2181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Japan becomes more friendly towards Gambling on: December 07, 2020, 11:39:02 AM
According to the recent reports Japan after realizing how the taxation on IR's can fail to attract foreign players removed the taxation on the gambling winnings in IRs. Now people can enjoy a more gambling friendly environment **particularly the foreigners**.
The government is working towards building the policies according to the international standards.
- full reforms will be announced on 10 December
- the citizens will still be taxed if their winnings exceed a certain amount

I do believe that this is a very positive thing, it will attract more people for sure and can even aid in post covid recovery.

Share your thoughts?? Would things like this benefit other countries too?
2182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the odds of other outcomes matter to you? on: December 07, 2020, 11:08:51 AM
If a person decides to bet dependent on just their favourites, they would suffer huge losses in the future. The thing is if I am going to bet on a certain thing and I have a chance at betting for something better , with better odds , better probability then : Why not ?
When you are placing bets you have to make sure to realize if you will win the bet or no. Having just the money in your wallet and betting with closed eyes based solely on preferences is something that is actually a really bad habit, maybe for the people who just bet once in a while and don't care about it much but for a person involved in this regularly, one have to be careful .
So I think one should have to let go of the favourites for a while. Be attentive. Follow up with everything and then go for it.
2183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taxation of 30% on gains from Bitcoin investment? on: December 07, 2020, 07:09:49 AM
Hello
A tax of 30% ?
Well check the source again since when I tried to find something like this it was written how it was supposed to be imposed on people who earn more than 10 lakhs only. Therefore I do believe that even if you are earning more than 10 lakhs from bitcoins then it would be really wrong to actually try and take this kind of money from people.

Quote
For eg, if his taxable income exceeds Rs 10 lakh, he would be liable to a tax @ 30% as against the flat rate of tax of 20% he would be liable to pay if charged to tax under long-term capital gains.

- I think is this the source you were talking about ??

:::::: But at the same time this is not going to work , what they are trying to do is :- to channel these investors in the upcoming digital rupee, on which I believe they will impose less tax or maybe none at all.

This is really bad since this time we can clearly see which side is trying to benefit from a currency which was supposed to empower people.
2184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I want to know about this game. on: December 06, 2020, 05:45:01 PM
Okay , I cannot get enough of the cute hamster , but I do think the only way one should go about this is if the hamsters are taken good care of , they are not misused or anything. They need to get proper food , rest and stay hydrated so that Nothing bad happens and the safety of the equipments also needs to be checked. Now we move onto the other thing:
Isn't this going to be a small scale game ? I do believe it would be incredibly fair since the little guy won't do anything, good idea though this way your pet will be engaged and you can also start a small business without hurting anyone.
The probability would be 1/10 and betting on the marble means some people would want to check on all of them for deformities and even the equipments. How would you go about that part ??
2185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A free land for bitcoin on: December 06, 2020, 05:03:09 PM
Is there any chance that we can find a place like Africa or island in pacific ocean to make bitcoin a totally legal currency?no shit from government.
There is no way that any governmental body won't oppose to Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies since the main thing is , in these countries where you mention in your post , there is a lot of Corruption. Which does mean that these countries will have a very hard time accepting a crypto which would actually make everything very open , it could be beneficial for the people but the government won't actually step up and try and legalize this , since they will always worry about cryptocurrencies being used in illegal activities.
I do believe what matters is: government shouldn't intervene in Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies so much , they should treat Bitcoins as an asset which they have to protect!
In my native country it's very funny since the government cannot decide weather to benefit from Bitcoins or to ban it , but in the country am studying it's really amazing since people here also exchange Bitcoins for cash and you can very easily make transactions without any problems. Only problem is: not every shop accept Bitcoins, then again we have to correct the lightning network first for that.
2186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone who have worked or currently working in casino? on: December 06, 2020, 04:15:46 PM
This one just came into my mind, since most gamblers are really losing money in a casino, I would like hear some advice from casino workers here on what to do as they are pretty much well expose to different scenario in a casino and probably know how to prevent getting ourselves in financial trouble.

Since we are anonymous here and your company would not know that you are the one who share that information here, please do so as this would create some exciting discussion. A worst scenario like a gambler losing a lot money or a gambler winning a lot of money.

Please share your experience.

Hello
I don't think that everyone is actually kind of hidden here since their identity can be tracked if they did have some mail address or used some btc address for the transactions and such and whatever they did are stored in archives and then can be retrieved if they truly have to go after a person.
But I do think that an employee doesn't have that level of knowledge as far as that's concerned they do have to understand for a fact that some casinos do play tricks on people and use various methods to secure that profit if theirs but if something like that happens , it's considered illegal and will be hidden these won't be disclosed to anyone even employee.
So if you are considering finding about things like this you need to do a hidden operation yourself.
2187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: has bitcoin achieved its goal? on: December 06, 2020, 03:27:01 PM
Bitcoin has accomplished a lot over the last few years and deserves a lot of credit for it but has not achieved its goal yet.  Bitcoin is set to achieve global protection whereby everyone will accept its use in terms of payment methods and apply it to their business and transactions.

