1161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Downloading Blockchain on External Hard Disk is Recommended! on: December 31, 2016, 01:11:49 PM
just be careful to only store the blockchain on your external hard disk and not your wallet file because and external hard disk is susceptible to hardware failure more than your internal hard drive which is stationary and also it can be lost or stolen.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me (again) that ETH is not manipulated by the whales on: December 30, 2016, 11:43:18 AM

Well thats a pretty bad buy order when you compare that price to where ETH is at today.

why bad? i'd say it is pretty good since that buy order with many others like it are the reason for this recent price rise.

and who do you think is dumping now? that is right those whales with those buy orders who bought cheap coins is now dumping on those who join in the rise after the pump.
1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My 2017 predictions on: December 30, 2016, 11:36:36 AM
my prediction eth 2017 = 0.011

that is not much of a prediction bro.
we all know ethereum is a pumping coin and it has been low long enough for the traders to accumulate and the whales to rest and make profit elsewhere. and this means they will pump it to the previous half of the ATH at least.

the prediction would be "when"?
1164  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: GET 0.002 BTC FOR FREE! on: December 30, 2016, 11:26:19 AM
i have tried this site, and tried claiming the free coin from that bonus section, and i only was able to win it once and lost it on the flop Cheesy
and then the rest of the times i claimed the bonus i see this user called "trollgirl" winning most of the bonuses!!! so i gave up.

also the design of the site needs more work. it is too boring.
1165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what application do you use for usage bitcoin ? on: December 30, 2016, 11:20:33 AM
i mean for iPhone and macbook ? what web site is better to use ?

by "use" do you mean as bitcoin wallet?
if so there are two options, either web wallets which you can easily open in your phone browser or special wallets for phones, you can find them on here https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet
i believe breadwallet is good for IOS
1166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks accepting bitcoin on: December 30, 2016, 11:17:07 AM
This is a good news to those who use bitcoin , buy coffee in Starbucks but not all people knows bitcoin so not everyone can use this feature
Yes I think it's a good news, hopefully they also show the bitcoin logo of the on outlets or receipt when we receive proof of payment, all of them also show step details the procedures for acceptance of the bitcoin.

any news that is about bitcoin usage for purchasing stuff with bitcoin instead of cash is a good news. but i don't think it is that big since from what i have read that application OP mentioned is implementing bitcoin, we don't have starbucks around here so i can not go and check it in person Cheesy
1167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling trading or giveaway? on: December 27, 2016, 02:41:22 PM
gun to my head if i had to choose one of these options i go with giveaway because it is a simple and fast way of getting something for free and who doesn't like a free thing? but as long as the giveaway is with no strings attached!

but i already use all 3 options. i also trade for a way of making some money for myself and also i do gambling in my free time as a way to entertain myself and earn some lucky money.
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Trading for Novices on: December 27, 2016, 02:33:25 PM
Note: I have a limited knowledge of Bitcoin and even more limited knowledge of various altcoins

I would like to begin trading altcoin to make small amounts of money, I have read many articles on this site, and understand that I will not make 1000 dollars a day. If you could leave any knowledge at all on trading, recommended sites, good altcoins, etc. it would be greatly appreciated. Please use laymans terms. If you require any further specification about my question, I implore you to ask. Many thanks in advance.

you can not earn $1000 a day but it is possible to reach a level of experience and knowledge in trading to earn $1000 a day someday after a couple of months or even a year of working hard to learn.

this is not an easy job that you get in, buy and become rich over night and repeat it the next day and become richer.

you actually have to spend a lot of time studying charts, news and see what is good to buy and when you should sell it for the max profit.
1169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a good modified martingale strategy? on: December 27, 2016, 02:25:39 PM
i have been trying this strategy that i use a bigger multiplier and bet smaller amounts to test my luck and try and see if i can win a bigger prize. and in this method i plan to use different high level multipliers i have started using 100x for this week and i already have many bets. it is a good strategy if you can get lucky.
1170  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long until India "bans" bitcoin and it's effects? on: December 27, 2016, 02:20:49 PM
as others mentioned Indian market is irrelevant when you compare it with the rest of the world.

but also right now Indian government has so much on their plate which need fixing with their economy and their currency that they won't even have any time to think about such a tiny thing as bitcoin. people are investing in so many other things such as USD and gold that bitcoin is like a peanut!
1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 900$ limit... time for alts! on: December 26, 2016, 02:09:16 PM
nah, it is not yet time for alts. bitcoin is still very hot, although this heat is turning into another stable price but we are not there yet. and that will still make altcoin prices stall or go down.

i am mostly looking forward to 2017 and coins like LTC, ETH, and possibly even ETC, XMR and also i have one eye on BLK.
someone said LSK will also be pumped but i am not sure about it, we will see though.
1172  Economy / Speculation / Re: Once we hit $1000, how far will BTC drop? on: December 26, 2016, 02:04:37 PM
With $1000 in the not too distant future and the ensuing sell off (I'm sure many consider this a psychological target to sell 20-50% of their bitcoins for profit, if only to re-invest after the drop).

