2181  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't buy this dip yet! on: March 24, 2021, 07:44:45 AM
Why not? Every dip is a buying opportunity. Those "triangles" and other chart readings might not be always the same or what you think. Hence, just buy when you see a dip. It is going to be okay even if its a bad "buy" - you know, since you are going to invest only what you can afford to lose. That's the golden rule right?
If the dip was the last buying opportunity, people would start regretting a lot. What if the "$25k" you are expecting never happens? You would keep on waiting an event that is never going to occur and miss all opportunities.
2182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Bitcoin which is best. on: March 23, 2021, 08:13:36 AM
You can't compare Ethereum and Bitcoin. They are both two different coins/platform with different use cases. Both of them are considered to be really good when it comes to their use cases. If you are talking about which coin is going to be the best to invest in, then go for both. Try investing more than half in bitcoin (long term will give you profit) and rest in ether. But people keep on saying that Ethereum is undervalued.
The two coins are actually very good and are considered safe coins, but if I had to choose one of the two coins, I would choose bitcoin, because bitcoin is much more stable than ethereum, and moreover bitcoin is more popular than ethereum
More stable than ethereum? In what sense? They both fluctuate a lot. Yes, bitcoin is somewhat more popular than ethereum, but it's not like no one has heard of ethereum or anything. If you say altcoins, the first thing that might come to a persons mind is ethereum. In fact both are equally popular.
2183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone bettor or a competitive one? on: March 23, 2021, 08:01:10 AM
I don't gamble much, but I guess it depends on how people feel at that moment i.e. their mood. Some people likes to place solo bets and then there are others that like to join a competition and compete against each other. Hence, you will see most of the casino has some sort of challenge or contest that everyone can join, compete and get rewarded. It's a different kind of amusement, you know.
If we're going to join in the competitions while we are lone better, we can ask some of our friends to place the bet for us.
You don't want to ask your friends to place bets for you. I mean unless they are someone who is very chill with you, you should never tell anyone else to do it on your behalf. What if you lose big? Your "friend" is going to feel guilty or you will end up blaming him. What if you win big? You "friend" might think he deserve the win. Don't ever tell some random friend to place bets on your behalf.
2184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Future? on: March 23, 2021, 07:50:33 AM
We can never predict what's the future of bitcoin. It may become the digital currency that everyone wanted. It maybe the only currency that is used by everyone, replacing fiat. Or it maybe the exact opposite. It may turn out to be something disappointing. Maybe we will find a huge flaw that will make bitcoin completely obsolete. Probably a new currency or technology might be invented that will be far superior than blockchain and bitcoin. All I am trying to say is that you may never know what's going to happen in the future. Maybe things will be the same the next decade, maybe not.
2185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC seems to be fading out and loosing popularity. on: March 20, 2021, 06:38:09 AM
A lot of people already feel left out, Almost like they have missed the opportunity to invest in bitcoin, many are looking to invest in other alt coins.
They had their chance, they didn't take it. They still have a chance, yet they are just complaining and whining how they missed the opportunity. Again there are those that missed the boat and are now just bashing crypto currencies in every possible way. It's just because they regret. Everyone still has their opportunity. Instead of investing in some random shitty altcoins, they can invest those money in bitcoin (no need to hold one whole bitcoin!) and make some good profit in the long run.
I had a conversation with a friend today about Bitcoin, investment and its very high transaction fees, he expressed his displeasure saying that like him, many others that he knew are no longer considering btc to invest in, rather, they are looking to invest in other crypto's.
If he wants to hold bitcoin for long term, then the fee is nothing compared to the long term gains. Your friend is just being prejudiced against bitcoin.
2186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin better than Fiat? on: March 20, 2021, 06:31:19 AM
Still too early to tell, OP.
Though Bitcoin shows its convenience already with what you mentioned, without the use of ID verification, there are still many things to consider with it.
Even though there isn't KYC verification, we still have mining fees that some have problems at.
Speed of transaction is quite an issue to some as well unlike fiat that personal transaction done is == to transaction instantly done and concluded.
Yeah too early to tell, but based  on current situation, if it comes to using it as a regular currency to make day to day transaction, then no, it is unfortunately not better than fiat. Of course the technology behind crypto currencies is very innovative and impressive, there are still some drawbacks that are making crypto inferior when compared to fiat. We all know fiat is BS, but this is what everyone is using due to its flexibility and mass people have accepted it.
Like you said, transaction speed and mining fees along with few other things are what is making crypto less attractive when compared to fiat (talking about small transaction).
