buy it now and they will see a bigger profit in the coming months. I do see it happening the price will go down again, maybe even upto 550 dollars, which is why I am holding at the moment. If the price go down I make sure to by more again. It could always happen bro but with a little chances now, we are due for another increase because the halving has took place already and anytime from now we can see an abrupt price increase. |

I think it includes investing in bitcoin. with very little risk. but there are certainly problems at a time advantage. maybe you will not know when you will profit. because it depends on the price increase That is the simplest form of investment so far, you don't need to exert much effort with that kind of method. I agree. whatever investment you do will have risk. you can't invest with no risk 100%. growing bitcoin is not that easy. and I think signature campaign also has risk, for instance : when you post off-topic you don't realize, sometimes you will be banned and some signature campaigns will kick out member who are banned; etc. But less risky my friend, signature campaign is just a way to help us learn in the forum and read some relevant information, if we have something to share then we can do that and the best thing is we are paid when doing it. |

depends on price in 20 year for start maybe 1 btc goes to price of 1 million or just 1 cent. but let say i will go retire when i collect 50000 btc, it's enough for me.  50000 bitcoins  its really a huge amount ! so you want to be a millionaire while retire ? 50000 btc will be more then 32 million $ as of the price of now but after 30 year price it will be a ton, good luck for that bro ! Lol I thought it was a target that does not make sense come on use rational plan and it is possible to do or you can do. may still make sense if you have a target of at least 1000 BTC. it was very likely done by approximating 50 BTC annually. but I'm sure you had to work hard to get it If you have a lot of money you can easily buy a lot of bitcoins but if you are just working for bitcoin I am even skeptical if we can have at least 50 BTC in a year, that is hard to to by working alone. In my case, my target is just 1 BTC per month and so far I have made it but I need to risk through trading. |
