2161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BitcoinCash Was $3293 in December 2017 and now its $512. What could be the reaso on: September 26, 2021, 11:17:57 PM
December 2017 was a spike in crypto world. After that it went down. Some coins recovered but BTCH kept on going down. What's the reason?
Investors don't have such a huge interest in this particular project and also the whales. This project looks deteriorating and soon to die, not unless if someone would give life on this. Might be from $512 to $10 in the future or at its worse.

It has come to the realization that people will only choose the true Bitcoin, that these things. They are hot in previous days as people get fooled with such Bitcoin Fork as it seems to profit but as their journey continues, that was clear to see that they give up.
2162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand the market in advance on: September 26, 2021, 10:34:20 PM
Crypto market totally uncertain.  It is very difficult to guess about the crypto market in advance. And if it could be guessed in advance, everyone would be involved in cryptocurrency and everyone would become a millionaire. If you keep a close eye on the market, do a deep analysis of the market data, then maybe you can guess something.
And I hope they could understand it but somehow, they wanted to change it to become predictable because of being greedy. I understand that they need assurance however, the market couldn't provide such a thing but instead, the risk is always we have to face. We have to accept this kind of market feature, we can't do anything but to adjust and adapt how it works, not the crypto will change for us.

So, if this can be hard to accept, it is really hard to get through with this, and the feeling of being doubtful remains.
2163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 26, 2021, 08:57:04 PM
What a ballgame.

I thought that Northport would win the game after Bollick a long 3 point shot, da*mn, Cabagnot was there to save the SMB, and take note, it's the first game of Cabagnot after suffering from an injury, that guy was clutch, he is born in that kind of situation.

Last game it was Marcio that hit the game winner, now it's Cabagnot.

That's the strength of the SMB, they can make a decision right away because of their experience and it's a big mistake by the Northport of not putting pressure on Cabagnot who is a clutch player and was hot all night. Now, they are eliminated and SMB advances to the semi-finals.

Not over yet bro, it's a series best of 3 NP still have a chance if they can win the next game and force this series with a do or die game.

We have seen their capabilities to almost snatched this game away from SMB, they made a good rally and keep their presence not giving up,

it's just so happened that SMB veterans are really superior experienced wise., that clutched shot by Cabagnot is no longer new to him..  Roll Eyes

Yes, it's a best of 3 series as we can see on their website.

Both SMB and Magnolia (SMB corp teams) already earn an advantage of 1-0 in the best of 3 series on their respective opponents.

SMB has a thrilling win and I like the Northport to bounce back in game 2, probably we will see Romeo back and that's good for the SMB as that will make them  100% complete.
2164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zimbabwe minister urges citizens to embrace Bitcoin on: September 24, 2021, 01:54:41 PM
And guess what? This will just be for words as this is impossible to happen in real life.
I say this because it was really hard to make it to this place. Zimbabwe is one of the poorest countries in the world and a lot of issues need for them to address more prior to urging people to embrace Bitcoin.

With that state of life and the people who are living there, I can't imagine how they could understand this nor they will think of this as an opportunity. I simply draw a conclusion and I say that it was not the time for this stuff. They should have to improve their status first prior to this adoption.
2165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 24, 2021, 12:41:38 PM
I have a feeling that they will be abused by Manuel and Perkins down low, and not only him, there's also Chua.

I feel the same, so I would bet on the Phoenix fuel masters to win no matter what the odds are. And since Ginebra is a hype team, maybe we will see very good odds for the Fuel Masters in this game, I even like them to be an underdog and I'll consider it as a good opportunity to make easy money. (hopefully)

Same here, with Japeth Aguilar and Scotie Thompson out, the Gin Kings will be having a hard time controlling the rebound and in this kind of situation, the team who controls the board usually wins.

Still, bookies have put the Kings as favorite huh, time to exploit these odds guys haha.

My bet for tomorrow Phoenix ML @2.36 boosted.

Good luck.

The line is already out, I can't believe that Ginebra is still the underdog.

I tried the "price boost" feature but I'm only getting 2.19, I think bettors are already putting their money on the Phoenix to win as they see the struggle of Ginebra in the past few games.
2166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: September 24, 2021, 12:04:15 PM
Exactly, it's already part of the rules and boxers know this for sure, they know who they would like to fight and whose boxers that would be their mandatory challenger. This isn't a big test for Casimero, he won against Zolane Tete who is a clear favorite in the fight and he strip the belt, Butler is not that good based on his previous fights.

