Today I bought some chips with 2 quarters, quickly getting out of the store to catch the bus. Why exactly not? With SegWit, Lightning Network and possible even more awesome upgrades to bitcoin protocol, transaction will be almost instantaneous. And in that situation, you described if you would have bitcoin wallet in your smartphone installed you could scan QR code any cashier can generate and pay in matter of seconds. We already have technology for that - all we need is will of people to know about this and change current system - which can be much harder. People will only be interested to listen bitcoin when they have assurance which is very hard for bitcoin to provide. The assurance like the banks offer that when you loss your money due to banks failure you will be refunded by insurance. But let us see in the future as I am pretty sure more innovation will be made to have the confidence of the people to adopt. According to statistics, more than half the population of the globe is the elderly and children. What do you think, what money they will enjoy if they offer a choice between Bitcoin and paper money? I think the answer is obvious. well you are kinda right about it in my opinion, i think that in the future the bitcoin might actually replace it to be honest and that would be great Paper money will still dominate in the future, it is the simple currency that does not need an internet connection to transact and we know in the internet you are not safe if you are not careful so people who does not really know how to secure there information would certainly chose paper money. |

You can earn more than yo can imagine but the way to that is very hard. Many have tried to earn big money in gambling but most of them failed to succeed. It is easy if you think but when you do it, you will realize your chances is not good to achieve it.
you are right, bitcoin gambling might be really profitable if you are lucky enough to win a lot of money with it, though such luck usually not happen That would only mean that gambling is only for lucky people who wants to win, the big question is can we keep our luck to be with us all the time because what I know gamblers does not have a satisfaction of his winnings and he tend to gamble regularly to earn more money. That is long years but i think you need 200 bitcoin to do that and wait the bitcoin price up. Maybe in that years you have a lot of bitcoin and you can buy what you want for your retirement. All is nothing can say because we are not sure if bitcoin up or dump. If bitcoin up your are very lucky but if bitcoin dump better luck next time.
if you know that we can not predict the price of bitcoin in the future. is it very high or low prices. therefore you should keep more bitcoin than usual. may be more than 200 BTC. The question is is it you can reach it? 200 bitcoins would definitely not help if the price was at least the same size as it is now, for retirement you would need like a thousand Thousands of bitcoin you dont need that amount to become rich is too high amount i think even 50 to 100 amount of btc is good amount of bitcoin to be rich and retire after 20 years.. even the price is the same as present price.. The figures varies on individuals needs, we do not have the same interest and satisfaction so for us we could be rich for owning at least 100 BTC but for the others it was just an immaterial amount that they are willing to spend for entertainment alone. |

Sorry man but its impossible for Griffin to get the 2017 MVP. Yes, he is good, we are there but still its not enough to get ahead on James, Curry, Durant, Kawhi. Griffin will become MVP if they will succeed this season, the problem with the clippers is they are good in the regular season and you can really tell the way they ca dominate their opponents and even beating good teams but in the playoffs their aggressiveness fades and they do know pay with sense of urgency. I'll go for Paul George for the 2017 NBA MVP. With the improvement in their line up they can contend in the finals. Blake Griffin is just a showtime player for me. Even in the mythical five will be hard for Griffin. While it's true that PG did get better, I don't think he'll ever go play on a superstar level again. Mental and emotional trauma scars you way longer than the physical. That's true, what I saw how Paul George played, he was not consistent last season, one day he scores like 30 to 40 points but on the next day he can even barely reach 20 points in a certain game. It takes time to heal the wound, and it was a serious injury that PG had suffered so mentally and emotionally it was affected and you cannot take that forever. |