2187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins to invest in right now on: March 20, 2021, 06:26:57 AM
So why all these coins? The list you have looks really uncanny. Why isn't ETH on the list? If you are looking for altcoins, I would say keep ETH on the top. People say ETH is very highly undervalued and the price can go up anytime once some changes/adjustments are made.
On other hand, there are coins on the list that I doubt anyone has heard of. Investing on those are very risky. Again, you really sure XRP should be on your top list? People are hoping XRP will win the lawsuit and the price will skyrocket. But that chances of that happening with few months is rare. Who knows if another issue comes up with XRP.
2188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for Holders! on: March 20, 2021, 06:23:08 AM
You should realize that "unhealthy" holding obsession is actually bad for people. This kind of mentality sometimes has a negative health impact. If you see that the price is rising and you have reached your profit goal, there is nothing wrong in selling your bitcoin. If you see that the price is dropping and is bothering you a lot. You can sell it at a loss and move on. You can maybe try again later. If this keeps on repeating, then you should stop investing once you realize that crypto investment isn't for you. This should rarely happen though since you know how the market works and on contrast weren't you supposed to invest only what you could afford to lose?
2189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi crypto (legit?) Or a hoax? on: March 19, 2021, 07:48:43 PM
Wait that crap still exists? If you google "Pi coin legit", you will see hundreds of result saying that the Pi network is a scam. You should delete that shitty app right away. It's more like a ponzi/MLM thing where you have to invite more friends to get more coins and shit. As far as I know, they don't even have a working chain, and you don't even know what they are actually mining using your phone. They probably are using your phones hardware to mine some other coins or maybe they are just mining your data and selling it to some third party companies.
It's a crap project. Delete it and if you have invited others, tell them to do the same.
2190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many coin in circulation on: March 19, 2021, 06:44:01 PM
Yup, there are a lot of coins in circulation, but how many of them are actually very popular and has an active community? Very few. Crypto market is mostly a decentralized market and no one can stop anyone from making a new coin. Even though new coins pop up everyday, only few manages to survive. Again, most of them them are made to scam people by making false promises or just manipulating the price. Some people are aware of this and tries to take advantage of the pump and dump. Only few selected coins that has actual use case and active community are the ones that are leading. And good working pointing out the factors that will actually help people to figure out which coin is better!
2191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy on: March 19, 2021, 05:15:19 PM
Would like to know what is the best strategy when using the slots games. Or maybe some good number spreads on the dice game. Any and all advice or inputs are welcome. For I am new to the game in any advice is helpful thank you and good luck.
Look, there is no way you will be able to beat the house. The house has an edge and in the long run, it is the casino that will win. The best strategy is to stop as soon as you make profit and never to come back. But alas, people always tend to come back. Strategies or "trick and tips" won't help you make profit. These are games of chances and your outcome depends on your luck. If you are lucky, you will win. If you are unlucky, you will lose everything. Most of the time you will be unlucky.
But some strategies might help you control your losses and help you manage your balance better.
2192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The higher BTC goes, the bigger the risk/reward ratio and the less buyers enter on: March 19, 2021, 07:07:32 AM
If you are talking about the short term risk/reward ratio, then you are correct, the higher the price goes, the higher the chance of it falling back. But if it's going to be long term investment, no matter when you invest, you will eventually get profit as long as you don't sell them at a loss.
People can always buy fractions of a coins, don't forget that. But this is also true, less buyers enters the market. Hence, this is also why market correction is an healthy event. No matter how much people hate market corrections, it creates a chance for more buyers to enter the market and helps the price go even higher.
2193  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like India is perhaps serious about banning cryptocurrency on: March 19, 2021, 06:57:18 AM

It's crazy to think about a government actually making it illegal, acting like you are some terrible criminal, simply for holding a digital asset. I guess other smaller nations have done this, but India would be the first major nation if it indeed passes. The idea of banning bitcoin is a great litmus test on how much economic freedom a nation has - and if you ban it you are a terribly monetarily oppressive nation.

Thoughts on the possible India crypto ban?
Your government isn't going to be the first one then. I have seen very few other countries that have banned bitcoin. I am just wondering, how are they going to ban it? It is almost impossible to do so. There is no way they can track each  and every citizen who are using bitcoin (unless banks are involved). So even if they do ban bitcoin, won't you guys be able to do P2P trading like the way bitcoin was supposed to be traded?
