2161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest-able Altcoins? on: April 26, 2016, 02:42:05 PM
I'm very surprised with FTC i thought this coin is long forgotten! This mean you can't lose money with alts,
if you dont sell under price. Just wait and someday it will be pumped.

yeah i sometimes miss these pumps too. and in case of fethercoin it was so interesting because i opened my bittrex account and in my wallet page i saw a it is the second one sorted by btc value then i realized i was holding some feather without knowing and the price has gone so high, so i immediately sold them and enjoyed the profit Cheesy
2162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End Of Ether on: April 26, 2016, 02:37:01 PM
I learned in the last Alts bubble not to try to catch the falling knife.
Sometimes in the real world it makes sense, like when oil costs $28 or Silver $13, but there is no floor to the price of ETH, it could be worthless soon.

I think I still have a few million Mooncoins and a few million Animecoins in some old wallets from the last bubble.  Maybe I can trade them all in for 1 DOGE now!

very well said my friend. i like how you put it.

things like altcoins are not like big commodities like oil, gold or silver. altcoins have a much smaller market and with much smaller investors and the worst part which everybody often forgets is that sometimes in these altcoin markets like ethereum there are a few people holding a huge part of the coin so they control the price and when they decide they want to get out (like eth now) there is nothing others can do and that coin will go down.
2163  Economy / Speculation / Re: End of the 2016 - BTC Price Prediction on: April 26, 2016, 02:32:18 PM
it is hard to predict bitcoin price especially when you want to predict it for a specific time. but i am expecting a big rise soon because of the halving which has already started. so somewhere around $1000 can be the top and there might be some decline because a lot of users will sell because they have that price in their mind for profit but after that the price can continue rising. this can take more than end of 2016.
2164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange volume distribution. BTC belongs to China on: April 26, 2016, 02:29:16 PM
it is a far way to go from a high trade volume on exchanger to claiming China owning bitcoin.

Chinese people have always been very interested in crypto currencies and have always invested big money in this market. maybe it is their economy or maybe it is the high number of population there but they have always been so active in this market.
2165  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ultimate Hodlers only thread - do you have a dollar price in mind? on: April 24, 2016, 11:40:33 AM
we are all waiting for the history to repeat itself and price reaches $1100 again, so that is the target price of many bitcoin users.
and as a trader i would be lying if i said i wouldn't sell at that price too.

but also as a true believer in bitcoin and someone who is hodling i have to say i am waiting for prices a lot more than $1000 and believe that bitcoin has the potential to go to prices at least 5 times more that the last ATH.
2166  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will hit $3k-$4k by end of 2017 on: April 24, 2016, 11:33:36 AM
this time if the price continues this way of slow rising and keeps the volume up i would expect the price to hit $1000 by the end of 2016 and the amount of publicity and news this huge rise brings to bitcoin can easily push the price up to $2000-$3000 in a year after that which makes it to the end of 2017.
2167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bottom will drop out of the alt market soon on: April 24, 2016, 11:28:16 AM
I think you are right. The alts have nothing to contribute. Most or just garbage or at least 99%. Better to dump them.

well, this is not entirely true.
i am not defending any altcoins here and i agree that most of them are just garbage and the only benefit of them is to be pumped and dumps and in the meantime some people are taking the profit.

but also there are a lot of good things going on in the development part of the altcoins, you can still find some good projects with dedicated developers working hard.
2168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Idea for new dice game ? on: April 24, 2016, 11:20:44 AM
I will love to see multiplayer games.

this is a very good suggestion.
but it only benefits the players not the owner of the dice site.
if i am not mistaken primedice use to have a p2p game where you could invite another person to bet against you but they stopped it and removed the option from the site. i think it was because of no house edge there and no profit for the site.

since team Secret disappointed me recently with their games (always opposite of my expectation happened Cheesy) so i am giving it a rest and probably will stop betting for a while.
2170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: April 24, 2016, 10:53:45 AM
I caught myself losing every time when i completely relax and i'm sure i have winning situation. You are winner only when you finish game with surplus and stop playing. In long run i had more success than losses so far.

sometimes it is best to give things a rest for a while and walk away, coming back after a while and starting fresh gives you a better luck, at least it has always been like this for me so far.
I love to gamble but i limit my time and money. And if i succeed to win no matter how lucky am i stop playing. This is crucial, because if i continue to play luck will be changed this is certain. I have tried this so many times, i know you can't win against house..You can achieve small victory.

since i was losing a lot a while back i started to do the same thing as you are describing here but with a difference.
i start with a fixed amount that i can afford to lose then gamble with it. then if i win i use the profit only to gamble more and if i win more i use the a part of the total profit to gamble and don't touch the main initial investment at all.
2171  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: April 24, 2016, 10:49:36 AM
I checked my network its working fine.I tried different browsers and still not working keeps loading.Sad part it i have some bitcoins stuck there.Last night site was working well so i deposit some bitcoins and fall in sleep.

Today when i tried to play ..site not working keep loading.Cleared cookies and everything still not working.Hope I can at least withdraw my bitcoin.

they said something about changing servers and being out of order for a while, i don't know if it is over or not. if it is still going on that might be the problem.

but if your problem persists try flushing your DNS cash, that might help in some cases and if you are using google chrome browser make sure to clear chrome dns cash also (google how to for both and it is easy steps).

edit: it doesn't say how long it will last
As Zoltan stated above, we will be experiencing some down time as we move servers. No information or user data will be lost & it should be seemless.