Its a lazy way to earn a profit it is better to start a business online blogging or something worth site that you can advertise and earn for your visitors.. Its a large amount you can multiple business or even triple business for advertisement.. and promote your site in other forum or do seo to increase your organic traffic.. Holding Bitcoin isn't lazy, but it is probably the safest form of investing compared to trading or sticking your money into certain sites for lame rewards. Definitely, you are right dude, how can it be a lazy thing when it is the best way to make more money. My best investment strategy is same as many others have prolly already mentioned. I simply buy and hodl bitcoin, nothing else. It's been working for me since 2011. The great thing is I don't have to even think or worry about anything. Just buy the dips, hodl.
yeahb I think the key is that you can be patient after you buy bitcoin. because the key advantages of investing in bitcoin is to be patient. First you have to buy at prices that have the potential to rise. This depends on your skills and knowledge. then after that you can wait until the price rises. lucky if it lasts quickly Short term and long term investment needs patient, you need to have that in your mind because even though you have a lot of resources to invest but you do not have the attitude that will lead you to success, you will still lose in the long run. Investing is profitable but not for everyone. |

Just my 2 satoshi  I have saw a lot of suggestion at there, from which OP can get much benefit, some people really need suggestions for starting some investment, so for them the better is that they ask from some expert, and this a forum is full of some expert business persons so he will be directed to a better place. With that amount of money involve, you need to carefully evaluate the recommendation you will read in this forum because that is your money in the first place and you bear the losses in case you will not succeed in your investment. Yes we used actively bitcoin to pay our electricity bill because it only can be used directly on the bitcoin our country . But if we want to buy can cash out of the bank, remittances , and much more . And this is what we use to buy we want using cash from bitcoin. So butcoin is really good to us because bitcoin can instant cash in a instant.
I guess we are in the same country because i also use my bitcoin to pay my monthly bills and loading my mobile phone. its a good thing local wallet has this feature and its for our convenience. We are spending it for some online stuffs the fact is spending bitcoin is limited at a moment as there are not many place where we can widely used and that is a major problem. Yeah this is a sad fact of bitcoin that we cannot use bitcoin it self in our real life.. but nowadays thanks to bitcoin debit/credit cards this problem is pretty much solved out. you just need to get a credit card. fill up that with your bitcoin. go to super market and buy everything with bitcoin.. cheers. In recent years cryptocurrency market has changed dramatically, but that does not mean that everyone can not only but also want to deal with bitcoin. Perhaps the possibility or even the prospects are good, but the reality is still different. The reality is we are still in the early stage and for me it is the best opportunity to invest than spend since there are only few merchants that are accepting bitcoins as payment but in the future for sure we can see some substantial growth on the numbers of merchant so invest now and take your profit in the future. |

I never cared much of those easy systems but seems it would work for him.

He idolize you that's why he/she wants him self to become you someday thats why he asking you to help me where to start and ofcourse you need him to give some break to understand things much better if you are going to teach the basic one. Where you are going to explain what is the bitcoin and where the bitcoin comming from Well, how old your kid anyway? if he is under 18 years old I would not recommend you to teach him about bitcoins. I have my rule for my kids that they should only focus on their studies until they reach at that age because I know kids has no good decision making yet. |

Due to its inflation and high risk, I don't personnally recommend. In case you really insisted, you should have a 1% exposure, at most. Not more.
The high risk is if the project fails which i highly doubt. Look at the new capital spent in bitcoin start ups. Even the altcoins. Crypto is the future and bitcoin has the best papers to make it work. Al alt's are just there for show and make the developers rich. Not really, there are altcoins that has a great potential in the future and some developers are really good with the plan, the only problem is the marketing or the product or services because the image of altcoins is not really good compared to a more reputable bitcoin. |

If I were rich I would certainly do something more lucrative as an investment. Because it would supplement my income properly. Although I gamble it is just to have fun and my entertainment.
That should be the way to gamble when you are rich, we focus on the fun and not on the money. Anyway, there is no sense in gambling when you are focusing on money when you are already rich, as long as there is a discipline rich people will enjoy gambling more. I agree, if you are already rich then you won't matter losing anymore when gambling. You will just do it for your own pleasure without thinking how much you will lose. It doesn't matter to you if you win or not. To gamble in a smart way is the only to become expert in there, as f you will have good knowledge about any game and will have a good experience in there then you will be able to play it with good manner and will be able to win every game. Even expert loses, expert are just good in managing their money in gambling but most of them are not successful. Only chosen people will become successful in gambling so we need to accept that reality that the smartest way to play in gambling is just to minimize your loses and enjoy. |
