2181  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Connection port and rpc port on: December 05, 2013, 08:25:01 PM
You've got to use them (the RPC one) for solo mining a specific coin.

I'm not sure with what you are mining, but if you are new to this scene and mining with a GPU (a graphics cards) I think it's better for you to join a pool for a specific coin. You wont need those ports then Wink.
2182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why can't asic miners mine alt coins? on: December 05, 2013, 07:19:31 PM
Because the algorithm of the most altcoins (such as Litecoin) is different from the algorithm from bitcoins.  Altcoins like Litecoin use "Scrypt" and Bitcoins uses "Sha 256 (or something)".

I'm not sure what you mean with your second question, but better graphic cards (GPU's) get higher hashrates.  "Scrypt" is harder to mine than Sha-256 (with a GPU), that's why it shows a hash rate which is less.
2183  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Who send me coins on Cryptsy on: December 05, 2013, 07:15:09 PM
Allright Not.you, that worked for me. It is a guy / lady called "Ratters481".

I don't know him or her, but I don't think it's possible to send coins on accident to someone else (because of the character of the Trade key). Anyway, i'll try to find him / her.

Thanks!
2184  Economy / Service Discussion / Who send me coins on Cryptsy on: December 05, 2013, 05:48:55 PM
Hey Cryptsy users,

Does someone know how I can see who has send me coins on Cryptsy? I received coins from a stranger, but was too late to recognize his name that was showed on a pop-up.
2185  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling the end on: December 05, 2013, 05:40:22 PM
Hehehe thank you. Good luck people with trying to push the price back. Are you going to dump all your coins to do that? Be my guest.
2186  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: 3FM Serious Request Glazenhuis actie! on: December 05, 2013, 05:28:14 PM

Sorry!
2187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling the end on: December 05, 2013, 05:24:36 PM
Interesting.. Could you explain your statement? You've got 375, if you were a newbie I would ignore you too but I'll give it a shot. Why?
2188  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 0.4BTC/month just by posting! on: December 05, 2013, 05:17:05 PM
Question: Do I have to put my post count in this thread on the 18th of every month to enroll for the next month?

Yes, you do. You can send Stunna a PM at the 17th of December with the amount of constructive post you've made (and with your Bitcoin address), and after that you need to sign up again for another month (by posting a reply here with the amount of post you've got at that moment).
2189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DGC] DigitalCoin.Co | Instant \ Stable \ Reliable | International on: December 05, 2013, 04:53:20 PM
Allright. Most of the time I check Cryptsy for the value of the DGC in comparison with the BTC.  Or CryptoCoinCharts (specific on DGC) http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/orderbook.php?pair=dgc-btc&market=cryptsy.

2190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TagCoin - The World's First Rewards Coin - MANDATORY UPDATE REQUIRED on: December 05, 2013, 03:08:10 PM
Depends on what you are looking for. As I'm only mining TAG sometimes (because I have to use my desktop for work), I like PPS pools. http://tag.cryptopools.com/ is the only PPS pool for mining TAG that I know, and it's really reliable Wink.
2191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Want to create a own cryptocurrency on: December 05, 2013, 03:01:58 PM
Another altcoin? There are so many already.. Why don't you  let him make use of other existing altcoins?

However, for people with scripting knowledge it is quiet easy (atleast, I'm told so). There are also topics about how to create a new coin, with a kind of how-to. Use the search function of this forum and you'll find it.
2192  Local / Mining (Nederlands) / Re: MiningPool.nl - LiteCoin Mining - NEDERLAND on: December 05, 2013, 02:51:08 PM

2193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DGC] DigitalCoin.Co | Instant \ Stable \ Reliable | International on: December 05, 2013, 02:46:57 PM
I'm glad it stabilized a bit now, about 0,00024.   Which is still too less for this coin in my opinion, but I don't really bother. As this ables me to buy them quite cheap. Allmost exchanging all my BTC for DGC as soon as I receive any.  Smiley
2194  Local / Mining (Nederlands) / Re: MiningPool.nl - LiteCoin Mining - NEDERLAND on: December 05, 2013, 01:49:19 PM

Code:
<path> CGminer\cgminer-3.7.2-windows\cgminer --scrypt --url http://cryptopools.com:3333 -u USERNAME -p PASSWORD --thread-concurrency 21712 -I 18 -g 1 -w 256 --temp-target 76 --gpu-fan 25-80,65 --auto-fan --temp-overheat 82
2195  Local / Mining (Nederlands) / Re: MiningPool.nl - LiteCoin Mining - NEDERLAND on: December 05, 2013, 01:35:39 PM

Lijkt me erg handig.
2196  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why are we back up again ? on: December 05, 2013, 01:24:22 PM
Who cares about China. ^^

More Bitcoins for us if the Chinese are going to sell a lot of them. Let them come Smiley
2197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: FeatherCoin - New Litecoin based coin on: December 05, 2013, 11:48:41 AM
The value is currently about 0,00064 BTC and it has been about 0,0006 a few hours ago. Come one guys, get some while they're still this cheap Smiley
2198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DGC] DigitalCoin.Co | Instant \ Stable \ Reliable | International on: December 05, 2013, 11:45:03 AM
Something caused a little crash in the value of a DGC last night. I saw it hit 0,00015 BTC last night, and it have been about 0,00032 a few days ago.
2199  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Forse koersstijging Bitcoin on: December 05, 2013, 11:42:35 AM

2200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TagCoin giveaway 1500+ and join Crypto Club on: December 05, 2013, 01:01:49 AM
I did, I always received a TAG on the date they mention. Are you checking the TagBank? They dont send it to your wallet.