I agree with you mate that this is not a big test for Casimero as Butler is not that good and if we recall his previous challenge for the IBF belt, he did not make the weight on the weigh-in thus they are given an hour to shed that extra weight but to the disappointment of everybody, he did not come back for the re-weighing  Smiley. This guy has no discipline and I think this would be easy work for Quadro Alas.

If Casimero will have a good win in this fight, people will forget that he did not KO Rigo based on what he predicted. It's his time to rise again, a good win (KO) will make him more popular, and the more the fans will long to see an Inoue vs Casimero fight.

Definitely another KO because as we can see, if Casimero's opponent will fight him like they think they can beat him, it always ends up in a KO. Even Zolane Tete which obviously has all the advantages over Casimero, but made one mistake, and that resulted in a KO win by Casimero.

This fight will not last long, a careless Butler and wants to be the aggressor will pay the price early.

Betting odds should be x5 for Butler and 1.10 for Casimero.
2167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: September 24, 2021, 11:11:11 AM

Pacquiao proved that age was not a factor when he defeated Broner and Thurman last 2019, at the age of 40. So Donaire can still do it as he is only 38 years old this year. So it is all about experience, training that will majorly influence their fight inside the ring. If Donaire will emerge as winner, who knows, he may face Inoue again.

Donaire is still good at 38 years, there's no trace of his age when he fought Nordine Oubaali he is very fast and very accurate if he can still show that deadly form in this kind of fight, Graballo is in big trouble they have the same style like Nordine Oubaali, I still consider Donaire a heavy favorite if he can still show that deadly form he showed in his last fight.

He will be the heavy favorite for sure, he is the current champion and I think he will continue to hold that belt and will get a big fight before he will officially retire. There's nothing to prove anymore as he has become already as one of the best fighters in the Philippines, but just like Manny Pacman, he continues to make easy money while he can still fight.
2168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we see 5k Eth price by end of the month on: September 23, 2021, 11:04:03 PM
what do you think by the sudden move of the Ethereum price not even determining the gas price so high

all day high $3,836.87 and the low $3,540

Do we see 5k Eth price by end of the week or month?
Sitting on $3,139.43 price at the moment per coin which is 2k far on the said price you had been talking into which i dont see that it could shoot up that high in a matter of month but somehow
with the burning mechanics because of that London fork then we can at least presume that it could really make out some significant price effects as the supply would become lesser
and if the demand and recognition would rise up on smart contracts or would stay up then there would be no doubt about those price increases.
Even the demand will start shooting up but still hard to reach that price. I think we have to accept that ETH is no longer in bigger demand as the BSC platform getting into the competition. As we can see now that the market showing some declines, well, recoveries will come next but I don't think this could push the price of ETH to fill more than $2k just to reach the target price.

Conclusion: It seemed impossible but can't be hopeless anyway. As long as the market exists, that comes to possible, maybe next year or next Bullrun. Can't be specific.
2169  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Continuously Loosing money in Trading!!!! on: September 23, 2021, 10:06:54 PM
You meany OP that continuously losing?

If that is the case, I suggest you not take trade anymore as the result will still be the same and sooner, you may lose everything you have which I'd worried about. You have to stop thinking that trading is for you but rather accept the reality that it was not. Coz I believe that 2-3 years in trading was long enough to assess ourselves if we are capable of doing this or if we meant to become a trader as this thing wasn't for everyone. Honestly, it was a sad reality that trading isn't for you then.
2170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: September 23, 2021, 12:33:21 PM

Promoters will not take a risk of altercations to attract more sales and hype the fight, it's already hyped with so much news coming up in the last four months it's real and glad that the punch is not that solid to badly hurt Plant, there's already news in UFC where a fight did not push through because the other guy was hurt because of the push he received from his opponent.
Things like this should be avoided if they want to fight they should do it in the ring not in a press conference.

They may not but it would affect their investment if they will not take care of their fighters. You know, it's the promoter who spent to make this fight happen or say the preparation of the fight, so if someone gets injured and the fight is cancelled, it will be a big loss of money on their side.

It's still six weeks to go, promoters should not let them alone again or do that kind of faceoff again to avoid altercations, this is the most anticipated match of the year, promoters should do everything for a similar incident not to happen again, they can do all the trash talk all they want but they should not let these two fighters do a close face-off again, we are still in the pandemic, they should still encourage social distancing.
They already saw what this two could do, so probably when they face again a day before the actual fight for the weigh-in, the security guards will be carefully monitoring them so they will not do stupid things that could hamper the day of the fight. I know they like to beat each other, but let that happen in the right under the rules of boxing.
2171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 23, 2021, 11:50:41 AM
Sorry I was wrong with the odds, I check my bet and it's only 5.25, but still thankful as it's a win. Good start today, I will still bet on the next game and I think it's going to be a close one.

here's my bet slip.