2194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk name once again used to fool people by hackers! on: March 19, 2021, 06:44:17 AM
When you say "he is associated with some scam", it sounds so wrong. Feels like you are implying that it's his fault lol. Anyway, this isn't something new. I still don't get it, how come people fall for this kind of scams? Don't they read the news or do any diggings before sending their money? I mean if I were to invest some huge amount of money, I would start googling and look for information.
If they are this stupid thinking that they will get quick money from Elon, then they sadly deserve to get scammed. At least it will teach them a lesson!
2195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategies best used to play plinko game on: March 18, 2021, 09:18:26 PM
Don't go for strategies. You will lose everything. Plinko is a game where the outcome is dependent purely on your luck. Applying strategies won't help you to win anything. You have options to change your difficulty as far as I know. If you want to win something big, go for the "hard" difficulty. If you want to play safe, go for "low".
Maybe try to make small amount of profit through low difficulty and then use your profit to score something big on the "hard" difficulty? Nonetheless, as soon as you make your profit, quit. If you keep on playing, you will lose everything.
2196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Are The Top Altcoins For Investments In 2021 on: March 18, 2021, 07:27:24 PM
So, if you are looking for the top altcoins to invest in your money, you should choose from Ethereum, Cardano, NEO, OmiseGo, and Vechain.
Investing in ethereum makes sense, but why are you recommending other coins like Cardano and NEO? Never even heard of OmiseGo. Don't see anyone talking about Vechain over here. So why exactly do you think these coins are now good for investing?
In case you are not able to invest in Bitcoins, you should look for other cryptocurrencies.
If you can invest in other crypto currencies, I am sure you can also invest in bitcoin. Remember, you don't have to own one full bitcoins. Holding a fraction of bitcoin is much better than holding a whole bunch of unknown coins.
At present, the crypto market is performing better than the traditional one. Although Stellar and Qtum are gaining traction, they have to get more market capitalization in order to emerge as the profitable ones to the people. Watch out for a reputable crypto platform if you are not getting anywhere in crypto trading and investments. It will definitely help you out.
Are your "unknown" coins really performing better than traditional ones? If they are, then they probably are being manipulated so attract investor. Invest in traditional ones, and you won't regret in the long run.
2197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visa: We make it possible to buy bitcoins using Visa on: March 18, 2021, 07:50:48 AM
Didn't VISA and Mastercard say the same thing last year? And then the previous years they put a ban on buying crypto using their cards, right? They all seem so confused and lost. They can't even come up with a perfection solution or a decision. This is so sad (and pathetic) when you see "worlds two largest payment processors" are struggling with taking a proper decision. But then again, I guess it's not them, but the current law and government making everything more complicated for them.
2198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling Weekly on: March 18, 2021, 07:43:52 AM
-snip-
This is why there is misunderstanding about bitcoin at the beginning days that bitcoin is created for the gambling and illegal needs.
-snip
What's wrong if bitcoin or any crypto currencies are used for gambling? It's not wrong if you are gambling with your own money for entertainment purpose. It's only wrong to gamble if you are addicted and about to ruin your life (along with others that are close to you).
Do you know that the total amount of bets placed using fiat currency is higher than all crypto currencies combined? Even more people commit crimes using fiat currency. It's easier for them to use the liquid money.
2199  Economy / Economics / Re: I wamt to know everybody know that collapse amd finamcial crash coming on: March 18, 2021, 07:25:12 AM
Financial and economic crashes happen all the time. It's not like it is something new. Unless it is something really serious, the crashes are just short term and usually recovers really fast. Just like last year. Look at what happened to the economy due to the pandemic, but right now. It is very much stable.
And yes, when the economy of a country starts to crash, the fiat value also starts to drop along with the economy. When this usually happens, the price of bitcoin starts to increase. But you won't exactly know when this is going to happen.
Here is oeople who knows but they dont tell us ....
Former bankers finamce or goverment people tell us plz.
Or get out of this forum if u dont help your fellow forum users
Lol, not sure if you are being serious over here.
2200  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading have an advantage over investing?? on: March 17, 2021, 09:22:28 PM
Completely depends on you and your habit/behavior. For some people trading is more better than investing and for others, it's exactly the opposite. Trading will most likely give you some quick profit in short period of time. The better you are at trading, the more profit you will be making. But with those high profit comes high risk. Make one mistake, you will likely end up making a huge loss. On other hand, investing/holding is more like something passive. Something that you don't have to worry about. You invest, sit back and relax. When you reach your profit goal, you are done. It's less riskier when compared to trading!