The question is: after $1000, just how far do you think BTC will drop back? Could we see the days of $500 from August again, or are we stable above $800-900?

don't even dream about days of cheap bitcoin prices of $500 don't even expect to see $700 ever again. those days are long gone and you have to accept the new much higher price which will never go down.

and you see what is happening right now with $900? price goes above it and goes back down. the same thing will happen with $1000
if there is enough support to go to $1000 then there will be enough to keep it up and then you see $1200 over night after that short period.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use Cashback or bonuses? on: December 26, 2016, 01:59:52 PM
to be honest i prefer free giveaway rather than any of these options. giveaways like small happy hour faucet or bigger up to 0.01BTC free giveaway celebrating anniversary,...

but from what you said i have only used deposit bonus and i like it very much.

get cashback from your losses.

does this mean if i make a bet (or multiple bets?) and lose the casino gives my money back to withdraw or gamble again?
can you explain about this more? and is it a one time thing or can it be used multiple times like once per week?
1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: looking for a partner to open a btc gambling website on: December 26, 2016, 01:52:57 PM
my budget is not "locked" to this amount.
there are a lot of options with it though:
1. swissbets can setup a full working casino for 15kUSD and 15% of your profit goes to them monthly.
2. some other companies with similar deals.

what should be an average income for a good looking casino website?

it is very difficult to say because none of us have a casino and those who have are not going to share their income in public. so it would all be speculations.

and it depends on so many different factors like how old that casino is, what type of game it is offering. for example everybody would play dice no matter what but smaller number will play poker and so few will play binary.

one thing you can do is to look at those casinos that offer investment. you can see for example how much an investor is earning and then you have to search hard and find out how they are sharing the profit, then do some calculations to come up with an estimate.
1175  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is on fire! Made the front page of reddit!! on: December 26, 2016, 01:47:43 PM
every time bitcoin price goes up or even down everyone starts to go crazy about everything. this time the price rise isn't even as big as 2013 and everyone is talking about some big price jump out of nowhere.

i hope we stop doing this and start talking about bitcoin more when price is stable too. we should have at least one topic in the front page of reddit every day not just price related.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2017 altcoin challenge on: December 25, 2016, 12:41:10 PM
What you're trying to suggest is unclear. We make a post here.
Suppose I have 50$ = 0.05BTC
I invest 0.01BTC in MoneroCoin, 0.02 in DogeCoin, 0.01 in Egaas, 0.01 in any others
I would post all my trades made here.
Suppose the price rose of let's say DogeCoin and LiteCoin and the rest have fallen. I make a post stating my profit and/or loss every week
Wouldn't this be a tedious task?

A quick summary of what you invested in, how much profit/ loss you had shouldn't take more than a few minutes.
Maybe once a week is too often. At the end of every month could be easily doable.

the issue is not with how much time it is going to take us to post it here. any good trader is keeping some kind of log, and even if they are lazy most exchanges keep your logs for you and give you the ability to export it as a .csv file.

the issue is what would we gain from posting our private financial affairs here?!
1177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: December 25, 2016, 12:34:55 PM
I want to know what you guys think about this, I have stopped gambling but still trade so does this mean I am still gambling?? I don't trade on basis of luck I trade using my skills would it still be considered gambling??

Please tell me what do you think.

as long as you are using your brain and your skills in trading and think before making each trade to make the best decision, and also the most important thing for last: as long as you are making profit in trading then no you are not gambling and you can continue on trading and improve your skills to make more money.
1178  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the current rally really that crazy? on: December 25, 2016, 12:29:14 PM
Now we are down again to $860+. Its a good rally tho. They are dumping their holdings right now so i hope the the price still at $800 barrier. I think $1000 is not possible before this year ends. Hope 2017 is good for bitcoin.

it is the correction phase, and it is perfectly normal in rises such as this last one that prices go down and market calms down for a little while and specially since it is the Christmas days things are more calm.

and who knows there is still a chance to see $1000 to a little chance to see it this soon but it still is there.
1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BITSLER VS PRIMEDICE ? Which more fair ? Which you win more ? on: December 25, 2016, 12:15:19 PM
Simple Question BITSLER VS PRIMEDICE ?

Which more fair ? Which you win more ? Which more fast ?

Can you share your thoughts?

I will not choose 1 here because both sites are good, they both have a good giveaway contest, both sites have many users, both sites have many events. And lastly the best word to describe these two sites is THEY BOTH LOVE THEIR USERS.
Agree, its really hard to choose among the two gambling sites because they are both good and theres lot of user who play on them which means they are trustable and reputable enough and it really depends on the gambler on which site he would prefer to play.It does depend on players taste and the site that suits him.
How if you two guy's need to pick atleast one which one will you guys choose? I know both gambling site has lots of users who played alot on that website i don't care if both site are reputable we only choose one here where you guys plays the most?

i will choose crypto-games then bitsler then primedice and the only reason for my choice is the size of their faucet which is 500 - 300 - 200 respectively and also if i remember it correctly crypto-games and bitsler grow their faucet size based on your lever more easily than pd.
1180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: December 25, 2016, 12:07:26 PM
i have been spending some bitcoin from my stash for buying some stuff online and paying for a couple of services such as paying for my vpn subscription.
so i am a little bit short of 1 bitcoin right now but i will make it there once again.