Congrats mate, that's a big win for you. TBH, I don't have the courage to bet on that kind of a market, I'd rather bet on ML than that one.

Bookies were blinded on this game, why they put Ginebra the favorites while the team struggles to win and to think Bolts is on the top of the standings.

They think that Ginebra is the same and they will come back. Ginebra is on consecutive loses, the chemistry problem is pretty evident and it's good for us since we win every time we bet against them.

I'm just curious now on what the future hold for the Gin Kings after this awful conference which on paper they are a very strong contender for the trophy.

Sometimes I put a bet on that kind of market, but just a little amount, an amount that I could let go easily.
High risk, high reward it is.
2172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is a game of capital on: September 22, 2021, 11:30:57 PM
What I thought when I entered crypto and started investing was that I was ready to take risks. This means that risk is the first thing we face, if we only think about profit and profit, we don't have mental stability when big risks come suddenly.
With the main capital of $ 50 this is a good first step for beginners, for me $ 200 is my main capital if starting a new trade. Some trading techniques to start with must be thoroughly digested according to market conditions, long-term trading is a decision if there is a dump that occurs unexpectedly.
It is very important to assess yourselves first before trading. Not all that are in trading can really take risks, they forget about it during their entry as they just focus on the assumption that they can make money so easily.

Some traders put a huge amount into trading  $1,000, $2,000, for they think that it could generate a huge profit. We can't question them for that decision but if we are just a beginner and only have limited knowledge about this, that is not a great idea. $100-$500 was a preferred capital for beginners. We don't need to rush ourselves but instead to know our limitations as well. Although the capital will matter a lot but see to it that we won't regret it once failure will come.
2173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think Ethereum is more dynamic than bitcoin on: September 22, 2021, 10:43:26 PM
Ideally ethereum should be the absolute best cryptocurrency out there, even more than bitcoin because ethereum is the platform that empowers most of the other cryptocurrencies. It is a open source platform that has dynamic use cases unlike bitcoin that has just one  major use case which is to be used as a mes of monetary value transfer & investment
If we look at their uses and function in the market, we will choose ETH as the most important which in fact that is the reality. But, the people are just looking for an investment which brought to their mind that Bitcoin will have that capability and profitable which we can't deny.

Well, to believe that ETH is more dynamic than Bitcoin is just those who are more fun in investing and participating in new projects. But for those who just come for Bitcoin alone, they'll never think about it. That is, of course, not all have seen their real market value as these people only focusing on their individual prices.
2174  Economy / Economics / Re: Cuba the next country to accept cryptocurrencies? on: September 22, 2021, 12:41:11 PM
This is really good news! We have already known that Latin American countries have been very interested in making Bitcoin legal tender. El Salvador has started this chain. And now, finally we are seeing a new country doing so also. But this is the first step for it of course. First, they started leaning towards accepting payments with Bitcoin. Next, they will be leaning towards making Bitcoin legal tender as El Salvador.
This is very good news for all of us who are related to the cryptocurrency world. Cause Day by day who will understand the importance of cryptocurrency, they will take positive decision so it will very help another county to take positive decision.
Adoption by a country is a major development, once the government legalizes the use of crypto, it will be easy for businesses and people to adopt with it, and there's no fear since the government is pro-crypto. I like this kind of news, it's heading to the achievement of the goal which is the massive adoption.

This is good development towards crypto ecosystem so hopefully their government will not get discourage for the current market flaws since if they get distracted by the bearish market happening maybe they will think twice about adopting it but so far  we can still say that we are doing great eventhough market drops so hopefully they can seal this and adopt the potential of bitcoin towards their system.

The adoption intends for long term results, the first step is to legalize the use of bitcoin and maybe consider it as a legal tender, and eventually, it would result in greater positive feedback on the economy as money will enter their country that does not need to go first with the conversion of foreign fiat.

I think they are inspired by El Salvador, a country that has already adopted bitcoin, and they decided to follow it.

The drop is just temporary, let's bear that in mind and let's believe that it will be bullish in the future as real adoption increases.