Hello
I actually believe that Bitcoins themselves doesn't have a goal , other than *helping people to achieve their own personal ones* which does mean that the goal in contrast to Bitcoins might be different for both you and me.
For some people the goal might be : Storing Bitcoins and investing for a long run.
For some people it might be : using Bitcoins time and again for their needs and maybe using it as a source to transfer money

Some people even use it to expand their business but finally they convert it into fiat and there are companies who are actually investing more than a 10% of their income in Bitcoins.

I do believe it have achieved it's initial goal which was : Acceptance

For sure we do have some drawbacks and some countries not still accepting it but I do think that we just have to give this time.
2188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / **family survives 40 countries living only on Bitcoins** on: December 06, 2020, 02:14:25 PM
So this popped up in the news today :
https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2020/12/05/bitcoin-price-buying-bitcoin-how-this-family-buys-sells-everything-in-cryptocurrency.html

This is a story of a family which survived 40 countries depending just on Bitcoins. They did that for 4 years and invested in Bitcoins in 2017 when the price was 900$. The family apparently does not pay in anything other than bitcoins , so they are travelling the world and asking the people and the government if the transaction can be made in Bitcoins. How cool is that ??

Quote
But they say there are two places on the planet where you can pay for literally everything using bitcoin: the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana and a small Italian village called Rovereto

!!!!!

Quote
In Ljubljana, they paid for things like car repairs and cinema tickets in the cryptocurrency, and in Rovereto, it is possible to buy a motorbike, pay your taxes, or get a haircut using bitcoin

He didn't even cut his hair until and unless he did find a person who did accept Bitcoins.

Quote
"I always said to people, 'I'm never going to cut my hair till I find a hairdresser that accepts bitcoin,'" said Taihuttu. "And then I walked into this hairdresser, and he was accepting bitcoin. I was like, 'Oh, no, I need to cut my hair!'"

For Didi, the fact that both a very small traditional village and the capital of a country had whole-heartedly embraced bitcoin was a sign to him that it was possible anywhere.

"In my opinion, any country, any city in the world, can have the same adoption of bitcoin as a store of value, or payment, or peer-to-peer cash," explained Taihuttu. "This is what keeps driving us to explore the world."

Okay I believe it's very cool ! What are your thoughts on this ? This family is not only exploring their way around the world but they are also educating people about Bitcoins.

2189  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is a Massively Underrated Opportunity in Today’s Macroeconomy on: December 06, 2020, 01:50:34 PM
The article is very good but extensively long therefore maybe you would like to write the main points upfront so that people can have like a summary.

I do believe that Bitcoins is actually even one step ahead of our everyday technology and in this world there are not just people of our age , but other people too who might be conservative, don't know how to use it, would prefer investments like Gold etc. When it comes to cryptocurrencies like Bitcoins it's more of a personal preference and not necessity, therefore if these people are skipping it I believe this is really normal.

But I do think that now it's getting the recognition it deserves , media , news , companies, retirement plans , etc .. everything have started integrating them with Bitcoins so I believe this is really good.
2190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will Bookmakers Suspend/Restrict My Account if I Profit in the Long Term? on: December 06, 2020, 12:27:48 PM
The good thing with gambling in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoins is :- If they do that just make a new account and get started again until and unless they think about closing it, keep withdrawing the funds on time since you never know when they would even freeze that.
I do believe you have to understand that this happens in casinos too, they filter out the good players and ask them to leave , no one wants to have a guy on winning spree in their casino 😂 , this is natural , they are just scared of those people and might think that those people are using some underhanded methods to do that. Therefore they do believe that they might have to look into it, make the game harder , make sure they don't loose a lot ...this is quite normal.

If you are a professional and don't use anything else to win then you have nothing to worry about.
2191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A game called Ending on: December 05, 2020, 06:07:26 PM
But isn't it more riskier than just betting on the teams , about which one is going to win / loose ? This game for sure does need a lot of luck. I do believe that you would be better off playing some other game.
Plus the probability 1/10*1/10 is scary , on the other hand if you do bet on a team you would win 50% of the time ofcourse. Which is like 1/2.
So which one would you want to do???
1/2 or 1/100
This seems like a really complicated and really luck based game and therefore it's not adapted in the channel and most of the websites don't have it. I won't blame them since you know this is outright impossible and people won't even wanna try.
2192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Chinese Quantum Computer breakthrough - should we be concerned? on: December 05, 2020, 04:57:01 PM
I don't think that a country which was not even able to effectively control the pandemic and even tried to hush it's own doctors did this by themselves. They might have used some resources and even use the existing technology regarding the quantum computing. Right now if China will have this technology I do think that *Bitcoins* should be the least of our worries. They would for sure try and break through all the governmental website. Launch a cyber attack, use this technology for malicious intent. I do believe that the UNESCO would have to step up and then make sure that sign a contract with these countries to make sure they don't use this technology for these purposes.
Don't worry , we already have some companies who are by far way ahead and we haven't heard any incident like *Bitcoins were hacked using quantum mechanics*;* I do think it's not as easy as it sounds.
2193  Economy / Economics / Re: US Firm Launches Company-Sponsored Bitcoin Retirement Plans on: December 05, 2020, 02:45:49 PM
This is essentially a very good thing , but at the same time I do believe that the company does have to take into account the Volatility of the Bitcoins for sure and double insure it in any case since no matter what Retirement plans are really very serious and therefore even a little irresponsibility on the part of the company can cause problems for the investors.