Obviously with this sort of stuff (And migrating a database of over 10 billion bets), I can't ensure we'll have 0 ongoing issues, so if there is any downtime over the course of the next couple of days, rest assured we'll be fixing it straight away. No need to panic, as per always.

Feel free to send support an email if you have any further questions.

Cheers guys
2172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LOL Yobit on: April 24, 2016, 10:46:02 AM
I don't know, what to believe.
i have never had any problems with them, but after LISK they are very shady.
I hope they will do more about their support communications. So people won't loose trust.

while their support staff and the communications is a big problem with this exchanger it is not the only one. an exchanger where we are trusting and putting our money in their hands should always be available to answer their customers.

the other biggest problem is the shady operation they started with LISK, to the extend where LISK developer was forced to make an announcement that "this is not the real thing and you are risking by trading it."
and by the time it is released and the withdrawal opens they will run out of LISK to pay people.
2173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your current crypto portfolio? on: April 24, 2016, 10:39:59 AM
my crypto portfolio is mostly bitcoin since it is going up in price and not going to stop there .

but also i have invested in Litecoin too because litecoin always moves with bitcoin and since bitcoin is rising, LTC is going to rise too.

i had invested some in ETH which i sold at the top and then bought back and sold again for another profit, and now i am shifting all that investment into LISK as soon as it is released.
2174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH ... band of idiots -or- band of fools? on: April 24, 2016, 10:33:57 AM
the real value of Ethereum in my opinion is what it was before the big pump which is less than $1, so after the pump ends completely over the following weeks or month i would expect it to settle around that price again, maybe a little higher this time. and after another accumulation there will be another mini pump.
2175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 Altcoins to collect on: April 24, 2016, 10:28:26 AM
There are so many Alt coins out there, how do you know what to collect?

any value in the below?

Blackcoin
Clams
Dash
Dogecoin
Feathercoin
Monacoin
Namecoin
Neoscoin
Novacoin
Nubits
Peercoin
Reddcoin
Rubycoin
Shadow coin
Vertcoin

thanks

first you should explain to us about what you mean by saying collect? are you planning on mining and holding or is it some sort of faucet, free coins that you want to collect!

as for holding the coins i only suggest holding bitcoin as main crypto and after that litecoin since it is moving up with bitcoin.
all the rest i would only hold temporary
2176  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: April 24, 2016, 10:23:12 AM
1 word:  HODL

Smiley

Or perhaps would drop 5 to shapeshift, to get 278 ETH today (at their steal low prices today)
And hold hold hold, ... at least until 2024 halving.
It's so easy and trivial task....

ethereum is no longer a good investment, the price of it has been only going down and i expect it to continue this way down until it reaches the before ETH pump price then after a period of stable price at <$1 then rise up a little again.
2177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I use Bitcoin ??? on: April 24, 2016, 10:19:14 AM
i am mostly invested in bitcoin, and that is because of the nature of the bitcoin market, it has been so cheap lately and now it is only rising, and with the upcoming halving the price will soon rise so high.
2178  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want to start trading on: April 23, 2016, 05:27:21 PM
Okay so I don't really have any idea which coin is which and which of those are good to trade and which are not.
Since I am currently enrolled in yobit campaign, I figured maybe I can do something profitable with the coins that I get from the campaign so I thought maybe I can start trading.
Do you guys recommend yobit in trading altcoins?
Also what coins do you guys suggest I trade? I want profits and not loses so any tips you guys can give me are really appreciated.

Its not simple and easy to know which coins are good for trade are which are not, you never can tell for sure what coin is going to raise or fall, and deffinitly you cannot become good trader over night. You need to do lots of reasearch of coins you like to trade, charts, minings...buy low sell high and dont listen to people in chats telling you what to buy or what to sell.

cheers

i agree, that is the downside of trading.
it can be very profitable and a good way of investing bitcoin but at the same time it is extremely time consuming.
you always have to stay uptodate with the market and watch it. especially if you are not using bots you will have to check your orders multiple times a day.
2179  Economy / Gambling / Re: Exposing some techniques ROLLINdice site uses to scam on: April 23, 2016, 05:22:48 PM
1) as far as i know if the site has provably fair section (which they all have) you can verify all your bets with the provably system by checking them, so unless you have checked them and have something to show for it, all you said above becomes meaningless.

2) again this can be verified by their provably fair system, and lagging rolls may mean that they have a shitty hosting service not proving cheaters.
2180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling is Exploding on: April 23, 2016, 05:17:39 PM
You could multiply bet as low as 1000 sat (.004$) to .5 bitcoin (200$) instantly*, that's what drives people crazy.

* depends greatly on your luck.
Well it is luck based so in this case where the odds are not in your favor you are likely to lose.

But saying that it is exploding while nothing really big has happened is naive. There is a growth sure... but an explosion? Come on really.

technically it is possible to get a lot of money even with claiming faucet, especially in some of those dice sites that allow some huge multipliers if you set to the biggest amount and get lucky you can earn a lot without even investing.