2176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Not all altcoins will recover on: September 21, 2021, 11:17:41 PM
Look at the meme tokens now, most of them died already because they are useless in this market and that’s why they can’t exist even longer. We have to look for a more established coins or token if you’re going to invest make sure its worth it.
The issue is that many people are not really thinking when they take those important decisions, they let hype take over and invest in whatever is popular at the moment but if the coin does not have a real use then it will eventually disappear, even the most famous meme coin in this market which is dogecoin has a real use, if you want to send cheap and fast transactions on-chain then dogecoin is the best coin for the job so it is not wonder why those meme coins disappeared so quickly.
Among the altcoins and meme coins, we could find such huge competition in order to survive. A lot of altcoins did a good start but later on, they'll gone(exit scam) which makes investors are too careful to invest and only those projects that have a use case will get attention and these shitcoins keep rejected. That is why we can say that not all altcoins aren't meant to succeed as it will rely on the project how it performed.
2177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do Young Investors Prefer Cryptocurrencies? on: September 21, 2021, 10:30:04 PM
Youngsters are open to try new things than elders. Elders think often as they might have had experience in such things earlier getting disappointed often. Another reason, Bitcoin was invented in current decade and it started booming up in the market attracting more investors inside. Since its all online and current generation youngsters started giving their try in it. Many have come inside seeing their friends getting profits out of Bitcoin. And the technology as well plays a big role in bringing in the youngsters.
Yeah, they often adopt the new system as these things could help them bringing into a better life. I appreciate their openness and response to the new technology but can't deny that their minds aren't matured enough to make a strong decision but mostly they easily get quit or even more emotional when they are in the struggles.

What makes these youngsters encourage to invest in crypto it was because they can make it online, it gives no hassle for them and they don't get sweat to work on it. They are techy already which could easy from the to use gadgets, unlike elders.

There's FUD news now on twitter that Biden will reject bitcoin so maybe this has a bit of an impact on bad news on bitcoin so it's going down and some are even panicking about how they are dealing with this, still we have to be calm about this situation because for me it's just a little manipulation to try some people against bitcoin.
So there is some substance for the rumor, i am hearing about this FUD for sometime that the Biden administration is planning to restrict the entire market and i have heard about the restrictions they are going to implement to hackers but when you read the full papers it will affect everyone. Right now the speculations is all over the social media and may be that is the reason the market went down today but these rumors are in the air for weeks.

it seems like the people easily react on rumors, there has been no announcement yet, it could be just a FUD, and look how it impacts the market. We are supposed to be at over $2 trillion marketcap overall, but with this rumor, not only bitcoin dump but altcoins were heavily affected resulted to a decrease of marketcap to $1.88 trillion, in short, there's a major loss and more to come if this downward trend will continue.

Blackwater Bossing coaching staff to undergo major revamp following record-breaking losing streak

Just recently, we all know that Blackwater made the history of the longest losing streak in league history. They finished at a record of 0-11. I'm not aware that it's not just only the standing but they already lost 19 straight games. Yes, since the last year's bubble.

Revamping coaching staff? Is that really their problem? Maybe slightly yes, as the coach's role is to give morale to players while assembling and forming teams. But for me, it's on the players. I'm not taking the reason that they are still not in shape as other teams on their level are improving.

Even Coach Tim Cone will coach them, if these players don't have that desire to compete, then it's useless. Even Phil Jackson won't give this team a win lol. Losing 19 straight games is not a joke and a serious problem already. They should revamp from top to bottom.
What a coincidence, I was just browsing on newsfeed and the news came out from One Sports about this contract review. When they're not working well and they keep on losing, there's really a major thing that they have to change and now is the right time for them to review each contract and revamping the team. If they want to prolong this franchise and make it worthy, they should really need to make a lot of changes, from the coaching staff, players and almost everything to see if there's going to be a sudden change.

No offense from the team owner, but if they wanted to make a good change it should be the players that they needed to revamp.

Even you have coach Tim or Coach Chot, with the squad you have from your roster,
it's impossible to make any miracle wining a single game,

there's none who are willing to step up, sorry for the word but all those players are
not the type of players who are willing to step up and bring to the competition to a good level,
they are just there to play, win or lose  they are okay with the paycheck.

Maybe there's a big problem inside, not only the coaching staff and the players, the management as well. They will have a lot of time to review and evaluate what has happened, their record is worst, and therefore they should act on it immediately. Actually, this team has been struggling every season, but this is their worst so far.
2180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you determine which cryptos to buy during this dip? on: September 20, 2021, 10:50:26 PM
For short term investment
Price and Volume.

These things I considered most when I choose for investment either it was for long-term or short-term. Well, of course, I look first at the leading coins as they are more potentials. And since you are talking about during the dip, choosing those on hyped projects is really risky, never think about trying them if you care about your funds as most of them don't make to recover from the dip but they mostly continued to decline.