- they would need to employee people who are very familiar not in just theory but in practical part too with Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies.

- they have to make sure that the people who are investing here understands how It works.

This is really positive news for Bitcoins and at the end of the day I do believe that the the company will have to imply a whole different approach when it comes to this and make sure they are up to date with everything alike. Let's see how it goes.
2194  Economy / Economics / Re: What inflation lol?? on: December 05, 2020, 02:09:22 PM
See inflation is a healthy thing which happens over the years and is calculated accordingly. But in 2020 due to the Pandemic , the coronavirus the price of certain things are rising. Not only that people don't have jobs and at the same time the market is going down therefore people are loosing investments. Therefore this is clearly a state of practical inflation.
Check the prices of gold . So I believe when we see news and at the articles stating facts about the inflation they usually take everything into account and you also have to consider country wise, some of them are having a lot of trouble adjusting since the production in their own country is exceptionally low and therefore they have to usually import but during the pandemic it's really hard and the prices are for sure higher.
2195  Economy / Economics / Re: usa dollar biden and economy i have great solution for usa 2021 on: December 04, 2020, 10:53:35 PM
Make borders open to more people?? So they will buy dollars ?? I do believe that you are focusing on tourism. Most of the tourists don't generally trade in USD , they rather use them for the time they are there and travel and tourism only accounts for 2.8% there , which during COVID-19 will prove fatal for the whole economy and slowly kill it from the inside.

Tourism is not an option right now.

If you do believe that USA should allow more people to come inside their country for jobs and housing and everything else , that takes a lot of time , selection , resources and it doesn't happen overnight.

In the Finland on the other hand, the tourism only accounts for 2.7% of the GDP and I really don't know what you are trying to tell. How about a better explanation??
2196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Gamblers! What is your excuse to avoid a game with 0% House Edge? on: November 30, 2020, 06:35:12 PM
Hello
That's really good that your site is providing people with 0% house edge but at the same time I do believe people already made their point.
- you need good promotion
- good reviews , maybe something like a youtube video review by selected players well recognized here on the form.
- you can even pick up any manager and then ask them to endorse the site??
- at the same time you need to update the site 🔥 best of luck with the project.
It's all about the competition!!!
Many sites offer 0% on selected games too... You have to get involved with people here on the forum more.

2197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who are those real rich elite who invest in bitcoin ? on: November 30, 2020, 05:31:35 PM
- companies
- rich people
- people who purchased Bitcoins when the value was super low
- business firms
- wallets which doesn't give people the private key thus they own all those coins
- people like Mr. Satoshi who were involved in the invention
- early adopters
- governments , since they usually seize btc from scammers and can have a lot of them or some countries where the btc is banned and thus the government takes control of everyone's coins like how they seized the illegal mining farms in china.

There can be a lot of people .... Who knows ??
2198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This source reports that Chinese govt has sold bitcoins from Plustoken scam on: November 30, 2020, 04:54:45 PM
Well this is what the government does. They usually take the  scammers money or any asset and then they just sell it or put up a auction for the same. As it turns out it's generally converted into their fiat and then used for either the country or maybe sometimes goes in the pocket of the people who are unfortunately corrupt.
But as we know the price of Bitcoins is climbing as fast as it can and it's really good for the market and therefore I do believe that the government failed to dominate in this section.
Plus I don't think they are going to tell the exact time , date when they sold those coins , this is for sure some information that someone accidentally leaked so consider them sold way way before.
2199  Other / Off-topic / Re: Income from Bitcoin investment on: November 30, 2020, 04:35:12 PM
Actually there are no safe options if we really talk about it.
- you can earn
- you can trade
- you can join signature campaigns
- you can hold for a long time or short time
- you can get involved in day trading
- you can trade btc and altcoins
- you can also sell your services
- you can do usd-btc trading which is really beneficial
- you can store them in a wallet which does provide the users with a passive income and give good returns
- you can lend your coins

You can never put up a question of safety but at the same time it's dependent on your luck and experience.
2200  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the Cause of Price Hike Now in the Market? on: November 30, 2020, 01:26:49 PM
Hello
Bitcoin is a decentralized currency which does mean that we cannot ever put a pin on the reason why the price hikes, therefore instead of this I do believe this all reasons have a commutative effect which inturn creates a better reason.
The Christmas 🎄 actually should cause decrease in the price according to me since during the holiday season people tend the incash out. We still have 25 days to see how it will go since we are not  that near Christmas.
At present I believe it's just that Bitcoins is proving to be extremely helpful during the pandemic and people are finally seeing this and therefore many companies and the business ventures are even investing in cryptocurrencies, over the month we have seen news of companies keeping their funds in Bitcoins and banks accepting it as a inheritance etc...
